**Self-sufficiency in ICUs for coronavirus patients soon: Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma - **State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that Assam is inching towards a comfortable position insofar as ICUs for coronavirus patients is concerned. Talking to media Sarma said, “We’ve decided to use the Singimari Model Hospital in Kamrup district exclusively for the treatment of corona cases. The new hospital was about to open and the appointment of the doctor and nurse was over. However, now we’ve decided to use it exclusively for corona cases.”

**Six arrested for possession of narcotic drugs in Lakhimpur - **The Lakhimpur police on Sunday night arrested four alleged drug peddlers from an ambulance. The accused were identified as Jiabur Rahman, son of Abdul Jabbar, Kampur, Nagaon, Arup Borah, son of Bolin Borah, Ward No. 3, Bihpuria, Jamiruddin, son of Abdul Matleb, Bandardewa, and Niranjan Konwar, Bandardewa, living near PTC of Arunachal Pradesh. In an another case the police have arrested two alleged drug peddlers identified as Rajiv Saikia, son of Nilomani Saikia, Dhalpur.
