**1. Adequate arrangement has been made for the transportation of employees from different areas of greater Guwahati. However, the public will be barred from entering the Janata Bhawan till further order.

Number of Corona patients to decline fast in Assam: Himanta Biswa Sarma - **Health & Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday asserted that the number of new Coronavirus patients in the State would decline fast in the next few days even as Dispur was creating more facilities to quarantine suspected coronavirus-infected persons. Five COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at MMCH and GMCH, were discharged on Sunday after their four successive tests came negative.

NRC employees’ association contributes to Assam Arogya Nidhi - **In response to the appeal made by the Government of Assam, NRC Employees’ Association Assam came forward and contributed an amount of Rs. 2,43,300 towards Assam Arogya Nidhi. In a press statement, secretary of the association, Barnam Kumar Deka stated that a bank draft (No. 888768 dated 17/04/2020) was handed over to the State Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma at the headquarter of National Health Mission Office, Guwahati on Saturday.

According to sources, the vehicle (AS 25 EC 2801) carrying vegetables was coming from the Besimari area of Darrang district and going to Duliajan.

Northeast Frontier Railway launches SETU initiative to ensure goods transportation - **To bridge the gap between demand and supply, some officials of the Indian Railways have launched the innovative initiative named ‘SETU’ (Swift and Efficient Transport of Utilities). This has been launched rising to the call for action by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal, during the present new Coroanvirus crisis.

Help stranded Assamese due to lockdown: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to CMs - **Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday made telephone calls to his counterparts Naveen Patnaik in Odisha, Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh, Nitish Kumar in Bihar, Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, Manohar Lal Khattar in Hariyana and Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Madhya Pradesh and urged them to provide all necessary help to the people of Assam stranded in those states due to the nationwide lockdown.
