The ambassador contest was a highlight of the 110th Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) annual meeting. Each year, a panel of judges selects two college students who will serve in the leadership role through the year ahead. This year, 14 young leaders competed for the opportunity, and Karson Calvin and Claire Walker earned the title. This week, we introduce you to Walker, representing the Livingston County Farm Bureau. She's a junior at the University of Missouri majoring in agribusiness management. The reigning Missouri State Fair queen, Walker is involved in the MU Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter, Block & Bridle, Sigma Alpha and the agribusiness club on campus.
