Episode 85 - Navy Seal on Leadership & Action (w/ Sean Matson)

Hey everyone!

For this episode, I invited serial entrepreneur and former Navy SEAL Sean Matson to talk about how he was able to take his experiences out on the field and incorporate them into the world of business. We will also discuss the significance of action, and how it can cause large ripples of success in your life as opposed to succumbing to inaction. Every step counts, no matter how small.

We tackle the concept of "Work-Life Balance," and if it really is an efficient way to go about your daily routine. Sean also talks about the power of focusing on one thing. Locking onto one thing may not be for everyone, but for those who have the power to zone in on one ultimate end-goal, committing and staying consistent in working towards that goal will pave the way towards your success, if not directly bring it to you.

Being on the field of duty for 13 years, Sean served his country as a Navy SEAL Officer deploying to various strategic locations around the world, seeing action in the years 2005-2018. After over a decade of service, he finally took the battle to the field of business, where he co-founded multiple companies such as MATBOCK, Aceso Plasma, Kardax Solutions, and mostly CardoMax.

Now having the time on his hands, Sean loves to spend time with his wife and his three kids Shelby, Tyler, and Maverick. Join us as we talk about how his entrepreneurial career came to be in a military cargo ship, and how that first step paved the way to what would now be considered a growing empire of disruptive technologies, also empowering those along their journey.

Leveraging the leadership skills he acquired during his time on active duty, Sean has been instrumental in the success of these various companies.
