• Your first real estate deal will never be perfect. You need to get your feet wet and get in the game. Get past analysis paralysis. 
• If you want to be a house flipper get a mentor and make sure that your numbers are run as accurately as possible, Do your due diligence with contractors, including incentives intro contracts can help keep them accountable. Never pay for work upfront. 
• The Chicago Market- Plenty of people are getting wealthy investing in the city while others are listening to what the media says. It's one of few markets in which properties appreciate rapidly after light rehab. We can talk down on our communities or buy back the block.
• Don't buy real estate because it's the American Dream, buy because it's a source of income. For new investors, don't get overwhelmed and build slowly. Once you gain momentum, you can scale up from there
