Contributor(s): Tony Duffin, Daniel Brombacher, Siria Gastelum, María Alejander Vélez, Héctor Fabio Santos, Miguel Samper, Bo Mathiasen, John Collins | Who are the people most affected by the drugs trade? What are the challenges they face? This film explores the effects illicit economies have on drugs producers and consumers in Colombia, and how new alternative approaches are confronting the damaging legacy of the war on drugs. An initiative of LSE’s International Drug Policy Unit (IDPU), the GIZ Global Partnership on Drugs Policies and Development (GPDPD) and the Global Initiative on Transnational Organized Crime (GITOC), the Drugs and Development Hub brings together actors from various fields to help shape new approaches to drugs and development. In January 2020 we launched the Hub at an event in Colombia hosted by our international partners the Centre for the Study of Security and Drugs (CESED) at the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota.   🔴 For more updates, follow the Hub on Twitter: https://twitter.com/dev_drugs 🔴 More from LSE: Study with us ➡️ http://www.lse.ac.uk/ Facebook ➡️ https://www.facebook.com/lseps/ Instagram ➡️ https://www.instagram.com/londonschoo...
