I used to have crippling anxiety for the first 20 years of my life. Like so many of us, I struggled with mental health issues. I was never comfortable in my own skin and felt like I didn't have anyone to talk to about what was going on. Back in the early 2000's, there wasn't as much awareness around mental health as there is today. I created this podcast to show the real side of myself. Social media allows us to paint a beautiful picture and we are all able to showcase all of our highlight reels & best moments. This is me being vulnerable and this is my true story.
It wasn't until I moved to Santa Barbara, CA that things started changing for the better in my life. I started hanging around with healthy people that practiced yoga, meditation and I started adopting some of these habits. I was very present in my daily life and was on an amazing path of self discovery. In this episode, I talk about 3 main habits that I have implemented that have helped handle & live with my anxiety.
