Theresa spent years working as a writer and editor at various digital media companies prior to rediscovering her passion for audio and podcasts while working at Girlboss. She led the successful reboot of Girlboss Radio with Sophia Amoruso as well as the launch of original branded podcasts and audio projects with Fortune 500 companies. She’s since worked on podcasts with DIVE Studios, National Public Media and other independent creators. Her speciality lies in creating captivating, intimate conversations and branded audio content. In this conversation, Alexandra and Theresa discuss her career journey, as well as her background in journalism at Columbia and the Daily Bruin. They also talk about pitching a new position at a job, highbrow and lowbrow culture in podcasting, and why creating more space for BIPOC and queer podcasters is essential.
