And now that we've done all the housekeeping, let's get into today's episode. The first thing that you have to realize is that everything is energy. From ourselves or Adams to the interactions we have in everyday life, you are constantly exchanging energy with other people. When you're at the grocery store, when you get into a fight with your partner, when you're sitting in traffic, you are

constantly exchanging energy all the time and if you don't learn how to protect that energy if you don't learn how to cleanse your energy then you're going to constantly allow subconsciously without your knowledge other outside sources other people to siphon with your energy and your power and

And then you're going to be leaving yourself wondering why you're feeling drained all the time, why you're always tired, why you always experience fatigue because you're not protecting your energy. And let me tell you that this was my reality for so many years of my life. I was constantly picking up energy and I didn't realize it was because I wasn't protecting my energy. I wasn't protecting my aura. So everywhere I went, I would constantly pick up other people's troubles, pick up other people's emotions. When somebody would treat me or

behave inadequately or talk to me in a mean way, then I would pick that up and I would let that siphon with my energy. And let me tell you that enough is enough. If you are the type of person who is done letting people outside of you siphon with how you feel about yourself, you are done with letting outside circumstances that you can't control siphon with your energy, then this episode is for you. The first technique that I want to teach you for protecting your energy is...

My holy grail, okay? This is the technique that has saved me so much discouragement, so much heartbreak, so much feelings of inadequacy and self-shame. And that is the return to sender.

This is one of the most important things that you need to realize about energy, okay? People, when they think about you, whether it's a positive or negative thing, then they are sending their energy your way. And if your energy is not protected, this is not voodoo, like this is real stuff, okay? The richest, most successful people out there know how to protect their energy.

energy is real energy doesn't lie and if you don't believe in energy then you're going to be a victim of your circumstances for the rest of your life and this is why the return to center technique is incredibly important and I use this basically every single day and that is if I'm ever in a situation where I

feel like someone I'm interacting with is not treating me kindly or let's say you just spend time with someone and you feel like they really drained you or you feel like someone is setting bad intentions your way when they stare at you, whatever it may be, literally in every single situation where you feel like there's just bad energy, bad vibes around you, you need to start practicing the return to center. And that is, I have...

a literal mantra in my brain every single day, every single interaction that I have, if I ever, under any circumstance, feel like somebody is sending negativity in my way, if I feel uneasy around someone, what I tell to myself, to my soul, and to my brain in that moment is,

is that any energy that is not of my own, that is less than love, that is sent my way before it arrives to me, it's literally going to parachute. It's going to turn around, do 180 and return to the center. So you don't pick up any negative energy. It does not come to you. You have a shield of protection before that energy arrives to you.

it turns around, it parachutes back to the person who sent it. This needs to be your mindset in general in life. This is also how you're going to stop being a victim and how you're going to stop letting other people influence how you feel about yourself is doing the return to sender because...

I cannot begin to tell you how many times people in my life from my past tried to send bad energy my way and I had just like that return to sender spiritual protection and it came back to them and their life just went downhill because that's the intention that they tried to send me but I protected my energy and so I sent it back with love

And they reaped what they sowed. And I have a really, really good story to actually parade this and how powerful this is. It's actually a pretty sad story now that I look back at it, but it really shows you how real energy is. So when I was in high school, I think I was a sophomore in high school.

I had taken this really difficult honors chemistry class and I've never been like a science girl. Like, yes, I love neuroscience and all of like the mind stuff. But other than that, I was always like a literature girl. I loved writing. I loved, you know, all of that side. I was more like artsy in a way, not even like, I don't even know why I'm telling you guys this. It's probably not interesting information, but I was just never like big on science in that sense. And so I was like,

And I had really wanted to succeed in that class. Like, remind you, back then, I had no self-worth. I completely depended my grades and my accomplishments for how good I felt about myself. And so I had tried really, really hard to succeed in that class. But it just didn't come easily to me as it did to other students.

And I remember going to my teacher at the time and telling her like how much I want to succeed and I want to put in the work and I want to come in during lunch breaks. And so before probably the three months before the end of the semester, I was going in every single week and I was doing practice exams and I was asking questions and I was doing practice questions and I was really pouring a lot of energy into succeeding in the class. And my teacher really witnessed all of it. And she was there and she saw all of it and she saw the hard work and the

effort and the intention that I put into it. And comes the end of the semester and I take my final exam and I finish the class with an 89.98. 89.98, okay? And where I went to high school, an A was...

basically you could have an A if you had a 90 and you could have an A if you had a 99 and it would still be the same grade. Like they didn't show you the actual number, they just had the letter. And so I could have gone, basically if it's a B, then I could have gone an 80 and I could have gone an 87 and it's still the same grade. But I had an 89.98, which most teachers consider that an A. Come on, 0.02%, it's an A.

And I was sure like after the teacher saw all the hard work I had put in all the intentions and effort that she would round me. And so I had even gone to talk to her and I had told her like, I'm so proud of myself because I got an A and la la la. And then she looks at me and she was basically telling me that

she's not gonna round my grade and I'm not gonna get an A and it's gonna be a B and I remember like what I'm 14 like I started crying because I had put so much effort on it and I was just so discouraged and I felt so disappointed as a student because I just remember thinking like I had put all this hard work the teacher has witnessed it and she doesn't want me to succeed like she didn't want to support me she wanted to tear me down in that moment because she

If you were really a teacher that was for your student, when you saw how hard your student worked and they got that grade, you'd round them up so that you would support them. That's at least my opinion, but don't even get me started on the whole education system. But that was basically the situation. I was crying. I remember I went home to my mom that day and I just felt so disappointed. I also felt so bad about myself. I felt really stupid because I was like, oh, I could have gotten that 90 and I didn't. So it must be my fault. And I was just really internalizing it.

And I remember my mom had told me not to internalize it and that when you sell yourself short with other people and you can't extend a hand of kindness to other people, then it's just going to come back to you because energy can't be created nor destroyed. So if that's the energy that you put out there to other people, it's just going to come back to you. So I had kind of made peace with that. I got to be guys, I'm still successful in life regardless of that be and

And I just had made peace with that. And I just moved on, started my next semester. And then this is really tragic. And this is very, very sad. And I don't take any joy in this. But this is just to show you like, how much energy is real.

Two weeks later, after she didn't run my grade, and I also heard following that situation that she didn't do it to a few students. It wasn't just me. So she had done that situation and that treatment for at least 10 students. Like a lot of these students were experiencing the same thing as me. Two weeks later, she got into a skiing accident, broke her neck, and she couldn't teach for like three months.

And I remember feeling really bad and I still do feel bad because obviously like I would never want anybody to get hurt. But this, ever since that day, I just realized how powerful energy is and how powerful the way we put our energy onto the world matters. And so...

Let me just tell you like moral of the story is that if anybody in your life ever wrongs you, ever sends you negative energy, doesn't have good intentions towards you, that energy is going to come back to them no matter what. And your job is to hold your head high, to not let your crown fall and to keep your intentions clear. Because if you keep your intentions clear regardless,

then the universe can bless you and this is why having the return to sender be part of your practice is so important it's not and this is why i always say return to center with love so that you're not ever sending bad energy anyone back you're just protecting yourself so that if somebody sends bad energy your way it's just going to come back to them it's not yours to take up you're not consuming it you're not letting it siphon your power you're sending it back it's not yours

The second tip that I wanted to share with you, and this really also correlates with the return to sender, and that is before you leave the house is to imagine that you have a white shield or a white bubble of light covering up your entire aura, your entire body, your entire field.

I do this whenever I leave the house. Like the second I leave that door, I cover up my energy with a white bubble of light. Whenever I get in the car, whenever I'm somewhere like with a lot of people, let's say it's concerts where there's like a lot of energy, a lot of exchanges, I always make sure to cover up my energy with a white bubble of light.

light and I actually have a short three minute angel energy meditation that you can download for energy protection that I do every single morning. I'm going to link it down in the episode notes if you guys are interested but this is also a really powerful practice of doing that white bubble of light before you leave the house so that any energy that is less than love it's just unable to enter your field because you've got that protective aura around

The third tip that I wanted to share with you for protecting your energy is the concept of responding versus reacting. Now, I will preface this by saying we are all human. We all have moments where we react from a place of anger, from impulsiveness, from being upset. We really can't control ourselves in that moment. Like our bodies and our nervous system goes into a fight or flight.

But something that I realized over the years, and this is coming from a person that used to be very angry. I used to be a very angry person. I would react all the time. I would constantly get upset and angry and whoosh out reactions to everyone around me. And I had learned over the years just how important it is to learn how to respond from a place of emotional intelligence and of inner power.

This is obviously something that we all as humans continuously work on, but what I have learned is when you give other people your reaction, you give them your power. So you have to ask yourself, is it really worth it or is my piece more important? Sometimes there are moments in life where the anger is important. It's important to express that anger. It's important to express how you feel in that moment and to give the reaction.

But almost 90% of the time, we react to people who really don't deserve a reaction from us. When people treat us badly, when they gossip about us, when they're unkind to us, when they send bad energy your way, you have to ask yourself, are they really worth a reaction?

Because your reaction has consequences. It's a spike in cortisol. It's going to put your body in a stress state. I remember when I was constantly reacting to people in my life, it would really put me in this unhealthy state. I was constantly sick. I never felt good about myself because I was always reacting and giving my power away. Sometimes you have to get yourself to a place where you tell yourself, you know what, my peace is just more important and you're not worth the reaction.

You don't deserve to see me be angry at you. You don't deserve to see me reacting to you. So I'm going to gather my strength, gather my emotions. I'm going to feel them later because I'm all pro you feeling your emotions. But in this moment right now where I'm having a choice between responding and reacting, I'm going to respond from a higher place so that I don't give you my power.

This one is life-changing guys. This one is life-changing because this is probably the most common way that most people give their power in the most way that people siphon with your energy because let me tell you something people are constantly wanting a reaction of you when you give them your reaction they win and

Do not let these types of people win. Keep your cool. Keep yourself centered. Remember who you are and remember that your peace is more important. Now, this is something that we all have to work on. It's not going to be 100%. We're going to be able to respond. But really ask yourself, like, who are some people in my life that are not worth a reaction that I've been giving them the reaction? And how can I take my power back from that?

And the last tip that I wanted to share with you guys for today's episode is to hone down on your spiritual practice because the more that you are connected to your spirituality, the more that you are protected in the physical world. People who are connected to the source, to God, to the universe, to the divine, whatever term you like to call it or resonates with you, people who are connected to their personal growth and their soul are people who are incredibly protected and

I cannot begin to tell you how many times I was protected, redirected, re-guided from situations that could have unfolded so much worse than they did. But because I'm so connected to the universe and my guides and my angels and God, I was led down a higher path. I was protected and I was looked after.

I cannot begin to tell you the more spiritual that you become, the more lucky you become and the more that you notice synchronicities in your life and the more that you notice things working out for you and you being protected from things that other people may not be protected from. But because you are so connected to the universe and God, then you are constantly being redirected towards a higher path.

And so when I, back in the day, when I wasn't as connected to my spirituality and to my source and to my soul, then I would go down the same cycles, the same paths, the same lessons, and I was such a victim. And now because I'm seeing things from such a higher path and I do my meditation and I pray and I practice my gratitude and I connect to my spiritual side all the time,

then I'm able to move through things in a swifter rate. I'm able to see the lessons, to see the patterns, to see the cycles. I'm able to avoid certain things faster because I am more spiritually connected. And therefore, the more that you are spiritually connected, the more that you are protected. And again,

This is why your spirituality is your essence. This is why the more that you connect to your soul and to yourself, the better your physical life is. This is why the most successful people are also the most spiritual people because the more that you connect to your spiritual side, the more that your physical world shifts. So if there's one thing that you can take away from this episode is do not abandon your spirit. Do not abandon your intuition. Do not abandon your connection to God and the universe. Practice your gratitude. Meditate. If you don't have time to meditate five minutes, you need 20 minutes to meditate.

Have time and invest in your spiritual growth, even if it's 10 minutes each day, but connect to the source within you because there is so much outside simulations. There's so much distractions constantly trying to deprive us of our divinity, of our energy. Do not fall for that pit. Remember that you are a soul having a human experience and the more that you connect to your spiritual side,

the more that your energy is protected because the universe wants to protect people who are spiritual because these are people that have raised the consciousness, they raise the energy, they spread more light in the world, they spread more compassion and kindness and the world needs more of that. And so of course you're going to be protected if you are that type of person.

So keep investing in your spiritual growth. Keep investing in your connection to the outside source and to your soul because that's the thing that's also going to keep you grounded and protected throughout your entire life.

So I hope you guys love this episode. Make sure to leave a comment of what you guys thought about this episode. Keep protecting that energy. I'm sending you a big white bubble of light and love. Have a beautiful day and I will see you in the next episode. Beautiful souls, thank you so much for joining me in today's episode. As always, I will talk to you next week. Bye.
