Hello my friends and welcome back to another episode of Claim Your Power Podcast.
In today's episode, we're going to talk about ways that you can start raising your vibration. So I have a list in my handy dandy notebook where I wrote down everything that I do that really helps me lift my spirit back up when I feel myself getting into an overwhelmed, anxious, dark place. This podcast episode is for you because I'm going to go through a list of a bunch of different things that I do and take whatever resonates with you, apply it into your own life. Let's get into it. Number one is practicing gratitude. You have no idea how much practicing gratitude will change your life.
because gratitude is the strongest, highest frequency. And even when you feel sad, even when you're heartbroken and you feel overwhelmed and devastated, there's always things that you can be grateful for. And when you are in that moment in your life, when you're feeling more down, if you use your energy to find the small things, the most mundane things in your life that you're grateful for, that can change the entire course of your day. I mean, there's always something to be thankful for, just your health.
The people around you, the fact that you have fresh air outside, the fact that you have food on your table, clean water, the ability to take a shower, the fact that your body is healthy and optimal and alive. There are so many small things that we take for granted every single day that we can just start being thankful for. So I really, really recommend practicing gratitude as a way to raise your vibration. Second thing I wrote is inspiration.
any form of movement is so, so amazing. And let me tell you why. Because we process emotions through the body, not through the mind. So when we dance, when we practice yoga, when we do Pilates, when we go on a run, we lift some weights, we swim, whatever it is that's like
physical movement, that actually helps us release stagnant energy and raise our vibration back up. It allows us to release dopamine and endorphins and really be in the present moment and it is something so amazing. Like for me, yoga is my go-to. Whenever I feel anxious or overwhelmed and I need to physically feel through that emotion, I practice yoga. It is life-changing and you'll see how much better you feel once you tap into your body and your emotions and you get out of your head.
Number three, spend time in nature. Nature is our biggest healer. And there are a lot of spiritual teachers out there who believe that we as humans were born on this earth, not to strive and chase and constantly seek for things outside of us, but instead to just be part of nature, to just be present, to just slow down and be.
And sometimes when we feel overwhelmed, when our bodies and our nervous system are just overstimulated, it is so important to connect back to nature, to go outside, to breathe the fresh air, to ground our feet outside, to really tap into nature because that's where we come from and that's how also we come home to ourselves. Number four is laughter.
And this one is my go-to whenever I feel overwhelmed and I feel like my vibration needs a boost, I find ways to laugh. So whether it's watching funny memes on TikTok or putting on a funny TV show on Netflix, I look for active ways to laugh.
I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine and makes me feel so good, so amazing and whenever I feel overwhelmed, I just constantly look for ways to laugh and to add more play into my life because that really raises my vibration. Number five, physical touch and hugs and this is one that not a lot of people talk about but
We as humans, we need physical touch. We need it. It's just part of our human nature. And I believe that there was a study that says like for optimal health, we need like eight hugs a day. That might be wrong. So someone fact check me on it. But I know that our bodies and our minds and our hearts physically need hugs every single day from our loved ones. And so when you feel overwhelmed, I encourage you to find some way to experience physical touch with somebody else in your life.
Or if you're alone in that moment, hug yourself, physically hug your body and send yourself love. Give yourself that physical touch because it is so transformational. Number six, unplug from technology. And this is one that is going to be hard for a lot of us, including myself.
Guilty as charged, but disconnecting from technology is so crucial, so crucial to maintaining our positive vibration. Because when we connect to technology, for instance, right when we wake up, we are tapping into so much collective energy. We're tapping into our emails and the news and text messages and social media and everything that's happening all around us, and we're forgetting to fill up our own cup.
And that can really overwhelm us. And sometimes we need to have that cleanse. We need to step back from social media and allow ourselves to be present in the moment. And so I encourage you to have boundaries with your technology when you feel like you need a boost of energy, to allow yourself to unplug, to step back.
It is not selfish to take some time away from social media to decide that maybe on Saturdays or on Sundays, you're not going to go on Instagram or just taking less time to be active on social media. And instead of consuming so much content, instead asking yourself, how can I create more? Because when we tap into the energy of creativity, we add into our energy. When we're constantly consuming, we're depleting of our life force. Number seven, my all-time favorite.
favorite journaling/scripting? This one, I don't even know what else to say about it except that it's the most amazing thing and journaling changed my life and you guys know it because I have even my own Claim Your Power journal which I will link if you guys want to get your own. You guys can buy it and journal with me but it is so amazing. I mean journaling changed my entire life. It has altered my thought patterns. It has taught me so much about myself.
my limiting beliefs, my shadow side, my insecurities, and it is just by far one of my favorite ways to raise my vibration. I try to journal every single morning, but whenever I feel really overwhelmed in life, I make sure that I dedicate time to journal and really take the time to sit with my thoughts and script them and write them on a piece of paper because it is so therapeutic. Next one is drinking water and hydrating. This one,
is so so important and one that sometimes we often forget to do but our bodies are made up of 70% of water and so when we don't hydrate when we don't give our body the water nourishment it needs it depletes our body of energy and so when you feel lethargic and you feel really low I encourage you to add up your h2o intake drink more alchemized water clean water and
and really nourish your body. Number nine is listen to good music. This one is so amazing because music has such an incredible way to change our vibration and maybe you've noticed that sometimes when you listen to really sad songs, that brings your energy down but when you listen to really fun, happy pop music, that can really bring your energy up.
So really become conscious of the type of music that you're consuming. What are you listening to every single day? And then start listening to more music that's empowering for you. I love listening to frequency music. Obviously, I don't do it all the time. When I'm working out, I love to have like some good pop to give me motivation. But when I feel overwhelmed, I love listening to 432 hertz.
It's the miracle tone. It is amazing and it makes me feel so good, so calm and just so peaceful in that moment, which is a lot of the time what our body needs. Number 10 is ask for guidance. You have your own team of light, team of angels, team of guides.
whatever you believe in but you have a team of a higher source and energy out there that is there to guide you but you as a human have free will so it is up to you to ask for their guidance for them to pave the path for you for their help and I ask my team of light for guidance all the time whenever I have problems in my life I have negative thoughts that I want to work through negative emotions I
I invite my team of light and I tell them, team of light, my angels, my guides, I invite you right now in this moment. Please help me get through this. Please light me the way. Please pave me the path. And I genuinely ask for their help. And then they start sending you signs and synchronicities and things start aligning when you ask for help. So don't be afraid to ask for help. Your angels and guides are there to serve you. You have your own unique team of light.
and you can ask for their guidance at any single moment. All you have to do is tap into your heart for a couple of moments, maybe close your eyes and invite them in. It's a lot easier than you think. You don't need to be some crazy psychic or spiritual seer to connect with your spirit guides. You just have to invite them in. Number 11 is sunlight.
Get your vitamin D intake, okay guys? Get some sunlight when you wake up in the morning, when you feel like your energy is low, open your windows and really take up the sun rays. They raise your energy so much. Now I'm not saying go and sit outside for five hours and bake in the sun, but I'm also saying that our bodies need proper sunlight every single day. We're like plants sometimes. We need to photosynthesize. Obviously we're not photosynthesizing, but our body needs the sunlight. We need that energy. We need those rays.
And so allow yourself to receive sunlight every single day, even if it's in the morning at 9 a.m. for like 20 minutes outside. But like really getting that fresh sunlight is so healthy for you. And something that I love to do, I just love to sit outside, close my eyes, and
and meditate while I'm in the sun and it's like a high. It feels so good. You feel like you're just baking but like in the best way possible and that's so much good energy and good light is just being absorbed into your body in that moment. Number 12 is rest and this is something that I know a lot of you guys need to hear but on this part of life, on this side of the world, on Claim Your Power community,
We are not for toxic productivity. We are not for the crazy hustle culture. We are for balance. We are for proper rest. And sometimes what our body needs to nourish itself is rest. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is rest and give your body the balance and the sleep
and the calm energy that it needs. So don't be afraid to take a step back and rest when you need to. You don't need to constantly be working and working and up-leveling and chasing. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is just take a step back. We take one step back, two steps forward. Next one is clean and declutter. This is something that I love to do. Like my Taurus Sun self loves to stay organized.
But I feel like every once in a while, I will have this urge to clean out my whole closet and donate some clothes, clean out my whole apartment, clean my whole room, just redo things. And that urge is necessary because sometimes our material things, our clothes, our surroundings, and our environment...
pick up negative energy and when we declutter and organize that allows us to cleanse it and so really take time out of your day whenever you need it to declutter the space around you to clean it to do your dishes to make your bed to make your closet clean and organized the way you wanted to because it is so valuable and you actually feel like you're cleansing something and
out of you. I don't even know how to explain it but for anyone who knows that like after you haven't touched your closet for like two years and then you do a whole cleaning and you donate a bunch of clothes like you feel so good and cleansed so I highly recommend doing that every couple of months and just every single day making sure that the space that you're in and the environment you're in you're cleansing it maybe even doing some incense or some sage or just cleansing it with your own energy is so so powerful.
Last one is listen to audiobooks and positive affirmations. This is something that I've started to do recently and I've really been loving is listening to audiobooks because then I can listen to powerful wisdom and I don't necessarily have to be like sitting down and reading. I could be doing other things.
and multitasking. So for some of you guys that lead really busy lives, whether you're a student, you have a big job, you're a mom, whatever it is, and you feel like your life is really busy, it's a really great way to multitask while also getting positive wisdom. So the next time you're doing something mundane like the laundry, the dishes, even driving, whatever it is,
I really encourage you to listen to some positive affirmations or to an audiobook that you really like. It really helps you tap into the present, tap into your subconscious mind. It just makes you feel so good overall. I love listening to audiobooks as I fall asleep sometimes. They make me feel so good and I feel like I can take all that wisdom with me into my subconscious mind and my dreams when I sleep and I wake up feeling good and inspired. So I really recommend it.
