Good morning, my friends, and welcome to Monday's mini episode, The Morning Ritual. And as this is the first ever morning ritual, I wanted to kind of talk about the reason that I decided to add this segment to the podcast. And I'm going to be talking about the reason that I decided to add this segment to the

So for me, when I wake up in the morning, something that I've been loving to do in the past couple of months is listen to some inspirational talk on YouTube, like by Dr. Joe Dispenza or by Abraham Hicks or anyone that really inspires me while I'm

I get ready while I do my skincare. I've been loving listening to those inspirational talks just for 5-10 minutes every morning. I feel like it really sets the tone for my day and makes me feel so good, inspired, motivated, empowered. And so I thought, what better way to bring that energy into the

The Morning Ritual Out

So each week, I'm just going to touch base on a topic that I feel like has been really relevant in my life. And I find that when something's really relevant in my life and present in my reality, you guys really connect to that too because it's a collective energy. So every single Monday morning, you guys can tune in to the morning ritual. It's just going to be a quick...

Sisterly bonding time a talk where we're gonna discuss more of like spiritual inspirational concepts that are really gonna leave you Setting the day on such a high ground and on such an inspired note And that's really my intention with the morning ritual is for it to be the foundation and the stepping stone for you to Creating a beautiful day. So without further ado, let's get into today's morning ritual overcoming anxiety

So this is a topic that I feel like has been really prevalent in a lot of our lives recently, just because so much is happening around the world, to our community, online, on social media, and it feels really overwhelming sometimes, and our nervous system is definitely getting a hit sometimes.

from everything that's happening all around us. And for a lot of people, that sense of feeling ungrounded, of feeling overstimulated, of feeling uncertain about certain aspects of your life can induce anxiety.

I am 100% one of those people. In the past two weeks, I've been feeling a lot more anxious than usual. I've been waking up kind of with my chest all tight and I really feel that it has challenged me to practice mindfulness on an even deeper level.

And so today I want to talk to you guys about some things that I would recommend to help you overcome that anxiety that you also may be feeling and really understanding what anxiety is and how you can take it and alchemize it to make a shift in your own life.

So one realization that I had when it came to anxiety, which is often correlated with fears and limiting beliefs, is that my anxiety is actually a portal to parts of myself that are in the shadow, to parts of myself that don't feel seen, that don't feel safe, that don't feel looked after. And when I feel anxiety, it's actually stemming from this idea where

I don't feel grounded, I don't feel safe in my body, and I feel like I'm in this overthinking loop. So the first thing you need to realize that will really help lower your anxiety levels is realize that the feeling of anxiety that you're feeling, it's an emotion. It is not you. You are not your emotions. You are simply the one experiencing them. So just like every other thing that has happened in your life, that maybe at the time, like you went through a breakup,

or you lost a job or you faced some sort of rejection and in that moment it felt like the worst thing in the world and you felt so angry or sad or frustrated, just like that emotion dissipated out of your life and you were able to let go of that emotion, this is the moment where you have to remind yourself that just like right now you are experiencing that anxiety, this exact feeling is not going to last forever. And this is why it is so important to be able to self-soothe yourself.

So I invite you today, this morning, this week, to set the intention that you are going to start reparenting your inner child. Reparenting the part of yourself that doesn't feel safe, that doesn't feel looked after. And the way that you do that is you start a dialogue with yourself. Start talking to your inner child about

girl or the boy inside of you that is feeling hurt or wounded and start talking to your anxiety because your anxiety shows up to send you a message our body and our emotions are always communicating with us but when we try to make everything logical we're missing the sign we're missing the message so try to tune into the feeling into the body and really have that conversation even if it sounds a little bit delulue talk to yourself and ask yourself

Anxiety, what are you here for? What are you trying to tell me? What message are you trying to send me? And how can I help you? How can I assist you anxiety so that you may feel safe in my body, so that I may feel safe to experience this anxiety without letting this whole emotion completely take over me? Because research shows, and there was a Harvard study on this, that it only takes 90 seconds for your body to process an emotion and allow it to dissipate.

But the thing is, so many of us try to process our anxiety and our fears and our emotions through the mind. But really, the way you process emotion is through the body. So today and this week, if you feel like you have a lot of heightened stress or anxiety, I invite you to start processing it through the body and not through the mind.

So when you feel that anxiety kicking in, when you feel that fear, those limiting beliefs, that overthinking, do something that moves your body because that breaks the neuropathway. So take yourself out on a walk. Jump, dance, shake it off, do some yoga.

Do something physical because the physical breaks the barrier of the emotional. When we stay in our heads, when we just go on our phone and scroll and numb our feelings, that doesn't help us. You feel and you process emotions through the body. That's what somatic healing is. And it is so important and it is so powerful.

So today, this is your invitation for the week. When you are experiencing any sort of stress or anxiety today, how can you process that through the body and how can you use that as an opportunity to show up for yourself and your inner child with more love and grace instead of more judgment and shame? So every morning ritual...

I will share with you one quote that will set the stage for the day that you can take this quote, marinate it, and allow that quote to be your compass for the day ahead and the week ahead. So today's quote is, your direction is more important than your speed.

So what does this mean? That slow and steady wins the race. It's not about being the fastest or the most successful or about chasing everything. It's about the intention and the journey itself. So take this quote with you throughout the rest of the day. Allow it to lead you. Allow it to be your compass. Until next Monday, keep your vibrations high. And remember, you have the power to make every morning a stepping stone towards your dream reality. How to have fun anytime, anywhere.
