Good morning, my friends. I hope you're all having an amazing start to your day. Whatever it is you're up to doing right now as you're tuning in, welcome back to Claim Your Power Podcast. Sending you my love and so much good energy as we start off this beautiful Monday morning. And I hope you're all having an amazing start to your day.
In today's episode, I want to talk all about how to have patience and grace for yourself during the seasons in your life where you're experiencing change, transition, uncertainty, or even a little bit of chaos because I think it is so, so important to give yourself that grace
and to have this conversation because so many of us end up in this cycle where we beat ourselves up when we're not always launching forward, when we're not always in the phase of our life that is go, go, go. But there is so much beauty to also the times and seasons of life where we're more restful, when we're more introspective. Nothing
in nature, like think about all the plants, all the flowers, nothing in nature blooms all year round. They all have its season. Sometimes we have certain plants and flowers in the fall. Fall
Some dry out by summer. Some come in in winter and spring. So if you look at nature, you see that nature is cyclical, right? Everything blooms in different seasons. And just like that, we as humans, our souls are also part of nature. And because we are part of nature, our lives are also cyclical.
And it is completely normal and natural and even authentic to say that we have seasons in our lives when we feel more held back or we feel more introspective or we feel like we want to be in hermit mode. Like all of these seasons in life are just as valid because they set the foundation and the stepping stone to us feeling like our best selves.
Rain that we sometimes experience in life, that is the same rain that also ends up strengthening our roots. So if you're in a phase in your life right now where you feel like you don't really know your calling, you're confused, maybe you feel some sort of heartbreak, you feel insecure or devastated about something, or you just feel like you're kind of out of alignment, then you're going to want to
May this episode be a reminder that that's okay too. And that's just as valid and that's part of the duality of being human is having the pain and the sorrow and the happiness and the joy. It's having the amazing opportunities but also the times in our lives where we feel stuck and stagnant because all of those things, the polarity and the duality, that's what makes the essence of the human experience.
Everything in life, there's a cycle. And I want to tell you guys about something I actually learned in yoga school. So while I was getting my 200-hour yoga degree training, we had learned about something called the cycle of life in yogic philosophy, which is basically this idea. And I'm going to share it with you guys because I think once you understand it, it will give you a lot of peace about where you are currently in life.
But it's basically this idea that life is cyclical. We're constantly going through changes and cycles and seasons all the time because that's the nature of life. Healing is not a linear journey and life is not a linear journey. Life is cyclical. And so this idea is we first start off as where we are right now. Where you are right now, the neutrality, everything's going great, da-da-da, neutral.
Then you have a period of transition. There's a challenge, there's a setback, maybe a heartbreak, maybe a rejection. You're just feeling the shadows come out of you. You're feeling anxious, sad, confused. And this is a part of your life where you're feeling like you're thrown off course. You have some sort of setback or obstacle in your way.
As you're going through this, and by the way, this for a lot of people, I'll just give like tangible examples so you understand what that phase could manifest like for you. It could be an ending of a relationship or an ending of a job, an ending of like a cycle, like maybe you just graduated university or you just graduated high school and you like have nowhere to go, an ending of a friendship. It's usually an ending. But as you guys know, new beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.
So that's kind of the first phase after the neutral part of the cycle.
And after the setback, after the transitional phase, comes the integration. This is the moment in your life where you start learning the lessons. You start realizing that maybe this is happening for you, not to you. Maybe there's some divine reason that this thing is throwing you off course, that you're having this change in your life. You don't quite understand it, but you're starting to integrate the experience and you're starting to rise up from it. And then you have your revelation, which is basically the aha moment of, okay, I'm
Everything is a lot clearer. You suddenly get a strike of clarity. You feel stronger, wiser. You've grown from the experience. You allowed this experience and this lesson to elevate your life and evolve your life and not hold you back. That's your period of revelation. And from the period of revelation, you enter a period of new norm where you've taken and assimilated everything that you've been through and you've assimilated it
into your current reality where you are now and you're growing as you go so i'm assuming that most of you guys that will be listening to this episode are maybe people that are in the transitional phase you're experiencing some obstacle some season in your life where you're feeling held back
And here's to say that this is completely, completely valid and it is just part of the journey and of the cycle. But here I am to give you hope and say that this part in the season will not last forever. This season of stagnation is only preparing you for all the good and all the miracles and the blessings that are meant to come in. So instead of, you know, fighting it and resisting it and beating yourself up,
Look at this season in your life as a way to bless yourself and love yourself even more and to show yourself more self-acceptance and self-love during these moments because you will not live in this exact moment that you are in forever and you will get more clarity and you will understand the situation better as time goes on and you just have to believe in that and you have to have hope
That whatever you're going through right now, even if it's a setback, that's okay. Because remember, you're not meant to bloom all year round. Sometimes we have moments and periods of our lives where we need to reflect, where we need to be introspective, where we need to integrate, where we need to assimilate. And those moments are so crucial to the other moments which are the opposite, which are the manifestation and everything coming to fruition and motivation and inspiration and go, go, go.
there needs to be a balance. There's always a balancing of scales in life and just know that wherever you are right now in this exact moment, it is completely, completely valid and natural. So as always, you guys know that I love to end the morning ritual with a positive quote that you can take on for the rest of your day.
So I invite you to take this quote as your intention for today. A time of uncertainty is a time for possibility. Until next Monday, keep your vibrations high and remember that you can use each day and each morning as a stepping stone to building your dream reality.
