Hello and welcome to the Claim Your Power podcast, the ultimate show for all things self-love, spirituality, and personal growth. I'm your host, Kim Peretz. I'm a three-time author, content creator, avid traveler, entrepreneur, and matcha enthusiast. You are at the right place if you're ready to rediscover the love within, align with your purpose, and unleash your highest potential. It's time to claim your power.
Hello, you guys, and welcome back to another episode of Claim Your Power. I have a little confession to make because you guys have no idea where I'm filming this podcast episode right now, okay? I am so dedicated to you guys that I am sitting on the couch right now.
on the floor in my bathroom filming this podcast episode. And let me tell you guys why. I'm staying at my parents' house right now and both my parents are entrepreneurs. My sister's here and she's also working for a startup from home. So basically like my whole family works from home.
And all the rooms are taken, including the office, the bedroom, everyone's taken. But I am so dedicated to filming this podcast episode today that I'm sitting on the floor of my bathroom filming this so that I can have a quiet room to talk to you guys. So just if this doesn't show you guys how much I love you guys and how much I love the podcast,
I don't know what does. I also have some really exciting news for you guys. So I know that you guys have wanted me to create more bonus episodes for the podcast and have a Claim Your Power community on an expanded exclusive version.
And that's exactly what I did, baby. I just started a Patreon for you guys. And by the way, this Patreon community doesn't just have bonus podcast episodes. Like, yes, I'm going to be uploading bonus episodes each month. And those types of episodes, they're going to be even more in-depth, especially like if you're someone who's into entrepreneurship and business and social media. I'm going to share a lot of episodes with you.
on the Patreon about all my secrets, social media and building a soul-based platform, but also just more episodes about my personal life and advice and everything. It's gonna be very multi-dimensional.
And besides that, beyond the fact that there's going to be extra bonus podcast episodes on there every month, there's going to be an energy update every month where I'm basically going to share with you guys all the rituals I've been doing, kind of like how I've been dealing with the energy of the month, some of my own personal advice to you guys. There's going to be a live Oracle deck reading on there where basically I'm going to pick out an Oracle deck through the energy reading and it's going to be included while you guys read that.
I am posting monthly manifestation playlists that you guys can listen to, monthly book recommendations where I don't just like write like, you know, random books names. Like I'm going in depth of books that I love that I really recommend to you guys and I share with you guys why I recommend this book and all of that. And just as time goes on, I'm just gonna expand it more, have more resources on there, more events maybe through the Patreon too. So this is really just the beginning. Like this is the baby step.
And by the way, like, if you guys support me now, like, that is so amazing because I created this community for you guys. And it's just going to grow and evolve alongside with you. And so, and by the way, I do want to mention that it is really, really affordable. Like, we're not talking big numbers. We're talking $7 a month. $7 where you are getting...
massive amounts of resources and it's only going to expand. It's only going to grow and I'm only going to add more to it and really evolve with it. And so it's really an amazing investment that you're going to get so much out of it and just so much more content for me. And not only is that, it's you're investing directly into me, directly into my work, my life, my purpose. And I am so beyond grateful for that.
So if you're someone who's really been into my content, do resonate with my spirit, my soul, my energy, and you want to support me further, this is how you can through my Patreon. So I'm gonna leave the sign up link in the episode notes and maybe you guys can pause this episode right now and sign up so you don't forget.
but it's really an amazing community and it's the best way to honestly support me it would mean the world to me to really be able to create more for you guys because that's really my purpose my purpose is just to help you to empower you to inspire you and i'm going to continue doing that with as many ways and offerings as i can
So I hope that you join me on that Patreon and you can join from anywhere in the world because it's virtual and it's an amazing community and it's only going to expand as we go on. But without further ado, let's dive into today's episode. So in today's episode, I want to share with you guys seven wellness rituals that I've been loving lately.
Basically, these are just some things that I've been doing lately in my life that have inspired me. They've brought more peace, joy, health into my life and they're pretty basic. They're small. They're not hard to do. So you can definitely take these things that I share with you today and start applying them into your own life. Take what resonates, leave the rest that doesn't. Let's get into it.
Number one is bone broth in the morning. I cannot tell you how much drinking one cup of bone broth in the morning has changed my body, my mood, my skin, my cycle, my overall health, especially if you're a woman. Drinking bone broth is just so amazing. And take this advice from someone who used to be vegan. Like I used to be vegan and I was against everything animal products. And
And that led me to a whole eating disorder journey and a health journey. And you guys know all about it because I've shared about it in the podcast before. But now after I've healed so much health issues that I've had and time has passed on and I've realized the power of nutrition and holistic health.
I also realize how powerful bone broth is and I've been doing drinking bone broth for the past month every single morning just like a little cup it's part of my morning ritual completely changed my life okay my skin has never been clearer and not just clear but radiant and glowy I've
feel so good in my body. My immune system feels so strong. I actually feel like really energetic recently. Like I've been doing so much yoga and like hot power yoga, which is something that I usually like physically can't do so many days in a row. And not only that, like I've been
craving power yoga recently. I also feel like my cycle has gotten so much more balanced from it. I've always had like a balanced cycle because I've done so much cycle syncing work on my hormones, but I felt that the bone broth really helped alleviate some like first day symptoms for me and just made me feel really good about my body. Like overall health, 10 out of 10. It's not the best tasting thing, but the benefits that I've gotten out of it are so good that like
it's just so worth it number two is drinking matcha i typically actually don't drink matcha right in the morning because it is still caffeinated and i don't like to get the caffeine first thing in the morning but i do have a little ritual with myself that i drink matcha every single day i mean it's so good for you it's full of so many antioxidants
It boosts your energy, boosts your immune health. It's an amazing, just amazing source of well-being. And it's part, like, I don't know how to explain it. When you drink matcha and coffee, it's like completely different energies. Like me going on a matcha run, it's just high value.
girly, like amazing vibes that I just love making it part of my life. It's like a little wellness ritual. I usually will drink it around 11 or 12 or 10, like around that window of time. Not right when I wake up because I like to get a natural hit of dopamine. I don't need the caffeine right away.
So I definitely recommend getting into matcha and I didn't like it at first when I tried it but after a couple of times I found the way that I like it made. Like I usually drink it with coconut milk or almond milk and some honey in it and wow it's just so good. So even if you don't like matcha I urge you and I encourage you to try it a couple of times because I have gone on
All my friends on the matcha train, some of my friends hated matcha when they first tried it. Then I took them to try it again or I made them matcha and they fell in love with it and now they all drink it. So I'm just saying it's amazing and it's just made me feel good in my body and it's just like a fun little ritual to do. Like even to make it at home, you get a little matcha whip
You get the matcha powder, you get some honey, you make it. There's so many tutorials online on how to make authentic matcha and it's so amazing. I love it so much. Wellness ritual number three is more of an emotional thing that I do and that is I set a daily intentional mantra when I wake up.
And I cannot tell you from a manifestation perspective and just from an emotional spiritual perspective, how much that this like one little thing that I do every morning changes the whole course of my day.

claim your power and if you want to start your own podcast and if you want to change your life in the podcasting world all you have to do is download Spotify for Podcasters and get started so basically what I do is when I wake up it doesn't have to even be right away it could be while I'm doing my skincare in front of the mirror or when I just like remember to do it but I will repeat this one mantra in my mind or I will say it out loud and it is so powerful this is what I tell myself I say
Today is going to be a good day and I am open to guidance from the universe every single step of the way. And I basically invite the universe, source, God, like divine energy, whatever you call it, into my day to guide me, to
pave the path for me to light me the way and this has also really been an amazing little ritual that I do to help me clear the energy of yesterday especially if you have a day where you go to sleep not feeling the best you didn't have the best day before this is just like an amazing little mantra that you can tell yourself to set your day on the right foot on the right heading and
to really set new energy for yourself because every day is a new opportunity when the sun goes down and the sun comes up that's a new opportunity a new day a new horizon new energy and it's so amazing and so powerful to set intentions when you move in life with intentions everything shifts the reason so many people live miserable lives is because they're so unconscious everything about their life is unconscious they're not
conscious of their words, their thoughts, their emotions, their relationship. But the difference is when you start becoming intentional in your life, you just start seeing so many things shift because you start actually putting out and being the type of energy that you want to attract. Wellness ritual number four is cooking myself at least one homemade meal per day. Especially if you're someone who's a student or you work like a nine to five office job so you're not home all day.
And so you buy food a lot out, which is also like me because I'm also a student and I tend to like buy food out sometimes. I just have noticed like physically I feel so good and my brain feels so much clearer and I just feel so much more creative and inspired when I nourish my body with home cooked meals and whole foods.
Because those are the days that I know exactly what I'm putting in my body. I know exactly what nutrients I'm consuming. And that makes me feel so fucking good. Like when I cook myself a meal, I don't know how to explain it. It just feels like you accomplished like one little baby step that's so crucial for your well-being. And it's like a big win for me. Like when I can cook myself at least one meal a day in my home, it's a big win. It makes me feel so good. And I really enjoy it. And it's something that I've really been prioritizing lately.
lately in my life because I used to be someone who loved to eat out because it was easy and convenient.
But what I realized over time is that having good health is not about having like a band-aid solution to everything and having everything convenient. It's about taking the conscious steps and habits to maintaining good health. And it really comes down to the basics and cooking yourself a homemade meal is just one of those basics that so many of us need. It's also way cheaper. Like if you're looking at a financial perspective, not that I'm like in a scarcity mindset, but if you're just looking at it from a
financial perspective, feeding yourself home cooked meals is so much cheaper than ordering from Uber Eats or Grubhub and just going out at a restaurant. And as much as that's fun to like order and it's convenient, the end of the day, you don't know how that restaurant is cooking its meal. You don't know what ingredients they're using, what ingredients
vegetable oils, cane sugar, like you don't know what shit they're putting in your food. And so when you cook your own meal, you're conscious of your well-being and your health. And that's so amazing. And that when I started doing that, I also started to crave more amazing, good nourishing foods. And I started wanting to cook more at home because it just makes me feel good. So it's not about being black or white, obviously.
I'll have moments where I go out to restaurants with my friends and I splurge and I order and I eat and I have that fun. But just like making it a conscious habit, even if it's just making myself like breakfast every single morning or like a healthy snack that makes me feel good. But I know that I'm the one crafting it and creating it and cooking it.
Changed my life wellness tip number five is a really basic one that I don't really have to go too much into But it's taking magnesium before bed I mean there is so much research on this that so many headaches and just Insomnia and so many other problems with sleeping and just feeling good in your body Actually stem from a lack of magnesium and I just started to take magnesium Every single night right before I go to bed like around the hour before I go to sleep and
I sleep like a baby guys. Okay. I sleep so good. I don't have nightmares. I sleep so good. I wake up feeling so refreshed. My brain is clear. I feel creative and it just makes me feel really good. It's like one of those wellness rituals that I really recommend to everyone. Um,
If you do feel like you already take magnesium, maybe get your blood work tested. Because again, guys, I'm not a doctor. I'm just like speaking from my own experience. But just taking like magnesium before bed or like on a flight makes me feel so good. It's like my little wellness ritual, part of my night routine. And it has really improved my sleep and my cognitive thinking.

I'm here for you to inspire, empower you, and hold space for you. So if a part of you is saying, yes, I'm meant to do this, I'm meant to work with her, I'm
then go ahead and click the link in the episode notes and book your call with me. And I can't wait to help you, to hold space for you, and to get to know you on a deeper level. So without further ado, let's get back into today's episode. Wellness tip number six is this little thing that I've been practicing with myself. This is another like emotional wellness tip that I have for you guys that has changed the game for me when it comes to
to resisting my life and instead of being in that resistance state to creating the life of my desires. And that is instead, it's like the smallest thing that you can start doing in your day-to-day life, but that is instead of saying I have to, like I have to go to work, I have to go to school, I have to get this project done, I have to go see this person, you have to start telling yourself I get to. Because at the end of the day, everything in life comes down to choice.
Not saying that your certain choices don't have consequences. Maybe if you decide, oh, today I'm not going to go to work, that has repercussions and consequences. But if you start claiming your power back from every single thing in your life and every single experience and every single person, you'll realize you're never a victim and you're always making a conscious choice because you are a co-creator.
You get to go to work. You get to go to school. You get to see that friend. You get to work on that project. You get to do the homework. You get to do things. It is your choice. And when you start taking your power back of I get to instead of I have to, it changes your entire mindset and your entire mental health and well-being. Wellness tip number seven, save the best for last, is having a resting happy face.
So I'm sure you guys have heard of this idea of having a resting bitch face. Maybe you've been told you have one. Well, I'm here to change the game of well-being and I'm here to tell you that having a resting happy face will change your life. The honest truth is, is the world needs more love.
And so many people are fighting battles behind the scenes that others don't even know about. And so having those little decisions that you're going to start having a resting happy face. And when you see someone on the street, you're going to smile at them, even if they don't smile back at you because you don't give to receive. You give just for the sake of giving.
So you just start having a resting happy face when you're in the elevator with someone, when you're sitting at a desk, when you're working, when you're studying, like whatever it may be that you're doing in your day to day, how can you have more of a resting happy face? How can you have this energy that is more open and approachable instead of closed off and neglecting? Because when you decide that you're going to start having a resting happy face, I swear you start attracting so much good into your life. Like you become a magnet to good people, to good experiences, to gifts from the universe,
from surprises to magic to just good luck because you're radiating such good energy outwards and people get gravitated towards that. And life is gravitated towards that type of energy. And so have that resting happy face. Walk around with a little smirk.
Act like you just won the fucking lottery. Walk around as if you just got the best news, as if you're in love, as if you make a shit ton of money. Whatever it is that you have a goal for yourself right now, walk around as if you already have that thing and have that little smirk.
and have that little resting happy face because when you do, you become a super attractor to everything that's truly meant for you and all the good things that you're already so worthy of. And I love this. I just think this is the best wellness tip ever. Like they can tell you to take your supplements, take your vitamins, to do all those things. But at the end of the day, if we don't do the emotional changes, we can't make external changes.
Your mind literally is unable to be angry and grateful at the same time. So if you have that resting happy face and you're grateful and you have a pimp in your spirit, you can't be angry. And when you're not angry and you have this open energy to life, life begins to bless you back. Beautiful souls, thank you so much for joining me in today's episode. As always, I will talk to you next week. Bye!
