I have, was able to get her booked on her busy schedule. Um, welcome back, Chloe. Yeah, I've been doing a lot of playing Roblox, so that's my work. That's your work. you brought me from my work to do this? Yes, I brought you from your work to do this. We've got, They fired me now. Well,

I'm sorry. Plus they play an hour a day, but I guess they only let me play five minutes. It's fun. It's fun. So people really wanted an update from you. What update? On life. Life's fun. Life's fun? Yeah. You live a pretty good life, don't you? Yeah, I do. Well, obviously people wanted to know how Chloe was handling the appeal update.

What's that? Remember what we talked about in therapy with Miss Tori? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So why don't you explain to people how when it happened, you didn't really know and then you heard people talking and then it went until we went to therapy that we explained it. Okay, so people were talking about Nanny Pam said something about mom could come home in 30 days and I was like, that's probably not.

And then nobody told me until I went to therapy. And then my therapist said she might come home earlier. Yes. And how did that, how did it make you feel? Good. Good. How did it make you feel? Cause this was a learning curve for me guys was I wasn't sure if

There's so much going on and obviously I'm the sole person that deals with all the legal stuff. And so obviously I didn't sit down and tell you because I didn't know. Because I was doing my work. Yeah. Like I didn't know what to tell you or how to tell you. But really that just made you kind of feel bad because I didn't tell you what was going on. Yeah. Yeah. I was mad at you for a minute, but it was fine. You were mad at me for a minute? Yeah, but it's fine.

And then when we went to therapy and we talked about it, you, what do we say? Like, we don't want to get your hopes up. Because it might not happen. So we don't want to get my hopes up about it. Yeah. There's a good chance it could happen. No, she has this one. That one looks empty. No. Okay. It's not.

Savannah, hindsight wise, would you have done something different? Because I know what you were trying to do because you talked to me about it before and you're like, I don't want to get her hopes up. But would you have sat in with a therapist earlier and told her all the possible options? What would you have done different? I feel like it's an impossible situation because you don't like I don't want to tell you things and you get your hopes up and then you look forward to something and it doesn't happen and then you get sad. So I feel like maybe I should have.

And granted, we went to therapy probably, what, four days after this information came out. So it wasn't like I was sitting on it for a while. But also kids are very insightful and very intelligent and listen, especially the one I have to the left of me right here. She listens to everything. I'm not nosy. You are very nosy. At least I don't tell anybody. Yeah, you are. You're a good, you're a little nosy.

You're right or that, but kids hear more than you think that they hear. Um, and so I do feel bad about not telling her sooner because obviously kids sit and they just think about things and may not communicate that. Like when you heard nanny Pam say that, was that all that you were thinking about? Yes. Yeah. And what in your mind were you thinking? I don't know. You don't know? No. Okay. Okay.

When we went to therapy, did that... A lot of people say... A lot of people don't believe in therapy. People need therapy. Yeah. A lot of people do not believe in therapy because they think if they go to therapy, then that's them saying that something's wrong with them or...

No, there's nothing wrong with me. Exactly. And like, what's your viewpoints on therapy? It helps me a lot. It does? Yeah. Like, what would you say it's helped you with the most? Mom and dad. Mom and dad? Uh-huh. What would you say to parents that...

are afraid of taking their kids to therapy. Take them to therapy. They need therapy. Take them to therapy. Yes. Because it helps you. I will say because of therapy, I think you, you can communicate how you feel better. Like if something upsets you or something makes you happy or something, you can actually say it. Yeah. Cause therapy has helped you to learn that.

I recommend my therapist to everybody. You recommend your therapist to everybody? Yes. Yeah, she's pretty awesome. People have asked, do you go and visit mom and dad? Yeah. It's not that hard to find out. You go and visit mom and dad. And how does it make you feel when you go and visit them? Good. Some people don't get to visit their parents sometimes. Yeah. My friend, remember what happened to her dad? Yeah. Yeah.

See, they didn't get this in. Yeah. Ah, the sizzle of McDonald's sausage. It's enough to make you crave your favorite breakfasts.

Enough to head over to McDonald's. Enough to make you really wish this commercial were scratch and sniff. And if you're a sausage person, now get two satisfyingly savory sausage McGriddles, sausage biscuits, or sausage burritos for just $3.33. Or mix and match. Price and participation may vary. a really good thing, right? - Yeah. - And does it make you feel, 'cause Grayson has said, that's why people compare the two. Grayson has said that it makes him feel sad after going and visiting them. - Why? - He just gets in a different head space. But for you. - I feel like a normal human. - You feel like a normal human? - Yeah. - Because like, how does it make you feel when you go see them?

Happy. Happy. And do you ever feel more than one thing at once, Chloe? Do you ever feel like happy and kind of sad when you go see him? Do you ever feel like two emotions at the same time? No, just happy. That's good. Yeah. Like she is always so happy when we go and visit mom and dad, because I think it like, cause you miss them. And so when we go and see them, it kind of gives you your, you know, your fix, um,

of, you know, getting to hug them and hold their hand and talk and laugh. And in your mind, how do you see life looking if mom comes home? Good. But like, what do you see? You're like, how do you see your everyday life looking? Like people have asked, like if mom comes home, if I'm going to leave. No, don't leave. You're going to take the escalade with you. No. No.

No, but that's what people have asked. Like, am I just going to leave? No, they're going to help. Yeah. Right. Because I've said we're all just going to live together. So mom's even said she wants me to stay. And so you as much as like, let's try to make things really weird. Like adults try to make things really weird. Wouldn't you say?

What? Like adults try to make situations really weird. Like adults try to make a big situation out of nothing really. Oh yeah. Adults are just weird sometimes. Yeah. And so like people have said, oh, well then Savannah will just leave when Julie comes home. No. No. Because we are used to our life, right? Like after almost two years, we...

I mean, come on. Do you really think anyone is going to like the corner pub and cheeseburgers and queso like you and me?

That's like our thing, right? Yes. We invented that. We invented that. So we have our things that we like to do. So it's just going to kind of be like we're all back together again when that happens because it's happened. And we have to give mom the cheeseburger with queso on it. Oh, yeah. We'll have to give her the cheeseburger and queso. And so you're very, you understand everything that's going on right now. Yeah. That mom could potentially come home sooner. Yeah.

And dad, it's going to take a little while longer. But you knew that. We talked about it in therapy. That there's other avenues that we're taking to get dad home. Right? Avenue? Yeah, like other routes. Like there's other decisions that I have to make and other people I have to talk to in order to get dad home. Okay. So that's where we're at with that. The dreaded question that so many people ask. What is it? You know what it is. When it comes to...

Chloe's mom and dad. Oh my God. You're that's exhausting, isn't it? Yes. Yes. Very much so. Because people automatically look at you and they're like, Oh, who's your mom and dad?

And what's your answer? What do you think it is? What's your answer? Julie and Todd. Exactly. And that's the thing is ever since you were a baby, you knew like mom and dad were always open and honest with you about like, this is the man and the woman that had you, right? Like, you know who those people are, but you chose for your mom to be Julie and for your dad to

to be Todd right exactly and why is that because they're my parents do they make you feel loved yes and safe yes and do they make you laugh yeah a lot so I think that's a big thing what would you say to kids that they're when what would you say to kids whose families look different

What do you mean? Like whose family, because mom and dad didn't have you, but they are your mom and dad because they love you like mom and dad should love you. Right. So what would you say to kids that maybe struggle with feeling like they're different? Everybody's different. Yeah. Everyone's different and everyone has a different story, right? Yeah.

I think it's, I think the one thing that you learned is that family is the people that love you, right? And the people that show up for you and take care of you and love on you, right? Like the other night. Like the other night?

No. You should have taken a video of me dancing in your room the other night. I know. The other night we had a dance party. Me and Grayson did. Then we went to Savannah's room with a speaker. Yeah. And she was on the phone and we didn't know, but we threw a party in her room anyway. Yes, they did. And that's like our little family unit, right? Like we love it. And that's where we feel safe and comfortable and happy.

Thank God for y'all because you make me laugh a lot. You make me laugh a lot. No Chick-fil-A sauce. Do that again. Say it out loud. No Chick-fil-A sauce. That's amazing. Why don't you tell people what you wanted to be for career day? Kevin Hart. Kevin Hart. Most people wanted to be what? A doctor, a lawyer. Teacher. Oh, yeah. A dentist. What happened to Tiffany Haddish?

I thought Tiffany Haddish was your girl. No. Well, she wants to be Kevin Hart. She says, like, the female version. He's the best. Yeah. If the Chick-fil-A sauce girl is watching this, please text me. I mean, by the Chick-fil-A girl. Do it. She got fired. She got fired? For doing the TikTok while she was working. Oh, no. What did she do? No Chick-fil-A sauce. And lemonade, all right? No Chick-fil-A sauce.

It's something that I just thought of that we've never talked about. And I have a photo of it. What is it? But do you remember on like your chosen day? What's your adoption day? Yeah. Do you remember that? Yeah. Wasn't that you almost cried. You literally had tears in your eyes that day. You remember that?

- Dad was crying a lot. - Yeah, dad was crying a lot. Why don't you tell people about that day? - It was a good day. - It was a good day? - Yeah. - What did we do? - I was scared to go eat breakfast because I thought I would be late for school and I was too scared. - You had to go to school after? - Yeah, but then I was like, I should go 'cause I haven't eaten breakfast, but then I should go to school.

Because I need to do my schoolwork. But we didn't even do anything that day because it was a pajama day. Oh, it was. It was a pajama day. I brought a onesie and I put my clothes underneath as a dress. So I had to go change in the bathroom. What on that day when it was your adoption day? What?

I remember you were like so happy and dad was just sobbing. And you remember that like you were sitting in mom's lap? Yes. What was it exciting? Yes. It was exciting. The best day ever. The best day ever? Yes. Yeah.

- I love that. That makes me so happy. I will never forget that day. I have the photos. - You never sent me the photos. - Oh, you want to see them? - Yeah. - That was the, oh my gosh. - I have an album of you of like really bad pictures. - You and Grayson. Grayson has- - Grayson has the worst pictures overall. - Literally, Grayson has the photos of

photo of you at like 10 o'clock in the morning opening Chick-fil-A. It was like a Saturday and you were eating Chick-fil-A. Sounds about right. And your hair was all over the place. Sounds about right. Y'all, Grayson has a whole album of me just eating. Literally, just me eating. I guess it's a Big Back album. Big Back album. Jeez. I have a lot of you eating hot dogs from like hot dog stands. Yep.

Could you airdrop those to me as well so I can include them in the show, please? I also have a picture of you in the morning fixing bacon. And then I have one from New Year's. I have one from Christmas. You have a lot of bad photos of you. Bad photos of me. Thank you, guys. You're so sweet. I absolutely love you. I have one good photo, and it was from two days ago.

That's the best photo I have on my camera, Savannah. Oh my gosh. All right, I've got to find this photo. It's going to... You can keep looking. Chloe, tell us a story while she's looking for that photo. What story? Tell us about Tyler twerking the other night. Oh my gosh. We went in the Starbucks yesterday and Savannah wanted me to do this dance and Tyler goes, hey, I'll do it with you. And we did it. And then at the end, Tyler just started twerking. Was it good? Yeah.

Is he good twerking? Oh my gosh, Aaron. No. No? He's not. Okay. Oh, here it is. Right here. Lemonade, all right? Look. I love that photo. Show the camera too. Look. This is your camera? Yeah. Over here. It's your first time on TV. There we go. This is her adoption day. That was with the judge, mom, dad, and

And Savannah looking fashionable and every seat. Okay. Anyway, looking fashionable in my suit. That was such a good day. That's why. Cause people come at me all the time. You and all kinds of crazy stuff. And I'm like, people leave us alone. Like she is adopted. She is my sister, right? Yeah. People be like, Oh my,

They'll tell you. She's not my sister. Why am I living with her? Like exactly. Yeah. That was just a dumb question. Would you, are you happy that you're living with me? Yes. Yeah. The night I walked in to go get some cereal at like 12 o'clock and I found Savannah in the refrigerator eating some cookie dough. That's all I found. I should have taken a photo of that. You should have. You should have. We,

We do pretty good, don't we? Yeah. We have a good little team together and we do good. Yeah, we do. We're ready for mom to come home and dad. Yes. Yeah. Why don't you, are you excited for cheerleading this year? I'm nervous about it. You're nervous? Why are you nervous? I feel like I'll mess up during one game. It's okay. I messed up all the time. You mess up and then you just keep going. Oh. That's what part of it is. Like you mess up and you, what? Well, if I've taught you anything, it's to laugh at yourself.

'Cause Lord knows, I laugh at myself a lot. - Yeah, you do. It kinda scares me sometimes, like right now. - I cannot. We also have to like, our relationship's really interesting, 'cause I have to be like a parent to you, but I also am your sister.

So... We fight with each other a lot. Yeah, right? We fight with each other, but we love each other. That's for sure. That's the point of being siblings. You have to fight with them sometimes. Exactly. How do you feel about Grayson going off to college? Stop. How do you feel? Sad. Sad? That's my best friend.

- And he's leaving me. - Y'all's rooms are right across from each other. - He walked in my room last night at like 12 o'clock and I was just chilling in my room watching YouTube. He just walked in my room and opened the door. He was like, "Hi." I was like, "Hi, can you leave now?"

How do you feel about him going to college? Sad. Sad? But he's going to come home. No. Yeah. In four years. No, he's going to come home. He'll come home like during holidays and we'll go see him. Yeah. We'll go visit him. But when, that's been a struggle for you, hasn't it? Yeah, it has. It has. What does it make you feel like? Sad because he's leaving me.

have there been times where you've said it just sucks because everyone leaves yeah I said that one time yeah because you said mom and dad left and now Grayson's leaving I said that during therapy one time I think you did I think so and how does it what does it make you feel sad everybody's leaving me now

How do we turn that sad feeling? Oh wait, well then it's just going to be you and me. I know. It's just going to be you and me, girl.

How do you turn that sad feeling into a happier feeling? When we all hang out together. When we all hang out together? Yeah. But you know, Mom and Dad didn't leave you because they wanted to. They just had to. Yeah. But it doesn't mean they're leaving forever. No. They're coming back. Just for a while. Just for a while. They're coming back, though. Yes. What would you say...

Cause I think you're, you've been, you have handled this so well. Like I am so proud of you because you are the strongest person I know. And you can be such a positive role model for other kids and you can help kids through stuff and,

- I helped my friend through something. - You did? - Yes. - And what does that look like when you help your friends? - Good. - Like you just, do you talk to them and help talk them through things? - Yes. - What do you say? Because obviously you know where mom and dad are, right? - Yes. - Where are they? - In jail. - Okay. So what do you say to like other kids that have parents

In prison. And they don't know how to deal with it. Or other people make them feel bad about it. Don't feel bad about it. Exactly. Right? It's not for that long. What? It's not for that long. Exactly. And you've learned that like things don't always...

Things aren't always as they seem, right? Like you can look on the outside and make a conclusion about someone's life and say, oh, this, this, and this happened. But no one knows until they actually live your life, right? Yeah. So what would you tell people that want to judge other people? Don't judge other people. It's mean. Like, how does it make you feel when you hear bad things being said about mom and dad?

It's not nice. But does it make you feel bad? No. Well, a little bit. Like, does it hurt your feelings? Because you're like, that's my mom and dad. Yes. Exactly. So I think for adults, I think the...

good, something good to take from this is like children are impacted. Children have to, unfortunately you've had to hurt a lot in your life due to things that you didn't do. Right. Yeah. Due to things that other people did. And so as adults, I really think we need to pay more attention to how we talk about people and how we treat people. And even with kids, like

As adults, and I'm even guilty of this, like I have to learn how to love you better and to validate how you feel and let you know that like how you feel is OK and how you feel is normal. And I think that's a big lesson for adults because we don't always get it right. Yeah, we don't always get it right. No. OK, what are we doing tomorrow?

Going to see mom. I am so excited. Me too. It's been a while since you've seen her at Hatnet. Yeah. It's been like a month. Yeah. Yeah. It's been a while. So I'm so excited to see mom tomorrow. And then you start cheerleading camp. And then we start school again. So fun. Exams. Yes. We're so excited. We love school.

I'm so excited. I'm not. I'm not. All right. Well, what do you want to say to the people before we sign off? If this is the home edit, please sponsor me. Clean my room, please. I'm begging you. I am dying. Okay. This is like Chloe has been obsessed on Netflix. I'm just telling you, this is not an ad. This is not sponsored.

Please tell them about the show you're obsessed with. The Home Edit. And tell them about the show. They organized stuff in like rainbow color. And like they organized this woman's pantry one time and they gave her like, she didn't have any shelves or any room for anything. And they gave her like shelves and everything that has room and stuff. Yeah. What'd you say it is when you see that? It's so what? Satisfying.

Say it a little louder. Satisfying. Yeah. Y'all, I literally, after Chloe watched that show, she went and organized my makeup drawers and it's the best organization ever. So she has a love for the home edit. Yes, I do. You do? I do.

Every sandwich has bread. Every burger has a bun. But these warm, golden, smooth steamed buns? These are special. Reserved for the very best. The Filet-O-Fish. And you. You can have them too. For a limited time, the classic Filet-O-Fish you love is joining your McDonald's favorites on the two-for-$3.99 menu. Limited time only. Price and participation may vary. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Single item at regular price. Ba-da-ba-ba-ba.

My Keurig Brewer from Walmart always comes in super clutch. I got it so I can keep grinding on my paper. You know I'm hitting that deadline. I also got it so I can stay up late to do some exam cramming. And of course, you know I'll be ready to stroll into my morning class sipping in style. I guess you could say it's a literal lifesaver. And if so, how many kids do you want to have? Three. Yeah. Three. Yeah. That's my answer. If you could pick which order you had girl, boy, and what would it be? Girl, boy, girl. That's what I was going to do.

actually boy girl i would rather boy girl boy no i want two twin girls and a boy oh wow hate to be specific but yeah hate to be specific but yeah what has been the best day of your life so far my adoption oh good i love that such a good answer i love that best day of my life oh gosh this is harder for you than the reverse isn't it yeah

Oh, boy, Arnie. Best day of my life? To be determined. What? We'll get back to you on that one. We'll get back to you on that one. To be determined. Who was your first crush? Mine was a kid named Daniel. Does he know? Yeah. Yeah, he was my first kiss. I don't know. Mine was back in first grade. Who wasn't? Me and Chloe. Me and Chloe.

No, wait. I think it was in third grade. It was this really short dude. I didn't like him anymore because he was too short. Oh, really? You like Kevin Hart, though? Yeah, but he's a comedian. Fair enough. Fair enough. Yeah. What is the one vacation you'd want to relive? Cayman. Cayman, month of July. What's your favorite movie?

The Home Edit. Oh, wait. That's a show. That's a show. Oh, my gosh. Any movie. Uh-uh. Pick one. Any movie. I think Inside Out. Okay. Guess what mine is. Any movie that has Kevin Costner in it.

- You were like Yellowstone. - Oh yes, oh my gosh. - The new one was like four hours. I got bored. - That Kevin Costner movie, oh my gosh, he is just a dream. - We know how you feel. - Tell her what happened. - Oh my gosh, we went to the bathroom, had to go to the bathroom. Savannah went running to the bathroom, hurried up and used the bathroom and ran back. She was like, "I can't miss Kevin Costner."

Oh, from the movie theater? Yeah. She's crazy. You already knew that though. Speaking of crazy, what's the craziest thing you guys have ever done when you were in a fight? Oh, I had a fight back in like third grade. Like a fight with each other? A fight with each other. Let's see here. Did y'all throw stuff? Push someone in the pool? Nothing like that. Can't talk about it on the air? Can't talk about it. What's your biggest fear?

- Hers is spiders. - Spiders with babies in it. - Oh, I stepped on one of those one time. - We killed one the other night. - In the house and little ones went everywhere. - It's called a wolf spider and they're disgusting. - Yeah. - My biggest fear? - Oh, my biggest fear would probably be dying alone. - Oh. - Oh wow, that took a dark turn. - Yeah. - No, mine isn't actually spiders. Mine's just like snakes and water.

Snakes? Like water snakes? You don't like stuff you can't see. Yeah. Yeah. It freaks me out. Like if you're just swimming in a lake and a water spider just comes and snatches you. That's why the Caymans is better than the Cumberland River. Yeah. We'll take Cayman any day. Because you can actually see what's happening down there. Besides the little fish. All right. I think that's it. Yeah. Thanks for doing that, Chloe. You're welcome. Thank you.

- Appreciate you. You gotta keep us updated on cheerleading. - Yeah, you'll have to keep us updated on life. - All right. So my business is Roblox. Yeah. - Yeah, that's it. That's all you have. All right. Well, are you a happy kid? - Yes. - You're a happy camper? Do I do a good job? - Oh yeah, you do do a good job. - I do a good job? Okay. 'Cause some people say I don't. Yeah.

You know what's so good from Chick-fil-A? What? Like, if you get their fries and you get, like, a milkshake and you dip the fries in the milkshake without the whipped cream, it's so good. Yeah.

Can you do just like a public service announcement to anyone who says that I don't do a good job taking care of you? She does a great job. And whoever says that, you're mean. And don't watch her. Don't watch her podcast if you're going to be mean about it. Thank you. Exactly. Come on, girl. That is my girl. I love you. Y'all need to redo that five. Oh, yeah. We're going to have to redo that. I'd mess that up. That was a good one. There it is.

That was a good one. Thanks for making time for us, Chloe. Yeah, you're so welcome. I just need to get my check below and I'm good.
