His friends were talking and he was listening to them. I saw him from a distance and I noticed that everyone is so expressive. Everyone is talking and connecting with each other. They are showing their feelings. But this is something
I was just standing there watching his friends talking and he was so calm and quiet that I got attracted to him. His body language was so subtle and attractive that I got attracted to him.
Whenever I saw him, I would keep looking at him and ask him what he is doing. Is he saying something? Is he expressing something? I was so curious about all this that I just wanted to keep looking at him the whole day and keep noticing him. He has come to my college campus many times. But he never expressed anything. I used to wish that I would be around him and hear his voice. I would know that he was talking to his friends but nothing. He never spoke to me. He never talked to me about his nature, his behaviour. Nothing. So, gradually, a freshers event was coming. As soon as our freshers event was coming,
The college people were very excited for the first year because it was going to be our first and grandest event. When the Freshers event was going on, I was very ready. And I actually hoped that my crush would come and I would get to see him. I just wanted to see what he would wear and how he would look because Freshers had a dress code.
that you have to wear dresses or formals. So I just wanted to see him. And he's so handsome, right? I had imagined that if he wears a formal suit and anything else, he would look so handsome. So I just expected him to come and I would see him. And I would just keep looking at him, the whole event.
So, there was a stage in front of which all the students were standing. So, I was standing there in front of the stage. Me and my friends were standing there. And suddenly, out of nowhere,
I entered the campus and I couldn't see anybody, I couldn't find anyone. I couldn't find my crush because I couldn't find my own friends. I didn't feel like I should look for him now because I didn't even know that everyone had come. The event didn't even start. So, as soon as it started, I would have started searching for him. Where is he? What is he wearing? How does he look? So, I didn't look for anything about him.
So, when I was standing near the stage during the freshers, and so shockingly, he also stood next to me. Like, I had to find him right here. It was like, something happened and he was standing next to me with his films. And the whole event, he was talking but I still couldn't hear his voice.
We were standing for the whole event and I told my friend that I like this guy a lot. So he said that he will try if I can be his friend. If I can be his friend in his friend group, I will make him your friend. So I was very excited. I was just hoping that at least I want to get to know him. I want to be friends with him. And when he came, I saw him and he was looking so handsome. He was looking so, so, so handsome.
I still remember the sight when I saw him and he was just like so handsome. Then after that when we were standing, I wasn't paying attention to the stage. He was just standing next to me and my eyes were always on him. I was just looking at him.
Then, the whole event on the stage got over. Then, our dance party was about to start. And by then, my friend had taken a friend to be his friend. Like, they started talking. After they started talking, so when the dance started, so
I was me and my friend we were standing at a corner and in between everybody was dancing so I told my friend that you talked to him so what do we do now like how can we take this further so he told me that now the dance party is going on so I don't know where they are standing but let's go let's
find them and we will go and try to dance with them. So maybe our friendship will increase a little more. And I was like, okay, well, we can go and we can try. So we went. We started dancing with them.
And as we were dancing, I could feel him looking at me and even I was looking at him. We were not able to make eye contact because I was very scared to look him in the eyes. And I was dancing. I was looking very pretty, he was looking very handsome. I absolutely loved that moment.
After that, when our dance got over, we got introduced to each other. We exchanged our Instagram IDs, our phone numbers. And that moment was very surreal. I couldn't believe that I was just looking at this girl from afar for so long. Now we can talk.
And I can finally meet him everyday. And as soon as our Freshers' event ended, we had our regular college.
So, at the time of regular college, I used to go to college normally. I used to put zero effort while going to college. But as soon as I got a friendship with him, I started dressing up. I started putting on some makeup. I used to make my hair nice. I used to dress up nicely. I used to wear nice outfits. And then I used to go to college. So, I just wanted him to look at me. I wanted to grab his attention. And I wanted to be like, Hi, look at me.
After he went, I entered the first day college and I just saw him from the front, as soon as I entered through the gate. So he was just walking towards the gate and I was like, wow, again, yes, this is it. Like, you know, it was like everybody was trying to pull us together. And as soon as I entered, he was coming from in front of me. And I saw him and waved at him. And even he waved at me.
After that, he waved at me. Then he went out with his friends and I went to my class.
Then when we broke up, I met him again. I wanted to go and talk but I just waved him from a distance. I was getting awkward. My friend pulled me and said, "Don't think too much. Let's go and talk." I said, "I talked to him." Since then, we have been talking to each other. I love it. This was my first crush story. I had a crush on the speaker.
From Crush to Friends. It was a great time. It was very exciting. For me, I would never forget this. Because every day after going to college, I used to feel so excited. Wow, today I am going to college. I don't know what will happen today. Today, that...
"Will you talk to me today?" You know, like, it was just exciting to see what's going to happen today. Now that we are friends, it was kind of more exciting for me to, you know, kind of take this further. And I was wondering how I can move forward with my friends. That was just amazing.
