Shownotes Transcript

Namaste friends and welcome to Dil Se Dil Tak Vidh Khushi. In the twinkling of the night in Mumbai, Meera was sitting alone in an apartment in the jungle of tall buildings. She was tired after running all day but she was not letting her social media time to sleep. She was scrolling her favorite Facebook group Art and Architecture Lovers.

This group was no less than a friend circle for them, where people connected to art and architecture were given the right to think. Today's evening was a topic of discussion in the group. The soul of cities, the protection of old buildings. Meera's blood was boiling. Being an architect, she was deeply respected by the old dhanchas. She knew that these buildings are not just bricks and stones, but the history of the city.

They posted their opinion without delay. These old buildings are not just bricks and stones, but stories of the past. They remind us of our past and remind us of our roots. Their protection is not only to save the buildings, but also to support our heritage. After a while, a new post came up in the group.

The writer's name was Vikrant. The post had a heading: 'Saving the past, Revealing the future.' What Vikrant wrote in the post touched Meera's heart.

You are absolutely right Meera. These old cities are our heritage. But just saying it won't do. To save them, we need to take a strong step. I am a member of Sanjivani Trust, which works for the protection of old cities. We will have to raise awareness among the youth, take cooperation from the government and gather public support.

Only then will we be able to save these priceless treasures." Reading Vikrant's post, Meera felt that this person was in tune with her thoughts. Her words were full of passion, respect for history, and concern for the future. Meera immediately sent her a friend request. After some time, the request was accepted and a message came in the chat box.

I read your post and it was very nice. Your passion is for the protection of old buildings. We should work together to save old buildings. Maybe we can give the means of thinking. This message was from Vikrant. Meera answered happily. Absolutely, I will be happy.

In the late night chat, Meera told how she protects old buildings and also gives them a new look by adding modern design. Vikrant also told her about the work of her NGO Sanjivani Trust.

Going to schools and colleges to make students aware of the importance of old buildings, to encourage local people for their protection, and to work together with government officials to make a living. Meera was impressed with Vikrant's passion. She felt that by using their similar thinking, she could really do something special.

Although, the conversation was not limited to just old customs and protection. Slowly, the discussion reached cinema, music and travel.

Vikrant found out how much Meera was interested in watching old Hindi movies. Meanwhile, Meera was surprised to learn that Vikrant was crazy about trekking. The night was getting darker, but her words were not about to end. From the latest seasons of Bigg Boss to childhood memories, she spoke openly on every topic.

Suddenly the light went off. The darkness covered Meera's apartment. Nothing was visible except the light of the mobile screen. Meera got a little scared. She didn't like to sit alone in the dark. "What happened Meera? Did the light go off?" Vikrant's message came. Yes, Meera replied with a little fear. Suddenly it got dark here.

After a while, Vikrant sent a funny cat meme. In the meme, a black cat was asking with her big eyes, "Where are the lights?" Meera laughed. She also replied a funny video, in which she was shown how she feels when the light goes off. Slowly, her chatting turned into a funny joke.

Meera told Vikrant that she was afraid of being alone in the dark since childhood. Vikrant tried to explain to her that there is nothing to be afraid of. This is just a matter of time. Then she told her some entertaining stories that were going to be a light in her childhood. Meera was laughing at their stories. She realized how much peace she felt when she talked to Vikrant.

The night was over. It was important for both of them to rest for a while. Meera wished Vikrant good night. Good night, Meera. Vikrant replied, Let's talk tomorrow. Yes, of course. See you tomorrow. Meera replied and closed the chat box.

As soon as the screen of the mobile was turned off, it was dark again in the room. But this time Meera was not scared. Vikrant's laughter and his interesting stories were roaming in her mind. She felt that she had met an interesting person. With whom she was waiting to talk further, she was feeling restless. So this was today's story. We will listen to the next story in the next episode.
