Dr. Daniel Picus arrived home from work on August 11, 1998 to find his wife, Lisha Gayle Picus, murdered. Police had no leads until a $10,000 reward brought forward a man who claimed a fellow inmate, Marcellus Williams, confessed to the murder. Marcellus was convicted of murder and sentenced to death with no physical evidence. Now, 26 years later, Marcellus's fate hangs in the balance of a hearing set for August 21, 2024, just a month before his execution date of September 24, 2024
