Shownotes Transcript

Hey everyone, I'm Charlie Cotton, TMZ podcast host and field reporter, and it's time to take the quiz. This is the quiz. History, pop culture, science, sports, civics. How much do you know? Let's find out.

Five days a week, it's five questions in less than five minutes. We ask people on the streets of New York to play along. Let's see how you do. Question one. What is the top number of a fraction called? The top number of a fraction? Don't know. A numerator.

That's right, it's the numerator. I didn't even know that one. Question two. What scientist gets a shout-out in Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody? I was going to say Bill Nye, the science guy. Galileo.

The answer is Galileo Galilei. Is that how they say it in the song? Alright, how you guys doing so far? Don't worry, let's keep going. On to question three. The statue of Lady Justice is holding what two items? Gosh, this is meant to be easy. A torch? Like some type of wrap or scarf or... I don't know, a sword? An apple?

The correct answers are a sword and a scale. Question four. Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the moon. What is the name of the last person to walk on the moon? I'm feeling really stupid. I don't know. I should know this. I don't know this. Wild guess. James.

So close, but not quite. That would be Harrison Schmidt. Play, share, listen. Question five is next. From the Fox News Podcast Network. I'm Janice Dean, Fox News Senior Meteorologist. Be sure to subscribe to the Janice Dean Podcast at foxnewspodcast.com or wherever you listen to your podcasts. And don't forget to spread the sunshine.

Okay, here it is, the big one, the moment we've all been waiting for, question five. The world breaks everyone, and afterward, many are strong at the broken places. That's a quote from what famed work of literature? Shakespeare? The Bible. I've no idea. Don Quixote? And the answer is A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway.

How'd you do on the quiz? Pretty good? Not so great? Either way, you can always try it again tomorrow. Take the quiz every weekday at thequiz.box. Then come back here to see how you did. I'm Charlie Cotton, and thank you for taking the quiz.
