Nearly half of the teams still alive in the NCAAs are from the SEC. There might be four regions of the NCAA brackets, the East, South, Midwest, and West, but of the 16 teams left in the men's basketball tournament, seven are members of the Southeastern Conference. Number one seats Auburn and Florida. Number two seats Alabama and Tennessee, plus Kentucky, Arkansas, and Ole Miss. Before this tournament, the record for the most schools in the Sweet 16 for one conference had been six.

University of Iowa has found its new men's basketball coach. After Fran McCaffrey was dismissed last month following his 15th season with the Hawkeyes, Iowa is going to hire Iowa City native Ben McCollum, who will leave his job at Drake. McCollum was the Missouri Valley Coach of the Year and semifinalist for Naismith Coach of the Year. He just led the Drake Bulldogs for the first time since 1971 into the second round of the NCAA tournament. Drake was eliminated Saturday by Texas Tech.
Golf. Victor Hovland won the Valspar Championship Sunday by one stroke over Justin Thomas. Tiger Woods made news Sunday. On social media, he shared photos of himself with his new love interest, President Trump's ex-daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, who was married to Donald Trump Jr. Tiger Woods wrote, "'Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side. We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.'"
Woods, who recently ruptured his Achilles tendon, confirmed rumors about his relationship yesterday. Vanessa Trump had been seen at the final round of the Genesis Invitational last month in La Jolla, California, a PGA tournament hosted by Tiger.
