Kaitlin Clark's impact on the WNBA continues to be felt. The Dallas Wings will play their June 27th game against Clark in the Indiana Fever at American Airlines Center, home of the NBA's Mavericks. The arena has a capacity of 20,000 compared to just over 6,000 where the Wings play their home games. It's just the latest move to a larger arena with Clark coming into town. Last month, the Chicago Sky announced that their two home games against the Fever will be played at the United Center, home of the Bulls and Blackhawks.
After being selected with the first pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark took the league by storm, leading Indiana to the playoffs and being named the Rookie of the Year.

In college basketball, Thursday brings with it the first full day of the NCAA tournament. Fans will be treated to a juicy matchup in the West region. Two of the all-time coaching greats, Bill Self and John Calipari, will face off when Arkansas and Kansas play in Providence. Calipari admitted today that coaching against someone he has so much respect for won't be easy. Because both of us are going to try to beat the other guy's brains in. Then after it's over, you're going to feel bad.
12 seconds and then you're going to move on thinking about the next game. The winner between the Razorbacks and the Jayhawks could face Rick Pitino and St. John's over the weekend if the Red Storm can get by Omaha.
Staying in college hoops, the coaching carousel continues to turn. NC State will reportedly have a new leader in the coming days as Will Wade of McNeese State has reached an agreement to become the next head coach of the Wolfpack. According to multiple reports, the hiring is expected to be made official when McNeese's run in the NCAA tournament comes to an end. The Cowboys face Clemson in the first round.
In his two seasons at McNeese, Wade has won 57 games while winning back-to-back regular season and conference tournament titles. You can listen and follow the Fox Sports Podcast at foxsports.com wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Joe Morgan. Get more on the Fox Sports app and foxsports.com.
