One year since New York Yankees ace starting pitcher Garrett Cole missed the first three months of the season because of inflammation in his elbow, the 2023 AL Cy Young winner has reportedly been told he needs Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery. Cole was seeking a second opinion. If he does have the surgery, he would miss the entire upcoming season.
