Minchu threw for 3,300 yards and 15 touchdowns. He's made 37 career NFL starts. Minchu spent the first two seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars before a two-year stint with the Philadelphia Eagles. O'Connell started 10 games for the Raiders last season. The team went 5-5 in those contests.
The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to a one-year contract with two-time All-Pro corner, Stephan Gilmore. The deal is worth up to $10 million. Gilmore spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys. He then underwent off-season surgery to repair a torn labrum.
The 34-year-old Gilmore spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the Buffalo Bulls before a four-year stint with the New England Patriots. He helped the Pats win Super Bowl 53. Gilmore has been selected to five Pro Bowls. He was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.
Flag football will be part of the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Now, there's been speculation NFL players could participate, but U.S. flag football champion Darryl Hush-Dusett pushed back on their potential arrival. In an interview with The Guardian, Dusett said, I think it's disrespectful they just automatically assume they're able to join the Olympic team because of the person that they are.
Doucette added, they didn't help grow this game to get to the Olympics. Give the guys who helped this game get to where it's at their respect.
