Fox Sports Update. NFL rosters continue to change. I'm Jared Max. Good morning. There won't be a confetti-filled celebration in Times Square today, but come 4 p.m. Eastern time, the proverbial ball will drop on a new year in the NFL. The 2025 NFL season begins from a business standpoint today, as new contracts can get signed. Several deals have been made over recent days between free agents finding new teams and other players getting traded. The NFL is a new year for the NFL.

Five-time Pro Bowl defensive end Joey Bosa, who was released by the Chargers after nine seasons, is going to sign with the Buffalo Bills, a one-year deal for $12.6 million. Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who played out last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, is moving on to Baltimore to catch passes from Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens are giving Hopkins a one-year deal worth up to $6 million. The Chiefs are losing safety Justin Reed, who's going to sign with the Saints, a three-year contract for $31.5 million. Wide receiver Demarcus Robinson leaving the Los Angeles Rams after two seasons to sign with the 49ers, a two-year deal for just under $10 million. Defensive end Leonard Floyd leaving San Francisco to sign with the Atlanta Falcons,

A one-year deal for $10 million. Rams wide receiver Puka Nakua changing jersey numbers from 17 to 12. Nakua wore number 12 in college at Washington and BYU. He said he's going to honor his brothers who wore this number when they played sports. Why change now from 17 to 12? Perhaps because the Rams signed six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Devontae Adams, who's worn 17 his whole NFL career. Eczema isn't always obvious, but it's real.

Four more schools won conference championship games Tuesday to advance to the men's NCAA basketball tournament. Gonzaga, UNC Wilmington, Robert Morris, and St. Francis of PA. NBA, league-best Cleveland Cavaliers won a 15th straight game for the second time this season. Came back from 18 points down in the second half, beat the Nets 109-104.
