A major upset in college basketball. Good morning, I'm Jared Fax. In Provo Tuesday, unranked Brigham Young scored a most lopsided win by 34 points over 23rd ranked Kansas, which... Equals the largest margin of defeat for a Kansas team under Bill Self. And for BYU, the largest margin of victory ever against a ranked opponent, 91-57 BYU.

BYU. On ESPN, BYU led Kansas by as many as 38 points. The Cougars picked up their third straight win. Kansas has lost back-to-back games for the first time this season. That's it. Connecticut was down 53-39. And they felt very much like the back-to-back national champs in the final 11 minutes this evening. On Fox Sports 1, unranked UConn closed out Villanova, scoring 27 of the game's final 33 points.

UConn trailed Villanova 34-26 at halftime, won the game 66-59. Second ranked Florida improved its record to 23-3 with an 85-63 blowout win over Oklahoma.

5th ranked Houston won at Arizona State 80-65. 7th ranked Texas A&M lost at number 21 Mississippi State 70-54. 8th ranked Iowa State beat Colorado 79-65. 9th ranked Texas Tech lost at TCU 69-66. Number 11 Wisconsin waxed Illinois 95-74. 14th ranked Michigan State defeated number 13 Purdue 75-66. 16th ranked Marquette mauled Seton Hall 80-56.

The NBA will return from the All-Star break tonight. Only one game on the schedule, the Lakers home against the Hornets. LeBron James, who sat out Sunday's All-Star game because of lingering pains in his ankle and foot, listed questionable to play.
