And with these large weapons and large shields on each of their shields is the same symbol of the knotted effigy with the crown with the horns. And on painted behind him is that same symbol.

As you start to see that there's now, there's torches, all of this, and they don't know this yet, but you are facing this speaker. Is it a humanoid with a bull's head on? Yes. Okay. Yes. They all seem to be humans. The three humans seem to be humanoids just wearing helmets that are shaped like bulls. And this speaker, this mouth of this god or whatever, is wearing an actual dead bull head on his head.

So how does that work? You get one attack, not your normal round attack? It's not a surprise round, but we call it colloquially a surprise round because all of the monsters that you surprise are surprised. And the surprise condition means you can do nothing on your turn except end surprise. So basically I get one attack. You get a free attack. There's a whole turn, but they don't go. That's what a surprise round is.

Yeah, it's basically a status event. It's not a surprise attack where you get advantage. You just get a free turn, basically. Yeah. So he rolled. Oh, shit. Listen, if you look, he rolled. They rolled better initiative than us, but they don't go. So there is this like, RZA!

Yeah.

- Nice. - I have more movement. I do have a bonus action. I will cast Shield of Faith on Toa. - Okay. - A molten orangey shimmery glowing shield appears around Toa. And with that, it is the bard gentleman's turn. - Oh.

Pass the fate to Maia, we'll pass it out. Spine is dead, barb is alive. So the numbers of the monsters don't correspond to the numbers of the monsters. Yeah, I should have done that. That would have been really nice. Toa's right in front of him, he's gonna start attacking. He sees both of those guys dead. He's gonna swing around with his barbed tail. He gets 14, he's gonna miss. Doesn't appear to be his hide.

As the tunnel seems to have no end. Wow. And you feel like you've walked for miles. As the passage that you're walking through is... I'm going to stop everybody. How many hours has it been? It's probably been like two, three hours. Okay. My concern, though I don't believe that this should stop us, is I have a feeling we are going to exit in the city. I turn to our captain.

How, how, roughly how far were we from the city when we entered this, this hatch? We were a few miles per the map. Revali looks at you with this grim sense of acknowledgement and like unsettlement, and unsettlement, whatever, of unease, as he just gives you a nod and he looks at all of you and says, we should keep going. I thought we were trying to get to the city.

We are. We were just not hoping that this secret tunnel that lies in this labyrinth where they're sacrificing people would have a direct link to it, thus confirming our theory that there are people in the city, probably with high power, who are utilizing these to kill people. But that's fine. Let's hope. Yeah. Who built these tunnels? Why are they here? Why are they connected seemingly nowhere? Are there more than one tunnel? I have so many questions. We had no branching off from this main tunnel so far in the last three hours. Yeah.

Let us continue. Let us. And it continues forward until you finally see, you feel the elevation start to rise up. And you walk up higher and higher. And you see up ahead a very faint rim of light around a large rectangular outline of light. Very faint, though.

As you get closer and closer, you realize that the, that it's the back of a hatch. Large metal hatch. Very faint, thin line of light coming around the outside. Can we hear anything on the other side? Make a reception check. Gah!

That's terrible! It's a seven, I don't hear nothing! It's very difficult to hear. You can kind of hear that there is... It seems to be quiet. Well, seems good to me, let's go! Is there any way we can find out what's on the other side of this door using all of your abilities? I can open the door! And I have the ability to enter into the room afterwards. I also have the ability to open the door.

What about before we open the door? I'm just worried about what if there are bad guys around the other side of this door? Well, I mean, you know, I might be able to...

Open the door? Yeah, I think we should lift it a little bit, have somebody peek under and see what they see on the other side. That way we're not making a shit ton of noise, but it's a little bit of noise. I think the second we even touch this door and start to open it, we're going to alert everybody on the other side. I say we just open it and be ready to fight. I'm with you. There's really no other way around this. You don't know what's happening around this door. We have a kid and we have a child with us. I'm going to stand at the back.

And as you step inside, you hear the sound of voices and footsteps and like the rattling of carts and the light from outside.

and Revali kind of looks at all of you and he looks around, this is stable, he walks forward and there's this little side door, you see that there's a large double barn door and there's just a wooden side door, then he just grabs the handle and opens and as the door swings open you see a bustling city street of Zentra and that is where we're on the session.

As we do that, Iris will look down at the baby and she'll go, well, welcome to Zentra, Thomas. And she'll hold him close to her heart. Very nice. I thought we agreed that Lorenzo was going to be the name. She completely ignores you and walks out. And that's where we'll end that. Wow.

That was really awesome. Holy crap. We made it. That felt like some old school D&D with the fucking map and shit. Yeah. This is the first time in a really long time that we've had like an actual dungeon since like old school crime. Yeah, exactly. Like I'm saying it's been a long time. I feel like even for crime that we haven't like dungeon crawled. Yeah.
