Before I came to Shanghai, I had been to some other cities. I studied in Chengdu for 4 years, afterwards, I went to Seoul to pursue my further education for another 4 years. 1 afterwards 以后，后来When I finished school in Seoul, I did not think I would come to Shanghai. I determined to find a job in Seoul and to work for 2 or 3 years. At that time, I loved Seoul very much and I was willing to start my career there.2 determine 决定，下决心3 be willing to 愿意做某事However, life is like a box of chocolates: you never know what you are going to get. As a result of rounds of interviews, I got an offer from a well-known Korean company, which had an overseas base in Shanghai. I took the offer finally and was posted in Shanghai. I would be thankful to that offer sending me here in Shanghai. Because after 5 years living, Shanghai is a better city than Seoul.4 as a result 结果，最终I have always been striving for a life of quality and excellence. I work hard to get promoted, to earn more, to make my every day count. I got my hukou in Shanghai 3 years ago, allowing me to become a new citizen of Shanghai, and Shanghai is my second hometown. 5 strive 努力I am not sure if I will be able to afford an apartment in Shanghai as the housing price is unbelievably high, but maybe I will get married in Shanghai, and also have my own children here. 6 afford 承担得起；担负得起I don’t know if one day I will leave this city, as life is long and I am still young. I am willing to experience more in other cities, in other countries. However, coming to Shanghai was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. It’s nice meeting you in Shanghai. My dear friends.我来上海之前，去过其它城市。我在成都学习了四年，之后，又去了首尔研读四年。当我在首尔的学习结束时，我并没有想过要来上海。当时我决定在首尔找份工作，做两到三年。在那时，我很喜欢首尔，而且也愿意在那里开始我的职业生涯。可是，生活就像一盒巧克力：你永远不知道接下来会发生什么。在多轮面试后，我拿到了一家有名的韩国公司的录用信，这家公司在上海有一家分部。就这样，我来到了上海。如今想来，我很感谢那封录用信把我派到了上海。因为在五年后，我发现上海比首尔好。我一直很努力，为了能过上有质量的生活。我努力工作得到了升职，加薪，我努力让自己的每一天都有价值。三年前，我拿到了上海户口，成了新上海人。如今，上海是我的第二故乡。我不确定是否能在上海买得起一套房子，上海的房价实在是高得离谱。或许我会在上海结婚生子吧。我不知道有一天自己是否会离开这座城市，毕竟生命很长，我还年轻。我愿意去其它城市其它国家，看看，走走，经历更多。但是，来上海是我一生中做过最正确的决定之一。很高兴在上海遇见你，我的朋友们。
