Living near Vancouver, Gertrude Guerin spent her adult life helping the Indigenous Peoples of the city. From founding Indigenous organizations, to creating serving as chief of her First Nation, to helping launch a landmark land claims case, Gertrude had a huge impact on the Lower Mainland area and Canada.
