EP67: The Lululemon Massacre

On the morning of Saturday, March 2012, in Bethesda, Maryland, law enforcement encountered a scene straight out of a horror film when they entered the Lululemon athletic store in town. Inside this upscale, trendy store, bloodstains smeared the floor, merchandise lay scattered, mannequins were toppled, and a semiconscious young woman with a bloody face had her wrists and ankles bound with zip ties. In the back hallway, they found another young woman, her skull smashed in and her spine severed. The scene was a sickening tableau of violence, immediately suggesting a brutal attack by multiple perpetrators. However, identifying the people/person responsible for this horrific crime was not as straightforward as it initially seemed. And absolutely no one could have possibly guessed the despicable culprit behind this shocking, merciless crime or grasped how truly disturbing and tragic the heartbreaking incident was.
