Hi, I'm Jessica Porter and welcome to Sleep Magic, my brand new podcast that harnesses the power of relaxation and hypnosis to help you fall asleep easily every night. I've been a hypnotherapist since 1999 and I've helped a lot of people who wrestle with sleep issues. So on Sleep Magic, I'm going to be using my techniques to make suggestions that help you to make friends with sleep again.

But we are going to aim at sleep directly because that doesn't work very well. You've probably tried to make yourself sleep several times and, well, that's what got you here. Sleep isn't a skill you can learn. It's a state you allow. But you can learn how to relax. Relaxing is a skill that you will develop by joining me each week, taking yourself deeper and deeper every night. And the nice thing about relaxation? It lives right next door to sleep.

As well as helping you drift off into a deep sleep, I'm also going to spend some time talking to you about all the different things that go into being, well, human. From releasing anxieties to building self-love, we're going to take a deep dive into how we can improve our relationship with ourselves, as well as with our sleep, one night at a time.
