I'm going to keep it short tonight because I have lots to say about tonight's topic. So tonight, manifesting while you sleep. Manifesting is big these days, but the truth is, as long as we've been human, we've been manifesting. It's what we do. We are naturally creative and we always imagine our lives before we live them.
Whether we visualize or simply feel a new reality, lean into it or know it, it is entirely human to forge a path with the subconscious mind into our future. It may seem like a kind of magic, but it's as old as life itself. What do you keep thinking about? What pops into your imagination, unbidden?
What feels right and deeply aligned with your heart and your gut? Remember, we magnetize what we need in order to grow. This isn't some parlor game where we just snap our fingers and command the universe to do our bidding. I think it's actually the other way around. Nature works through us. Second, make it plausible.
The more realistic the goal, the more chance you have of creating it and the more little successes you will accrue. And those successes will build more confidence and more manifesting. Let's take a tip from the golf pros. The average golf pro makes a 10-foot putt about 40% of the time. And that's pretty good. I mean, certainly better than I could do.
But that same golf pro makes a three-foot putt about 99% of the time. So the closer we are to our goal, the better our chances of making it. Now, I'm not trying to take the wind out of your manifestation sails, but it simply makes logical sense. And yes, we live in a world of coincidence, serendipity, and even magic. I'm not trying to squash that. But no one goes from their first acting class straight to the Academy Awards.
As individuals living through human bodies, day by day, life is unfolding through us. And it is this delicious unfolding in which we learn and grow and gain wisdom and compassion and yes, manifest amazing things, create amazing things. That's the best part, is being in the process. Third, feeling good.
By imagining what we want, leaning into it, and feeling good feelings about it. We shift our own energy. As woo-woo as it sounds, we put out an electromagnetic field. And when we feel good, we strengthen that field. We raise our vibe, so to speak. And that's where the manifestation magic does start to happen. So feel good.
in any way you can, about as many things as you can. Now, I'm not suggesting you deny your deeper or conflicted feelings. We need to feel them too and process them, sometimes with help. But when you're ready, gently get back to feeling good. Make it a habit, a lifelong practice to cultivate positive feelings. You won't regret it. So let's focus tonight on creating or attracting or manifesting feelings
the next things you want, your next cutting edge, your next horizon. So get yourself into a safe and comfortable position and let's begin. Allow your eyes to close easily and gently. And bring your awareness to your breathing. Just for a moment, we bring the awareness to the breath. Because by bringing your awareness to your breath, you are pulling it away from all the other things in the world. Bringing it home
to your body, home to your breath. Good. Now I'd like you to bring your awareness up into your eyelids and imagine that your eyelids are feeling heavy. Just allow a feeling of heaviness to take over your eyelids, that they're getting heavy and droopy and sleepy. And now I'd like you to accept the suggestion that your eyelids are in fact so heavy that they will not open. And this is just a game that we're playing, just playing pretend.
And now I'd like you to test your eyelids to make sure they will not open. And this is wiggling your eyebrows while your eyes remain shut. Just a stupid little game. Faking yourself out. Good. You can stop the wiggling now. Now this relaxation that you have around your eyes is the same wonderful, delicious relaxation that you will soon have throughout your entire body.
So let's imagine that relaxation now moving down into your head from your eyes, like it's spilling back into your head, taking over every single cell of your brain, every single one. And now your whole head is feeling very heavy on the pillow, and the muscles of your scalp are softening, and the muscles of your face are letting go and relaxing. Good.
As you imagine warm waves of relaxation lapping up against the beach of your mind. Just enjoy those warm waves of relaxation lapping up against the beach of your mind. Smell those warm waves of relaxation as all mental tension simply disappears. As the relaxation moves down now through your neck and throat,
down into your shoulders. Your shoulders letting go for the night. The muscles in your shoulders becoming soft, relaxed. And all the burdens that you've carried on your shoulders, all the responsibilities that you've carried on your shoulders are falling to the floor. And you can pick any or all of them up in the morning, but for right now, your only responsibility is to yourself. As the relaxation moves down your arms now, just let it
Fall like rain down your arms. Your arms are becoming nice and heavy. Heavy. As the relaxation spills down now into your hands. All the way down into your fingers. Your fingers becoming so heavy and relaxed. It feels so nice to allow that energy to move all the way down your arms. Out your palms. Out your fingertips. As you let go. Feels so good.
As you may know already during this recording, if you hear sounds going on around you in your immediate environment, from this moment on, no sounds will bother or disturb you in any way. In fact, from this moment on, any sounds that you hear will be taking you deeper and deeper into relaxation. And you are allowing them to take you deeper and deeper.
Instead of tensing against them, you're opening and relaxing into them. Because you are in control of your subconscious mind. You make the decisions about what happens inside of you. As the sounds take you deeper and deeper, and my voice takes you deeper and deeper. And soon you'll find that all of the sounds, including my voice, feel far away, indistinct,
maybe even muffled as you go off on your own private experience of sleep. Good. Now let's imagine that relaxation moving down into your chest like this wonderful mist of relaxation is moving down inside your chest, really opening up your rib cage, allowing things to relax and release. Imagine a warm mist of relaxation
surrounding and supporting your heart. Just let your heart be supported. Just let it be held and any emotional tension that may have built up during the day or over the last little while is evaporating and you get to be here now. As the relaxation moves down into your belly, deep into your lower body, your pelvis is feeling heavy on the bed. The muscles of your lower back
letting go, your buttocks relaxing. As the relaxation moves down your legs, now allow your legs to feel heavy, heavy as the relaxation spills down your legs. Now into your feet, allow the relaxation to spill all the way down into your toes. Imagine energy moving out the soles of your feet, out the tips of your toe. As you release into relaxation,
You drift into relaxation. Good. I'd like you to imagine that you're in your own manifesting room. It's clean, spacious, and peaceful. This is where you relax and let go of the pressure of your life. This is where you accept yourself completely. There's a lovely, comfortable couch in your manifesting room, and you lie down on it.
as you relax, going deeper and even deeper, and your body finds its most comfortable position. And as you settle in, you're feeling calm and receptive, open to possibility. And we start tonight with some appreciating. I'm going to be saying the words, I appreciate, several times. And after I say, I appreciate,
Allow something to come to you that you appreciate. Whether it's a thing, a person, an idea, a place, an institution. Doesn't matter. Anything. Just allow what is ever inside of you to come forward. I appreciate. Notice what comes to you. And really notice what you appreciate about this person, place, or thing.
Really get into it and feel that good feeling. Good. Now again, I appreciate and let something else arise. And just enjoy this thing. Really get into it. Feel good about it. I appreciate whatever comes next. Notice it. Enjoy it. I appreciate. Appreciate. Notice how good it feels.
to appreciate things. I appreciate. I appreciate. I appreciate. Notice that appreciation leads to more appreciation. There's a domino effect and there's no end to appreciation. Appreciate. What's next? I appreciate. Appreciate. Good. Appreciating feels good.
and it's showing you that it's all there inside of you waiting to express itself. Pure, positive energy. Notice how appreciation changes you. How it's making you feel. You'll notice that you appreciate things more often now during the day and practice appreciation in your spare time just for fun. Just to feel good.
So now, let's begin by manifesting some new realities. How do you want to feel in your life? How do you want to feel? Notice what comes up inside of you when I ask this question. How do you want to feel? What's happening in your body? How does the energy inside of you shift when I ask
How do you want to feel? Maybe this feeling is already rippling through you. Or maybe you've been waiting for something to happen before letting yourself feel this feeling. Maybe you've associated this feeling with another person, or an event, or an amount of money, or some future experience. How do you want to feel? This question can be answered
right now, as the feeling is happening right now. Because all the feelings you experience in this lifetime, in the future or in the past, come from inside of you. So let yourself have this feeling now. Good. Notice what this feels like, where this feeling is happening in your body. Notice if it's warm,
or cool, expanding or contracting. Feel this feeling and amplify it. Take it up a couple of notches. Feel it a little more. Enjoy it. Let it grow. Let it grow. Especially if you've been denying yourself this feeling. Feel it now and really enjoy it. Good. Next, who do you want to be?
Do you have some image or feeling inside of you pointing you to who you want to become? Who do you want to become? We are constantly growing and changing, developing and evolving as people. And we are becoming more ourselves, continually becoming ourselves.
As parts of us drop away, habits are broken, patterns are released. As you grow, who do you imagine yourself becoming? Notice that there's a mirror in front of you and in it you see yourself in the way you want to be. Just notice this version of yourself. Notice the look on your face and how you hold your body.
Notice the energy coming out of this future self. This is who you are becoming. As you stand in front of the mirror, allow yourself to align with the energy of this future self. Feel the energy of this person. Be the energy of this future self. And now step into the mirror and merge with your future self.
It's easy. Any resistance you may have had to making changes has disappeared. You are your future self now. Excellent. Finally, what would you like to have? You may want many things, but allow one thing to come into your consciousness. Don't worry that it's not the perfect choice. You can change it tomorrow.
or want it again. Just make sure that whatever you choose, it's something you genuinely want, that you genuinely connect with. Hold it, touch it, interact with it. Really feel this thing and connect with it from deep inside. Notice its texture, its temperature, its color, its weight.
and relax as you feel it. Just be with it. Just be with it. Maybe you've been wanting this thing for a long time. Perhaps you've had all sorts of thoughts and feelings about this thing, and now it's here. Notice how you feel as you possess this thing. Maybe you feel good, excited, connected,
And as these feelings express themselves, it's beginning to feel normal to have this thing. It feels normal and good to have this thing. It feels normal to feel good. And now we continue to appreciate. I appreciate. Notice what comes. Appreciate. Appreciate. Appreciate. Appreciate.
