A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran. This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec. Christ is.
Some developments in the hush money case of Donald Trump in a New York City courtroom. The New York judge, Juan Merchan, has granted Trump permission to file a motion to dismiss that case. He's already said that he was going to delay sentencing for a little while. He says now that he is going to delay sentencing even further.
Pam Bondi is exactly what I was saying in the last segment that we should all fear because she's competent. We may not agree with her ideologically, but she actually knows how to do this job. So if anyone on the Democratic side or anyone who cared about liberty or justice was thinking, well, maybe Matt Gaetz will screw this up and that'll give us some time. No, Pam Bondi knows what she's doing. Sandra, the Biden administration is quietly loosening immigration policies before Trump takes office. This, according to The New York Post.
It reports the administration is testing a new app that will allow illegal migrants to bypass in-person check-ins at their local ICE office. No part of the FBI's mission is safe with Kash Patel in any position of leadership in the FBI. I think we have worked really hard, and I hope you all have seen this, to make sure that we brought back the norms.
that was taken away from our predecessor on how we engage with the press. The president respects the freedom of the press and he actually enjoys engaging and going back and forth with all of you. I just called Dave McCormick to congratulate him on his election to represent Pennsylvania in the United States Senate.
As the first count of ballots is completed, Pennsylvanians can move forward with the knowledge that their voices were heard, whether their vote was the first to be counted or the last. Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily. We are here today and live. Today is November 22nd, 2024. I know, Dominique. Mike Rogers. Oh, Mike Rogers. Mike Rogers.
You thought that you were going to be the head of the FBI. You thought this is where I saw you on Fox News, Mike. I saw you up there. Brian Kilmeade talking about how, oh, you're going to bring all the reform and cut out to cancer. Is that what he said? Cut out to cancer. We're going to cut out the cancer. We're going to really go after that cancer. But here's the thing is, Mike, we've got the receipts. We had all the receipts, man.
You spent all those years trashing Trump, supporting Comey, supporting the big state. The big state. Supporting McCabe. Supporting Russiagate. The hoaxes. The wiretapping. You can't do that. You can't do it. And if you think that you are going to hang out with Michael Hayden, seriously, Michael Hayden, buddies with John Brennan, Clapper,
All these guys, look, it's very simple. It's very, very simple. All these little games that you people used to play, all these little tricks that you say, oh, I'm a good Republican. I'm a good Republican. I just, you know, I just, it's over here. It's over there. No, no, no. We're not playing that anymore. This is the big leagues. This is the big leagues for everything. And I said this earlier on War Room, and I'll say it here today.
If Rupert Murdoch thinks that he gets to pick this cabinet and he gets to pick this administration, then he's got another thing coming. Because it wasn't Rupert Murdoch who won the electoral college, who won the popular vote of the United States of America, who won every single swing state, who swept the swing states. It was not Rupert Murdoch who did those things. That man's name was Donald John Trump. And it was Donald John Trump
that the people elected as their representative in the United States government. And it is his agenda which will move forward. It is as simple as that. He will be the one making the picks. Not you, not me, not anyone else.
That is why the people of this great nation have put their trust in him. Because things have gone too far in this country. They've gone too far. Everything's gone too far. And it's time to go back because we're so back. And we understand. Look, we see reports of war looming in Eurasia again.
Reports of potential escalation. The Biden administration trying to escalate their parting shot. Long-range missiles into Russia. Russia responds. They said it was the operational test of their hypersonic missile. And then Putin comes out and says the test was successful. Okay, we don't want war. We want peace. And we're going to get peace. So the warmongers, sorry guys, you're out. You're out for good.
Stay tuned. We have a great show today. Human Defense Daily continues. They talk about influences. These are influences. And they're friends of mine, Jack Posolik. Where's Jack? Jack? He's done a great job.

Okay, we have the great Mike Davis on. We've got a lot of confirmation talk to get into the Senate accounts. How does it all work? I wanted to bring him in now. Davis, we were trying to get you up yesterday on the Matt Gaetz news, but you had a dentist appointment. Did everything go okay? Are you able to speak? Is your mouth a little numb there?
Well, I'm getting old, Jack, and so my teeth are falling apart. I guess I'm just like fighting so much my teeth are breaking. So no, but it was good. I survived. I was down for the count for a couple hours, but no one can cage this beast. And so here I'm back.
He's back. He's back, folks. Eating a little too many sweets at the victory party at Mar-a-Lago, Mike Davis. A little too many sweets at the victory party, but that's okay. That's okay. We earned it. So let's get into this question right now. Let's get right back down to business.
When it comes to confirmation, so we just did the last segment here. Mike Rogers is, I mean, look, Dan Scavino, I'm just going to say this because I hear there's some rumors running around, people saying, oh, well, that's just Dan Scavino's tweet. President Trump didn't tweet that himself. Look, Dan Scavino is the most loyal soldier of the MAGA movement, period, full stop. He is not going into business for himself. He could have gone into business and made millions of dollars.
Trying to sell access to the president or lobby the president or write tell-all books like so many people have done. But Dan Scavino has never taken a cent. And that's how you know that his word with the president is bond. There is no question in my mind that when he wrote that about President Trump,
He would never, ever freelance President Trump's words like that. Mike Davis, I know you agree with that assessment as anyone within any yardage of Trump world would know. But so if Rogers is out, then Kash Patel seems to be the one who's in the driver's seat for this position. Let's talk confirmation because people keep saying, should Kash get it? Should Kash get it? Should Kash get it? All right. Well, we learn what the gates pick.
that you need at least 50 votes and then J.D. is the tiebreaker. Can Kash Patel get 50 votes in this United States Senate?
There's no question. Kash Patel is extraordinarily qualified to serve as the FBI director. Kash Patel was a counter Intel attorney in the National Security Division. He was a top aide on the House Intel Committee for Devin Nunes. He worked in the Trump administration and several key posts, including the chief of staff to the secretary
He worked for the director of national intelligence. He worked on the national security council. It was Kash Patel who helped figure out the Russian collusion hoax, crossfire hurricane. And that's why the establishment
is terrified of Kash Patel because they know he is a very competent and skilled operator. They know he knows where all the dead bodies are buried and they know that Kash Patel on day one would be a very effective director of the FBI. And I'll tell you, I was the chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee
We handled all the confirmations of all the judges and Justice Department officials, including the FBI director and the incoming chairman, Chuck Grassley, my former boss, has a lot of fans of Kash Patel on his senior staff. I have no doubt that Kash Patel would get confirmed by the Senate and he would make an outstanding FBI director. So I am in the only Kash camp.
Only cash. I love that. By the way, I had a tweet the other day about this. How are we going to make the deep state pay cash only? You like that? You see what I'm doing there? See what I'm doing there, Davis? All right, all right. It's lost on some. Shakespearean wit over here. Shakespearean wit. So when it comes to a candidate like that, I mean, you look at cash as well as his –
I actually had a conversation with him the other day, and I was looking at his bio, and I said, I didn't realize that he was a public defender for a decade. So he spent a full decade. By the way, way more actual courtroom experience than Kamala Harris. That Kash Patel is far more experienced as an attorney than Kamala Harris ever has been.
This guy spent 10 years defending people against these types of wrongful indictments, wrongful punishment, all of these various things. And so that's the kind of guy you really need who started his career for uncovering government wrongdoing. Davis.
That's exactly right. Cash is a friend of mine. He's a very good man. And he's been on all sides. He's been a prosecutor, a national security prosecutor. He's been a public defender. He's worked on the Hill in a very senior post on the House Intel Committee. He's worked in the White House National Security Council for the Secretary of Defense, for the Director of National Intelligence. Cash Patel checks every box. And he...
will do a very good job of rooting out the corruption at the FBI. And what they're terrified of is they made up the Russian collusion hoax. They know it. They made up Crossfire Hurricane to protect Hillary Clinton after her home server got hacked with our nation's most
classified secrets and the Clinton Foundation pay for play foreign bribery schemes when she was the Secretary of State. Tens of millions of dollars go to the Clinton Foundation. What favors did she do for those foreign entities, those foreign countries, our worst enemies, when she was the Secretary of State? And that's what has...
the Andrew Weismans and all these lawfare actors terrified is Kash Patel is actually skilled and competent and fearless enough to go right this wrong called Crossfire Hurricane.
I couldn't agree more when it comes to that. By the way, I believe that since Crossfire Hurricane is something that also touches the CIA, that's something that Ratcliffe, we know who's been. By the way, Ratcliffe was fantastic when it came to declassification when he was in office in the first term. And that's also something that I that's one of the reasons that I'm.
They're not going to want Tulsi Gabbard over controlling the secrets at DNI, the seat, the anointed seat of James Clapper either. What do you think?
Yeah, I love it. This is like the national security dream team. And when they start saying Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset or whatever the hell they're saying, they said the same thing about Trump when he came in with the Russian collusion hoax. That means that Tulsi Gabbard is going to be over their target. Right. And that is that, you know, think about this, Jack, that has to be pretty terrifying for all these guys where they politicized and weaponized all
are intel agencies and law enforcement to take out the leading presidential candidate. When they failed, they tried to take out the president of the United States. And then when he was out of office and he declassified Crossfire Hurricane, they tried to bankrupt him, throw him in prison for the rest of his life for non-crimes. They underfunded his Secret Service protection and almost got him killed. And guess what? President Trump dodged all the legal, political, and actual bullets. He's back alive.
in the White House and he's going to put an all-star team to fix this corruption. So these scandals, the biggest scandal in our nation's history, crossfire hurricane, can never happen again. Accountability is coming, justice is coming, nobody's above the law, and that's why these lawfare actors are terrified.
No, because they know that they've been up to skullduggery. They know that they have been up to all of the chicanery for so absolutely long that, you know, it's they're going to be bending themselves in ways to appear almost, you know, boneless. And they're going to be telling people over and over that they didn't do anything wrong when we know what happened. We've already seen the results of these things.
And what's worse for them is that we're not going to stop at just one member. So all of the Rogers cash Patel stuff is actually going back to the original hipsy and the original Nunez memo, because who was the chairman of the house Intel committee prior to prior to Nunez was Mike Rogers.
And he stepped down in 2015. Pompeo was going to get it, but then he went over to CIA at the time and kind of got his brain terraformed over there.
And then it was Nunez who came in as control of HIPC and who became his chief investigator was, of course, Kash Patel. So this is really what it all goes back to. There's no controversy about Kash. This guy has a sterling resume. He's not one of these party boys. He's not someone who's been like gallivanting around and traveling the world or any of this. It's nonsense. So final minute, Mike Davis, how do you see Kash's confirmation going forward if he does get the nomination?
I THINK HE WOULD GET CONFIRMED. I THINK HE WOULD ABSOLUTELY GET CONFIRMED. I THINK YOU'D HAVE STRONG BACKERS ON CHAIRMAN SHUT GRASSLEY'S STAFF, INCLUDING HIS CHIEF COUNSEL FOR OVERSIGHT AND INVESTIGATIONS WHO WORK VERY CLOSELY WITH CASH ON CROSSFIRE HURRICANE. THERE'S NO DOUBT THAT CASH WILL GET CONFIRMED. AND IF YOU HAVE
Pam Bondi as the AG, this bold, fearless AG who was the Florida AG for eight years and who represented Trump in the impeachment, the first impeachment hoax. And you have Tash Patel as the FBI director, Todd Blanch as the deputy. This is a really solid team. Could you imagine? Mike Davis, appreciate you. Took the day off yesterday, but Davis is back today. Go give him a follow. Article 3 Project Human Events continues.

So I wanted to bring on here one of my favorite domestic extremists, Peachy Keenan. Peachy, what's going on? - Hey Jack, how are you? - And of course, by the way, that's a reference to your book, please let Media Matters know that, okay? - That's right, I'm not an actual domestic extremist, okay, you don't need to waterboard me, I'm just extremely domestic.
She's extremely the extremely domestic domestic extremist. So let's let's talk a little bit about and I've been reading your commentary about the Trump cabinet, the Trump appointments, the way things are going forward. And safe to say that, you know, things look, we want. Right. It's amazing. Every single swing state, every single every single bellwether, the Electoral College, the the popular vote, the Senate, the House, it's it's.
It's just the biggest landslide. It is the biggest, one of the biggest victories and certainly the biggest comeback in American history. So the question that I guess I would have is, what do we do now? Right. It's like we we've got the keys to the car and, you know, we've got to go drive the car somewhere and we've got to actually make good, I would say, on all of the promises and the
ideas that we put forward over the last year. So it's kind of like you break it, you bought it. Well, we just bought it. What do we do? Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, I've been walking on air, obviously, since election night. They're trying to minimize it as it's not really a mandate. It was too small. It's a massive mandate. You know, even places that stayed blue turned way more red. So it's really thrilling. But we can't, like, wash off our war paint yet. We are still at war. They're not going to, you know, let us take our country back, obviously, without a fight. We're seeing that with the Matt Gaetz withdrawal and all the other things.
But I did notice that some of my fellow domestic extremists, the trad moms that I kind of hang out with in my normal life, they were getting a little nervous with reading about Pete Hegseth's dalliances with ladies, Matt Gaetz's potential backstory. They voted for Donald Trump. They're fully MAGA. They are totally on board with the agenda.
I mean, they're to the right of me in some regards, but they were getting a little nervous. So I think what is important to focus on is, yes, it is important to have fighters. We want killers, you know, rhetorical killers in D.C. in the cabinet. We want them to take a fire hose to these people. I want to see tribunals of, you know, some of our problematic favorites that we want to see, you know, kind of pay the price of being held to account for what they've done to us for four years.
But these moms were getting a little nervous, like, hmm, you know, I still kind of want these people in the cabinet to be people I could like, you know, plausibly, you know, have lunch with or dinner with and not feel weird about. What's really important is for us to get past these controversies, past the appointments and get on the business of making America great again. Focus on the economic stuff. Focus on, you know, protecting our children from, you know, the woke movement. That is really where they need to kind of make their big mark right away.
No, I think that's exactly right because look, we know that, we know that, look, look, look, this is reality, okay? We've been riding high, we've got the honeymoon phase, right? We're in all of that, it's great. But guess what? This is still the real world, okay? Ladies and gentlemen, this is still the real world. But one of the things that I think that just happened was a huge revelation and the revelation that we all got was, and you know, we're going to be doing a Thanksgiving special all about this on how to have Thanksgiving with liberals.
And with Joshua and myself, Joshua Lysak, who wrote the anti-communism book with me. And basically it's like they just found out that they're not the majority. And they've spent the last 15 years telling everybody and themselves that they are the smartest, that they are the hippest, that Barack Obama is like the coolest person ever. And I read the New York Times every day, pick cover to cover. And.
And I listen to NPR all the time, so I'm well informed. And they actually just found out that most of the country is not like them. So how do you deal with people who are going through this demoralization? I mean, honestly, I let them stew. We spent four years...
I write under a pseudonym because I live in Los Angeles. And if I don't, I will be murdered on the streets. My house will be burnt down. My husband will be fired. So I really don't care that their feelings are hurt, that they're feeling bad. I'm giving us a little honeymoon period to enjoy the schadenfreude and watch them squirm and cry. And the liberal tears, they taste so good when they hit your lips.
But I think that they're all reckoning with this. And you see this on TV, you know, Micah and Scarborough, like bending the knee, kissing the ring. They don't know what to do. And they're running around. They have nowhere to go. They have nowhere to hide. And it's, I mean, I'm enjoying it. I think we kind of have to let ourselves enjoy it.
And they need to kind of, you know, be spanked a little bit and learn that it was not okay what they did to us. It was not okay to force us into hiding. And there were so many of us in hiding. And I think that that's why they're so shocked. Because, like, you are not allowed to wear a Trump T-shirt or a Trump hat in public in many places in this country. People would freak out at you. You know, right before the election, that lady wore a MAGA hat for the Dodger game in the World Series, you know, front row behind...
behind home plate and people freaked out. I wanted to like find her and dox her. So it's their fault. It's their fault that they were surprised because we were all in hiding. And it's, no, it's, it's, here's what I've said. Okay. So, and we, we talked about this in, in our book on humans, the secret history of communist revolutions. And we said, we don't want revenge. Okay. Revenge, revenge is bad, right?
Because revenge gets... Because it gets out of hand. There's a lot of stuff that gets way out of hand too much. And we don't want revenge. And what we don't want is also just this full-on reactionism. We don't want that. What we want is reciprocity. Reciprocity. It's as simple as that. And so to specific individuals who committed specific crimes, then those crimes will be turned against you. It's as simple as that. And so...
to those people who say, I don't know, deprived others of rights, to those people who, I don't know, let's say, let's take a look at these NGOs that are getting money to bring people in across the border or the NGOs that help to fund Lake and Riley's murderer and bring her down. I guess she was in, or he was in New York and then brought her down to Georgia, right? So guess what? These are crimes. These are all crimes and you're going to have to pay for that.
Yeah, I mean, her case is such an egregious example. And, you know, Jose Ibarra is not the only person who should be in jail for life or her death. And Lakin Riley is not the only American who's been hurt, killed. There's many people who have been attacked and paid the price of their life. People lost children literally because of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Alejandro Mayorkas, and
And I think until we can kind of hold these people to account and prosecute them for literally murder, and this is a blood-soaked administration, if you think about the carnage that has happened with these open border policies since 2020, it's really not fair to kind of just, okay, it's Jose Ibarra. He's out, he's in jail, everything's fine now. Like, no, there are other people who basically almost, you know, they smashed her head, her skull in with a rock just as much as he did. I have a 16-year-old daughter.
You know, she has long, dark hair. I look at Lake and Riley and I honestly, I saw the video of her mother, you know, the body cam footage from the police officer when she arrived. When they introduced her. When they explained to her what happened. Yeah.
Yeah, like where the body was found. And I, you know, I mean, like, that could be me. And, you know, when Barack Obama said Trayvon Martin could be my, looks like he could be my son. Well, Lakin Riley looks like she could have been my daughter. Okay. And it should feel, should feel everyone in this country with, with rage.
And I hope that Jose Ibarra, I mean, first of all, the DA that prevented, the woke DA that prevented him from getting the death penalty should also be disbarred, should also be impeached. I mean, we have a long, there's a long list of people with blood on their hands in that one.
No, I completely agree. And that's just one instance, right? There's, there's, there's, that we could think of so many, Jocelyn Nungready, there's Rachel Morin, and that's just off the top of my head that these, and President Trump, by the way, this is something that, and, and, and Peachy, let me just ask you this. And, and by the way, can we hold you over? Because I know we're getting close to the break. Can we hold you over? Can you hear me? Please do. Of course. We will. Because,
I wrote an op-ed earlier this year in humanevents.com saying that if you talk more about the angel moms and about what's going on to the girls of this country at the hands of illegal aliens, then that is a way to speak to the suburbs. It's not in a way of saying that, oh, you need to like Trump and you're gonna be, oh, Trump is my buddy. No, no, no, no, no, no. Trump is gonna keep you safe from these murderous nutjobs
that are out on the street trying to kill your daughters and rape them. And I said, I think this is going to help in the suburbs. And you look and he won the white female suburban vote.
Yeah. These are the women who have daughters. They're playing sports. They're exposed. They're running around these cities. They are feeling the, you know, if your girls are going on a, you know, they're in New York City. They're on a school trip. They're going to be, you know, they're kind of like the leading edge. And they're going to, are they going to be on a subway? You know, are they going to be in a subway car with guys like Jordan Neely, these ranting, raving lunatics? One just stabbed to death three innocent New Yorkers this week.
In California, almost every week, every other day, I feel like I read a local news story about a nice grandma or a mom with her kids who was hit by a drunk driver somewhere in California. And I'll check the names and, oh, this person only had a Mexican or El Salvador driver's license. They were here illegally. And there's just the DUI deaths alone are really astounding here in California, a sanctuary state. And so
And so, yes, we know exactly what's going on. Peachy, that's that's the break music coming up. Give me one second. Put a pin in that because we know that you have got a lot of truth that we want to get out to our folks. Human events, 1776, human events dot com. Shoot us your email. Tell us what you think about everything that's going on. Where is Jack? Where is Jack? Where is he? Jack, I want to see you.
Great job, Jack. Thank you. What a job you do. You know, we have an incredible thing. We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting policies. Okay, Jack Posobiec back live here, Human Events Daily. So PG, we were talking before the break about how, like, I feel like there's so much that's just been lost in the sauce of Trump's victory. Trump won suburban females, Trump won suburban women, this block. And you and I, we talked about Barbie this year. We talked about Taylor Swift. We talked about my gosh, all of these very, the domestic extremists, the extremely domestics and all of these things. And,
Look, I'm not going to say, and I wrote, and I don't write a lot, but I wrote the op-ed on the
on how illegal alien violence, specifically targeting young women, was something that President Trump should highlight, not only because it is evil and horrible to our citizens and the fact that mainstream media never will, but also that don't pander to women. Don't sit there and say, oh, I'm good for women. I mean, yes, of course, but go out there and actually show, I will keep you safe.
Because that is a man's role in general, is keeping the family safe, is keeping the neighborhood safe, keeping the home safe. Women run the house, sure. When I'm home, Tanya runs the house, all right? She runs, everything goes on inside the house. That's how I run. But you know what? Who runs the cameras?
Who makes sure that we are fully exercising the Second Amendment? Right. That's me. And you can tell like guys, guys like get excited when they when they talk about this stuff. But with girls, it's women. It's just not something that I'm not saying all. But, you know, generally speaking, people are geared towards different things. And so let's talk a little bit. How was it that Donald Trump and his movement were able to win suburban women?
Yeah, it's so funny. Being a Democrat, voting for Democrats, you know, being like a voting, voting, just like being a single issue abortion voter is a, is a luxury belief.
And that was something that you could do, let's say in 2018 and 2019 as part of the resistance to Trump, like you're going to put on your little hat and do the women's March. But starting in 2020 and 2021 and 2022, when the crime wave started, when the immigration went insane in this country, um, and when the kind of transgenderism had really taken hold, even in fancy private suburban private schools and colleges, um, the women's
The women who would have voted, let's say, for Barack Obama or Joe Biden in 2020 and earlier, suddenly were really mugged by reality. They were radicalized. Like, who radicalized them? The Democrats that they voted for did.
And so by 2024, so many of them had been kind of mugged by reality. They're, you know, driving down the street, passing another tent camp like I do every day here in L.A., going to the grocery store. I mean, these things, the prices, the crime, all of it had degraded so dramatically. And then meanwhile, at their kid's school, the kids are coming home with gender indoctrination and they're being forced to wear pronoun name tags at even at fancy liberal private schools.
So I kept hearing anecdotally that like, even like, you know, rich suburban families in Los Angeles were actually liberals for pulling their kids out of schools like Crossroads High School, which is where Elon Musk's son was turned into a girl. And there were, I was shocked to hear this, like even these liberals, it was too much for them. And so you started kind of seeing the canaries in the coal mine. And then I had this friend, she actually grew up in suburban Philadelphia,
Her father was a physician. Now they live on the West Coast with three young boys. And she was a liberal feminist. I went to college with her. She was just hardcore Democrat, loyalist for life. She texted me the morning of the election and she said, Peachy, she knows I'm Peachy. She said, if you had told me four years ago that I would have voted for Donald Trump today, I would have thought you were insane. But guess what? I gotta hold off on there. I just voted for Donald Trump. Do you?
Do, do, do people, do your, do your personal friends call you PG? Cause I always call you PG when I see you, but do your personal friends call you PG at this point? No, no, they, no, she, she called me my real name, but she did find out about my secret life. Honestly, my every, every once in a while, my, my six-year-old will call me post. So,
They'd be like, hey, Poso. Like, excuse me. It's dad, daddy, father, something like that. Okay. All right. Right. Poso. He loves it. My teenagers will call me PG, like to troll me. Like, what's up, PG? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, that's good. That's good. It's very funny. So I think that's a huge part of it. And there's another one as well. And I was talking to Tyler Boyer at Turning Point Action, because that's where I was on election day. And I
I remember in, so in the Pennsylvania, so Pennsylvania, you're going to love this actually, that this came down to, you know, understanding the Pennsylvania suburbs and the Pennsylvania collar counties. And so we now know that Donald Trump outran Dave McCormick, who was seen as a sort of, you know, just your, I'm not going to say cookie cutter, right? I'm not going to say cookie cutter, but he was seen as more of a colloquialist.
classical Republican candidate. You know, in the military, great military record, great business record, and then goes runs for office. Okay. We've seen that, you know, that's the typical Republican, you know, set of ingredients. And so,
For him to run, they said, oh, well, he'll clean up in the Pennsylvania suburbs and Trump needs to blow out the West. And that's the only way Trump can win. Although something different happened, Trump outran McCormick in those suburbs and flipped Bucks County and Erie County, whereas Bucks County actually voted for the Democrat who just conceded finally last night, Bob Casey, which I've been wanting to get rid of that guy for a long, long time. So good. And so-
I remember saying to Tyler during the day, he said, "Wait a minute, all right, so the city turnout was down, Philadelphia, and the rural turnout was way up, exploding massive rural turnout in Pennsylvania, but then suburban turnout was up." And they said, people were saying, "Wow, is that suburban turnout help us or hurt us?" And they said, "Well, typically it's been hurting us lately. That's the abortion vote." And I said, "Guys, I don't think so."
I said, I, I, and I won't going to say, take credit for saying that. I think we win, but I said, I think we split the suburban vote this year. I think we split it. I think it'll be 50, 50. And it was pretty close. It was about 52, 48. So why was it that so many people couldn't see that? And by the way, Maha plays into this.
And RFK and all of that. So many things, trans and girls sports. Trans and girls sports is a huge issue there. Great Paula Scanlon's been running around with Riley Gaines and doing events all over Pennsylvania. Why is it that people couldn't see the shift?
I think that people had talked themselves into thinking that this was the girl boss election, this was the brat election, and that abortion was big enough of a single issue for women that it would just overwhelmingly go. You saw women were like, I'm going to take my daughter to vote with me, vote for her reproductive freedom and her rights. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But that was actually...
Right. Like, which is so weird. Remember the wink? Do you remember the wink? The ad with the wink of like, I'm not going to tell I'm definitely voting for Trump. And they do the wink on the it's like the it's ridiculous. Yeah, it was. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We're going to lie to our husband. It was so bad.
ads were really insulting to women and they were extremely insulting yeah they talked down to us and i think it's just a hard sell to say that women are one are one issue are a single issue voting block and you're going to vote so that your daughter your little daughter can one day abort your own grandchild like that if you think about it that is very dark that is not a positive it's extremely dark
Don't you want your daughter to grow up and get married and have a baby and you can hold the baby? Isn't that something you would prefer? And that's what Donald Trump can actually help with.
Jack is a great guy. He's written that fantastic book. Everybody's talking about it. Go get it. And he's been my friend right from the beginning of this whole beautiful event. And we're going to turn it around and make our country great again. Amen.
All right, Jack Posobiec here, back live, Human Events Daily. We've got Darren Beattie on. Now, Darren, we've seen a lot of ups and downs, quite a rollercoaster week when it comes to the national security positions. Gates out, but Rogers out as well. And so the Game of Thrones continues on and on and on. But look, you know, I think a lot's been said on both of those positions, but I
but I understand that you've also been keeping an eye on something that could potentially be very beneficial for freedom of speech, and that's regarding the FTC. Tell us what your thoughts are there.
Yes, exactly. I think in general we should be paying attention to the handful of positions that are going to be very relevant to consolidating the very major free speech gains that we've had, most notably because of Elon. But we really need the right kind of team to consolidate these victories and build upon these victories institutionally.
And some of these positions are not maybe the highest profile positions that we've been talking about, not the sexiest positions, but they're going to be very critical positions. One of them is Brendan Carr, who's done a lot of great work and
is now going to run the FTC. He's taken notice about our friends at NewsGuard. Years back, Revolver News did a major report on NewsGuard, these guys who assign nutrition labels to websites. And of course,
consider people like us toxic and give us low ratings designed to deprive us of advertising dollars and so forth. Carr is someone who understands this problem intimately and just generally what the threats to free speech are. And one point worth noting, especially in light of the disappointing news in relation to Matt Gaetz,
is Carr was already in the FCC. And so once you're already in the department, you don't need an additional confirmation, Senate confirmation to be moved to the head of it. And so from my understanding, the best free speech guy for the FTC is,
this guy named Andrew Ferguson. And the advantage with him is he's already in there. So he can just be pushed to the head of it without any additional confirmation. And he's someone who, you know, again, near and dear to our hearts, Jack, the Disinformation Governance Board in the AG's office in Virginia, he led a multi-state legal challenge to that. His public pronouncement-
By the way, Mike Benz had an interesting line the other day. He said, perhaps instead of getting rid of this disinformation governance board, we should just restart it, but we'll place Mike Benz, Jack Posobiec, Natalie Winters, and Darren Beattie in charge of the disinformation governance board so that all of the private actors now fall under our supervision. Well, I think that's...
That's not a bad idea, frankly. That's not. That sort of thing is going to be a critical part of, again, the free speech dream team. We have Carr at FCC. We need someone good. Ferguson is the best guy, and he's also very easy because, again, doesn't require an additional Senate confirmation. All you have to do is push him from where he is now to
the head of it, and he will be a tremendous force multiplier to Brendan Carr. And he's someone who, based on his public pronouncements and also his own professional activity directly going after the Disinformation Governance Board, he understands this space very well. And so it's key not to just have one good person in one position, but the synergistic effect of having
really solid people in every position relevant to free speech, including we need a person like that in the DOJ, for instance, in the antitrust division at DOJ. There are some critical positions there, which if everyone's working together, we can genuinely and authentically consolidate
the gains that we've made from the major transformation that came from Elon stepping into the arena and getting Twitter.
No, I think that's exactly right because look, there's, and Ken Paxton, if I believe, also just launched an investigation on advertisers targeting social media companies. I mean, Darren, let's, you know, we're talking about the different, you know, the different sides of the same thing, but it's sort of like the blind men trying to describe an elephant because really all of this, all of this is predicated on the fact that Elon bought Twitter. Yeah.
All of this. Yes. Because, and so every social media entity is trying to ape what he has done. You have this blue sky nonsense that's out there, which by the way, I love the trolling on blue sky. People are going over that. I would never do this myself. Oh no, oh no.
Oh, no. Oh, I've seen some very, very heinous things over on Blue Sky that I definitely can't repeat. Probably on Revolver, too. Who knows? Oh, no.
And, oh my goodness. There was one guy with that. I'll just say this. I'll say this. There's a guy who's got a, it might actually really be him. I don't know. But there's a guy who's got a Justice Clarence Thomas account. He's just been absolutely...
Who is the guy who made like this horrible predictions with the keys? Oh, Lickman, Lickman, Lickman. He absconded to a blue sky. I don't know if he's back on Twitter, but the,
just for now he ran over to blue sky but so all the all like the dissident right and the 4chan guys and the anons are chasing them over there and it's just it is a thing of absolute absolute beauty of that guy whoever's running the clarence thomas again maybe it's actually him i don't know maybe it's actually him is uh he's just absolutely raining hellfire down on them over there darren uh we're we're in a good spot and
Look, we just we have to thank Elon Musk and people. Look, I'll put it this way. There are people who have said, oh, Elon shouldn't be at Mar-a-Lago. Elon shouldn't, you know, play a part in this. And I'd say he's earned a spot. He's earned a spot a hundred times over. Other than Trump, there's nobody in the world who took a bigger personal risk than Elon for the benefit of the country. Like he put it on the line.
He put it on the line in a major way. It's because he's thinking in the long term. He's thinking in civilizational terms. He understands, I think, correctly that if we continue going down the trash heap with all this nonsense and the corrupt criminal filth who've been running the country into the ground, we have no hope of making it to Mars, much less
Leaving low Earth orbit, which we haven't done for over a half century for that matter. So we need to turn things around big and he's played a major part in that. Couldn't agree more. Darren Beattie, Revolver.News. Go give him a follow. Folks, ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
