President-elect Donald Trump ready to return to the White House with a cabinet full of secretary positions. The latest from Fox's Brian Yennis in West Palm Beach, Florida. President-elect Trump has now selected all of his cabinet-level secretaries. He has filled all of those positions less than three weeks after winning re-election, officially picking his agriculture secretary position.
Brooke Rollins. Rollins is founder and president of the America First Institute. She served as White House advisor on the domestic policy during Trump's first term in office. In a statement, Trump touted her generational family farming background. Quote, as our next secretary of agriculture, Brooke will spearhead the effort to protect American farmers who are truly the backbone of our country.
Trump still needs to name a small business administrator, U.S. trade representative and a chair of the Council of Economic Advisors. Judge Juan Mershon accepting the president elect's motion to dismiss his New York criminal case and postponing his sentencing date. is demanding the case against the former president be tossed. Quote, on November 5th, 2024, the nation's people issued a mandate that supersedes the political motivation of the D.A.N.Y.'s people. This case must immediately be dismissed. Blanch says immediate dismissal of the case is mandated by the Presidential Transition Act of 1963 and the, quote, interests of justice.

President Biden working to get a number of new federal judge appointments done before his term ends in January. One by one, President Joe Biden's picks are making it across the finish line. It's sort of a mad dash now. We are less than two months. The president nominated more than 260 judges since taking office. Democrats want to beat Donald Trump's first term number of 234, and they may do it after cutting a deal with Republicans late one night this past week. A
Approved by outgoing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, the deal allows Democrats to move on more district court judges without Republican delays in return. Democrats will leave open four appellate seats for President-elect Trump, for Republicans to fill. If they need to break a tie, Vice President Kamala Harris is always in the back pocket. Fox's David Spuntz. Some House Democrats hoped Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor would retire so President Biden could appoint a younger replacement before President-elect Trump is sworn in.
Lyle and Eric Menendez will partake in a court hearing Monday virtually. It's their first court appearance in years. The two brothers are serving life sentences without possibility of parole for killing their parents. Outgoing L.A. County District Attorney George Gascon recommended the case be resentenced, a decision the next DA would like to review.
Legendary game show host Chuck Woolery has died. Woolery got his first big break in 1975 when he was named the original host of Wheel of Fortune. He would hold the gig until 1981 when Pat Sajak took over. Woolery would later host Scrabble and this popular dating show.
