An agriculture secretary chosen. The Trump transition. I'm Debra Valentine, Fox News. President-elect Trump announcing Brooke Rollins of Texas as his pick for Secretary of Agriculture. She served on Trump's 2016 Economic Advisory Council. In a statement, the president-elect said, Brooke's commitment to support the American farmer and defense of American food self-sufficiency is second to none.
Meanwhile, Republicans are feeling positive about President-elect Trump's new choice to lead the Justice Department. His first choice, former Congressman Matt Gaetz, dropped out of the running. Trump has known Pam Bondi for years. She served as Florida's attorney general between 2011 and 2019. In Trump's nomination announcement, he said, quote,
for too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans. Not anymore. Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting crime and making America safe again. I look forward to confirming, Pam. I don't think she'll have any problem at all. And President Trump will get what he wants to get to get the attorney general's office serving the American people again, not serving the
party interest of the Democrat party. Bondi has also served as a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, so extensive legal experience. Fox's Christina Coleman reporting. Israel says the body of an Israeli Moldovan rabbi who went missing in the United Arab Emirates has been found. Israel's prime minister calling it murder and an anti-Semitic terror incident.
Former Oklahoma Democratic senator and presidential hopeful Fred Harris died on Saturday. He was 94 years old. He ran for the 1976 Democratic presidential nomination. Harris won election to the U.S. Senate in 1964 to fill a vacancy. America is listening to Fox News.

A former Kentucky sheriff is indicted in a judge's murder. Madison Scarpino of Fox Business reports. The former Ledger County sheriff is now indicted for murder of a public official. Prosecutors say he killed District Judge Kevin Mullins. These two men are well known in the small Appalachian community where this happened.
The courthouse shooting was caught on video. Judge Mullins with his hands up facing who prosecutors say is former Sheriff Steins. Mullins is shot, falls out of his chair and is shot several more times inside his own chambers. Police say after this, Steins was arrested without any issues. They say he was calm and said to officers, quote, treat me fair.
Steins pleaded not guilty to this murder. The motivation behind the shooting is still being investigated. Steins' arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
An assistant principal in Los Angeles is accused of molesting eight students under 11 years old over a number of years. David Lane Braff Jr. was arrested Friday and charged with 17 felony counts. Prosecutors say the abuse allegedly occurred at a Santa Paula elementary school where the man worked as a counselor from 2015 to 2019.
A legendary game show host, Chuck Woolery, has passed away. Fox's Krista Mayo has the story. Woolery got his first big break in 1975 when he was named the original host of Wheel of Fortune. He would hold the gig until 1981 when Pat Sajak took over. Woolery would later host Scrabble and this popular dating show.
