Filling more slots in the cabinet, I'm Roger Stern, Fox News. Three weeks after the election and President-elect Trump has almost finished nominating his cabinet, Fox's Madeline Rivera. President-elect Trump made one of the most anticipated announcements, his choice of Scott Besant as Treasury Secretary comes after days of uncertainty and a reported fierce battle for the coveted role. Besant is the founder of hedge fund Key Square Capital Management, but he's also the founder of the company, Key Square Capital Management.

Besson had advocated for a three by three by three approach to the economy. And the idea is to cut the budget deficit to three percent of GDP by 2028, push economic growth to three percent using tax policies and produce an additional three million barrels of oil per day. Other new picks, former NFL player Scott Turner, secretary of housing and urban development and Fox News medical contributor Jeanette Nashwad as surgeon general.

President-elect Trump announcing he's nominating Brooke Rollins from Texas to serve as Secretary of Agriculture. He was Trump's Director of the Domestic Policy Council, Director of the Office of American Innovation, and Assistant to the President for Strategic Discussions.

Republicans more optimistic about Trump's second choice for attorney general after the selection of congressional firebrand Matt Gaetz went up in flames. Fox's Christina Coleman with more. Trump has known Pam Bondi for years. She served as Florida's attorney general between 2011 and 2019. In Trump's nomination announcement, he said, quote,

for too long the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans. Not anymore. Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting crime and making America safe again. Bondi has also served as a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, so extensive legal experience. America is listening to Fox News.

Good things come in threes, like my three-row SUV. Mom! Coach, that's three practice. It gets my three kids to three sports in three different parts of town. Mom, my new cleats are so hot. Luckily, I fill up with Synergy Supreme Plus premium gas from Exxon and mobile stations. It keeps my engine three times cleaner for better gas mileage. Mom, can we get ice cream after practice?

Because as soon as this season's over, the next one begins. Find a station at Exxon.com. Synergy Supreme Plus gas compared to Synergy regular gas and port fuel injected engines. Benefits based on continuous use and may vary.

Members of Congress are miffed. The nation's FBI director and Homeland Security secretary stood up to congressional hearings where they were supposed to testify. Fox's Chad Pergram. Two witnesses, two hearings, two days, two cancellations. FBI Director Christopher Wray and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas skipped consecutive House and Senate hearings on threats around the world.

Bipartisan lawmakers are fuming. Before he had the top job, Alejandro Mayorkas served as deputy Homeland Security secretary. Former Homeland Security Secretary Jay Johnson was his boss during the Obama years. Alejandro Mayorkas is on his way out. It's reported that the FBI director may be on his way out.

And they probably simply don't want to subject themselves to the circus that has become congressional hearings. Wallmakers offered a closed session to Mayorkas and Wray, but they did not bite. President-elect Trump is vowing to make extensive changes at DHS and the FBI. President Biden hosted one of his final White House dinners to thank longtime supporters.

The Biden administration is wrapping up in the final weeks. President Biden is here at the White House this weekend, a quiet weekend at this point now. A dinner on the South Lawn last night with several hundred people to honor the president and the first lady. Dr. Biden, as a way to say goodbye and thank you for the past few weeks.

four years. But there's still work to be done, and President Biden wants to get many of his appointed judges confirmed and across the finish line. These are lifetime appointments. Five more Biden-appointed judges are one step closer to crossing that finish line. They made it out of committee and will head to the Senate floor after Thanksgiving. Fox's David Spahn at the White House. I'm Ron Tristern, and this is Fox News.
