President-elect Trump made one of the most anticipated announcements, his choice of Scott Besant as Treasury Secretary comes after days of uncertainty and a reported fierce battle for the coveted role. Besant is the founder of hedge fund Key Square Capital Management, but he's also the founder of the company, Key Square Capital Management.

FBI Director Christopher Wray and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas skipped consecutive House and Senate hearings on threats around the world.
Bipartisan lawmakers are fuming. Before he had the top job, Alejandro Mayorkas served as deputy Homeland Security secretary. Former Homeland Security Secretary Jay Johnson was his boss during the Obama years. Alejandro Mayorkas is on his way out. It's reported that the FBI director may be on his way out.
