The Supreme Court rules against the Biden administration. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. The high court refuses to let the U.S. implement rules protecting transgender students. In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court rejects the Biden administration's request to partially lift lower court injunctions blocking a new rule to protect LGBTQ plus students from discrimination in schools and colleges based on gender identity and sexual orientation.
Ten GOP-led states, including Kentucky, Tennessee, and Louisiana, challenging the rule, which aims to expand protections under Title IX, a law barring sex discrimination in federally funded education programs. The high court sending the case back to lower courts.

The Secret Service makes security changes for former President Trump's rallies. Bulletproof glass will now surround the podium at former President Trump's events moving forward. According to a federal law enforcement source, the glass will be used at outdoor events, but indoor events will not have the same level of protection. The upgrades come after the assassination attempt on former President Trump at a July rally in Pennsylvania.

The 76th Annual Emmy Awards airs September 15th on ABC. Ford recalls tens of thousands of Explorer police vehicles over potential engine fires. Ford's recall affects 85,000 2020 to 2022 Explorer police interceptors. With 3.3 liter hybrid and gas engines that may fail prematurely and possibly result in a fire.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration saying in the case of an engine failure, significant quantities of engine oil or fuel vapor could be released into the Underhood area and potentially ignite. That as of last month, there were 13 reports of Underhood fires on Explorer police interceptors in North America, though no reports of accidents and injuries and no reports of fires on non-police Explorers. Ford says a fix is currently being developed.
