This happens quite often when you're having raising children, because I know that her teacher is uncomfortable with her being hungry and not having a lunch. And IT would ease her discomfort if I came to the school with lunch, but I I responded and just said, eve is responsible for making her lunches in the morning, and he actually told me he did pack a lunch. So the natural outcome is she's just going to need to be hungry and hopefully, hopefully nobody gives her food and nobody stepped in and gives her a lunch.

If you find identity in something and you are struggling with management of yourself, those things need to be taken away from you so they can get the root cause of what's going on. So anything that gives you a sense of self, anything that gives you a sense of identity, is taken from you. And that's like a practice that SHE preaches. Children that are manageable had to be all there. Anything external has to be taken away from them because they need to first start with themselves.

These instances of extreme punishment rattled viewers like Julia .

SHE deprived her child of that basic necessity when he had the means to get him ten bets with all the money. He was very in from youtube. So tiny, that was just completely unacceptable. And then he comes the only source for the cure in a very similar way that a lot of high demand religions do. So she's using a format kind of already built into the the culture that he is predominantly seeing, and the one that she's predominated familiar with, SHE rope. You n with some pretty evidence based psychological ideas, and then just twists and works them, so you can't tell what's true and what's not true.

There were obvious crossovers between Jessie's experiences living with jodie and the parenting methodologies rubie began practicing with her own children.

I think a lot of the alarm bells started going off about three, three and half years ago now when some of those video started surfacing of withholding food from your children are not bringing the food to school when somebody forgets IT or forcing somebody to sleep on the ground. IT sounds like a lot of the things I love, Jessie hill, the brand, when they talk to me about their own circumstances of living, which joe hill, the brand of being forced to live outside in the withholding, he just got ta look closely at some of those episodes. And I think there are a ones that people really key in on .

You get the sense that there were some cross over somewhere where ruby was learning these tactics from joe and then putting some of IT on her children for the world to sea.

But ruby's relationship with her children wasn't the only one to experience a shift. Her marriage to Kevin saw changes to ut. Attorney Randy castle says that just like the parenting Kevin ruby is, relationship was subjected to jody's influence too.

Kevin was attending men's groups that were facilitated by jody, and during those groups he was being downgraded and diminished. And a told how that he was, that he needed to repent. I would imagine that mean sleeping in different rooms, right, and really isolated yourself from the other, maybe in a way to strength in the relationship, when in reality, in this situation, IT likely ripped apart to brian.

So as far as we understand IT, the relationship that ruby an Kevin had early on was relatively Normal married couple. They were in videos together. And then as far as ruby meeting jody, that's when things separated .

in twenty twenty two, ruby returned from a trip with jody, reiterating to Kevin that his attitude was harmful to their family. And SHE has some other shocking news for him too. Really.

we felt like there were differences in their marriage. And at one point, in conjunction with jodie hilder brand, that sort of like we have to separate to save our marriage.

Just he is a master full manipulator that IT is her favorite term. Anyone that has work with jodie am certain when I say that it's like a trigger ing master full manipulator. Everything that I came out of my mouth was considered a lie. I wasn't allowed to be around people because I was so full of evil, but IT wasn't safe for me to be .

Jody's agenda, as described by Jessie, gets progressively more calculating.

SHE recognizes the raw material at hand. SHE seized the areas that he can exploit. So SHE strips your identity SHE stripped your credibility and SHE isolates you and shows she's saying everything that you say is a lie.

Everything that you will say is is manipulation. You're manipulating everyone around you. You're lying and destroying everyone's life.

Under the impression the two would reconcile, Kevin moved out of their large family home in springville end into a small apartment under the direction of both joy and ruby. Communication between Kevin and his children was cut off completely, and his communication with ruby was only on her terms. In just two years, the Frankie family experienced a complete upheaval, and there was one common thread tying IT all together.

While the family may have had some struggles prior to jody coming into their lives, IT just kind of seems like that once you get involved in their lives, uh, I just destroyed his family.

I think that ruby and joe demonstrate and show the world a pattern of the pressure cooker in the dynamic it's going to manifest in other ways.

There needs to be eyes on this because this is frightening and something's going to have that if more people don't starting attention and unfortunately, like it's affordable thing to be right about. But that's exactly what happened.
