If you're a parent like me, you're always looking for ways to help your children thrive. I discovered a unique block set that my kids absolutely love. They're called Jelly Blocks. My kids love to squeeze, stretch, and squish these blocks. They're filled with sand, foam beads, and crunchy stars and are completely safe for little ones. I love them because I don't have to worry while they play. They love them because they're so much fun. Your kids will love Jelly Blocks. Available now on Amazon.
Hello listeners, it's that time of year again where we dust off the Bad Religion and August Burns Red Christmas albums and prepare to celebrate the festive season. That means it's also time for our annual end of year message. This week's episode, Case 306, Ina and David Steiner, will be our final episode for 2024.
We'll be back soon with the new episodes in February, but for now the Casefile team will be busy behind the scenes preparing for next year's releases. 2024 was a big one for Casefile Presents with our most successful series, The Bakersfield 3, reaching number one on the Apple charts across multiple countries. Hosted by Olivia LaVoie, The Bakersfield 3 has amassed over 12 million listens worldwide and received rave reviews.
Olivia has also started releasing videos on the Casefile Presents YouTube channel, in which she revisits some of the most popular Casefile episodes and presents them with additional photos, videos, graphics, and even some new details. New videos will be released over the break, so check those out if you're looking for some Casefile-related content while we're off air.
September saw the release of Missing Niamh, an investigative podcast series that dives deep into the unsolved disappearance of 18-year-old Niamh May. I spent over four years working on this series with Niamh's family, and the case holds a special place in my heart. Missing Niamh reached number one on the charts in Australia and has clocked 1.94 million downloads so far.
We'd love to push that over the 2 million download mark, so if you haven't listened yet, please check it out and leave us a review. Then in November, we released The Unthinkable, a new series from renowned true crime authors Vicky Petratis and Emily Webb. This podcast series explores stories of individuals who have experienced unthinkable events, but who have come out the other side stronger and wiser.
The Unthinkable recently hit number one in the Australian podcast charts and episodes will continue to run weekly over the break. Our two other Casefile Presents releases for the year, Troubled Waters and Easy Street, both hit number one on the Australian charts as well. With so many incredible series released this year, there is plenty to keep you busy until Casefile returns.
Our Premium subscribers on Patreon, Spotify Premium and Apple Premium will also continue to receive exclusive episodes of Behind The Files, as well as some new bonus content that we have in the works.
2024 was a significant year for me personally as it marked my first ever live appearances. Back in June I was honoured to join Olivia LaVoiece on stage at CrimeCon in Nashville, followed by an appearance in Melbourne with Vicky Petratis and Emily Webb in November. There will be a couple more live shows in 2025, so be sure to follow us on social media for further updates.
You'll find Casefile on Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok. And you can find me on Instagram @caseys.snaps. While all of these milestones are exciting, we couldn't have done any of it without you, our loyal listeners. The team at Casefile would like to thank each and every one of you for your time, your feedback, and your ongoing support.
It's hard to believe that we're about to embark on our tenth year of the show while being stronger than ever. None of this would have been possible without our audience and we are so incredibly grateful to each and every listener. A special thank you as well to all of our premium supporters whose contributions go a long way to supporting Casefile.
Finally, the entire Casefile team would like to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a safe and happy New Year. See you in 2025.
