Shownotes Transcript

A brand new season of Up and Vanished, premiering February 16th. I've spent the last year in Alaska, on the edge of the Arctic Circle, investigating the bizarre disappearance of an Alaska native woman named Florence Okpiluk. And I've uncovered a long history of corruption in this town. And I've come face to face, on more than one occasion, with individuals I suspect are murderers.

In this new season of Up and Vanished, I'm going to take you step by step through my investigation unlike you've heard before. You're going to hear everything. You're going to learn about a beautiful community that's blatantly being taken advantage of. I invite you to rally with me to find out what happened to Florence Locke Peeluk, fight for justice, and to take down those responsible. On February 16th, a new chapter begins in a brand new season in an all new case.

From Tenderfoot TV in Atlanta, I'm your host Payne Lindsey. And this is Up and Vanish season four in the midnight sun. Here's the trailer. Any words of advice for going to Nome? It's a pretty good town. This time of year, it's windy. It might be windy and rain, but a lot of bars. A lot of bars there. Beautiful ladies. Beautiful ladies. Some of them can never see city. Born and raised there and they never leave the village.

They said they cut her up and hid her by Solomon or something. And so the pieces that I keep putting together, I put a lot of value in these texts. There's a lot of red flags waving, and they're not choosing to recognize that. You took a beautiful person from this earth.

I hope you feel horrible and you feel guilty. I love you. It's okay. There's actual facts that need to be run to ground, that need to be looked into because they're very suspicious. This guy thinks he's playing a game with me right now. We're not playing a game with him. I don't know where he went, but I do know that if I was an investigator, I'd be on his ass like stink on shit.
