I pulled a U and I packed this morning. Yeah. So unlike you. Very, very unlike me. But I was on Long Island all weekend. You're also... I'm going there for like two days. I actually don't have a flight home booked. Yeah. I was just going to feel out when I was going to go home. Chicago forever. Yeah. Like I just was like, okay, I'll go home on Wednesday at some point. That's totally fair. I think you can absolutely feel it out. Yeah. I had the same...

I mean, I didn't pack this morning. I finished packing this morning, but I did the majority of it last night, but at like 11 p.m. because that's when I got home. Yeah, classic Long Island weekend. Yeah, you know, it was stunning. It was such a gorgeous weekend. The weather was beautiful all weekend. It felt like it was end of July with the weather this weekend. It was gorgeous. Sitting on the beach on Sunday.

You were there. You were on the beach Saturday. I was on the beach Sunday. I know. No overlap. We had different beach times. Yeah. I did go to the beach Saturday all day. It was fantastic. I hit two different groups. I got like full. Amazing. Full beach time in. So nice. Two different beaches. Two different groups. I was like, oh my God. What a day. What a day we're having. Yep. And then.

Then went to the movies at night. So it was a perfect little summer Saturday. My favorite. Get a nice little tan. Your son kissed. You go home. You take a little shower. Get cozy. Go to the movies. And you get cozy and you go to the movies. But I felt like I looked like, you know, those kids who wore like the Cookie Monster pajamas in school? Like that's what I felt like I looked on on Sunday. I mean, Saturday, because...

When I go to my parents' house, like, I still have my room there with some clothes in there. Yeah. Oh, you have to dig up the old stuff. So I'm just, like, wearing, like, the most mismatching sweatpants that are, like, above my ankle. Totally. Because I'm like, I'm not going to pack all this stuff. I have that at Joe's mom's house. Not, like, obviously your stuff goes back way longer. But...

I accumulated a lot of stuff, obviously, when I was living in their house during COVID. So I just have like a couple of drawers and some stuff that have stuff in it. And so when I don't bring enough or need something else, I open the drawer. I'm like, oh, my God. I just wear this sweater every so often when I'm here. It's like a time machine. Yeah, it is. It actually is. I brought some clothes back with me that I...

My God. What a sweet angel he is. And it really is a summer of the Irishman. It really is because they are just humble kings. They're taking over. They really are.

They really are. Humbly. And they're doing it humbly. Yes. And they're doing it with their thank yous and their pleases. Yes. They're very polite. Extremely. It was so sweet. He was so, like he cried multiple times during the show. That is amazing. He was so cute. He basically was like, look, like I haven't been here since 2012. Still with One Direction, you know. It was his own two nights sold out. And it was sold out. I was worried when I was looking at it.

The seat like when I bought tickets, I was like, oh, it does kind of seem like there's a lot of seats, but it was a packed house and everybody was so into it. He sounded great. Some great played. He played one One Direction song. He played Night Changes, which had everybody in their in their feels and.

But he was just so grateful. He's like, guys, thank you so much for being here. Like, I know you spend your hard-earned money, and it's not only the ticket, but it's getting here and the drinks and the consent, like, the snack, like, everything. So it was really so sweet. And he also kind of does, like, a little...

Time of the Signs segment. Really? Where he goes out and he looks at everybody's signs and he talks about them and he has a moment and... I wonder where he got that from. Yeah, yes, yes.

Niles been coming to our shows with a disguise on. He was watching all of our vlogs, obviously. And it was so cute. There was this one girl who tweeted at him a couple years ago and was like, when you come to MSG, I'll be front row. And he replied back to her and said, I would if I could.

You know, like just talking about MSG. And it was so cute. And the girl had gotten tickets to the show, but she obviously, like she wasn't front row right away. But either Niall's team or the Garden or whatever, they found her. They moved her to the front row. She had her sign with her tweet on it. That's amazing. It was really, really cute. And then there was another one.

woman that was like here for my for my mom's or grandma's I forget it was mom or grandma's 81st birthday and she was adorable Niall jumped down gave her a hug in the crowd that's adorable it was so cute you could tell he really appreciates it because the fact that he was able to recall that tweet him or his team yeah able to go oh my god I've waited all this time to play Madison Square Garden now I'm here what about that girl who like wanted me to play it was so long ago so I

That is so sweet. So amazing. Was he great? He was great. He was fantastic. He solidified number two. Number two spot? Number two. And it's not even close. It's one and two and a large gap for me now. Because the other ones have attitudes. They do. Totally. Zane's not a humble king like Niall can tell you that. No, he's not. Louis has an attitude? Yes. Does he? Yeah. Yeah. They all got attitudes besides Harry and Niall. Yeah.

Yeah. Louis maybe is a cuspy, but I think he has like an attitude about certain things. If I just guess, I thought he seems like the most innocent. Wasn't Louis the one that got into that fight or was that Liam? One of them put out an album called Nobody's Listening. That was Zayn. That's Zayn. Deep. But everybody is listening to Zayn, you know, so it's like not as... Right, it doesn't cut as hard. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. But my...

I don't know what this haircut is, though, that all these guys are doing these days where they like the bangs. Yeah. It's like the Irish guy, like Paul Mescal has a two kind of haircut.

Which, I don't know how I feel about it. It's not bad, but it's not great. Come on, I can barely see your beautiful face. Move your hair. Push that hair out of your face, honey. Can you tell him his hair looks sexy pushed back? It does. It was a great show. That sounds amazing. We had a lot of fun. We were very glad we went.

And experienced. And had that experience with him. We feel bonded. To kick off Irish boy summer. Exactly. Forget rodent boy summer. No, it is Irish boy summer. And some of those rodents are Irish. So there's a crossover. There is a crossover. There is a crossover. That sounds like a delightful weekend. Yeah, it was great. It was really great. It felt like the first real summer weekend to me. Yeah. So good. It is fucking summer. Yeah. Because it's hot. And it's going to be hot.

We're going into a heat wave. We are going into a heat wave. So in London, they're complaining about a heat wave. Guess what the temperature is. Like 80 degrees Fahrenheit? 78. Oh.

They're complaining about it. But I mean, granted, like a lot of places, like a lot of them don't have air conditioner. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, they're not used to that. Right. But they are complaining about a heat wave of 78. But I'm excited for because I'm going to London very soon. Yeah. And I was like, perfect. That's a perfect temperature for me. I'm becoming a godmother next Sunday.

So as you may recall, a couple years ago, Armie Hammer was accused of being a cannibal and also of many other things. A lot of women that he had talked to came out and talked about their experience with Armie Hammer. And it was not good. Right. I feel like we could qualify it as, you know, a desire thing.

Maybe a desire to be a cannibal. A desire to be a cannibal. Because I feel like there's a distinction between wanting to eat somebody and actually eating somebody. And I think that is weird. Because I don't know if he ever actually, I don't believe he ever actually...

ate a person. No, I don't think he did, but the accusations were that he is... Yes, but it was something that thrilled him. Yes, and they were... I'm pretty sure one of the text messages read, remember, like, I'm straight up a cannibal. Yeah, yeah, right. I'm pretty sure the text messages were like... But I don't think he actually

actually was eating people. Yeah, like I want to cut up your ribs. It got intense. It got intense. And there were multiple women who came out and spoke about their time with Armie Hammer. Yes. Now, recently, Armie Hammer appeared on the Painful Lessons podcast. And now, I guess this podcast is a place where people talk about the hard lessons they learned in life. Well named. And one of them being, you know,

having cannibalism desires from army hammer and he talked about the allegations that you know stuck with his reputation and they and they sure did he said people called me a cannibal and everyone believed them they're like yep that guy ate people like what what are you talking about do you know what you have to do to be a cannibal you have to eat people how am i going to be a cannibal it was bizarre

Um, he also said that there were discrepancies in whatever it was that people said. He was not in a place in his life. Um, now he's at a place in his life where he's grateful every single bit of it. Yeah. I'm actually now at a place where I'm really grateful for it because where I was in my life before all of that stuff happened to me, I didn't feel good. I never felt satisfied. I never had enough. I never was in a place where I was happy with myself, where I had self-esteem.

I never knew how to give myself love. I never knew how to give myself self-validation. But I had this job where I was able to get it from so many people that I never had to learn how to give it to myself. So after all this happened, his career obviously plummeted because people were like, oh my God, this man is a cannibal? Like what? It got out of control.

And then, you know, his marriage fell apart to Elizabeth Chambers. She filed for divorce in July 2020. They share two children together. And he said it was an ego death, a career death. A neutron bomb went off in his life. It killed off everything. And, you know, he also was having some thoughts at the time. He started to feel, you know. Yep. So...

He said he thought there were a lot of times when he thought he couldn't take it anymore. He was getting hate. And, yeah. So...

It got pretty deep, and he got into it about where all of those accusations and his career ending, all of that led him to then end up in a dark place mentally. I feel like we have made it to the time now where he is going to start, like obviously he just did, but where he's going to start talking about all of this stuff. And I don't know if it's because he wants...

necessarily to work again or what he wants to do but yeah he mentioned you know I was able to take my kids pick up my kids at school every day and like all these things is why he kind of like turned it around and saying you know I'm

for everything that happens because it's allowed me to have those certain moments but also like I mean it's crazy everything you have to look back at it I'm sure he has to look back at it at a different perspective for his own sanity but yeah I mean it did absolutely destroy his career and that's it like I don't really know like I don't think I don't really know if the world's ready for like a Armie Hammer redemption story right I don't know yeah he clearly has a hunger for it

I don't know if the world is ready for an Armie Hammer. I hope he has gotten the necessary help that he clearly needed. Yes, I agree with that. I agree with that. I mean, it was such a downfall of Armie Hammer. Yeah, it was. One week I watched Call Me By Your Name and the next week he was a cannibal. Yep. So things got out of control fast. Yep.

We talked about it. Sunday was Father's Day. So we got some posts from JLo to Ben Affleck, our hero. Happy Father's Day. And then everyone was like, OK, but what about the father of your act of your kids? I mean, Ben is their hero. Yeah. And you know what? Here's the thing. People get worked up about that. And they're like, why isn't she posting to the father of her kids?

you don't know what everyone's relationship is like. Right. Like she, you know what I mean? Like I thought the same thing with Kourtney Kardashian. I saw her post. But to Travis and it's like, well, you don't know what Kourtney Kardashian's relationship is to Scott right now. So,

Does she, I'm sure, you know, in person, does she say happy Father's Day? Maybe, but like, you know, it comes to a place where it's like, why does everyone have to post? I don't really think people need to publicly say happy Father's Day to their exes. Yeah, I... Like, I think that's an unnecessary, like, why? Like, they don't need to do that. So that was a post by JLo. John Mulaney posted something where his hand looked like he was wearing a wedding band and then he deleted the post. Now it has everybody speculating. Are him and Olivia Munn married? Was that an accident? Who's to say? He's a father. Happy Father's Day. Yes. He posted a picture of him and his son and I think they were peeling potatoes or something. Just, you know, in the kitchen.

And he had the ring on his finger. Then he deleted it and posted another picture where he wasn't wearing a ring on his finger. So interesting. That's interesting to me to go out of your way to take your ring off to then take another picture. Yeah. A fan wrote, it's weirder that he deleted it than it is for them to get married. TBH. Like it feels weird to go out of your way to hide that you got married.

But it's like, I don't know. If they did, maybe it's something that they want to keep private. It was like an accidental oops. But at the same time, the damage is done, my guy. If that's up for 30 seconds, you're toast. You already posted it. You know? Also, if you want to delete it, okay. Yeah. But then to post a new one without the ring, now you've added more fuel to the fire. Right, exactly. I would just leave it up and have people speculate that we're married without you saying anything. You have to eventually somehow publicly because if you don't, there's always going to be the risk of an interviewer saying like, well, how did that go with that? Like, how'd that end? You know? And now he can say, because I'm sure it was always like when he did press, hey, you know, no, nothing Taylor Swift.

He does this piece. Now it's done. And in the future, it's always like, he's not going to address it again. He already did. Here's where he addressed it. You know? So it's like, he's moving on from it. It's over. It's over.

He doesn't have anything more to say about it than that, which I think was, like you said, the right way to go about it. And he said that he is now in a really great place in his life, professionally and personally. So that's it. That's that. And I think that's totally cool. Atlanta, Georgia and my journey began along the way. I've had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of. I've been blessed to have had a Forrest Gump like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen. I'm constantly pinching myself and asking, how did I get here? And after 23 years, this chapter as a music manager has come to an end.

He then you know he is a long Instagram statement I'm not going to read the whole thing but he does say that in this next chapter I have been honored to join as a board member of HYBE HYBE and serve as the CEO my brilliant partner these past three years.

Chairman Bang has a vision I truly believe in. But even beyond that, he has become a true friend who understands where I must be in my life these days. And that is a father first, a CEO second, and a manager no more. So he says over the past few years, he's been working toward this destination. One of my biggest clients and friends told me that they wanted to spread their wings and go in a new direction. We have been through so much together over the last decade, but instead of being hurt, I saw it as a sign. You see, life doesn't hand you your plan. It hands you God's plan.

So that's very interesting. That could have been like, I don't know. I would assume that's an assumption for sure. I mean, he has massive talent, like could be our underground. But I feel like to me, that's Justin Bieber maybe saying that to him and him being like, OK, if that's the case, maybe it's a time for me to rethink what's going on, which is interesting just to see what happened first. Yeah. And also like when if you have multiple, you know, if you're assuming Justin Bieber, but maybe there's multiple people and they talk with each other and then they talk to Scooter and it's like, yeah, he gets the hint.

Then he wrote some nice moments for some of his artists. And of course, he wrote the most about Justin and Ariana, I will say. His two prized possessions. Yep. His golden children. His gold stars. So, yep. That's the end of Scooter Braun, the music manager.

And I don't think anybody's upset about it. Yeah, it's just like, okay, that's all right. Wipe our hands clean of Scooter. I think Taylor Swift's like popping bottles right now. No, I don't think she is because I think she was put through a torture fucking chamber with Scooter Braun. And I think no matter what, like he already did the damage. So him retiring from music doesn't take back everything that he did. I also feel like he wasn't, there wasn't something bad that happened. He wasn't fired. It was like...

And he's still working. Like now he's just a CEO of a whole nother company. So the crazy thing is all that probably made or definitely made Taylor Swift so much more money. Like in the end, like her, she just put out all these albums again. Obviously. And there's 9 million variations every time she puts out a new album. Yeah. And of course, like every rerecord is dollars. Yeah.

Della's in her bank account. Yeah. And she's thriving and Scooter Braun is wrapping up his career. Yeah. So, you know what? Maybe she's not popping bottles, but at the end of the day, it's like, see ya. Right. You're not going to screw over any more artists. No. And that's that. Yeah. And that wraps up. Going into it, I was expecting a totally different documentary. I thought it was about to be a documentary about how fucking cool their lives were and how cool it was to be in the Brat Pack and to be Rob Lowe and Emilio Estevez and Ally Sheedy and Molly Ringwald and all these people. And it was honestly a little bit of the opposite of that. It was Andrew McCarthy interviewing a lot of people, Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, to talk about their experience because...

to give a little background info, a journalist,

way back in the 1980s, met up with Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, and Rob Lowe for a night out. And it was supposed to be an article about Emilio Estevez. And in this article that this guy ended up publishing, he deemed them the Brat Pack. And this started, I guess, a cycle of some of these actors feeling like this hindered their careers, especially Andrew McCarthy. He said this basically ruined his career. It was a whole thing.

So for majority of the documentary, I was feeling like Andrew McCarthy was like placing blame on this Brat Pack title. 100%. When a lot of them had really gone off to continue to have extremely successful careers. It's a very interesting concept and it was interesting to see. It was very interesting to see his perspective because for him, it obviously really affected him and him.

They're like, he maybe didn't have the most fruitful career that he's

it could be easier to go back and be like well that was why you know and it kind of felt like that's what he was maybe doing yeah putting a lot of blame on this this one article it really totally if it's clearly mentally affected him massively yes it definitely did and affected a lot of them massively but some of them took it and ran with it and some did not rob low is just the fucking coolest like yeah yeah i mean so is demi more to be honest all i mean i

Like 16 Candles, I think I'd seen and Breakfast Club in high school. But other than that, I hadn't ventured out into the other. So then I did like a big watch and like binged a lot of them and watched them all. Yeah, me too. But I really never realized that like this made me, like obviously they were the Brat Pack. They were the Brat Pack. But I never really thought

Like, what that even meant. Right. Like, I kind of just thought that they just happened to all be in the same movies together a lot. Like, I never even thought about it. Like, I never really thought about what that name actually meant. Like, I didn't realize that it was because...

A writer was calling them brats. Right. And I mean, it's a play on the Rat Pack, which is, you know, it flows. But yeah, I remember one night I watched The Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo's Fire. Like I was just sitting in my room because you just start going into a flow of watching all these movies. Still shocking that Noah's never seen The Breakfast Club or a majority of these movies for somebody who loves movies so much.

Very, very shocking. That is actually fucking crazy. It's insane. I don't think you can call yourself a movie guy. You can't. Just because of Breakfast? No. Well, one, actually, yes. For a majority of those movies. Solely that, but you haven't really in any of the John Hughes movies?

I don't think so. It's insane. It was such a pivotal time. In pop culture. It really changed. And he altered movie making. Absolutely. For young adult. I mean, I saw Ferris Bueller, obviously. Yeah, but there's, I mean, you say obviously, but it's like some might say seeing The Breakfast Club would be obviously. What do you think is more iconic? Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club.

It's just the quintessential take on stereotypes in high school.

I mean, Judd Nelson, fist in the air. Yeah. Don't you. How about the way that they ended that? I know, I know. And I'm like, okay, he clearly couldn't get him for an interview. No, he couldn't. But I was not surprised by that one at all. Like, Judd Nelson is not in the public eye really anymore. No, and he never seemed like a friendly guy. I remember reading interviews and stuff about Molly Ringwald and him, and she fucking hated him at some points. Yeah. So it was just extremely interesting. But as I'm watching this, I'm like, all right, Andrew McCarthy really,

really struggled with this. Some of them did, some of them didn't. But at the end, when he meets with this fucking journalist, my God, I just was like, you know what? This journalist is an ass. Yeah, literally like just a prick. I think it was one of the producers that they talked to. I forget who exactly had said it, but they were like,

you know the journalist was 29 years old when he went out and i think he was just jealous no he and he totally was literally what i was about to say is that he said it himself he said i was 29 they were 21 they were cheers and a lot as a whole thing he goes oh you know everyone was swarming looking at rob low it's like you were just jealous for him to even mention he was like i wasn't getting any attention but like of course yes you know it was i was like i was even bring that up that's right like you are of course

you weren't getting attention because Rob Lowe was fucking famous and you were not. He just totally does seem like a prick because not only did he, um...

Did they do that interview? But he also just wrote another article for Vulture. I read the headline. I was the person who named the Brat Pack. I stand by it. I read it and I just rolled my eyes out of my head because this guy was just a prime example of what a journalist troll is like, who is jealous of the people they write about and tries to take them down because they are not living the same life.

Like that is what I took from this, that he went out on a night out on town with Judd Nelson, Emilio and Rob, saw how cool they were, saw that they were living the life. They're making movies. They're living the dream. But at the same time, they're partying girls. Yeah. All of it. They have it all at the palm of their hands. And this guy is going, you know what? Still enjoyed it. Summer House reunion. I honestly don't even have the breath anymore to talk about Summer House. I know, I know. I was really disappointed in this second part, I will say. And not from like the... More so from the Kyle and Amanda stuff than the Lindsay and Carl stuff. I know people were very... Had really strong emotions about the Lindsay and Carl stuff because everyone was like, they're really coming for Lindsay. Yeah.

And even they felt like maybe Andy plays favors with the guys. And that's how a lot of people online were viewing that. That as much was not as difficult because I think, for me personally, I do think Lindsay was spinning a web there. For Lindsay to be like, to say she thought Carl was planning all summer for this ending is insane to me. Yeah, I agree. I mean, there were definitely...

And I mean, who knows what's going to happen this summer? Because there are so many different rumors flying around about literally everybody. So I feel like they're going to start filming soon. I'll give that a B- I saw Inside Out 2 this weekend. Oh, I'm so jealous. Inside Out 2 was amazing. I will say this. Quite a disappointment when we showed up to the theater and realized it was 3D. Oh, shit. Yes. Wait, it's a disappointment? I do not enjoy 3D movies. I don't want to watch a 3D movie anymore. I'm past that age. No, I'm about to say something.

It just did a really, I think, phenomenal job of trying to accurately portray what anxiety is to a younger viewer and also to an older viewer of just being like, man, we can all relate to this. Love it. Spelling out every horrible scenario that you could possibly think of and then joy stepping in and being like, no, let's give Riley good scenarios. But what if this happens? What if that happens? Like, why can't you think of the good stuff instead of thinking of what if the bad stuff happens? So I really enjoyed it. I give Inside Out to a solid A.

And then there's so many other people that are just like irrelevant. It feels they don't really have a storyline going on right now. So there's a couple of triangles that have just been the focus of every single episode that like nothing has really shook things up yet. Um,

And USA is good. USA is good. The girls are making silly decisions. They're playing games. They're kissing people they shouldn't be kissing. There's drama. It's good. I'm liking US a lot. I watched all of Perfect Match up until the last episodes.

What a show. I really, I know there's not a point to it. There's really not. But the drama on this show is unbelievable. And this is a spoiler. So if you're not caught up, don't listen. But Harry Jowsey is such a fascinating human being to me. He really is. Because the attention that he gets...

Well, I mean, 100% they were not together when he was on Dancing with the Stars. No, no, because he was with Riley, or there were a lot of rumors about that. And he also, on his podcast, I think he said, like, it was really hard to go into that show, like, on a relationship, like, with a relationship. Right. But... He's like professing his love to Jess and they're planning the rest of their lives together. And they do a little switch up where the girls go hang out with all the guys that have been out of the house and the guys hang out with all the girls.

There's a split second where you can see like you saw there Melinda and Harry were a little flirty. He was like she was like I gotta go to the bathroom. He's like want me to carry you. He picks her up. He's carrying her and then you can't see them. But one of the other girls goes oh my God did they just kiss? And Melinda is adamant that he kissed her. But it's not on camera I guess.

And now, like, it's a whole big thing. She comes back. She's like, yeah, Harry kissed me. This whole thing. He's looking at my belly. He's like, I want to get you pregnant. Like, crazy things this girl is saying. They're so crazy that it's like, is she really making all this up? Like, she's, it's so wild. You would have quite the creative mind. And Harry is like,

So I'm interested to see how it ends because there's been some crazy drama and Micah's been in a lot of drama too. I will give that a B. I do like Perfect Match. Like I said, there is literally no point because it's like you win, you get to go on a vacation. But it's just like you get to be on TV. It's entertainment. have mixed emotions about this season, I will say. And I loved Penelope and Colin's story, but I just feel like we didn't get enough of them. There wasn't enough focus. When Penelope's identity is revealed and Colin finds out, like, I thought there would be so much more dramatic, so much more working through it, all these things. Like, as Lady Wisdom? Yeah, yeah. And it's just like... It's so funny how I know what's going on without watching it. Yeah, you do, yeah, totally. And it just, like, didn't... I don't know, it just... They kind of reconciled and it was okay, but...

but I just felt like there wasn't enough time for them to really get the full, like work out the, it's kind of like when they find out gossip girl and it was like, fine. Yeah. It was like, what, what do you mean? He's been writing these stories about you this whole time. Yeah. I saw a lot of people complaining about like too many side plots this season. And there's always been side plots. The side plots just need to be worthwhile is the thing. Like previous seasons, they've been worthwhile this season. I just felt like they weren't. They,

They seem kind of pointless. It was hard to follow. Like there wasn't a point to it. I, and I, I, I have not read all the books, so I don't know. There's people out there that have read all the books and they're loyal to the books and they're pissed because they're changing a lot of things from the books. And like Benedict's whole side plot, this entire season was just threesome. That was it. Sex sells. That was it. That was it. Threesome. Um,

And yes, like, he's exploring his sexuality and all those things, and that's great, but there wasn't enough... Like, nobody's story... They didn't give anyone's story enough time to really give it enough substance, I felt. And...

I wish Colin and Penelope had gotten more time because I think they're great, but it just moved really fast and there just wasn't... There's too many other things going on. Francesca was a big focus as well, but it's like they were setting up because I guess maybe Francesca's going to be the next season. Now this is... People...

I think there's maybe a different showrunner. Something changed, but they're happy and some people are pumped about it. Some people are not. It's torn TikTok apart from what I've seen. And there's just people that are book loyalists and they want it to be how it is in the book. And when people take creative liberties for a show, they get upset. Now, are the creative liberties for the greater good? Maybe. But it still bothers people. Francesca's storyline is that she... I don't want to give too much away for obviously the next season, but...

She finds somebody and his name is Michael. And at the end of season three, Francesca meets Michaela.

So everyone's like, oh, wow. Okay. This is flipping this completely. Gotcha. And people have strong opinions on that. So there are changing some things, which you're going to do when you're working with books. But I just felt like this season didn't have the juice. It wasn't organized properly in my full opinion. So I'll give Bridgerton as a whole three.

And not to say I didn't watch it all in like one sitting. It had my attention fully. But looking back on it, I felt like they could have done it better. So I'm going to give it like a B minus. Okay. Still.

Still a good score. Yeah, totally still good. And you have not read the books. I've only read the first one. So you don't have that strong of an opinion on them changing stuff because you're not so attached to the books. I'm not totally attached to the characters because I never read the books. But for the people that love the books and want to see the story in the book on the big screen, it's going to be different. Yeah, that would be like any other book that you've read. Yeah, exactly. Like if I loved a book and then they said, oh, we're making a movie out of this book

But it's we're changing this. Like you'd be like, well, wait, what? Yeah. So that's my thoughts about Bridgerton. And that's everything I watched. All right. Good. Good watch week. Yeah, I watched. So I was I had a lot of free time this weekend. I feel like but there was just good new stuff. Yeah, there was was there definitely was.

I watched this Dakota Johnson movie called Am I Okay? I've seen a lot of people posting about Max. How was it? Which I thought, I just looked it up again and I thought it was 2024, but it was 2022. So it's been out. Oh, interesting. It's not like a new movie, but it was good. I can't say I've seen a lot of movies with her that I enjoy, but this one was good. It's definitely like a semi-serious movie. Yeah.

But I thought she was very good in it. So I'll give it a B minus. Dark Matter. Still watching that. Very good. Probably my favorite show right now. Apple TV. Can I pause you for a second? Dakota Johnson. Was she Girl on the Train or who played Girl on the Train? No, that was Rudy Mara. Yeah. Yeah. I'll give Dark Matter a B. This week's. I'll give it a B.

The Boys is back. You guys don't watch that, right? No. Let me tell you something. I have tried to watch The Boys three times. Three separate times over the course of like the last three years. I've watched maybe to like episode four or five. Yeah. And every time I just, it just kind of, like I just like forget about it. I remember. I've done it multiple times. Like I've, I think I've watched the pilot episode like four times. Yeah.

I remember I also watched a couple of the episodes and I liked it but then I never continued. I don't know what it was. And like every time I'd watch the pilot I'd be like that was good and then I just like I just wouldn't keep going. It's good. Sometimes it's like that you know. Yeah. This is the last season. Um.

It wasn't amazing. I think it'll pick up, hopefully. But I'll give the first three a B+. It's just a fun show to watch. Good score. Presume Innocent, the new Jake Gyllenhaal show on Apple TV. How was that? I watched the first two episodes. Good, good. Nobody loves Apple TV more than Noah. Apple TV's got good shows. They do. Yeah, I'll give it a B. It's...

Do you know like what it's about or? My parents were talking about it this weekend. They started watching it. Like a lawyer was murdered and Jake Gyllenhaal is a lawyer as well. And he was having an affair with that lawyer. And then it was found out that she's like pregnant. But so people think that Jake Gyllenhaal murdered her and it's him trying to prove himself to be innocent. But yeah, I'll give it a B. And also like he's just a great actor. So.

House of Dragon I watched last night, season two. Yeah, it's back. I didn't get to watch the premiere. I think I wasn't fully paying attention, so I just have to preface it with that. Okay. Because it was boring in my eyes. I was just like, come on. Yeah, I mean, the beginning of a season, though, I feel like it's always, especially with those shows. Yeah, I don't know. I also feel like I'm not that, I don't remember what happened last season. Even I watched the recap and I'm like,

I don't really even know. I think a lot of people are joking about that online. I can tell you one name of a character. Neither could I. I can kind of follow along, but I don't know. I'm not connected to the characters like I was in Game of Thrones. I don't know why. But it's still like, I'm hoping it'll pick up, but I'm going to give this one a C+. Okay.

It's fine. That's it. Okie dokie. That's everything we watched this week. I'm excited for the second season. I feel like with Game of Thrones, granted, this show will probably not go as many seasons as Game of Thrones did, but...

Game of Thrones the first season into like it didn't really like hook me in until like the third season they did do a great job with the marketing I will say yeah they did I went home this weekend I went to Grand Central and they had just a giant like bigger than this room dragon head just like in the middle of Grand Central yeah they were kind of all over the city that's really cool yeah it's very cool alright that's everything we watched
