I have so many things I want to go over really quick. Just like I think we should just do a little recap of what's been going on lately and big things in our world. And I think a big thing in my world right now is Love Island USA. Yeah, I am so addicted to this Love Island show. We were supposed to go out last night. We fully had like dinner reservations and I was like cancel all the plans and
We need to watch Love Island. No, it's really so good. It's addicting. Like, I am obsessed with it. And this season is crazy. I feel like Love Island USA is usually not the one. No, usually UK, like with Luca and Gemma, that season was so good. That was really good. That was the only one I've ever watched before. Yeah, me too. Aw, look at us. Wait, stop.
Stop. Sorry, I like to play footsies. Ashton's literally putting her toes in between my toes right now. Stop it. Sorry, I like to touch. Keep those long legs to yourself, teeny. But Love Island's really, really good. And I think another thing that's been exciting me this week is...
everyone exposing everyone online. Just like everyone is just ripping into each other with these 50-part series. It's crazy. We had Sienna on the podcast and she like... Which she was so respectful about Cody, her ex. And apparently he like live streamed the podcast on Twitch. That's like crazy. She's such a respectful queen. Like she...
If I was in her situation, like we all know fire would have been coming out of my head at this point. And she was just like so like respectful and nice. I was like, you wouldn't even have thought he did anything wrong to her. She's like such a good person. Yeah, no, we love her. And after we went out that night, so like we had Tiana on the podcast and then I did a boat party last week and she came out with me and it was, she was so much fun and like so nice and got along with everyone. And you know when you can like,
someone out, but you don't have to, like, feel responsible for them. Like, she was, yeah. She was, like, I was, like, come pregame with me and my friends, and there was, like, maybe 30 people in our house because, like, all my friends were going on this boat pregaming, and I was running around. Ashton just got back from Vegas. Mm-hmm.
so she literally is showering what do you have like sunglasses on matted to her head yeah i showered with sunglasses on my head because we got straight off the plane from me i smelled like vegas in my room and she's like i don't have anything to wear so i'm trying to get ashton dress of course
One thing about Ashton is she steals my outfits and then wears them so much better and everyone's like, it looks so good. I don't wear them better than you. You do. No. You look so cool in them. And then I'm always like, wait, it's mine. Actually, I'm sorry. Hypocrite. I just went to touch Ashton's toes with my toes. So we had this boat party last week, which was kind of a...
It wasn't really supposed to happen. The whole time I was supposed to be having a hot mess party for this boat, but there was so much problems with like insurance and they were like, let's just do it at a different venue.
and like my thing is if we're doing a party and this is my first party that I've ever hosted that's like a like people coming that I don't know besides like friends and family you know I'm like this is like an event this is my first event and I feel like a lot of my brand is that I go out and party so like I can't have a lame party like that's just like that would stress me out more than anything else so so we kind of had like a test run party so we did a
little test run it was so perfect and so much fun it was honestly like it was the best night ever it was the perfect night like everything about it was so perfect and we're going tonight's the hot mess party so i guess next week we'll like recap you guys on how it goes but i hope it's gonna be fun i've seen so much stuff on my for you page of people like freaking out about buying tickets and really yes wait so the problem so the good thing about the boat is it's super cool and like
Who else is doing a big boat party? The bad thing about doing a boat party is there's like a cap on how many people you can have there. Otherwise, it's like people may go like it's illegal. So wouldn't be able to happen. So the tickets were very limited. And the reason we did tickets was we're donating the money to the food shelter in East Hampton. Oh, really? I didn't know that.
Yeah, because I mean, I didn't want to like charge people to come. Yeah. But the problem was is there had to be something to like hold people accountable for a ticket. Otherwise, it would have just been like a disaster because with a boat we can like it's literally like names on a list and like it has to be the exact amount of people. So we didn't want to like have people RSVP and then not show up and then people
people come and not be able to get on the boat so that's why we had to do tickets i was nervous that like i was gonna throw an event or something and like no one was gonna buy tickets it sold out in two minutes it was like 64 000 people trying to get like 100 and something tickets it was crazy well now you just need to have a bigger no i already i think
I think I want to do a tour of parties. Like the Bender. Big Gal Bender. Big Gal Bender. So. That would be really fun. Coming to party in a city near you. You have to have one in New Orleans. Yes. Like, I just would love to go all around the world and throw parties. And throw parties for all your girl girls. It's happening. Let me know if you guys want this to happen. Wait, that would be so fun. And then John DJ'd, which was so much fun. Speaking of John. Yeah.
Ashton is convincing us all to go to Europe with her next week. We were supposed to... This was the end of the month. We were supposed to be going after the Hamptons back to Miami. And now, all of a sudden, she's taking us to where? Where are we going? We're going to Mykonos and then Sardinia. Because... Well...
I've been wanting to go to Sardinia since I left Florence because all my friends from Italy go every summer and they get a villa and they party and they do all this fun stuff and they're like, you have to come. We go every summer. It's the best thing ever. So I've been wanting to go. And then Mykonos just happens to be like the week before my friends are going to Sardinia. So I was like, let's go to Mykonos and then go to Sardinia after.
and like what a lineup there i'm so just happens to be the week before my friends are going to start so i'm like quick little last minute europe trip we booked our flights to mykonos what like well we booked flights to and from europe but we have no place to stay and no travel in between we just booked a flight from like america to mykonos and
and from Sardinia back to America. It's a very like spontaneous summer. We've, you know, we have been having the most summer summer I've ever had. This summer has been so summer. Like it feels summery. You know, I don't know how to explain it. Like, I feel like I'm a little kid again. Like I'm like giddy about every summer. It's just always kind of like, well,
or like whatever. You're like back home from college. You're like excited for summer, but then it's like. It never lives up to that. Like I feel like we're like living on a bucket list right now and just like checking it out. Like I don't know the last time I had like a summer like this. Me neither. Like I've been so spontaneous too with like my trips. Like I booked Vegas three days before I left. We're just like, yes. It's a say yes summer. Oh, I've been saying yes ever.
everything while we've been in montauk i feel like we should give a little bit of about a routine being here but it's so cute it's like a surfer town here it's like you can walk right into the town it's really really small and my house is like two houses down from one of my best friends from college so every day we just all walk together we go get coffee we work out we do work at the house here which is nice or pool beach we'll pool we're taking surfing lessons next week
I'm so excited. Yeah, Ashton's going to be off in a while. I want to take surfing lessons. It's so fun. Have you ever surfed? Like when we were younger at like the inlet. Really? I feel like that was just like boogie boarding. Oh, no. All my boyfriends would teach me how to surf in high school. Yeah, like...
Remember? No. Like my middle school boyfriends. They would always like take me to go surfing with them and then they'd try to teach me and I'd be like, oh my god, I'm so bad. Like help me. I didn't know about this. Yeah. We'd always go to the beach and like watch them surf and then I'd be like, oh my god, teach me. And I'd be horrible. But it's so fun. It is really fun and I only have surfed once and it was here last summer. I'm just a little scared of the sea life. I'm not gonna lie. The sea life? Because like what's up?
like the sharks yeah are there actual sharks yeah there's sharks here and what's up with the sea life like my everything i read is about shark attacks and like why do you keep saying sea life i feel like that's a really weird way to describe it out of the window here we can see the ocean i've seen a whale not that far off from the beach and i saw dolphins you saw a whale yes and it was blowing water out its top
And yeah, there's a lot of sea life here. So that's why I'm a little nervous. Like, I don't want to get knocked off my surfboard by a whale. It's not a whale. It's just me. No, but seriously, like I, I also don't like the fact about surfing that you are attached to a board.
Yeah, because they can pull you under. That's happened to me a few times. I would rather not be attached to it. Where you like, if you fall off and then a big wave hits you and it like pulls the board and then it pulls you. I was having severe anxiety the whole time that we surfed last summer, but I enjoyed it. So I want to do it again. But I was actually pretty good. I had a pretty good balance. Yeah. Yeah. But summer has been summering and with summer comes summer depression. Oh, yeah.
summer time sadness literally i always get depressed in the summer but i feel like it's mostly when i'm like at home like at like mom's house i don't know what it is about summer i'm never depressed i'm like really a positive person i'm usually good and i've been taking my lexapro because i thought for a second i was like have i been off my lexapro and i'm like no i'm not
as much of things have been great this summer this happens to me every summer without a doubt and i think it's because i have too much time to think yeah probably like i think i why do you think i'm so depressed all the time i don't know i have too much time to think i we gotta stay busy we gotta stay busy but every summer without a doubt i'm like crying i don't feel good like i don't know and mine didn't really hit me my summer depression until
We got here. And like at first I was overthinking that everyone hated me. Yeah, you kept saying that to me every time I like come over. Alex is like, do you hate me? Like, do you still love me? Are we still friends? And I'm like, yes, obviously. You're so quiet. What do you mean? You don't like talk. You just sit in your room and like lock the door or you sit in the corner and just like don't say a word. And I'm like, Ashton. Well, sometimes I go mute and that's just who I am.
But it's like concerning, no? No. Okay. I just think in my head and I forget to speak to people sometimes. Yeah, well, in my head, I'm like, stop. You're just jealous because I've been hanging out with your friends. Okay. Don't even get me started on this.
Another thing that's been pissing me off is Ashton has been being friends with all my friends. Well, we're all friends now. We are all friends and we've always all been friends. But it's never been like where Ashton's hanging out with my friends without me. Well, it's not like you're not invited. You're just so busy all the time. You were in Europe for three weeks and obviously we were still going to do things. We weren't just going to sit on our asses waiting for you to come back. But it's rude. We have lives too. But I...
introduce you guys so you shouldn't be doing something that i would want to be out i feel like we just talked about this in the friends episode where we like get happy when our friends become friends and hang out you said that not me i'm kidding but like i do want everyone to be friends but it's like you just have fomo is what you have well
Which is valid. That's a disease. And you should be catering to it and not doing things without me. It's a part of life. It builds character. And then everyone's like, Ashton's so cool. Like, whatever. Like, she was hanging out with Jake. She's been hanging out with all my friends. I love Jake. Yeah. I'm so glad we became friends. Whatever. You know what? Even who introduced you to John. I forget. She's stealing my life.
I'm stealing your life. And it's not helping with my summer depression. Okay. No, but seriously, we were on like a family boat yesterday and my parents texted us both after and they were like, are you and Ashton okay? Like we came to visit you guys this weekend and me and Ashton both were mute the whole day yesterday and just in the corner of the boat like sitting there. I just wanted...
I don't know. It's been for me. It's like I'm in a good mood and then something like makes me sad and then I like go mute and like don't want to speak. And I've never had that feeling before. So what is it? So what is it? Sad girl here. Sad girl here. That is just...
Just like sadness. It's just like when I feel like it's when you have so much going on and then you have like nothing going on for a little bit is especially when it hits me. And it's just kind of like that in between time your body's kind of like taking a break. No, no. But I'm saying like I get like a thought in my head like that makes me upset and I can't get out of the mood. I'm like that is just the whole day. Well, that's just like it just happens, you know, but I usually don't get sad. So I don't know. I'm always sad.
In a good way. I'm like, in a good way, though. I don't understand that. But, like, I'm depressed all year round. It's not just summer. You're not depressed. Don't say that. You've been saying that this entire episode. No, I haven't. I said I have summer depression. Yeah. Okay, but, like... I'm not depressed, but, like, I'd be depressed. This is, like, a thing where, like, my family gets, like, concerned about us. Well, last summer was really bad. No, okay, well, last summer she, like, was very depressed and...
It's just like anytime she like does answer any of us, we're all like, Ashton. If I'm not being like super like talkative or whatever, everyone's like, Ashton's depressed again. Dad's calling me. He's like, why are you so depressed? I'm like, I'm fine. And then she gets more like annoyed that we're all like... And then I'm like, shut up. And then I get annoyed and don't talk to anyone. And then I get really depressed. Yeah. Well, this is like...
Summer is truly the only time, which I feel like it's weird because I feel like people get winter depression. Summer is the only time that I get like a little sad. As much, I'm having so much fun right now and I'm not complaining about anything. I'm so happy. But like internally, something just goes off inside of me where I like, I get so sad. Well, I feel like especially as someone in college, like going to college,
going from like living your independent life in college and I've been so good with like my own routine and everything like getting everything done at school and then you come home and you're like in your parents house and you're back in like your childhood bedroom and like your hometown you have to see all the ops from all the ops from high school and even like middle school and it's just like you get you like revert back to like
that place where you were like before you've like grown so much yeah i think does it for me a lot is like i'm back in like this mental state that i wasn't in like high school and it's just like you feel so like trapped yeah you like go you're like a different person and then you come back home and you're like omg and it's like you lose that sense of like independence and like omg
I just don't know why I said that. You're just like, OMG. I'm literally just like, OMG. No, actually though, like the beginning of the summer when I was home for like two weeks at mom's house, I was just like, I had nothing to do that day. I laid out by the pool. I like did a little workout and then it was like 4 p.m. hit and I like went in my room and the lights were off. I laid face down in my pillow for like two hours and mom walks in and she's like, why do you always do this? She's like, why are you always sad? I'm like, yeah, I'm like sitting there like on the verge of tears. I'm like, I don't,
know i hated coming home from college for long periods of times but i do like seeing my family it's yeah and coming home and i think once i graduated now i appreciate being home more but when you're in college you just feel so like i don't know you're like oh shit you're like losing your independence yeah and yeah because that is your home i don't know i don't know i'm like you guys get it

We never talked about exposing people with 50-part series. High school just made me think of it.
I wish I had someone to expose in a 50-part series. If I was like, you had to expose someone in a 50-part series on TikTok, who would it be? Oh. Me? Like, probably. You're my biggest op. Stop. No.
I don't think I have anyone, anything good that I could expose. Really? I know exactly who I would expose. And I always say I'm waiting for the day that they say something about me and then I'm just going to fire off like a cannon and be like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Yeah, you're brutal like that. I'm not. I don't like, I don't know. That's personally, even if I did have someone to say something about, I don't think that's the route I personally would take. But don't you think people should be held accountable for their shitty actions? No, because I feel like...
especially like well like yes people should be held accountable for their actions but i believe in karma like what okay but karma always takes so mother effing long yeah but like that's the whole thing you just have to like no don't you feel like some of the people who are the sneakiest never get their karma they like sneak right around it it'll come one day will it everything everything works out when we were at bounce last weekend and i was uh what did we do we were with
Oh, that guy that Remy was with. He came over to the table and he was just kind of being like an asshole. Like, you know when a guy's just like being an asshole? All the time.
He was just like being rude and cocky and like whatever and then he was like, can I take a photo with you? And I was like, okay, so I like leaned over smile He's like i'm gonna send this to my ex-girlfriend and like make her mad and like Then he continued to just be an asshole and then that really rubbed me in the wrong way and I was like I don't want this nice girl to think that like you're like Talking shit about her with her shitty ex-boyfriend. So I was in my get ready with me and I was like
da da da if your accent a picture like he's the worst whatever i just wanted to let the girl know i just was trying to be nice and then i see that this guy then posts the photo on a story and says alex earl smells and because i posted about that stupid puke dress that's really funny everyone's like we knew it we knew she smells actually i smell really good so right
mm-hmm oh my god please no i'm kidding don't like people i'm fueling the fire run with it i know i i'm so clean look i just showered she's like look guys my hair's wet i showered i swear but ashton did come for me this morning because i said that i wanted to get a dog and okay i really want a little blonde wiener dog
But apparently, bad idea because I'm traveling a lot. I mean, I know it's a bad idea, but I feel like that's a small dog to where I could take it with me in my purse. But even when you're traveling, you're going to events and things where you can't have a dog with you. I know, I know. I just want a little doggie. But... Who goes there? But I was trying to make a point this morning that I could be a responsible dog owner. And Ashton's like, no, you don't. You don't take care of yourself. Look at your eyebrows and look at your nails. Okay.
I said it came for me at nine in the morning this morning I said what kind of comment is that sorry I don't have nails on right now I said you don't even have time to take care of yourself fully okay sometimes I say things without thinking and they come off really mean but they're not like with malicious intent I'm just very oh my god it's Braxton creeping around the corner I was like I hear keys jingling and tiptoes what are you doing
huh i'm gonna go get the food i like that shirt who said into the mic okay she did violate you this morning though braxton braxton saw this she goes she can't has a dog she can't have a dog look at her nails and look at her eyebrows she goes alex look at your nails it was violating i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry
I do do that sometimes. I'll just like randomly say something and I don't mean it to be mean, but it comes off so mean. I should work on that. I make jokes a lot. I make bad jokes. That's the problem. They're not funny. So everyone's just like, what the fuck? And I'm like, oh my God.
I think it's like an Earl thing. We're just not funny. That's the problem. We're not funny or we like don't have facial expressions when we talk. Oh, yeah. And it's just like we have really bad RBFs. But we're so nice. But I probably look like I'm miserable. I get that a lot with the RBF thing. I don't understand though. And people are always like, what are you guys doing? Like every, I don't understand. Everyone's like, oh, smiling all the time. Yeah. When you're talking. Hey guys, what's up? I don't trust the people that come up to you and they're like, hi, hi there.
Oh my god. Everyone's having a great day. I don't trust them. Those are fake people. We're real because we're bitches. No, we're not bitches. No. We just look like them. Yeah. It's hard. I don't know. And I actually can move my face a lot more now because I haven't been getting Botox. Oh, this has been a big topic in your life. Yes. So...
She wants more. I haven't, I quit Botox because the last time I got it in January and I was permanent perma sniffing like a fart the whole time. My face was stuck. I was perma sniffing a fart and I was like this Botox, not for me. I felt claustrophobic and now I'm looking in the mirror and
And I don't think I need a lot, but I think a little bit. And I just want a little bit because I'm feeling now like it kind of gives you that snatch. Yeah. It even makes your skin look better. Yeah. It does. I'm like my forehead right now. Yeah. I could use just a little bit. But I actually cannot be stuck like that again. How much? How many units did you get? I don't know. And was it Botox or was it? No, it was Botox because there's like a there's a less one. There's Jovo. What's it called?
and then it's not that zeman zeman i got zeman which is like a baby botox so it's like less but then i got the full-blown big b botox and i was stuck and i didn't like it i am a fan of botox baby botox well ashton's job last summer was like helping inject people it was so fun i miss it i want to go back you learned so much about all of that do you still think you're gonna do that
What are you going to do when you graduate? Hey guys, let's not ask this question. Let's not do the, what are you doing with your life? Because. Okay, fine, fine. I quit. We don't know. I lied. Speaking of you going back to school, one of two things. One, everyone wants to know if you're going to bring John to Kappa Kappa Gamma date party. That would, no. Like those TikToks are so funny to me. Obviously that's not going to happen. Like that's just hilarious though. I actually feel like it would be the opposite where Ashton's like, no, this isn't happening. And he's like,
bring me definitely not ever happening but that's like really funny those bring me to a capa capa date party i never got to go to date parties in college because i was please because i hate bringing dates please come with me okay i'll go yay okay yes i never got to go to the sorority date parties because i dropped oh yeah honestly yeah whatever they're not that great but i would love to these are stupid
no let my sorority go kappa um is that the sign it's like okay whatever um but we're also going to be doing long distance again soon no i don't know because we not i don't know how we're gonna separate and like doing long distance is so hard with like a boyfriend too but like friends especially i know it's so hard especially because like
I'm really bad at like texting people and calling people. I'm the worst. When I'm at school, I like barely talk to my home friends or when I'm at home, I barely talk to my school friends and everyone's like, what is wrong with you? And I'm like, I'm just the worst person ever. I don't know. I'm worse. I mean, I'm bad, but Ashton's definitely worse. You don't even talk in real life though.
Yeah. You really just got to like pull it out of me. Yeah. But I will say the one thing that helps is like our group chat. So like we have a group chat that's like me, my friends and Ashton. And then I also have a group chat with like my friends from college. And I'll say the group chat is like the only way that I know what's going on in anyone's life. It's like a good group chat. Yeah.
will help with communication and not drifting. I agree. Because we just text anything we think at any moment of the day. Yeah, it's like life updates, and then it's like one person's texting, and then other people text, and then you kind of just like read up on everyone's lives, stay connected, send funny jokes. Another thing with long distance is everyone's going back to college, or some people are like probably starting college, and I've run into a few girls, and they've been like, should I break up with my boyfriend before college? That's like a toughie, obviously. Yeah.
But I feel like you shouldn't get into a relationship right before. Like if you're about to like start dating someone and like you know you're going to college in a few months, like probably just shouldn't. Yeah. I'm always for like.
Don't you feel like college is such, like, an experimental time of your life? Yeah. Where you should be single? Like, yes and no. And not... I'm not saying single in the way of, like, you need to go there and, like, go be a little hoe. Yeah. I'm saying it's just, like, different. Like, you don't have to respond to someone. Like, you're just with your friends. Like, you're not worried. Like, you're just more in the moment when you are single. I had a boyfriend when... A long-distance boyfriend when I started college. And...
It was great. Like we like made it work. I would text him all the time, call him all the time, but I didn't really care about meeting new people or going out as much. And even now I'm still like my friends at school are like, yeah, this person, blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, who is that? And they're like, you know them. And I'm like, no, I don't. Like I missed out on so much just like
like meeting people and like all these experiences and events. And I didn't even realize I was like missing out at the time. No, because you don't think so. You're just like, oh, I don't want to go. Like you don't have the urge to like go out or do things. Yeah, I had no desire to like go out or do anything or meet new people. And I went to a school where I didn't know anyone either. So like I really should have been working on meeting people, but...
No, I, like, stayed in a lot and, like, just didn't really care about other people. I would just, like, hang out with, like, my friends that I had and, like, you know, I wasn't really getting out there and meeting people doing shit. And that was 100% because I had a long-distance boyfriend. Like, I just didn't care about, like, that. And then...
once we broke up, I like kind of had to like shift my perspective a little bit. And like, oh my God, Ashton's fun. She goes out. Yeah. I mean, this is kind of off topic, but I was like with my friends the other day and I was like, my personality like really died for a minute there. Yeah. Right. He was sucking the soul out of you. And like, it wasn't that like he did anything bad, but you know, it was just like all I really like
gave was like to him like i wasn't really like you know like living my life i was just like living through him anyway that's off topic but yeah i think it especially if it's a long distance boyfriend like maybe i just feel like the person you are in high school and the person
you become when you're in college and even like just think about like how different you are senior year of high school from freshman year of high school like college is that times like 20 because you're on your own you're meeting new people like you like really start to like form into who you are and i feel like once you graduate and even after you graduate like you see everyone go on their different paths like there's people you're friends with in college but after everyone kind of like goes their separate way and like everyone follows like what they're passionate about or
I don't know. I just think it's such a detrimental time of your life to be like out there meeting people and doing stuff. And I sometimes think a boyfriend can hold you back. Definitely. But like, it's so hard to preach this stuff sometimes because like, yeah, you can only say so much to someone. Like you can't make someone break up with their boyfriend. It's not that it's not the person. It's just like not the time. Or at least I feel like in the beginning.
It's like hard because, you know, in relationships you learn a lot and you can grow a lot from even if they don't work out. Yeah, that's true too. I did a long distance relationship too, but we broke up literally the month before I went to college, thank God. But remember Jeannie and Chad? When I was in high school, I was doing long distance with someone who was in college, which I don't know what I was doing. And then half of our long distance relationship happened
we were in an open relationship which yeah that was really dumb like because i was like god if i let him be in an open relationship and just experience college then like he'll love me so much more like no he's loving the girls that he's getting with at college and he's having his cake and eating it too yeah and i was just dumb dumb and i was like yeah like you can come home to me and we'll still be together but like you can go get with girls at school because i know you need that vital college experience
I just was being so generous. But see, you learned from that. I learned and now I'm literally the complete opposite. But then he did cheat on me the other half of the relationship. So it's like, he would cheat on you when he was home, which is really funny. Exactly. The one time he had to be loyal to you, he would cheat on you. I'm like, just come home and hang out with me. And he would literally come back to New Jersey and cheat on me in New Jersey too. I was like, wait a minute.
Yeah. So anyone who thinks that like letting them go and like doing an open relationship to that's not going to work either, because the only thing it does is train them to think that it's OK to talk or get with other people while being with you.
Cause that's what happened. Cause then we started like really dating after and I was like, no open relationship. But then he was only used to like talking to me and a million other girls at one time. Yeah. So that was a mistake. Let's talk about ways that long distance relationships do work. Oh,
Okay. You know, let's like stop being so negative for like five seconds. No, no. Because we definitely have some people in a long distance relationship. No, I definitely think they can work. I made it work for like three years and it was good for the most part. And we broke up for other reasons. But I feel like when you're doing long distance, you're like texting like 24 seven. That's at least how I felt most comfortable. I felt most comfortable. Yeah.
Yeah, that was how I felt most comfortable in, like, a long-distance relationship was when, like, we were just, like, texting each other, even if it was, like, I'm going to get coffee, I'm going to the gym, like, or, like, calling whenever, like, you can and just, like, kind of, like, updating them. I always think, too, like, having a set time that you're going to go, like, visit them or just see each other in general, like, knowing that there's a date to look forward to is so much better than just, like, out of the woods nowhere. Yeah.
I agree with that. I would always try to like see him like once every month and a half, two months, just so like we had something to look forward to and like plans and then we get all excited, plan little dates. Yeah. I also think with long distance, like some people know like they have to move away for work for like a year. Like that's something that's so doable. You know what I mean? Yeah, like you have an end date. Yeah, I don't know. I just think
in general like would i date someone who lives completely opposite of me i don't know like start to finish if you're never going to be in the same place but like that was something braxton and i dealt with this year because he signed again with the dolphins but after his first year with the dolphins he didn't know because he had a one-year contract if he was going to be back in florida or back like literally with any other team anywhere else
And that was like a question was if he moved he would have had to move for half of the year Like would i've done long distance with him for half of the year and like My mindset kind of going into that was like I don't I don't know just because like we're both so busy so like I don't know like when we would be able to see each other and like
I just think, I don't know, at least in like the first like year of dating someone, I feel like it's kind of important to be with them and be around them because you like learn so much about each other. Yeah, it's when you're like getting to know each other and like getting close and like really learning. Obviously, we don't have to deal with that, thank God, but it's always so much easier said than done. You could be like, oh no, I wasn't going to do it, but then it's like, well, I probably would have. Yeah. And now we're doing, well, we're not doing long distance, but Braxton's about to start training camp.
for football so he's gonna be locked away for like all of august so braxton's leaving on sunday oh my god tomorrow what he just got here i know he only got to come for like three days um so he's leaving tomorrow and then reporting to training camp and we're gonna be in europe and then i have some stuff for work after that i'm going back to new york so we're not gonna i'm not gonna see him for like three weeks three or four weeks
Which is a long time for us. Wait, I'm sad. But I feel like we do a pretty good job at like... Yeah, you call him like... We have like a set schedule of like when we're apart from each other. Maybe we should just wait and let's have Braxton on right now. And I'll just... We'll ask him how I do on distance with my communication. Yeah, with your communication skills. I really try to turn it on. Okay, let's have Braxton on. Let's get him in hot seat. Let's get BB in here.

So now that we're moving into a long distance relationship over the next three weeks, how are you going to deal with this? Missing me so much? Is that serious? We have to start that. What are you talking about?
When you're going to training camp. I know, but the longest relationship. He keeps saying, I have to report. So what goes on in this camp? Who are you leaving me for? I mean, the thing is, it's... Tell me all about her. So she is... Wait. She is hard. It's just, honestly, it's football. And it's football as much, but it's as much 24-7 as you can get. So we'll have an off day every either fifth or sixth day. But I think it's every fifth day we can have an off day.
But on the on days, like it's over 12 hours in the facility getting treatment on your body, meetings, lifting, practice, more meetings, walkthroughs. And we'll go from, you know, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. ish, you know, straight every day. So this is like the preseason before. Yeah. So this is our season starts. Yeah. So this is our training camp.
So we report Tuesday, and it's called a report date, so that's why I keep saying that. We report Tuesday, and it'll be five and a half weeks straight of training. We'll have three preseason games during it, and yeah, it'll just be five and a half weeks of typically that schedule. Are those all the preseason games? Yeah, you only have three. You used to have four. They added a regular season game two years ago. Why do I feel like there was more last year? I'm making things up. There's only three. Hmm.
When you got cracked in the head. Yeah, I got split open by a knee. The first, so I guess the first football game I ever saw you play in was the first preseason game last year. And I was like so excited. I was at home. My parents obviously had met Braxton at this point, but we weren't like dating yet. But I was like, I think we should just like put it on the TV. And my family like had never really watched a football game before this. At least like my dad. My mom loves football. My dad was like so out of the loop with everything. So I put on this game. I like...
i bought every single nfl app package because like these games aren't streamed how like the normal nfl games are and i was like how do i get this pre-season like i know there's a way to watch it so i was literally like looking up everything i'm on twitter i'm like how do i get this on the screen and i bought like nfl plus i bought all these different like streaming things until and then i would buy them and they were like no we don't have the dolphins
game so i literally i was i was a stalker and i don't even think i told you i was doing this at the time no but this is all news to me i get it up and we're watching it with my family and i'm like there's braxton like there we go and then bam he got taken down and i saw some blood and that was like you did not see blood they did not show blood yes yes they did not yes they did when
I saw something. You'd be on the sideline and you could see blood. Really? Yes. Oh, I see. You didn't tell me that part. And then I was on Twitter and I just saw a burritos injury or something and that's all it said. And from a fan, though, it wasn't an actual report. And I was like, oh my God, he died. And I was like, that's scary. And then I FaceTimed you with stitches. I know. Well, I've never... That was the first time I ever got stitches from football. Yeah, the first time I saw you play. Like my helmet didn't come off. And now every time you get hit when you play, I'm literally like...
No, that was an extreme circumstance. Please don't crack him open like a hard-boiled egg again. No, but it was crazy because my helmet didn't come off. I just took a knee. Like the dude missed me.
Like I ducked under the tackle on a punt return and he missed me, but his knee came through and just hit me with my helmet on, did not unbuckle or anything. And it just split. And I had what? Nine, I think nine stitches. Yeah. He looked like Humpty Dumpty, but so he's leaving me for this camp for training camp. And well, I guess it's nice that you guys don't have to like go somewhere for it. Cause what other teams like, there's a few teams that do it off like offsite. Like I know Kansas city, Pittsburgh, uh,
You don't get to sleep at home in your bed. I think the Rams. Yeah. And then a lot of times you spend it at a hotel. So some teams go to complete off-site small colleges, like dormitories and stuff, and have camp there. Others, I mean, each team has their own different rules or the way it is. But luckily, ours is at Miami, which it's, I mean, I say luckily, but it'll be hot. The reason I brought you on here is because
Now that we're going to be doing this long distance for three weeks, I just wanted to talk a little bit about how we make that work. Because I feel like we do... We don't do long distance normally. We're not long distance. But we have long distance. But we...
Either me or you travels a lot, so I feel like we're apart from each other and we deal with that. And our one thing is that I call Braxton. If I go out, I call Braxton before I go to bed. And same. Yeah. It's not a one-way street. Yeah. It just happens to me a lot more. A lot more. Yeah. When you get home, call me. Just let me know you're safe. Yeah. So I always wake Braxton up from sleeping. Yeah. But that's it. We don't have any...
Like we don't have any other like structured like. I'm just not a good texter. No, you're a terrible texter. I'm trying to be better at all communication. I'm sorry. Is that a today thing? I've been trying. You just you haven't seen the results yet. They haven't banned out. They have not banned out. We're not like big texters. Like I will check in.
But not like a 24-7 text. And sometimes, but like sporadically, we'll have full-blown conversations through text, but it's not 24-7 all day. Yeah. We're just both busy and it works for us. I'm trying to think. We don't have anything else that like we...
It's really at night. Just say goodnight. That's our one thing, I guess, with traveling and being apart from each other. We'll also say good morning, too. But I'm saying it's not a set thing. We don't have any other check-ins. It's more like check-in when you go out to make sure your home's safe and make sure it all is well. I'm really embarrassed about that. I called you this past week when you were with your dad and I was just coming back from the night out. Your dad and your little brother and I was just like,
Coming back from going out with my friends and I was like, blah, blah. And like, I just, I'm, I've been having anxiety about that. I know you still have some anxiety about that. It wasn't bad, but you said I was funny. Yeah, you were funny. So it wasn't bad. Speaking of football, I have a few questions for you because I feel like the Earl girls, I get some, some what would Alex do's about this? Or I get some questions about,
How are the girlies getting attention in the DMs from an athlete or a football player? The girls want to know. What should they send to make them stand out amongst the rest? What should they send in a DM to stand out? Yes. The girls, like... We have to help the girls out. Well, first and foremost...
If they want to respond, they're going to respond to anything. You can send an emoji. You could just say, hey, you could put a period and send it. And if they want to respond, they're going to respond. Now, like if you want to like get off on a different foot and like be kind of funny, like, yeah, like be creative. Do you think there's something that they could say that like you wouldn't want to respond to? Not you because you would never respond to a girl's DM. I'm talking about a hypothetical situation. Yeah.
And no, I don't think so. Unless it was like really out of pocket. Because guys are guys. I'm just saying, unless it's like really out of pocket.
if they want to respond in the first place they're going to respond so it does not matter the context or the subject of what you say okay girls you heard it here first yeah just shoot your shot you can say whatever you want yeah but like don't what no just don't be out of pocket like you can't say anything like outlandish okay or like that's like what do you think it's better if they say hi or hey or do you think it's better it does not matter okay what was your second part there
Like, hi or hey does not matter. So you're saying that they just look at, like, the girl and then decide if they want to respond or not? Yeah. But don't you think, like, someone's more inclined to, like, send... I don't know. I feel like if you send, like, a question and they have to answer something that, like, prompts an answer. Well, that's the thing. Like, that's one of the things that, like, is different. But at the end of the day, like, pass-fail. If you're going to pass, you're going to pass regardless of what you say. Okay. So, like...
I would implore you to try to be original and like ask a question or like, you know, put a little bit of thought into it. Maybe like tailor it to them. But at the end of the day, if they want to respond, they're going to respond to a period. They're going to respond to, hey, hi, what's up? Like if they want to respond, they're going to respond. Yeah. Next question for the girls is if they want to like hang out with a football player. Okay.
and their football team's traveling to their city, do you think they even have enough time? Is it even worthwhile to even try in that window or you feel like it's more, you have to be in their city? Because you only have a day there when you're traveling with the team. Yeah, but not even a day. You get in at 5, sometimes 6 p.m., sometimes a little earlier.
And then like you have meetings at night and obviously you have curfew too. So no, I don't think there's much of an opportunity there. So it's better if the girls like in your city while you're there for like the week. I just don't want the girls to be shooting their shots and losing. No, that's fair. That's fair. Yeah. I mean, in season is really tough. Like unless you're in that city, like we, you know, we, we practice all week. We play every weekend except for the bi-week.
And then when we do travel, like if you're in the city, like traveling doesn't really matter because you leave on Saturday, stay Saturday night, play on Sunday, and then immediately after the game you come back. So yeah, it's obviously a lot easier to be in the city. But do you think like guys have girls in different cities? I mean, I don't know. I don't know what guys do. Like, I don't know. I feel like because baseball, you're there for...
Four or five days. I feel like you're there for a while, but you guys are in and out So I'm like do you even have time for girls in other cities? No, not in season. Not at all. Hmm. That's what I'm saying Like all same like all seasons a different story because most people go and live somewhere else Yeah, there's some places like I would think LA I know Miami I would think Dallas
Houston maybe but like there's some cities where like people stay and like live there year-round But like for the most part, you know when I was up north like nobody stayed in that city after the season Everybody just went home to their home or wherever they were living. Okay, so yeah So I think it's a little tricky and I think that's what a lot of people don't understand like like our schedule year-round You know, like we're in a city to play right for like work. That's our job. So
And then you do that. And unless it's a city that you love and like you live there 24-7, then the off season you go to wherever you live. And then you have to go back for OTAs for those two months. And you have another six weeks where you kind of like go wherever. So like there's a lot of bouncing. Okay.
so they can bounce though yeah i'm excited for football season and i'm excited for the outfits i need to start like ordering my outfits and figuring out what's going on i hated everything i wore last year never let me to a football game if i'm wearing anything i wore last year what was your worst do you think my worst was the one that unfortunately went the most viral because i was like this is a mom picking up her kids from school i had like mini shorts on with like kitten heels guys
My fashion sense this year, it got all taken all over the place. I was like, I was really trying to make something happen and wasn't happening, but I think I'm better now. Like I really think like now I have a good sense. I don't think I'm going to wear ugly outfits this year. I don't either. Last year. I didn't think they were ugly last year. It was like,
hindsight some of them weren't the i know the worst i know the worst i feel like i know what you're about to say when i went to the game of course with your family i went to a game just me just broxson's family like worst outfit i've ever worn i think in my entire life the the pants the blue polo and the the orange pants there was a good idea there
execution horribly it should have been three different outfits one I had this cute vintage teal polo shirt though adorable and I was like I want to wear this to the game next I had these orange like jogger track pan parachute pants and I was like perfect I'm gonna put that with the teal top already those two things were just giving like different vibes like should have just gone with like jeans right then I
I don't know. You had an infatuation with heels last year. I wanted to wear... Infatuation. Okay, I have an infatuation with heels always. No, no, that's fine. But to the sporting event specifically. I wanted to look like the chic, cool girl. But I was giving like the trashy one that didn't know how to put anything together. So I wear these white naked wolf shoes, which are so cool. These booties with the straight orange pants. It was just...
With the teal top. It was a lot. It was like I was trying to be like a walking dolphin's flag. And it was just like none of the things went together. Like the pants didn't sit nicely on the heels. The pants on the top. The heels on the pants on the top.
I like should have never been let out of the house and not only did I wear that to a game I wore that with your entire family well it's not like they like would I would judge me if if I was your family member and I showed up in that outfit I would be like who is he dating I mean Jay could have I think that would be the only one I feel so embarrassed uh it's okay you know the good news we're gonna come back this year yes you have to come back and be better than ever hey look at that getting better
How are you feeling for this year? Good. I'm excited. Good. It's like camp so close the last like week and a half. You're like, all right, like let's just get into it because it's not like it's it's hard. Like it's the hardest part of the year.
And I know it says a lot because, you know, the season's long and it's like tough in the season too. But it's just like, cause it's day after day after day and it's 110 degrees in Miami and like all these things. So it gets to the point where like now, for instance, when we're what, four days away, it's like, let's just get into it. Let's just get into it. Yeah. Thanks Braxton. Thanks for hanging out with us. Thank you girls. Bye. Be back soon.
