Hello, Moth listeners. I'm Chloe Salmon, a radio host and director at The Moth. We're excited to announce dates for our fall 2024 main stage season, which are on sale now at themoth.org slash main stage. Never been to a main stage? Here's the gist.
Each main stage show features five storytellers sharing incredible true tales of harrowing escapes, leaps of faith, unbelievable hijinks, heartaches, family drama, and more. All live and in person. The storytellers are people just like you. Teachers, mechanics, poets, gamers, scientists, homemakers, actors, students, authors, and everyone in between who crafted their stories with Moth directors like me.
Over the past few seasons, I've worked with storytellers who've taken audiences to unexpected places. The world of country music, behind the scenes of a waxing salon, a bartending job in a retirement home, and more. At a main stage, you never know where you'll be taken next, and that's half the fun.
Our season kicks off this August and brings us to Martha's Vineyard, New York City, Toronto, New Haven, London, Iowa City, Tampa, Boston, Honolulu, Fort Collins, Fargo, Princeton, Austin, Atlanta, Nairobi, Portland, and Chicago. With first-time stops in East Hampton, New York, and Bismarck, North Dakota.
