Key Insights

Why did the Baltimore Ravens' defense struggle against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10?

The Ravens' defense simultaneously tried to stop Jamar Chase and gave up underneath passes all game long, leading to a high-scoring game.

Why is Christian McCaffrey expected to play a reduced role for the San Francisco 49ers?

Kyle Shanahan expects McCaffrey to play around 55% of the work, with Mason Rudolph taking about 40%, as per a beat reporter's expectation of work.

Why is Nico Collins' return significant for the Houston Texans?

Nico Collins' return could potentially improve the Texans' offense, which in turn could help the Detroit Lions' offense by not allowing them to solely rely on running the ball.

Why is Matthew Stafford considered a risky play despite a high over-under in the game against the Miami Dolphins?

The Miami Dolphins have a strong defense against quarterbacks, and Stafford's performance has been inconsistent this season, making him a risky fantasy option.

Why is Jalen Waddle's fantasy value uncertain despite a high over-under in the game against the Los Angeles Rams?

Waddle's fantasy value is uncertain because he has not been performing consistently, and the presence of other receivers like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle affects his target share.

Why is Cooper Rush expected to hyper-target CeeDee Lamb if he plays against the Philadelphia Eagles?

Cooper Rush is expected to hyper-target CeeDee Lamb because Lamb is a top receiver and Rush will likely rely heavily on him to move the offense, especially with a difficult matchup against the Eagles.

Why is Tony Pollard considered a risky play against the Philadelphia Eagles?

Tony Pollard is considered a risky play because the Philadelphia Eagles have a strong defense against running backs, and Pollard's injury status adds to the uncertainty.

Why is Matthew Stafford considered a potential sleeper in the game against the Miami Dolphins?

Stafford is considered a potential sleeper because the Rams' offense has shown improvement with key players back, and the high over-under suggests a potential shootout, which could benefit Stafford's fantasy output.

Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Welcome in! That was way too much extra joy. Oh, I feel...

About 53.9 points worth of extra joy this fine morning. I mean, you're over there acting like you had both Burrow and Chase. No, which I didn't. I didn't. I only had Chase.

I'm out of here. You guys suck. Over here in our main dynasty league, Mike's rocking the stack of Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase. And over in League of Record, former champ Andy Holloway was gifted Jamar Chase in a trade that just showed up in his inbox for basically Amari Cooper and garbage. And so, yeah, it's a good day to be you guys. It's a bad day to sit between you.

Yeah, and I can tell you right now as I slide over to Deucer's Alley, there's a man in a black hat in the shadows. Just miserable. Just miserable over there. Am I right, Al? Yeah. I mean, fortunately, I didn't have to play against either Burrow or Chase. I did do that check. I did that check in my other leagues this morning. Yeah. The very scary click into each league to see if I played Burrow, Chase, or Lamar. That's what, I mean, I literally, I tweeted this out, but it wasn't a joke.

I was afraid to open the sleeper app and scroll through my teams because I wasn't sure which my match over. Yeah, exactly. I was like, oh gosh, did I? Because I don't have Jamar Chase. I have him in our in our family league, which, you know, is probably our I mean, we kind of don't care about that. But all the other leagues that I'm in, I just came on set and put Jamar Chase down.

Oh, man. But I don't have them anywhere, so I knew there's a good chance I'm playing against them somewhere. Happy to report. Your weeks aren't over? I can still play this week. Look, I know not everybody's happy because a lot of you played against them, and we got everything we wanted on Thursday Night Football. 35-34. Ravens over the Bengals. Face masks, they can't call them in the last 30 seconds of a game. You know, I saw someone tweet this out, and it's,

It's legitimate. I wonder, you know, the going for two to win the game at the end. Do you factor in that? They're like calling those plays like a Hail Mary, you know, like they should not be. They shouldn't. It's a, that is a play where you shouldn't just be able to go like Hulk smash everybody on the play, but that's kind of what happened. And, and I also, at the same time, I do understand the, like,

You don't want the refs to be the reason for the last play. So, you know, swallow close call whistles there, but I don't know how close call those were. No, you can't just – if you start the play with any of those mindsets, I'm going to let things go or I'm going to call it too tight, you've already lost. Like, you need to call the play the play. You need to get rid of the context and just call it. And now we've seen –

Not going for two, you're lost. Going for two, you're lost. We just saw this with Tampa on Monday Night Football, right? Condemned for not going?

Yeah, I don't blame them for going for it. Oh, I don't condemn them at all. I think it was a penalty. I think it was a bad call. I also think that one play doesn't define the whole game, and we just have to live with what it was. Maybe stop, you know, Baltimore Ravens from scoring 28 in the second half. There was a holding penalty called, you know, on Jamar Chase early in the game in the end zone that was fantastic. Oh, yeah, that was not very good. That wasn't real. So, you know, they're going to get it wrong. Going for two, that was the right call. 100%. I mean, it's like, think of the...

The conversion rate of a two-point conversion, you know, it's like it's right around 50%. And then if you go into overtime in a tie, flipping a coin, about 50%. And if you lose that, like whoever got the ball was winning the game because defenses couldn't – the defense was done. Definitely a crazy night. I hate losing games.

A game not throwing it to my best player. I think that was part of my criticism of the play. I know that you're going to get a lot of coverage on Jamar Chase, but I really hate losing, throwing it to a tight end, like the catch percentage of targeting him there. I just don't know. But Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, amazing. Derek Henry got in the end zone. Yeah, he was fine. Mostly stifled on the ground, but got into the end zone. I think a big storyline is Chase Brown.

However, I do think this was more a product of the defense that the Baltimore Ravens chose to play in this game. They ridiculously...

They simultaneously played a defense exclusively built to stop Jamar Chase and failed at that and gave up the underneath all game long. Nine receptions for Chase Brown. So if you had Chase in your name, you put up a big night. It was a very good game for him. And then on the other side, best game of the year for Mark Andrews, 6-for-68 and a touchdown.

It looked like vintage Andrews, and it's not a surprise you needed to do it when you're in a game that's got 69 points. And likely, yeah, exactly. I feel like he should really just probably go on IR, rest that hamstring. Likely? Likely, yeah. Likely should just really take the rest –

Save yourself for the playoffs. You know what I mean? Yeah. You're playoff bound. You're a Super Bowl contender. Why don't you let the old guy get the wear and tear? Exactly. Come back in week 18 for a little bit of reps before the playoffs, but just get healthy, likely. And just two targets for Deontay Johnson in this game. Not very involved yet for those monitoring that. And I just, look, this is not a sponsor comment at all. People thought it was.

I just want to say this because maybe it will be aspirational for other networks. Oh, yeah. I saw your tweet. It's true. Dear goodness, the NFL looks good on Prime. It is like you bought an upgraded graphics card for the NFL every week that I turn it on. I cannot believe how crystal clear and amazing the production is, and I hope...

We move our way up on the other networks. I think it's objectively superior. The other game modes as well, or whatever they call them, the streams where you can... Their version of the All-22. It's like the X-Ray. X-Ray, yeah. I think that's it. I mean, they just have the technology where it needs to be. Which we do know this. We've sat down with them before in years past just talking to them about the NFL.

And we know how much effort they put into it. When you turn the TV on in this day and age, and you can be like, oh, my gosh, those jerseys. I don't know. Oh, my goodness, those Ravens jerseys. It was just crystal clear. I don't know. They got some kind of special technology. Can we get those cameras? Can we get them in the studio? I think it's all just the infrastructure for the stream. I guess we wouldn't want those cameras in this studio because we –

No, no, no. I want a Gaussian blur. Yeah, we need that soap opera filter over here. Can we blur this a bit? We do better with the blur. So the game was not great for everybody. Sticky Gasicky was icky at four for 30. The right answer was Tanner Hudson at the tight end position. It was six for 42 in a score. And somehow...

Zay Flowers was four for 34. And, like, this was the old school Zay Flowers. I'm not worried about it at all, but just it was frustrating of Zay Flowers is so good. Like, his talent level to me is absolutely off the charts to the point of his plays are so impactful that, like,

In my head, I'm like, oh, wow, Zay Flowers is having a great game. And then you get into the fourth quarter and you look at the numbers and you go, oh, no, he is not. Well, a lot of the passing yardage that came late when they were going back and forth, taking leads, getting them back, you know, there was an 84-yard touchdown to Tylan Wallace, whoever that is. And it was, you know, that takes a drive away from Zay Flowers. Andrews was more involved, but...

Yeah, I don't think you go away from him. No, no, no, no. You just are sad. I mean, I was hungry for more. Now I'm starving for more Zay Flowers. Yeah, it's a little bit like the situation with Chase last week with Burrow. He threw five touchdowns, none to Chase. This week, four touchdowns for Lamar, none to Zay Flowers. Bet on good players. Yeah, they'll work out in the end. I'm not complaining about Chase no more.

Mike has been the experienced Chase manager. In all the years of Chase's career, I play seven, eight leagues a year. I have never had Jamar Chase on my team. And so I added him a couple weeks ago.

Just crafted a beautiful trade. The best trade. No. I did the best. It was a really good trade for him. And I hadn't gotten this game yet, Mike. Ooh, it's sweet. It is amazing. Ooh, so good. This is the first time that I can remember that I won on a Thursday. I have lost so many times on Thursday night, and it is the worst feeling. Brooks, how do you feel? How do you feel, Brooks? Yeah.

Yeah. All right. Yeah. That's funny. He won't even chime in. I saw Nathan Yonke tweet out the complete list of multiple 260-yard receiving games in NFL history is Jamar Chase. That's the only player who's ever done that. He's quite good. You know, I bet I was just so disappointed his third touchdown wasn't over 40 yards for the bonus. What a bummer. It's Friday. Putt Clan Friday.

All right, every Friday we say thank you to our incredible Foot Clan, all the supporters that join thefoot.com. We give away a $100 gift card to fantasychamps.com if you want to go buy a trophy, ring, belt, whatever the case may be. You got $100 to do that and a t-shirt from the fantasy footballers. Today's winner, and this is always your username over on our site, UtahGetMeTua is the name of the user. Is this a point break?

I do not. Is it Josh? Josh is old enough. Yes. It seems like. I don't know what the real line is, but, I mean, Johnny Utah is all I can think of here. Well, congratulations. Thanks for supporting the show. Let's jump into the news. News and notes from around the league. Presented by USAA Insurance. I do. No, no. I had to confirm it. Yeah.

There is a Utah, get me two. Oh, so it's a point break reference. It is. Okay. I like it. Is Brooks actually not on a mic where he can be recorded, or was he just dead silent because he's dead? It's both. He can be recorded. I mean, he's just on his laptop microphone, so the audio would be terrible. Identical to Jim Lovell from Apollo 13 when he was calling Houston. Yes. You know what I mean? Back in the 60s. How are you doing, Brooks?

All right. There he is. People do want to know that Brooks is alive and well. Well, he was. Here lies Brooks. But no, Brooks, you'd be happy to know. People have been asking about you. They want to know you're not here in studio with us, and they want to know you're doing well and you're still with us. And you are. You're still with us. No, I'm here not doing well. Okay. There you go. Well, you do have a 15-3 team.

In our dynasty. Yeah. So congrats on that. Oh, yeah. You will be getting a four next to that three this week, at least. Okay. Let's go ahead and blitz through this news so we can get back into the matchups. Kyle Shanahan said he expects McCaffrey to play. Technically limited on Thursday, as was Juwan Jennings and Debo Samuel. For what it is worth...

Not that anyone is benching Christian McCaffrey. I've got him. I'm overexposed to McCaffrey, but he's going in everywhere. But we did have some mats. I apologize. I don't know if it's barrels or borrows, but he's a writer for The Athletic, covers the 49ers, and he did like a mailbag. And his expectation of work was he thinks McCaffrey will be about a sweet guy

55% of the work, and Mason will take about 40%. And to that, I say, I don't believe you. Oh, I do. I've been so firmly on that side. Was he also part of the beat reporters that said he's fine for week one? That I don't know. Because I'm not trusting anybody in San Francisco. That's my point. I just don't. If I was San Francisco, that would be the ratio I would use. I'll put it that way. But again, if you have McCaffrey. Fire him up. Yeah.

So Amari Cooper limited. Keon Coleman has been ruled out. Maybe Amari Cooper can make an impact. I don't know. Probably won't put up chase numbers. Drake London, Kyle Pitts limited on Thursday. Monitor both of those. Those are looking a little bit spicier and more doubtful to me. You know, early in the week there was some positivity and it's gotten a little bit worse. I've seen limited. It's not a DNP. Yeah, a little dicier.

Michael Pittman remained sidelined on Thursday. I think he's out of lineups for us regardless. This one is – well, it's not a regardless because with Flacco in, Michael Pittman is someone – a healthy Michael Pittman is someone I would like to play. But the way that he's been working for his – what are you making that face for? I don't know that you – He's just saying that maybe you stay away from the potential accidental pain. No, I'm saying even if he's healthy. I mean, the last couple games that he's – I mean –

The last game with Joe Flacco was terrible. The three before that, he was over double-digit points.

I don't believe that that is true, looking at his game log. He had three games in a row that were over double digits. Those were all, and those were Flacco games. But this is also a poor matchup. You know, they're top five Buffalo against wide receivers. So I'm just saying even if he's healthy, I would rather go somewhere else. But my point was going to be this has been hit. The cadence for Pittman has been don't practice Wednesday, practice on Thursday. So this is concerning that he'll even be out there.

We have news that Baker Mayfield is going to play. Jalen McMillan, Sterling Shepard, they practiced today, I think.

I thought I'm getting no no no so here's here's what happened in practice no he did he did not so I went to their official what happened was yesterday mid show we were wondering if he was practicing and we had reporters taking photographs he was out there at practice so he was in pads he had his helmet in his hand so he was there but on the official report this week from the team he was listed as a full DNP but then he practiced today

McMillan, Shepard, Whitehead, Gaines, all practice today. Today's Friday. So Thursday and Wednesday was full DNP. The Evans likely to be ruled out today. All I'm saying is that if they're out there, there's an opportunity with how Baker's still in the football for a spot start. Darius Slayton ruled out. Jonathan Brooks questionable. We expect Jonathan Brooks to make his debut. Mike, would you like to

publicly apologize to London, England today? Yeah. I'm so sorry, London. It's funny. In the morning, I even corrected someone before the show. You did? No, it's not in London. It's in Germany. And then, I don't know. I told London to eat it, which actually, no, I stand by that.

Just in general? I stand by that in general of England. That's the worst apology I've ever heard. Well, I realized I don't have to apologize to England ever. Oh, okay. Really? Yeah. You tea drinkers. Whoa. But now Germany. Eat it. You got to eat it. Eat it. I'm sorry. And by eat it, we do mean watch the Carolina Panthers play football. Yes. 100%. And pay for it. We...

saw A.J. Brown move to a full practice on Thursday. That's big news. Devontae Smith limited on Thursday with a hamstring. Is this the first you've heard of that? Yeah, I had not. Last week he missed all practice for personal reasons. The hamstring was a newer issue that popped up, so it's a little concerning, but he was still practicing. A.J. Brown practicing in full was really surprising. I had a full expectation he misses. All this, I think, is pretty good news, obviously, for Jalen Hurts.

Well, Dallas Goddard's practicing in full. Tony Pollard, who did not practice on Thursday this week or last week. He didn't even practice on Friday last week and then played on Sunday. We're monitoring that. And Jason, Nico Collins remains sidelined on Thursday. It's all part of the game.

of the plan they want to make sure special agent oh so over here they they they need him to be healthy and so let's just not run him until sunday is my hope i mean honestly today is going to be everything i can't imagine he plays in the game if he's a dmp on friday if he does play in the game and he doesn't practice all week he will be in my lineup yeah but it's sunday night

And I think we'll know before Sunday morning. I don't think you will. Ha, ha, ha.

Listen, you have... Kill me! That's what we were waiting for. Here's your game plan. He was trying so hard. I'm fine over here. Demarcus Robinson should be your backup. If you want to ride dirty... Oh, that's a good plan. If you want to ride dirty on Sunday night, get Demarcus Robinson for the Monday night game for the Rams, who's been playing good football in a game that could be a back and forth affair. That would be my...

emergency play. You need to have a plan if you're trying to get Nebo out there. Unless we get news today. Maybe we get news today that he's officially out and you don't have to think about it. Yeah. What if you don't have Demarcus Robinson available for another pivot option? Correct. Well, let's think about that game. Tank Dell, probably not going to be able to get him. I've got Jalen Waddell, so he'll be my... Yeah, there you go. All right.

Kill bag. That was today's News and Notes presented by USAA Insurance. Learn more at USAA.com slash insurance. We'll take a break. We'll jump back into the Week 10 matchups.

I had no clue there was so much emotion in fantasy football until today. You know what I mean? I believe is it today? Is it Friday that they've got to be activated? No, I know, but they've got to be activated from the IR in order to play. So I think we've got a couple more hours to find out if Nico's going to play or not. Whoever's out there, vet that for me. But I think we will know whether he's activated off the IR, and they're not going to activate him off the IR to not have him play this week. That makes sense.

Hopefully you get that news today. I have to. It's time for Fantasy Forecast, presented by DraftKings Sportsbook.

All righty, the Giants, Panthers in Germany. We covered it yesterday. The Patriots, Bills, Bills, Colts. Sorry, Patriots, Bears, Bills, Colts, Broncos, Chiefs, Falcons, Saints, 49ers, Buccaneers. We covered all those games on yesterday's show. So if you want those breakdowns, just click on yesterday's episode. You can go through those today. We're going to start with the Steelers at 6-2 and the 7-2 Washington Commanders.

Both teams have the rarity of tremendous success with a defensive-minded head coach. That has not been a common theme in recent years. DraftKings Sportsbook, Washington minus three at home. The over-under is 45-45.

This is a fun one. Yeah, it really is. You've got two good defenses, or at least the Steelers are a good defense, and that's coming up against Jaden Daniels and the amazing unstoppable offense so far of the Commanders. I don't know how much...

you're going to be able to rely... Like, the Steelers get to play Lamar Jackson twice a year, four years. I think of all the defenses that Jaden Daniels is going to play against, this is one that is a little bit more prepared for it, if that makes sense. Yeah, no, I can see what you're saying. Stylistically similar. Yeah, it's hard to prepare. There's...

Until Jaden Daniels, there's no one like Lamar. Even great mobile rushing quarterbacks, Jalen Hurst, Josh Allen, they're just not like Lamar in how he runs, when he runs. But I feel a lot of similarities with Jaden Daniels in when they choose to run and how they run. So I do think the experience here helps. That's an interesting little storyline. What else is...

Interesting is the Steelers' defense is third in the NFL in points given up. The Commanders are third in the NFL in points scored per game.

So you have a really good offense and a talented defense. The Commander's defense has been pretty good over the last six weeks at stopping opposing players from scoring fantasy points. Second against quarterbacks. Second against wide receivers. They've become a little bit more of a run funnel, difficult to throw on, which is surprising. And added Lattimore. Yeah, I mean, Marshawn Lattimore being a part of this offense now, or defense, they're just going to continue to improve, and that's where –

You have an effective offense. Cliff Kingsbury is the head coach of the offense. Dan Quinn doesn't touch that. And Dan Quinn's a defensive-minded head coach that's had so much success in Dallas in recent years. I mean, I don't know. Has that been a storyline? His departure from Dallas and their deterioration as a defense? I mean, this should be a fun game. Russell Wilson gets a new weapon in Mike Williams.

I don't know if he's going to be active this week, but he will be a part of future game plans for this offense. Najee Harris has been a top 13 running back in three straight weeks. And I expect it to continue. He's averaging 20 opportunities a game. What I just said, they're turning into a run funnel. You're still able to run on them. They're just a middle-of-the-pack defense against the run. So that will be, I think, a big game plan for the Steelers.

The Steelers' defense on the year schedule adjusted six against wide receivers. They've been very good. The last six weeks in fantasy points allowed, though, it slowed down. Terry McLaurin sitting at wide receiver six on the year. DK has his receiving line at 58.5 yards. Feels a little low for what you want from someone who's the wide receiver six on the season. I think it's just indicative that this is not an easy matchup for him. The over-under in the game is 45. Okay.

Brian Robinson has a limited practice on Wednesday. I think he'll be back out there. He's a tough – I think he's like the hard start of this. He's been so good. He's been – yes, he has scored a lot of touchdowns, which, I mean, that's a product of this offense. Are you saying you would or wouldn't play him? I feel like I would get him in the lineup. I would try, yeah. I think I would, yeah.

Just the way that it's trended with his injury, it's concerning. Jalen Warren has yet to hit eight fantasy points. Are we keeping him on the sideline of our lineups until we get a good game? Yeah, I think so. I mean, he was a waiver pickup that's like you can flex him, but you're not getting a lot of points. He hasn't hit double-digit fantasy points this season, and this isn't like some incredible matchup where you want him in a situation where you're playing a team that

gives up pass catching to the running back because that's really his where he's going to eat in this offense. George Pickens. It's a tough matchup based on how the commanders defense has played over the last six weeks. I know you guys both like Pickens. Do you have hesitation here? I hate the matchup, but it's a full go. Yeah, I mean, he's been like, so we have what two games with Russ where, you know, it five for 111 a score against the Jets four for 74 against the Giants. So it's

The matchup a month ago looked far juicier than it does today, but he's still a – Pickens is an every-week play for me. Zach Ertz only had one reception last week. He would be an emergency – If he needed. Yeah, tight end. Minnesota is 6-2. They take on Jacksonville 2-7. One thing we didn't mention –

Was any update to the Trevor Lawrence situation for Jacksonville? The DK Sportsbook line in this game, by the way, Minnesota minus seven on the road over under 44. It was minus four. So Vegas. So Mac Jones confirms Mac Jones is going to be playing. Mac Jones is worth negative three points. That's a lot. Yeah. One hour ago, Doug Peterson said it's trending for Trevor Lawrence not to play Sunday versus the Vikings.

Jacksonville is, I think, statistically one of the best matchups you can have in fantasy for every position. For all of them. You adjust for schedule. They're 29th against tight ends, and that is their best score.

I mean, they're 31st against wide receivers and running backs and dead last against quarterbacks. So whoever you want to start on the Minnesota Vikings side of the ball, you can. I think if you want to take a shot, you know, Jordan Addison is one of those guys that's on your bench. You're not sure if you can play him. Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. Okay, this is a matchup where he could get it done. I do think that the running game is especially, because Trevor Lawrence

isn't expected to play, and I don't think that Mac Jones is going to be able to keep up with the Minnesota Vikings. Whoa, hey, I'm just saying. If he is unable to keep up with the Minnesota Vikings'

defense then the Vikings get out to a lead and it becomes the Aaron Jones show so Justin Jefferson you're going to start him but I think that Aaron Jones is just such a great play this week yep he is he set up for success Jefferson Jones Darnold Hawkinson your start of the week at tight end I'm all about it and Addison is a flex play on the other side fear and trembling

Not only do you have players that I think independent of injury situations, you would be scared out of your mind to play with Mac Jones. And now you have Brian Thomas Jr. still dealing with an injury. His rest of season outlook

took a bit of a hit with this Lawrence news, with the injury in recent weeks. Etienne, Bigsby, even Ingram, who we know has that connection with Lawrence. Little unsettling not to have Lawrence behind center, even for Ingram. It would.

It would really surprise me, though, if Mac Jones doesn't throw the ball to Evan Ingram a bajillion times. Yeah, Evan Ingram I'm 100% fine with. This could be the backup narrative where all of a sudden it becomes a Parker Washington game who's played more snaps with the backup quarterback. But Brian Thomas Jr. is not a must bench to me. This is a matchup where they're going to need to throw him, but he's in one of those considerations now where you look at your bench and you say,

I've got another good option or I don't. And did you say they're going to throw to him or throw him? They're going to, are they going to literally, I think they, I think they're going to throw near him. No. Okay. Yeah. That's unfortunate.

But I don't want to – I'm not doing any – you cannot make me start Travis Etienne, Tank Bigsby, Dearness Johnson. The Minnesota Vikings are one of the best of the best at stopping running backs, both in the passing game and the running game. You're going to be down. Plus the game script, yeah. There's no world where I want to have a piece, you know, a shared committee piece of no fantasy points.

And by the way, Papa Josh back in the building all episode long today. Well, so far. We'll see. I'm good. We'll see. The empty chair for the Falcon is known and we're happy to report not on a toilet. Might be on a toilet, but not because he's on a toilet. Yeah, he's out of office today. We think for some sort of travel. Not positive. Oh, he's blasting off.

Tennessee 2-6, Los Angeles 5-3, DraftKings Sportsbook line, Los Angeles minus 7. This would be the Chargers. The over-under is just 39 points. Doesn't give the Titans a lot of points. Yeah, I mean, we think Will Loveless will be back out there. We don't know if they'll go Mason Rudolph for another week. We've got an injured Tony Pollard, and we have Calvin Ridley with a DK receiving line of... Look, if you're the last man standing...

You've got a shot. 31% target share since the week five buy for Calvin Ridley. That's what you want. Yeah, since Hopkins has left this team, it's really made things nice for Ridley. And the rest of season, I think Ridley is a common, you know, must start type of player because you won't,

have consistency where every single week it's going to be great. But I do think the majority of his weeks will be very, very good. And in order to get those, you have to play him every week. So to me, he's just a starter. The Titans defense is doing the best it can do, but it's not... It kind of wears down over the course of the game. Now Dobbins...

Man, this line, D.K.'s rushing line, 64 and a half. He's averaging 19 opportunities a game. Yeah, I like him in this game because of the fact that I think they'll be out and ahead for the majority of the game. Were you surprised how high it was? Yeah, 64. I mean, that's basically like a 50-50 shot of his box scores. And they're a pretty good defense. The Titans have...

played good defense most of the year. It really comes down in part to their opponents. You know, when they played Buffalo and Detroit the last two of the last three weeks, they gave up 34 and 52 points. They break down eventually against these great defenses. If it's not, or great offenses. If it's not a great offense,

It reminds me of the Giants defense. Like, we all recognize the Giants defense has a lot of talent, but you just can't hold up. So the question is, because they can't hold it. You know, they held up just fine against New England last week. They only gave up 17 points. They've held people to 20 or fewer points plenty of times when it's an average to below average offense. The question to me in this matchup is, are the Los Angeles Chargers...

an above average offense or not. They've got Justin Herbert. They're letting him throw the ball more. Quentin Johnson has gotten involved. Ladd McConkie has been a great rookie wide receiver.

But are they really a good offense or just average? They're weird. I think they're all right, man. 23 or more points in three of the previous four games. They are currently 24th in the NFL in points per game. That's not good. I mean, when they have a stinker, it's a stinker. You know, 10 points against Pitt, 10 points against the Chiefs. 23-point implied point total. What do you do with the wide receiver position?

Obviously, they're at home. They're favored. We like Dobbins enough, I guess, or DK does. But McConkie and Johnston. I think they are both playable. If I have to pick, I'm still going to go with Ladd-McConkie. But Quentin Johnston has...

You're on the McConkie side? Yeah, between the two of them. I'd be on the Johnson side. I'll take the targets here. Yeah, the targets should be there for Ladd. Also, LeJarius Sneed, I would guess he's more on Quentin Johnson than in the slot on Ladd. I guess I don't know for sure his health, but assuming that he's there, that leads me more towards Ladd.

But it's just a Snead missed practice on Thursday. Oh, good. I love when defensive great players miss. Like all the defensive players, I'm never rooting for them to play. Yeah, I might try to avoid these guys. I don't think they're avoids. I mean, they're not consistent in a good matchup, and Tennessee is number one in the NFL against wide receivers in fantasy. Number one. Huh? Yeah, number one.

Where are you seeing that? On our website, Mike. TheFantasyFootballers.com. Tennessee is first against fantasy wide receivers on the season in fantasy points given up. If you look at schedule adjusted, they're third. Okay, that's where it is. But if you look at actual fantasy points given up statistically, they are number one against wide receivers. Last six weeks has not been as good. And the combination of things haven't been as good for the Titans and with the evolving Chargers offense, I think they're both playable.

Okay. Any other names here? Tony Pollard? Pollard will be interesting to me. He hasn't practiced. This is what's been going on. He's not practicing. Then he goes out there, and he's awesome. But at the same time, Tajay Spears has not been available for the Tennessee Titans, and Spears was a full practice on Thursday. So I wonder if they –

Is it possible that they take a different approach because they have – Spears is a good player. I mean, when your backup option is Julius Chestnut, you're like – Good for Christmas. You just made that up, Mike. Good for Christmas time for you guys who are already in it. When that's the option.

Yeah, one's roasting on an open fire. Tony Pollard is out there doing work. I just have a little bit of concern. It's been a disappointing year for Spears. He did have 17 opportunities two weeks ago before the injury. It's a fair question. With Pollard's injury and the difficult matchup, the Chargers are top five against running backs. I think that Pollard is – he's gone from someone that has been a must-start to – I would rather have J.K. Dobbins in this same game on the other side. What about Mostert?

I don't think I'd go down all the way to Mostert. I would go Pollard, but Najee Harris, Chuba Hubbard, those type of players. Ramondre? I've got them back-to-back in my rankings. Ramondre against Chicago. Who's ahead in the rankings? Eileen Ramondre. I worry that they're going to give Pollard a little bit more rest if Spears is back. Obviously, if Spears, for some reason, after practicing in full, doesn't play this week, then that would completely shift towards Pollard.

The Philadelphia Eagles are 6-2. The Dallas Cowboys 3-5. The game's in Dallas, and boys, listen to this one. Philly minus 7.5 on the road. Over-unders 43.5. That gives Dallas just 18 points at home. The Dak experience is over for maybe the rest of the season. For a while. And Mike now understands that meat is a muscle. I've heard.

The last time that Dallas was a touchdown underdog at home was ironically when Cooper Rush was also a quarterback, their quarterback, and they actually won it. So we'll see what happens. Their defense this year is so bad that it hurts. It hurts unless you're playing against it for fantasy. It hurts Barkley, Brown, Smith, Goddard. I think Micah's back.

Ooh, that's a big deal. So look that up for sure. Because, you know, the last time when you talk about Cooper Rush won the game, they won the game, but they only gave up 17 points. And this defense against the Eagles, you don't expect that. I mean, right now the Eagles are implied for 25 and a half points. So Micah Parsons would make a big deal. He is planning on being back there. I think they're expecting him back.

So, what are your new expectations for CeeDee Lamb with the Cooper Rush offense for Rico Dowdle? Those are the only two players. I mean, Jake Ferguson, who's been disappointing. Ferguson has been disappointing on the season. The

It's tough to look back at the numbers because Cooper Rush, when he had his run 4-1 as a starter for the Cowboys, that was two years ago. And it's like at that time, CeeDee Lamb was... Was that the Schultz year? It was, but... Yeah, Dalton Schultz. But it was like, I think Schultz must have been injured because one of the games, Jake Ferguson actually did have a good game. But there was, like it was a combination of him and Peyton Hendershot. Like Ferguson wasn't the guy yet. So I don't know if we have...

strong evidence of what Cooper Rush will do. CeeDee Lamb, meanwhile, was getting a very strong target share and he was not... He was great CeeDee Lamb at that time. He wasn't looked at as elite. One of the top four, top three wide receivers in the league. So...

The injury to CeeDee Lamb's shoulder is a big-time bummer, but if he's out there, I feel confident enough that Cooper Rush will hyper-target him. Yeah, he will get enough targets. I think he'll get enough yards as well. I would be skeptical of him entering the end zone often while he's got Cooper Rush over the next month, but I'm still... I don't believe that this is going to be a fall from grace like we saw with Tyree Kill, where he went from very, very relevant to...

completely on, you know, just not helping you and actively hurting you on fantasy matchups. I don't think you're getting that from CeeDee Lamb unless CeeDee Lamb's injury knocks him out of the game. What about Rico? His DK rushing lines at 42 and a half. We know that the rushing is not where, or is not everything for Rico Dotto. He's been

Getting tons of targets. It's hard for me to say, but I like Rico Dowdle's opportunity. I like what we're seeing in Rico Dowdle. I think I'm going to recommend starting Rico Dowdle often over the rest of the season. This isn't going to be one of those weeks. The Philadelphia Eagles defense has really...

Really stepped it up. I mean, when you adjust for schedule over the course of the season, they're number three against running backs. They're top ten against quarterbacks. They're number one against tight ends. I mean, they're actually, they started slow and they kind of sucked last year. And I think we need to quickly get on board with how good the Eagles defense has been.

The encouraging part would be the six targets the last two weeks, but you got to reset that with Cooper Rush. Yeah, we don't know what it'll be. It feels a little scary for sure. Monitor the Devontae Smith hamstring news. We will keep an eye on it. We have an Injury Blitz podcast as part of the feature set.

at join the foot.com. It comes from Matthew Betts, who is, um, a licensed physical therapist and our injury expert. And he will commentate, uh, or he'll share his analysis of all the injuries heading into the week. And later this afternoon at join the foot.com, the jets at three and six traveled Arizona to take on the Cardinals who have won three straight games. Cardinals are five and four. What? And the DK sports book line here. Now it is, uh, it is moved. Um,

It's the Jets minus two. How dare you? He did open at Arizona minus one. I don't know. Yeah, even worse. There's a lot of Jets. How dare you, America? A lot of Jets betting going on. The over-under is 46 and a half. You know, the more relevant lines for how, well, I guess that's not always true, but oftentimes the line that comes out when the week opens is more indicative of how Vegas sees the game.

as opposed to where it ends up sometimes. Because obviously the money's on the Jets in this one. One win for the New York Jets and everyone goes crazy. Yeah, they lost to New England the week before. Also, they have a very good chance to win this game. Yeah, they do. They do. You know, it's not going to be easy for the Cardinals secondary and defense to stop the Garrett Wilson-Devante Adams combination. They are a schizophrenic defense. At times they look incredible. They...

You know, we're able to go into Miami and slow down that offense. They were really good against Los Angeles, the Chargers, sacking Justin Herbert. They added Baron Browning. You know, this should be, I think, a close game, you know, to have the line flip between teams. Jason, you brought up James Conner as your start of the week. He still leads the NFL in forced missed tackles and was amazing last week.

Brees Hall, you're going to start. Garrett Wilson, Devontae Adams, you're going to start. I think the real question marks in this game revolve around both Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. Them independently for fantasy, the confidence level you have with Kyler who, you know, last five games, three games inside the top ten, two games where he was abysmal. Yeah, it's brutal here for Kyler because the highs are fantastic. The highs are like...

I Kyler Murray really was a part of me winning this week, but then when it's low, it's not just a, Oh, I didn't get a game from Kyler. It's I lost actively because of Kyler that puts you in a really bad spot here. Combine that with Marvin Harrison jr. I mean, he's hot and cold, just like Kyler Murray, but the DK reception line for him is at three and a half. Like that is. Holy moly for a wide receiver one. Yeah. I mean, that's,

That's what Jonathan Taylor has this week. Jonathan Taylor is at three and a half receptions. He's a running back. So it's a really tough decision here. I think it is indicative of what you'll see as well. You've got Sauce Gardner, and the Jets have a great pass defense. This is going to be tough sledding for Marvin Harrison. This is not a must-bench situation because the highs are very high, not just for Kyler, but also for Marvin Harrison this season.

However, I think there are plenty of other options out there that you might be looking at, you might have on your roster where you need to take an honest look and see if you're willing to start Marvin over them. Marvin is not an honest start. Marvin or Calvin Ridley? I would go Ridley.

Marvin or... That feels so bad. It does. Marvin or Hopkins against Denver? Hopkins, easily. I'll give you one that I think sounds...

really gross but if i had them if i had both these rookies i i i would play brian thomas jr against minnesota over marvin in this and that's not and that's that's not saying like like i would play marvin harrison over what we've seen from uh jalen waddle or dunesay or you know i'm not just all the bears well all the bears yeah i mean the bear did we mention the reception line is just three and a half yes yeah oh my gosh um yeah that's it's very dell your start of the week

I'd go Tank Bell. I would go Dell. Especially with no Nico, of course. Khalil Shakir, the PPR machine. Shakira Shakira.

I think I'd go Shakira. I think that one might be match-up dependent. You know what I mean? Shakira feels like he has a higher floor, but he doesn't have the ceiling. Because you could still have. Shakira, Shakira. I love it. I thought you were embarrassed that I did that. Oh, no. It's good stuff. And instead you just go right into it yourself. It's nice. It's fun to do the Shakira voice. I'm not going to.

Going back to... Shakira. Shakira, yeah. No, I think we've exhausted Marvin Harrison. I expect a bounce-back game from Brees Hall. DeAndre Swift had a good game. Devon Aitken had a good game. More importantly, both of those players

Those are the last two opponents for the Arizona Cardinals. While the Cardinals won, both of those players had six receptions each, and that is kind of a calling card for Brees Hall. The open field tackle rate for the Cardinals are not good. They're swarming right now. They're getting after it, but if you're just talking about one-on-one tackles against Brees Hall, this is a matchup where you could see a really big performance, and his DK receiving and rushing line is over 100 points.

over 100 yards. I got there. You were fighting that. You knew what you wanted to say. And it's a good point. So we got Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football. We'll talk about it momentarily. We'll take a quick break.

You think we're going to run out of time for Wheel of Shame today? Yeah. We're keeping this to a crisp hour. We just got to give better analysis. Let's go back and talk about, because I don't think we covered Garrett Wilson, Devontae Adams. Let's talk about them for 15 minutes. We didn't mention that Garrett Wilson since week five is the wide receiver one. I mean, that's... The dude... I need to eat a little bit of crow. On Garrett? Yeah. Yeah, I need to...

Like I came out and I was pretty vehement about the fact that there's no way that Devontae Adams doesn't hurt Garrett Wilson. But he did not hurt Garrett Wilson. He helped him. That's not been true. Yeah, both of us were saying that. It definitely seemed like Garrett Wilson would be the number two in targets. When you look at expected fantasy points, not just what happened and what the result was, but based on targets, locations on the field, what the expected fantasy points would be,

Right now, Garrett Wilson is ahead of Devontae Adams in that number. That's the most surprising, I think, revelation. Does that stay? Yeah, I don't know what him getting integrated into that offense looks like, change of head coach, change of offensive coordinator. Because you saw Adams finally have a good week last week, which you would expect them to get better and better as they integrate into the offense. Yeah, I mean, he had a good week while Garrett Wilson's putting up one of the best catches of the season.

Yeah, that was awesome. The Michael Jordan catch? That's all the time we have today. See you later, everybody. No, we have Sunday Night Football. We got the 7-0-1 Lions against the 6-3 Texans. The DraftKings Sportsbook line, Detroit minus 3.5. The over-under is 48.5. On the surface, seems like it might be pretty fun. We have Detroit really the cream of the crop of the NFL, I think, right now. It's weird because I know that the Chiefs have a better record, but they haven't looked the way that

the lines have looked the Chiefs remind me a lot of the Philadelphia Eagles last year the Eagles I believe were undefeated at 7-0 were beating everyone but you're watching these games you're like they don't look great they are winning and they're not a bad team but they don't look great now the Chiefs could get it together now that they've got Hopkins and maybe they'll get some of their injured players back you know Pacheco and and even Hollywood for the playoffs but

But I agree with you. Detroit looks like the best overall team in the NFL. If the Ravens' defense was better, they could contend. But the Lions are, right now, they feel just unstoppable. They also added a pass rusher. Zedaria Smith coming over in the trade deadline. You know, the interesting thing about them is, while they're one of the best offenses in football on a regular basis, they've won six straight games.

Jared Goff is playing good football. Gibbs, Montgomery, Amon Ra, always good starts. They do have players that are like, you know, Laporta and Goff. Goff, middle of the pack. Jamison Williams, kind of hot and cold. Like, it's not a full every week start for those three players.

No, no, it's not. I mean, Laporta is one of those guys that you could really, really, really look and say, do I want to start him or a Hunter Henry type of player? I think it's fair. I mean, if you aren't questioning the should I just auto start Laporta, you're making a mistake more often than you're not. Right now, he's the tight end 15. And for reference, if you're the tight end nine, you suck. So...

I mean, he's been really, really bad. Not super involved. If you look at his since the bye week and some of these games were missing, Jameson Williams, one target, two targets, six. Okay, three targets. Those just aren't reliable numbers. He's a talented player but doesn't have the volume. I think, I hope you're not playing Sam Laporta this week and that you have a better option to pivot to. Or a better Otten.

Oh, Otten is an easy in over Laporta. I've got guys like my start of the week, Hawkinson, where I feel like I would rather play Hawkinson than Laporta. This is also not an easy matchup. Texans are number two against tight ends on the course of the season. If you adjust for schedule, they're still top five. Would you go Laporta or Jake Ferguson?

With Cooper Rush, I think I'm going to stick with the team-implied total. The thing with Laporte is one big play can make your day. That's the hope. But it's a good point. It's also like I don't have Nico Collins anywhere, so I don't care if he plays or not. But I sure care about whether this is a great Sunday night football game and him being in the game would make a big difference.

I'm not sure it really hurts Tank Dell in your start of the week if he's in there. You need to keep up with the Lions, and that's hard to do. I mean... Tank Dell's DK receiving line, that's 64 and a half. That's nice. That's not bad. Double-digit fantasy points the last four weeks. He...

Despite giving Jason grief for the quad down, I think that Tank Dell is a good play. Jameer Gibbs, just to share some analytics with you. Number one in the NFL in average rushing speed, 13.45 miles an hour. Number one in average yards before contact. Number one in rush success rate. And number one in EPA, which is estimated points added per carry. So he has been so electric.

No one who has Gibbs is disappointed by him, but I think you want so much more because it's Lamar Miller, man. Just let it be. Let it be what it is. The ride is wild. You look at the game log. 16, 18, 12, 11, 22, 1, 6, 18. It's beautiful. You watch the game. I have Gibbs. I've got Monty. You will not see him in a first quarter sometimes. No.

The first drive, never. Never. The first drive belongs to my man David Montgomery. If Montgomery had both of his cleats came off, they'd put him out there barefoot on the first drive before putting Gibbs in. They'd burn a timeout. They'd say, David is our first drive guy. So it is frustrating. Gibbs is charging up in that time. Is that what he's doing? Oh, yeah. I literally think it might be one of those things where they're thinking we want someone to go and hit the defense. Like physically, we want to tenderize the meat. We want to tenderize the meat for Gibbs.

and it's working. Not only has Gibbs been consistent, and it's frustrating because you're not getting more, but I was surprised today. I looked at

I was looking at the running back, you know, on the season, who's the best running backs on a points per game basis. Because some guys have missed games like Joe Mixon. Some guys have had bye weeks like Barkley and others have played the whole season so far. And the numbers get out of whack. But Jameer Gibbs right now is the number five running back. He's top five in points per game because they've already had their bye week. He's just been outstanding. And

goodness, if David Montgomery goes down to injury, I mean, he'll be the number one back. Joe Mixon has been darn near the number one back in football. His fantasy finishes, other than the game he got banged up in,

He's top 12 every week. He's been amazing. They're so committed to giving him the ball that it feels like you can survive with the inefficient game, which he might have in this one. Yeah, I expect him to have one, but I just talked about Gibbs being number five in points per game. Mixon is number three in points per game. He's been absolutely outstanding. Yards per carry is not everything, but he's at 4.8 right now.

which the highest mark of his career by far was his sophomore year at 4.9. Everything else is like 4.1 or lower. It's like to be this far. Have you seen Jason? He's lost like 47 pounds. Sometimes you peak the older you get. Maybe, yeah. Just wait until Mixon is 40. Sometimes you do, but for running backs in the NFL, this is very backwards. Jason and the running backs are not a perfect comp.

Well, no. That's more of an offensive lineman. No, it's an incredible year. I understand what you're saying, but he also is a perfect fit for this offense.

And this game will be fun to watch because they're wearing those cool red jerseys. Yeah, there's not much to decide here. I think the only questionable thing of like, do I really start or sit outside of Sam Laporta? Is it Jameson? Or the quarterbacks? Oh, I got you. Stroud and Goff. Stroud and Goff. Nah, nah. I know. I'm kind of nah, nah on those two. It's not a great week for quarterbacks. But I'd rather play Darnold. I'd rather play. Would you rather? Here's a wacky question.

Would you rather play Mahomes? Yeah. Really? That one I'm not sure on. Then who? Stroud or Goff? Either. Who would you rather play the most to? I'd play Mahomes over Goff. Goff freaks me out, man. Goff can win 52-7, and he could throw for like 90 yards. I'd play Aaron Rodgers over both of them. I agree. Yeah, that's a good point. We've got a couple quarterbacks in this one to talk about. Miami 2-6, Los Angeles 4-4, the DraftKings Sportsbook line here. At home, the Rams...

Breaking news. Please be the Nico Collins has been. Nico Collins has been.

Designated for a return. Yeah, baby! Woo! I needed it! Woo! Okay, CJ Spouts back in. Well, that almost timed up with our matchup exactly. I didn't see the news, so I genuinely was. Brooks just posted it. I was a fish looking at a delicious lure, and I wasn't sure if there was a hook in there or not. But I'm going for it. I'm eating the heck out of it.

He has been designated to return slash return to practice, and we have made another roster move. That's from the Houston Texans. Well, that's great because you know what? For Mixon to score touchdowns, they're going to need to move beyond their own 30-yard line. This is good for Sam Laporta. This is good for Jamison Williams. This is good for the Detroit Lions offense where it's like they're not going to just run the ball if the Texans can't score. The Texans aren't the same without Nico, and it's nice to have him back.

That is big-time news. Miami 2-6, Los Angeles 4-4. The Rams at home, one-point favorites. Over-under is 50. That's a lot of points. Very excited about what we're getting on Thursday and Monday this week. Miami and the Rams with a 50-point over-under. Outstanding. Lots of fantasy-relevant players. Puka, Cooper Cupp, Kyron.

You said you're kind of out on Matthew Stafford. I don't know why I keep returning to him this week with a little bit of excitement. His DK passing yards line is 260. Oh, that's really good. I just feel like maybe he's obviously been very good with these two guys on the field. You have to contrast that with the Dolphin defense being so good against quarterbacks.

I just think they're on to something right now in Los Angeles, and I don't know. Like, if this game was on the road in Miami, I would be more out. But at home, control of the environment, I'm kind of –

I'm kind of kicking against the analytics with Stafford. I don't know how dumb that's going to look. Let's actually dive a little deeper to see because right now the Miami Dolphins are number two against quarterbacks over the course of the season. They're giving up on average negative 4.2 fantasy points against what that quarterback's average usually is. However, you had Tua knocked out halfway through the Buffalo game. Then you had a four-game stretch against...

against Seattle, Tennessee, New England, and Indianapolis. And in those four games where the offense of the Dolphins could do absolutely jack squat. And so the offense of the opposing matchups really didn't have to do anything while they lost all those games. You had negative 5.9. I remember the Richardson game too where he was inept. Yeah, negative 8.6, negative 5.9, negative 6.4. Those were in the two of those games. Two has been back for two games.

Against Arizona, Kyler had a great game. He was eight points over his expectation or his average.

Then you had Josh Allen last week, two and a half points over his average. He's got a good average. And he's got a good average. So maybe the Dolphins, when you look at them as a matchup, because this is what I've been fearful of, is you can run on the Dolphins. They're more of a run funnel. You're not passing on the Dolphins well this year. And they do have some talent. They've got Jalen Ramsey back there. However, I think some of those metrics are...

I don't know if it would be inflated or deflated, but I think they're wrong. I think they are indicative of more of the Tua injury. So I am warming up to Matthew Stafford in this matchup. Well, Vegas has a high over-under in this one. I mean, the 8-chan has been incredible. We still haven't had a big game from Tyreek Hill since the return of Tua.

It could happen here. No question. We're all waiting to see if Jalen Waddell, who you now no longer have to play, can get it done. I think I will play him. What do you think, man? Ladd-McConkie or Jalen Waddell? What do you think, man? I'd be playing one of those two for sure. Yeah. I'd have to. I will too. Mike, where are you with Waddell right now? His receiving lane is 42.5. So...

Jalen Waddle is... Which is only... What? It's only five more than Johnnie Smith. Did your tooth almost come flying out your mouth? I don't want to talk about it. Oh, that is... You might have heard it, though. So we're in a weird place with Jalen Waddle. Look, when I'm looking at Waddle, I'm always looking at how is he keeping pace with Tyreek Hill?

And it's like Tyreek Hill is, of course, way better for fantasy, and he's a better wide receiver than Jalen Waddell. But it's not like Tyreek Hill himself is not having these huge electric games, even with Tua back the last two. It's been better than Waddell, but it's...

Like they're, they're, they're both not succeeding. So that's interesting. As long as they're both not succeeding, I'm not going to completely give up on J. Johnnie and HN are affecting both of them. They are with the yards per game. Like waddles averaging one yard more than Johnnie per game this year. That is reason enough to sit waddle down. I will see the, again, when two of was gone,

John who was ever everything. I mean, John, who was an incredibly, he, he probably led the team in targets during that stretch. I don't have that in front of me, but just from memory, that's what it looked like. John, who's still involved. It hasn't really stopped. I mean, six targets, six targets.

Yeah, and 8chan has been like eight targets, eight targets. So I agree that those two guys have – 8chan. 8chan. Well, that's a whole other thing. That's a website you don't want to go to. Oh, that's right. That's not 4chan? No, no, it is. Is there an 8chan too? Yeah, 8 has got to be way worse. It's double worse, I guess. Anyways. Never mind. I –

I'm thinking about this game script-wise, a 50-point over-under, what Waddle still can do. He got a touchdown last week and had an insane play at the end that took away 20 of his yards. If I'm looking at Ladd McConkie against Tennessee or Jalen Waddle in this matchup against a really high over-under and the 26th-ranked defense against wide receivers,

I think I'm going to play Waddle in this matchup. Andy's cackling, and I don't know why. Go take a look at our League of Record feed. He just put Jamar Chase on the block. Okay.

And instantly stared into my soul. He looked at me immediately. You should trade for him. Al Borland looked at me immediately and just started shaking his head. To give a little context for why Al is so specifically mad, Al the day before, I believe it was the day before, was trying to trade for Chase. He poked the current manager of Chase and said, hey, I don't know if you're looking to sell or not, but I'd love to look into Chase. And he basically said, I'm not selling. I'm in it.

and Chase is untouchable. And then the next day, makes a...

surprising uh offer to Andy's inbox of would you like Jamar Chase for not that much much less than what Jeremy would have offered it was taking a shot on the Amari Cooper trade to Buffalo yeah I mean you got to call your shots sometimes and oftentimes those the same manager called his shot on Tyrone Tracy yeah and it felt like it was bad and it was a brilliant move because Tyrone Tracy looks like could be a a league helpful winner down down the stretch

But that's why Al is especially upset is because he feels like he should have Chase. But bringing it back full circle, he's available to be had now. Send me your offers.

Okay. So, look, the decisions on the other side outside the quarterbacks, they're not hard. Kyron Williams, Cooper Cup, Pukunukua. DeMarcus is an emergency play. In a high over-under, he could get something done. I think people are always hesitant when you're the third option wide receiver.

But it can happen. I mean, we saw it with these guys on the field two weeks ago, two touchdowns. That's the only place he thrives, Andy, is being the third option. Yeah, that's fair. Some injury updates before we get into fancy face-off, apparently. Dave Canales said it's a possibility that Jonathan Brooks could play Sunday, but not a guarantee. Oh, my gosh. I did see his status go from healthy to questionable. So he is...

You know, they signed a contract and now they're like, maybe we can wait. They have activated him. So he will, he will be part of the, the, the roster. He, if he is, he'll basically be a healthy scratch if he doesn't play. Um, but he should play football this year and goodness. I hope it's this week. By the way, I want to make sure we're clear about the Nico Collins news. The Nico Collins news was not that he's playing on Sunday. The news is,

was the first step of playing on Sunday, which is designated to return to practice. So now he can go be on the practice field.

That is 100% true. It is not a guarantee he would play. However, it would be a shocking situation to me because they didn't have to activate him. They have plenty of time. But you do need to activate him to know if you can practice and be okay. Right, correct. But this means that they will have to have taken another roster player and gotten rid of that roster player to make room for Nico ahead of the game. It pushes me to the point where

I'm willing to risk it now. I'll try to find my emergency backup plan, but my plan will now be Nico instead of taking a morning player and just be like, I'll miss out on Nico this week. I've got a couple trade offers for Chase that I'm going to have to decline. I'm sorry. I'm going to have to let him go. All right, I guess we've got to do this. ♪♪♪ Fantasy Face-Off, presented by DraftKings. ♪♪♪

Well, we've got two weeks to pay out here with the Wheel of Shame. Jason lost two weeks ago. I lost last week. And Mike is the winner of both. I am the winner by not being the loser. Are we spinning the wheel? It's one spin. It's one spin? I didn't hear what you were saying because I was putting Nico Collins in my roster. I won this week.

Is that what you said? Yeah, you won last week. Yes, this past week. Okay. What I was saying was that you lost two weeks ago. I lost this past week. And Mike wins because he's not spinning the wheel. Yes, sure. I just wanted to make sure it was clear you did not win. No one cares. Oh, yeah. No one cares. They're going to look at you like a winner when you're dressed up. We've got to spin the wheel, Jason. And apparently it's one spin for both of us. Yeah, one spin to rule them all. Wheel of.

I don't like this. Papa Josh back there smirking like he thinks this one's... Well, because he's got this stuff. Yeah, he knows what I'm saying. Spin the wheel, guys. Well... So we got... Was there something? There was a pizza face, mall cop, fighting Irish. Oh. Oh, the gnome zone. That's not the bone zone.

No, it is not. You like red or do you like blue? I like red. Okay. I would start with beard, then go ears, then go hat. Wait, we have a beard? Yeah. Mike can describe what the heck's going on. So the boys are putting on their very shameful gnome outfits here. Jason's going David the gnome. Is there a beard problem? Oh, your beard's coming off. My beard. Oh, no. It's backwards. It's backwards.

I thought it was already ruined. It was just a backwards beard. It's very uncomfortable, Mike. It's a really long beard. No, put the ears on. Put the ears on. Do not. Come on. Get in the air of the gnome zone. Why are the ears so high up on Andy's head? That's where they are, Mike. It's not up to us. It's up to the costume. All right. Wow. Andy looks like Merlin. This is so uncomfortable. All right, quarterback. I'm going Brock Purdy, 6,500. All right. I already hate my lineup. I'm going Justin Herbert against that Tennessee Titans matchup because he was only 5,200. A disrespectful price. I'm hoping that it works and he gets enough points. You got some beard in your mouth over there? Proceed with your pick.

We are live, boys, because I'm going Aaron Rodgers at 5700 against the Arizona Cardinals. Okay. Okay. Come on, Andy. Get it together. What's wrong over there? Easy and some beer. I'm eating so much beer. All right. We decided we weren't going to ban Alvin Kamara.

because that would make the worst lineup. So Alvin Kamara at 8,100. DeAndre Swift at 6,500, my start of the week. I've got Alvin Kamara as well as at 8,100. And Jonathan Taylor at 7,500 against Buffalo at home. I had that as a lineup, but I did pivot. I remade some stuff. But Alvin Kamara, of course. And then I went with Aaron Jones. Yeah, 6,700. At 6,700 against the Yaxville Jaguars. I could not squeeze that extra 200 out to get him in there.

My wide receivers, this is why I couldn't. Justin Jefferson at 8,800. Jawan Jennings stacked with Purdy at 5,100.

And then at 4,200, I am going Jalen McMillan. If he doesn't play, it's a pivot into Sterling Shepard at the same price. What if he doesn't play? Then it is a pivot into somebody ugly at 4,200. Okay. I have Jawan Jennings as well as 5,100. Oh, wow. I did not spend up on any wide receivers, which is usually a terrible idea. Well, you got all that cash and...

And Johnny Taylor. Yeah, Johnny Taylor and Alvin Kamara. I've got DeAndre Hopkins at 5,300. Seems like a missed priced player. And I'm stacking Justin Herbert with Quentin Johnston. So, LeGarrius Sneed. Oh, look out. Take your time getting back. Watch out. I got a huge stack. What was your third player? Hopkins, Jennings, and Quentin Johnston. Okay, I like that for me. All right, go ahead, Mike. Jennings is wiped because I have him as well.

Dustin Hopkins. Dustin Hoffman? DeAndre Hopkins, 5,300. Oh, you have him too. I hate the matchup against Denver, but the price was too nice. I feel like the price is indicative of we're still not sure. We could have a week where he disappears. Well, they were Monday Night Football, right?

Yeah. Yeah, so Monday night, the prices are out. Monday night football players, a little cheat code for future playing. Monday night football players don't get their price adjusted based on performance. But I got Rodgers, so of course I have the number one fantasy wide receiver since week five. Garrett Wilson at $7,200. I almost had Adams in my lap. I pivoted off of him. My tight end, Hunter Henry at $3,900.

My defense, the Patriots at 2,500 against Chicago, I feel like they are priced really cheaply and yet can do some stuff. And then I am double stacking.

I took the affordable Ricky Pearsall at $4,400. Oh, okay. I'm going Juwan Jenny. I'm very San Francisco oriented this week. I paid down for Juwan Johnson at tight end $3,300, and I paid up a little bit on my defense for the Bears on the other side of your New England Patriots.

But most of my money went to the fact that not only do I have Alvin Kamara and Jonathan Taylor, but I've also got Brees Hall at 7600. Look at this guy. So Brees Hall gets rushing touchdowns, Mike. That's because you've got the Aaron Rodgers, Garrett Wilson stack. That's going to be a big me versus you. I have the Patriots as well. And then I'm running out 12 personnel boys. I thought about it this week, man. At the tight end position.

Mr. Cade Otten at 5,500. And then Hunter Henry is just... Oh, okay. Hunter Henry is the cheapest player who I think actually will get production. 3,900. 3,900. So that's my lineup. What's your defense? The Patriots. Okay. Yeah, they were affordable. Yeah, I wish I could get the Bears, but... Why don't you close this segment out? Not because I'm choking on gnome hair.
