This season on Something Was Wrong, you'll hear the intertwining story of two survivors, Danielle and Kenji, who were brought together by traumatic life events to solve a shared mystery. Who the f*** is Artie?

Like, something is seriously wrong. And never, ever in a million years did I think something like this would happen to me, like, ever. He was looking for a long-term relationship. He wanted to settle down, and now you're turning it on me. Like, I'm the one that got carjacked, and now all of a sudden you're acting like I'm the criminal. And of course, you know, he says he's going to call the police or the police are going to show up soon.

I'd say to my dad, whatever you're about to do or say, I am begging you, please don't. Whatever it is, I can't handle it. Don't want to go there right now. I would wake up in the morning and it would take me a few minutes to kind of realize, wait, is this all a dream or is this really happening?

And as she's bringing the kids inside, she comes in the door and immediately tells me, hey, I think I'm being followed. I ask her, by who? Are you just being paranoid? I then tried to call her, no response. And then three hours go by and I'm like, okay, something's wrong.

So now, instead of thinking he'd be in jail for like three weeks, I had to figure out real fast how to get the hell out of the state for a minute. Telling me he's been in the army and he shot children and that I would hear constantly about how he has no problems hitting women.

But that week was kind of when s*** hit the fan, literally. You're making this up. Please tell me you're making this up. And I'd be like, no, this is the truth. This is what happened. This is what's happening. The first two episodes drop Thursday, August 12th. So make sure to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.

Scammers are best known for living the high life until they're forced to trade it all in for handcuffs and an orange jumpsuit once they're finally caught. I'm Sachi Cole. And I'm Sarah Hagee. And we're the host of Scamfluencers, a weekly podcast from Wondery that takes you along the twists and turns of some of the most infamous scams of all time, the impact on victims, and what's left once the facade falls away.

We've covered stories like a Shark Tank certified entrepreneur who left the show with an investment, but soon faced mounting bills, an active lawsuit filed by Larry King, and no real product to push. He then began to prey on vulnerable women instead, selling the idea of a future together while stealing from them behind their backs.

To the infamous scams of Real Housewives stars like Teresa Giudice, what should have proven to be a major downfall only seemed to solidify her place in the Real Housewives Hall of Fame.
