You probably heard that there were two big elections in Britain and France this past week. And may also have heard that they didn't go great for conservatives. Now, mind you, this would have been our lead story yesterday. This would have been what we emphasized yesterday.

for an entire hour, an entire day. But the Biden news, understandably, was the lead. We don't know whether or not the current president of the United States is going to remain as either president or the nominee. But what happened in Europe is incredibly profound and important, and it is a warning sign as to how they might try to

and stop Donald Trump. Over the weekend, France held the second round of its early legislative election. Now, it's a very goofy system they have in France. They just love, there's a couple things they love in France. They love elections. They love rioting. They love wine. They love cheese. They love other things as well. I'll let you guess what those are. Macron, over the weekend,

President Macron called the election in a total surprise a month ago. In the first round, Marine Le Pen's National Rally Party came in first and looked poised to become the largest party in the legislature. In response, the French establishment panicked and they pulled out all the stops. So here's what they did.

The French centrist party, which is made up of Macron and his goons, uniparty globalists, very pro-war in Ukraine, and most critically, open borders.

Ensemble is the name of the party. They made an alliance with the left-wing socialist coalition, the National Popular Front. In seats where Le Pen's party might have won in the second round, the third place candidate would drop out and tell voters to vote for the non-Le Pen option. So in some seats, socialists told people to vote for Ensemble. And in others, Ensemble told people to vote for the communists. This worked.

Le Pen's party got the most votes overall by a wide margin, but only finished third place in seat total.

You see, in Britain, on July 4th, ironically, the country held a general election, which the left-wing Labour Party won its biggest landslide ever. Out of 650 seats, Labour won 411 of them. The Conservatives went from 365 seats to just 121. Now, let me say, the Conservatives are not conservative at all in Britain. They are pro-trans, pro-pride, pro-grooming, pro-open borders. They are not conservative.

A conservative party. They are conservative in name only. Sound familiar? It's too bad that they didn't get even lower, to be honest, because they deserve to lose every single one of those seats for how badly they have betrayed their voters over the past decade. Other than Brexit, which party leaders only begrudgingly allowed after a referendum, conservatives did nothing to limit immigration. In fact, they dramatically expanded it.

If you visit London, it's become a slum. It is a husk of its former self. British conservatives did nothing to protect free speech or to roll back their equivalent of DEI or to protect British heritage or anything else. And so they lost. But sadly, Nigel Farage's new reform party didn't do well enough yet to

yet to completely displace them. In fact, that is one of the wildest things about the results in Britain. Labour has a supermajority, but only got about 33% of the vote. The Conservatives and Reform combined got over 38%. Because they were almost evenly split, the result is that they got destroyed. Now, what are some takeaways from this? Very important and applies directly to our moment here in American politics. Because what happens across the West is

is a harbinger, is a canary in the coal mine, is a warning sign of what might happen here domestically. First, a big lesson is that European elites would rather ally with literal communists than ever, ever, ever allow immigration to be restricted.

The single highest value of modern Western elites is thou shall replace thy country's population. I want to just pause on this. Marine Le Pen gets called a far right figure. Do you know that she is a doctrinaire French liberal on every issue? She's okay with abortion. She's okay with the gay stuff. She's okay with high taxes. She's okay with the French social welfare system, which is horrible.

overly generous and subsidizes laziness. She's okay with everything except she wants to restrict the amount of immigration coming into France. And for that, she is a traitor. For that, she gets to be called a fascist.

Le Pen believes that French identity, French culture, and the French nation is being displaced and replaced by an Arab Muslim influx that is destroying what it means to be French. Her contention is let's put France first.

Let's put the native Parisians ahead of Syrians. She wants to protect the fabric of traditional French culture. Let France continue to exist. Now, I don't know everything Marine Le Pen has ever said or every statement she's ever held. But if you look at her core policy positions, it's very simple.

Let's slow down or restrict immigration. That is such a no-go, to use a German term, that is so verboten, forbidden, that Macron made a deal with the communists. That Macron, a uniparty globalist, puppet of, puppeteer, master of the universe type, would rather have the furthest left, most radical fringes of the French political system

And it said perfectly there in the National Pulse, Macron's deal with the devil and Le Pen's gains. Now, understand Le Pen, her victory has just been suspended. This is not sustainable for Macron and his government. This is not sustainable for the French Uniparty. Le Pen got over 40% of the vote. That is extraordinary. Just a couple of years ago, she only got 20% of the vote. She has nearly doubled her coalition in France.

And let's just see this. MSNBC and the liberals here in America, they are connecting the dots for us. Let's play cut eight. Machine. It's a it's a it's a big tent party with a whole bunch of people. And that's why I use that French example, because in France they saw this right wing threat. And a bunch of people who don't often agree with each other came together and said that is not acceptable. So we're coming together to sort this out. Is that a message that Democrats in America can take?

Well, absolutely. Here's what I believe. I believe when the president talks about if he doesn't win, there's going to be violence in the streets. He talks about civil war. He talks about bloodshed. I think it's those kinds of issues that bring people together because he's talking about not only undermining our democracy, but he's talking about destroying it. You see, it's the same struggle.

How are they going to try to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president? The Uniparty, who are they willing to do a deal with? Who are they willing to sell out to prevent Donald Trump? Will the RINOs do a deal with RFK? Will the Uniparty do a deal with the Green Party to get them off the ballot and to volunteer to no longer be on the ballot? Will they do a deal with Cordell West? The message that Le Pen had is such a threat. Now, let's just take a step back. Why is that worthy of Macron doing a deal with actual communists? I mean, these are people that would have been Robespierre French Revolution types.

Off with their head. These are guillotine-admiring revolutionaries in the French political system. And until recently, they've been on the fringes. In Europe, they got a party for everything. They got a party for socialists, communists. They got a party for nationalists. They got everything. Macron, though, what would motivate him to do such a thing? The prime directive, the central commandment for Macron is,

The library of this mythology and by mythology, I don't see that it's not even not true. Some mythologies can be true, but it is the library of where this is held. NATO is the creation where this all takes place. And by the way, they're meeting this week in D.C. Joe Biden is hosting some NATO meeting where it's this is the story they tell. Hitler is the worst person ever. Totally true. Evil maniac. That part's true. Killed millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of people.

And he did that because he was a nationalist. And all the suffering that happened because of Hitler's blitzkrieg and his hyper-aggression is because of nationalist tendencies. And nationalism gets you a lust for power and territory.

Therefore, this is the story they tell. We must create a Europe that is the opposite of nationalism, borders, territory, language, culture. It doesn't take that deep of a thinker to say, wait, that's a logical fallacy. Hitler also had a dog. Should we kill all the dogs too in France? Hitler had a girlfriend, Eva Braun. Should we not? Do girlfriends make you want to

take over all of Europe. This is lazy and stupid logic. Maybe it's because he was a genocidal madman and one of the most evil people ever to exist in the history of the world. And it wasn't because of quote unquote nationalistic tendencies. In fact, if you are actually nationalistic, you want to protect your own borders and your own sovereignty. Understand other nation states ended up defeating Adolf Hitler.

So Europe suffered greatly during World War II. It obliterated tens of millions of people's lives from poverty to murder to sickness to disease. And that is a memory that still exists, understandably. And they see Le Pen and they've been trained by the intelligentsia around Europe. That is Hitler 2.0.

Wait a second. She's liberal on abortion. She's liberal on social welfare. All she's saying is that we should slow down and have caution when it comes to mass migration. Doesn't matter. That's how we get Hitler. Sound familiar, doesn't it? That's exactly how our political system is currently configured.

This is lazy and stupid logic, and it is keeping us held hostage by really, really bad people. And understand that the current World Economic Forum globalist impulse is also very evil. You can have multiple flavors of evil that just because you think you are opposing the new Hitler, does that make you good? In some ways, we've been forced to lose our traditions and customs and cultures because

Is that the Uniparty, the Adam Kinzinger types, what are they willing to do to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president? And I'm talking about things that are far more dramatic. And I just someone comes to mind. What is someone like Brian Kemp willing to do to prevent Donald Trump from winning Georgia? We need Georgia. He's the current governor. It's won by a lot.

What would he be willing to do? What would that whole kind of wing of the Republican Party? I hope it doesn't come to that. I hope they all coalesce behind Donald Trump. But the European election and the French connection shows that they might be willing to go to dramatic means. OK, I want to cover Nebraska now. And then we're also going to cover Trump's VP pick and also the latest with Biden. What a breaking news day. You see my hat here?

Breaking news out of the Associated Press this morning. Republican governor pushes to make Nebraska winner take all in electoral college. Now, I've been getting Nebraska emails from you guys, Nebraska emails, and I've just we've been working on this behind the scenes. We've been laying low and there's some breaking news now out of Nebraska.

Nebraska lawmakers were called back into the state capitol to address property tax relief this month in a special session sought by Governor Pillen. But the Republican also had signaled his hope that the session could be used to shift Nebraska to a winner-take-all system of awarding electoral votes ahead of this year's presidential election.

There's a catch. He'll need enough lawmakers to back it. I'll get to that in a second. This is breaking news out of the Associated Press. Pillen's letter to the legislative speaker, Senator John Arch, seeking a special session was sent late last month. It followed a swarm of town hall style gatherings he'd held around the state while seeking to rally support for a legislative answer to the state's rising property taxes.

The Republican governor called the special summertime session to address Nebraska's property tax burden, but also signaled a desire that the allocation of the electoral votes would be addressed ahead of the presidential election in November. Let me say that again. The governor is signaling a desire that the allocation of electoral votes would be addressed ahead of the presidential election in November. So let's go back to square one here and remind you why this matters. If Donald Trump

flips Georgia, if Donald Trump flips Arizona and Donald Trump flips Nevada, but does not win a blue wall state such as Pennsylvania, Michigan or Wisconsin, that would result and Donald Trump loses CD2 in Nebraska. That would result in a 269. I'm sorry, Donald Joe Biden would win 270 to 268.

If so, effectively, let me say that again. If Donald Trump were to flip the sunbelt, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and lose that single congressional district, remember in Nebraska, they do it by congressional districts and you lose that single congressional district in Nebraska. Joe Biden becomes president. The blue dot. If Nebraska decides to go to winner take all like every other state except Maine does, like Arizona does, like Texas does, like New York does.

Nebraska will go to Trump and that would result in a 269 to 269 tie, which would then go to the House of Representatives and every state would get one vote. And we as Republicans should then win. This is an insurance plan and a tiebreaker plan.

We've been on this, as you guys know, for quite some time. We've been laying low, allowing everyone to have a summer break, kind of allowing things to develop. To Governor Pillen's great credit, he is now leading on this in Nebraska, and he's saying all the right things. Pillen said in a letter that he's seeking signal that support exists to take up the issue of changing Nebraska's system of splitting its five electoral votes in presidential elections.

His language indicated he lacked the 33 votes needed among Nebraska's unique one chamber legislature of 49 senators to overcome a sure filibuster on the proposal. Now, let me pause. The filibuster is a fake creation. If we would have followed the filibuster, we would not have Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh or Amy Coney Barrett on the Supreme Court. And Donald Trump would not have presidential immunity and Donald Trump very well not be allowed on the ballot.

The fact that Mitch McConnell, to his great credit, I'm not a McConnell fan, to his great credit, got rid of the filibuster is one of the reasons why we got the reversal of Roe v. Wade. We got the decision. We got an affirmative action. All of the big Supreme Court decisions that we have seen in the recent years is because Senate Republicans got rid of the filibuster. So you can get rid of the filibuster in Nebraska.

The issue comes, as the Associated Press reports, at a critical time for the 2024 presidential contest. Here is a piece of tape of the governor of Nebraska saying that he would call the legislature into a special session for winner take all. Play cut 44.

I'm 100% focused on property tax. I've said from day one, I'm a winner-take-all guy. That mistake was made 30 years ago. There's been a bunch of governors going through that haven't paid attention to it. We're not going to solve it in 30 days. But obviously, if there's a signal that there's votes from the unicameral, I would call a special session to address that issue. That is his public support for that. So what is then...

The state of this. They're saying that they do not have the votes. Well, one part of this article is very interesting. It says this. It says one of the lawmakers said that he did not receive any phone calls about this issue after there was kind of a call to action here. It's kind of strange. Look, if you live in Nebraska, I'm not going to say we should go full throttle on this yet. I think that we need to kind of allow this to develop and allow this to continue to grow. But this is the Associated Press that wrote this story.

By the way, this could determine the entire presidential election. Nebraska could be the key to the entire thing. If you live in Nebraska, I think you should call. You should call your senator and say, no, we haven't forgotten this, actually. We're very much on this. We see this new AP story. By the way, the governor deserves credit. The governor is doing the right thing here. He is leading here. Senator Ray Aguilar said he got zero phone calls about this.

So maybe that's a time to make some phone calls. His number is 402-471-2617. Be super respectful and just say, hey, we haven't forgotten about this yet. Says in the article, pro-Trump right-wing podcaster. Is that my new title, Blake? I'm a pro-Trump right-wing podcaster and activist. Charlie Kirk first publicly called on Nebraska to back the winner-take-all system.

Doing so with just days left in the regular legislative session. Given this year's tight race, Nebraska's system caught the attention of high-profile Trump loyalists, including Charlie Kirk. It was Kirk who publicly called on Pillen to back a winner-take-all system with only days left in the year's legislative session to accomplish it. Within hours of Kirk's social media post, Pillen issued a news release urging lawmakers to make the change. This is so important to do, everybody. The...

And I'll just say this. Make a couple calls if you so choose. I'm not going to do a full call to action yet. We need to let this continue to grow and develop. There's a lot of things happening behind the scenes I can't fill in. This is a live ball, though. This story out of the Associated Press shows that this is alive and well. Democrats thought that this was not going to happen. No way that Pillon is going to do it. Pillon is working it. Republican governor pushes to make Nebraska winner-take-all in the Electoral College. Let me read the final part of this article here.

which I think is very important. The sudden emphasis on Nebraska's electoral vote system shows how much sway Trump and his loyalists hold in the Republican Party, said University of Nebraska Lincoln political scientist Ari Cohen. Really? We needed a professor at University of Nebraska to tell us how much sway Donald Trump has over the Republican Party. Fascinating. And how effectively they are exerting pressure on fellow Republicans to bolster Trump.

Cohen noted that Pillon, who began his term as governor last year, has not campaigned on it, but he has. Now he's putting it on the same level of urgency on a property tax package. This is a great test. And this is exactly what I talk about in my book, Right Wing Revolution. And Pillon is a hero in this. But if Nebraska Republicans fail to get this done, it is a perfect example of how we are not serious about winning.

Do we actually want power? Again, we're not asking Nebraska to do anything goofy. We're asking Nebraska to get into alignment with 48 other states. And the people in Nebraska want this overwhelmingly. When I did that event out in Nebraska, oh, it was overwhelming support on the ground. It is a deep red state.

Now, we don't know yet the timing on the special session. We don't know yet the timing on all this. That's why I'm saying don't light up the phones yet. I think that this is a great signal and a great sign that the governor is right locked on on this. This is a great sign because the governor could have said, I'm sorry, we're just not doing this. No, this is very much a live ball. And the people in Nebraska are some of the greatest in the country. They are hardworking, gritty, down-to-earth.

phenomenal patriots. And I have faith that when it all comes down to it, Nebraska's going to do the right thing. Think about the billions of dollars and billions of man hours that will be spent on this election. And they can make us

This can make us in a much better position to win just by simply passing a single one page bill in a Republican state will win easily. So we are not keeping our eye off the ball here in Nebraska. There are I know there are meetings that are ongoing about this. This is something that we just want to play a little role to try to encourage and to push. But the governor, I mean, again, this is really big.

This is a big article, and I know some people say, oh, I'm skeptical. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt. Let's see how this develops. Let's hold kind of some of our fire here. And as this continues to grow and we got our eyes on it and our finger on the pulse, we will deploy many of you if and when it is necessary. But right now, this is a great signal that is worrying Democrats across the heartland.

Democrats thought that this thing was dead on arrival. No, no, this is very much alive. It is alive because of the great heroic people in the state of Nebraska are keeping it alive. And the governor is doing the right thing here. And we will let you know how we can help, how you can help at the right time.

Fixing Nebraska is not just one electoral vote. It's literally like doing two points better in the polls. That's because the gap between the closest blue wall, that is the gap between the closest blue wall and the closest Sunbelt State.

There's so much more to cover here that we're just going to run out of time. But let me just emphasize this one thing in the minute we have remaining here is that Joe Biden is within the margin of error in every blue wall state. Joe Biden is consistently outside of the margin of error in Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, with Georgia being a little shakier. Why is that the case? Well, let's look at Arizona again. This is the polling. I think Arizona is going to be much tighter than people think.

But Arizona has the two eyes, inflation and immigration. Michigan has inflation, but it's not as much in your face on the immigration issue. And Nebraska fixes it. Nebraska makes it all of a sudden where Joe Biden can't just focus and emphasize his campaign on Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. It broadens the map at a time where Joe Biden is his weakest. This would further weaken his campaign.

Okay, I want to talk about two things here. First, let's get to this clip here. This tells the story. Again, we're on the Nebraska thing, everybody. I will tell you if and when, which is a great quote from Gladiator, one of my favorite movies, which is Russell Crowe as Maximus. And he looks to the Roman troops. It's like the first scene. It's amazing. He says, on my signal, unleash hell. So just wait. Of course, very polite. On my signal, be very polite.

So. All right. I want to get to this J.D. Vance story. But first, this is just too awesome. This is data by data. I was just in Montana. We were helping out Governor Gianforte and doing some stuff in Montana, trying to flip that Senate seat from Democrat tester to Republican sheehy.

This is the state of the race. Joe Biden is now sinking in the polls the entire Democrat ticket. Play cut 55. But the fact of the matter is you look at the national polling, the generic congressional ballot choice for USF. Look at this.

CNN poll plus two Republican Wall Street Journal poll plus three Republican Monmouth University poll plus three Republican. Yeah, Joe Biden may be in slightly worse shape in these particular polls. But the fact is, when Biden's down four or five, six points, you can only run so far ahead of Joe Biden at this particular point, at least in the race for the House. It does seem like Republicans are ahead because Donald Trump is so far ahead. What's the Senate landscape?

Yeah, what's the Senate landscape? I mean, take a look here. GOP needs just a gain of one for control if Trump wins. And their path is extremely clear because their best chance for a pickup opportunity is in West Virginia. That's a very likely GOP win with Joe Manchin retiring. And the best then pickup chance, perhaps to reverse that so the GOP doesn't gain a net gain of at least one, is Texas.

But that's still a likely GOP win. So the fact is, if Donald Trump wins this election, the race for the Senate, for all intents and purposes of my mind, is over. Nothing is over, first of all. CNN is, they're ahead of themselves. The only thing that we have to, the thing we have to emphasize is how many voters are we registering? How many ballots are we chasing? And are we able to dominate in voting month? Election day is the last day of voting. Election day is the last day of voting.

The Democrats have run up the score in 40 days before Election Day. We are going to do our part to try to close that gap. And the candidate that we believe that can be the most helpful, the vice presidential candidate in addition to Trump, is, of course, J.D. Vance. By the way, the betting markets, let's see where we're at today. I love the betting markets. They tend to be more accurate than polls, actually. And why is that? Because there's actual skin in the game. There's money.

involved and a lot of insiders sometimes will place bets there. J.D. Vance is now the front runner in the betting markets to become Donald Trump's vice president. J.D. Vance was far was not the front runner day before yesterday, and all of a sudden he shot up in the betting markets to become Trump's vice president.

I talked to the president over the weekend, encouraging him to choose J.D. Vance. Wall Street Journal. How J.D. Vance rocketed onto Trump's VP shortlist. This is a great article. Let me emphasize that. If Donald Trump chooses J.D. Vance, unlike Mike Pence, who assembled the entire national security team to try to prevent Donald Trump from ending the Afghan war, true story, Mike Pence would always be back-channeling to the intel agencies while Donald Trump was doing his work. J.D. Vance would be a one-two combo. He would be a two-to-the-one. The movement would continue in harmony. He's the only vice president of the finalists who...

who's actually MAGA populist nationalist, not a more corporate chamber of commerce mold. And again, nothing against that. There's a place for that. But J.D. Vance is a MAGA-ite. You can't backdoor me to the vice president anymore because he has the same world view as Trump. He is the leader in the VP betting markets. Sure hope he ends up being vice president.
