Joining us now is an honorable man, one of the best U.S. senators. He's just amazing. I can't say enough good stuff about him. He is he's 10 out of 10 and he's just awesome. Senator Mike Lee from Utah. Senator, welcome to the program. Thanks so much, Charlie. It's good to be with you.

So, Senator, a lot happening right now in the U.S. Senate. So just kind of walk our audience through a little bit education first and foremost, then we'll get into the details. What constitutionally is the advise and consent process? What did the founders intend for this? How and how is it currently playing out?

The short way of describing it is that the advising consent process is one in which the president nominates and the Senate confirms, meaning the Senate has the opportunity to, if you will, sort of veto. It's like the veto, but in reverse order on the personnel front, as opposed to the legislative front, where the Senate and the House together will offer up legislation the president can veto. Presidential appointees, the president nominates, the Senate confirms. So,

So it's a yes or no proposition at the end of the day. And anytime you have the political party of the president aligned with the political majority in the Senate, normally you can expect to see a lot of cooperation among the senators, particularly the senators of the majority party, to confirm that president's choices. That's not automatic, not presumed, of course. But in the last four

four years, for example, where the Senate has been under the control of the Democrats during a Democratic administration. The Democrats basically never break ranks, particularly on the president's most important nominees, his key cabinet-level positions. And I think that's one of the reasons why it's important for us as Republican senators right now to get behind President Trump's nominees. Obviously, everybody's got their own decisions to make in each case, but particularly with

With key nominations that are of the utmost importance to the president, we should err always on the side of deferring to President Trump. Yeah, of course. And that is the mandate the American people gave. Unless there's something so glaring, so troublesome, which of course is not there. Senator...

You have voiced support, I believe, for Pete Hegseth amongst other candidates. Can you speak to why and your public case to your colleagues as to why they should support Pete Hegseth? Yeah, I'm a big supporter of Pete Hegseth. I hosted him in a meeting with about a dozen Republican senators Monday night.

here in the Capitol. He came in and met with us. He outlined his bold vision for running the Department of Defense. He acknowledged that we've got a lot of problems. He acknowledged up front the job of the US military and of the Department of Defense.

is really to take care of the warfighter and make sure that the warfighter can do the warfighter's job. And the warfighter is to be intimidating, threatening, frightening even to our adversaries, our current and would-be adversaries around the world. It is not to be woke. It is not to fulfill some mandate from the far left wing of the Democratic Party's base. That's what he is going to restore on day one. He said, I walk into that building once I'm confirmed and

and the DEI stuff comes to an abrupt end that very first day. That is exactly what we need right there. And it's one of the reasons I'm so proud to support him. Also a big supporter of Kash Patel. It's another really key appointment that the president needs to be able to make. The FBI, like the Department of Defense, has a lot of problems in it. And Kash Patel is exactly the guy we need in there. He knows where the bodies are buried, so to speak, metaphorically speaking, of course. Although with the FBI, you never know.

Kash Patel scares people to death in Washington. The swamp creatures are scared of Kash Patel and FBI and of Pete Exess and the Department of Defense because they know they will get to the bottom of what's wrong with both entities. Do you believe that Kash Patel is likely to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate? I do. And for one simple reason, there isn't a good reason

to oppose him. I would say that to Republicans and Democrats alike, there's not a good reason to oppose him. It's important to remember, this is a guy who has a lot of important credentials, including being a former prosecutor. The same credential has been held by many prior FBI directors

He, incidentally, has prosecuted more cases than Kamala Harris, who has been a significant part of her career as a prosecutor. So Kash Patel also was the author of a brilliant memorandum, at least a primary driver of this important memorandum when he was working for Congressman Nunes in the House that uncovered the Russiagate hoax.

And so as he's proven his ability, not only as a prosecutor, but later on the House Representative's Intelligence Committee staff, he's proven his ability to weed out corruption, to weed out falsehoods, to weed out the deep state's worst, dirtiest, nastiest, ugliest tricks. That's why they hate him. And that's also why we must confirm him.

I completely and totally agree. And so speaking more broadly here, Senator, the Republican conference has an opportunity to send a signal to the rest of D.C. that it is not going to be business as usual. Speak also to Tulsi Gabbard, Bobby Kennedy. Yeah, I'm a huge supporter of both of them. I know

I worked with her when she was in Congress, worked with her on a number of religious liberty fronts. She's a bold fighter, and I think she has been so strong in calling out abuses in Washington.

She herself has been the victim of a retaliatory deep state system that put her on the terror watch list, actually had minders like spies literally following her as she traveled around the country. Totally unacceptable. Bobby Kennedy, I don't know him as well. I've met him only once. He comes from a very different political background than I do. But I respect and deeply admire the fact that he,

He's one who's going to stand up against this sort of government food drug industrial complex that very often has not led to better health outcomes. It's wonderful. I want to get your reaction very quickly as we close your senator to this extraordinary clip. New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg pushes for preemptive pardons. Play cut 120.

I shouldn't say easy, but there's a way to do this, I think, that would make the narrative clear cut for the American people. It's not ideal to have an incoming potential head of the FBI, Kash Patel, who has published enemies lists.

But one advantage of that is that he wrote a book. He has an enemies list in it. So we know exactly who he has threatened to go after without cause. Just pardon everyone on it. Pardon everyone on it. Give a speech. Say, you know, and this is one reason I wish that the president was a better. OK, so, Senator, one minute. Your reaction to this idea that Joe Biden should be doing sweeping preemptive pardons. I don't think this has ever been done in American history.

Yeah, Charlie, right smack dab in the middle of her comment, of her little tie right there. It was a two-word combination. The words were without cause. So she's saying, Kash Patel has identified people who he wants to investigate. Okay. But she says without cause. And because it's without cause, she insists that that is the need there for a pardon to insulate these people from legal accountability. It's so compelling in her mind.

because it is without cause. He presupposes the answer to the question that she poses. And she presupposes it in a way that is without foundation. He hasn't established that it's without cause.

Ash Patel would beg to differ that it's without cause. In any event, this would be an odd way of going about it. I mean, it's one thing when you've got Gerald Ford pardoning Richard Nixon. Yes. When that whole episode happened. But when you're talking about a fairly wide net,

of saying, okay, let's look out for the people who we know that the incoming administration might have caused to realize, might warrant investigation. And I haven't read this book.

I'm not very familiar with the list that he's talking about. I'm not going to weigh in on that and what he's going to do. I can't speak for Cash Patel. But to just throw a white net out there and say we're going to pardon all these people prospectively because we think the incoming administration might have reason to investigate them, that's weird. That's really weird. And it's not just weird, it's creepy.

One of the most bizarre and eerie stories of this entire year unfolded yesterday in Manhattan. So...

The CEO of UnitedHealthcare, a major health insurance company that does over $400 billion in revenue, was in New York City for a shareholder meeting or for an investor meeting report. And he was walking the streets of New York alone, which was kind of bizarre. No staff, no security, and was walking into the Hilton Hotel.

When he was about to walk in around 645 in the morning, a masked gunman with a firearm with a silencer attached, a very important detail, starts shooting at him. First shoots at him in the leg. His gun jams and then fires a shot that ended up killing him behind his back.

There was a woman that witnessed this on 122 with coffee and just kind of ran away. This was obviously not a random shooting. This was targeted. Now, this doesn't seem to be like a professional assassin, but it does seem to be someone that might have that 100 percent was targeting him. So look,

The guy then wrote on the bullets, delay, deny, defend, on the shell casings that were left on the screen. Inscribed were delay, deny, defend. That is a common phrase about insurance companies. In fact, the title of a book by Jane Fineman, delay, deny, defend. And so this is becoming more and more clear that this was a

anti-health insurance killing or shooting was this person um hired for this now the guy's gun was not even semi-automatic very strange there are not many commercial guns like that

So there are a lot more questions than answers here. He had to rack the gun every time he shot. There is also a picture of him allegedly at Starbucks right before, and even though it doesn't look like him, and the sweater actually looks a little different, they're saying it's him, fine. The wife did say that the CEO received threats recently. You have to wonder exactly, is it because that they were...

denying claims to people and not giving people coverage for their health care. These are all outstanding questions. And then, of course, there was also an act of Justice Department investigation into UnitedHealthcare. And so on top of that, former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz, who is a lizard freak,

she's a terrible person. She said that we want these executives dead after murder of health insurance CEO. And so there's so many questions around this. Was this assassin hired? Was this targeted directly towards him? Obviously, because the shell casings say delay, deny, defend. And then

Where is he? Where is the shooter? And that's the other bizarre thing. In one of the most surveilled, one of the most watched, one of the most, let's just say, trafficked cities on the planet, this guy's able to just disappear? If this guy was hired to kill him, then he's also probably dead by now. Was this guy impacted by a lack of coverage? It is less and less likely that this guy was actually killed.

hired to do this it's more and more probable that he or someone that he loved had a health insurance dispute and this guy made it his life's mission um to go kill the ceo of united healthcare how he knew he was going to be walking the streets is also another bizarre wrinkle how do you know he was going to walk in the streets at 6 45 a.m one of the strangest stories of 2024

Joining us now is Jeff Younger with a very, very powerful story about the trans mafia and how it's impacted him. Jeff, welcome to the program. Tell us your story, please. Howdy, Charlie. Nice to see you again. Well, you know, my ex-wife began to transition my son when he was three years old. If you go out to YouTube, you can just search for Mommy Says I'm a Girl, and you'll see the first iPhone video I ever took with him telling me that he believed he was a girl.

She ramped this up and eventually the schools in Capell, Texas began to transition my son behind my back. I'd take him to school in boys clothes. The teacher would give him a dress and make him use the girl's bathroom. This went on for a year and a half. In our divorce, all of the psychologists lied. They said that she was not trying to transition my son to a girl and that actually I had made a false accusation. And on that basis, they gave me less than standard possession.

But she continued to do it. And in 2019, we had another trial. We brought in the top experts from both sides. I won 50-50 custody, no child support. But most importantly, I got a check on all medical procedures on my son because the pediatrician that my wife, ex-wife took my son to, Dr. Pape in Flower Mound, Texas, intended to castrate James at eight or nine. And I was able to stop that.

During that whole process, I lobbied the Texas legislature and mobilized the movement and got it outlawed here in Texas.

Because of that, the judges in Dallas County moved my case into the 301st District Court with Judge Mary Brown. She systematically stripped me of all parental rights instead of giving me 50-50 custody. She gave me supervised visitation that required me to affirm my son was a girl. Because I refused to affirm my son was a girl, she let my ex-wife move to California out of Texas where she could castrate him because I had got that law passed. I went up to the Texas Supreme Court.

Only one justice voted to protect my son. That was Justice Devine. All the other justices voted to let my son go to California to be chemically castrated. This is supposedly Republican conservative court.

In the California court with Judge Mark Uhoffs, he refused to give me an independent medical exam of my son. He refused to give me an independent psychological exam. And he even did not require the other side to give me any evidence. I went to trial getting no evidence from the other side. He gave me supervised contact. I can't even call my children.

I must affirm my son is a girl. And but worst of all, he gave my ex-wife sole legal custody, which allows her to chemically castrate him, which I believe has already happened. I mean, this is this is just jaw dropping and honestly breathtaking. So have you had a chance to see your son recently? No.

The only way I can see him is if I affirm that he's a girl. So I haven't been able to see him. It's been almost three years at this point. I've sent letters to him and birthday presents and Christmas gifts and Easter gifts. My ex-wife, as far as I know, doesn't give those to him. In the judge's order in California, the recent order from two weeks ago, he said she's not required to give him letters or my children letters or gifts. She can send them right back to him anytime she wants.

So what I've been doing is posting letters on my Substack, jeffyounger.substack.com, and I post letters to my boys regularly in hopes that they know that their father still loves them and is still trying to protect them. As a deeper question, unrelated to this topic, but it is connected. Do you believe that generally fathers do not get the hearing or the rights that they deserve in divorce proceedings in this country?

Oh, definitely. The statistics show that very clearly. I know in Texas, 93% of the time, fathers get 27% or less of the time with their own children. The reason for that is very simple. The federal government has created financial incentives for the states to remove one of the parents in divorce.

The Title IV-D program gives states reimbursements for the collection of child support, and it's 66 cents on the dollar for administrative expenses. In Texas, it's $480 billion. It's almost half a billion dollars. It's almost half a billion dollars. And that kind of money on the line, the states get more money when the court issues more child support and collects more of it.

And so they remove fathers because there's a financial incentive to do so. So legislatively, you've become somewhat of an expert. You did some amazing work in Texas. What in an ideal world would the federal government do to prevent this from happening to future families? I think the federal government needs to outlaw the chemical castration of minors. And I think Trump is on the right track.

Hospitals should simply be federally decertified and ineligible for insurance reimbursements if they're harming children with these practices. The other thing that I think we need to do is take a look at those Title IV-D incentives and instead change the incentives to create a condition where the states get more money if both parents can equally share in their children's lives.

So, for example, the money should be tied to equal possession time between the parents and the states wouldn't be removing fathers on an industrial scale the way they're doing now. So let's let's dive even deeper into this. It's not just that there are states that allow for the castration of children, but California is a magnet and a sanctuary and almost a soft subsidy for it. Explain more.

So California passed a law which I call the transgender kidnapping bill. Many of the conservative foundations also called that. And actually, many of the conservative foundations warned parents not to take their children into California after they passed this bill. One of the arguments I made to the Texas Supreme Court is that California does not even allow any public servant, including police,

to obey court orders from another court. So even if my son was ordered back to Texas to protect him, California would not obey that order and they would not send him back.

At age 12, if a child voices consent for these irreparably harming procedures, the state obligates medical providers to give that to the child. They have a mandatory affirming policy. Children who are confused are pushed into these barbaric procedures. And really, after they get cross-sex hormones, there's almost no turning back.

Let's talk more about the factory here. I know you've become, unfortunately, a subject matter expert on this. Can you talk about the money that is being made here? Do you believe there was a heavy and significant financial incentive to castrate your son?

Yeah. So first of all, Obama created an incentive by giving subsidies to insurance companies that pay for these procedures and mandated that the insurance companies pay for these procedures. That's the first thing. The second thing is the drugs that are used are among the most expensive drugs sold in the United States. The hospitals get a significant markup and the pharmacology companies get tremendous profits from it.

The estimates in the Texas gender clinics was that each child that goes into the gender clinic is approximately a four and a half million lifetime income stream to these clinics because they can't get off the drugs. And once they have the surgeries, what it essentially amounts to is these children have an open wound. And the so-called gender affirming care after they do the surgeries is

is as functionally identical to outpatient wound care because they have to keep the wound open because the body will naturally close up and grow all this stuff back together. So they have to keep the wound open and have permanent lifetime wound care, which is very painful and very expensive and very lucrative for the clinics. It just, it's so sick. I mean, this is systemic institutionalized child abuse. These kids become annuities.

Is there anything non-legislatively, Jeff, that you look back that you wish you would have done differently parentally? Things you would have known, signs you would have seen. I know this is a difficult topic for you to talk about, but is there anything that you look back that you say, I wish I would have known X, Y, Z, or A, B, C, and I want other parents to know this? Well, a couple of things that I've really, very disturbing things that I've learned. In all the 50 states,

It is perfectly legal, in some cases mandatory, for licensed care providers. That's nurses, doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, even teachers. They're licensed care providers. Social workers, daycare workers are licensed care providers. They are allowed in all 50 states to exert a right of privacy for your child against you, the parent.

And they don't have to tell you that they have exerted such a right of privacy. That's the legal basis on which schools have been transitioning children behind the parents' back.

They're exerting this legal right of privacy that they have. One of the things that I learned is you should never leave your children alone with licensed care providers. A lot of pediatricians are trained to ask the parent to leave the room during one part of a well check exam, for example, for your child. And they ask your children all kinds of questions about sexual activity and all kinds of things about you.

Never leave your children alone with licensed care providers. That has a certain corollary when you think about the public schools. You're going to have to get your kids out of public schools and get them into private Christian schools or homeschooling because the states, in many cases, the states require the teacher to affirm your child behind your back. Jeff, how can people support you and your family in this terrible situation?

Look, it's really simple. Get involved in your local community and make sure your schools are not transitioning children. Make sure that your state passes laws against it. While the liberal states have passed these transgender kidnapping bills, none of the conservative states, including Texas, has passed transgender sanctuary laws.

which protect children who come to Texas. If a child comes to the state of Texas or a conservative state, we should not return that child to another state where they'll be sexually abused.

And so we need to pass our own sanctuary laws and try to get that done in your states. That's really the most important way you can support me is by making your state safe for children. Jeff, thank you so much. Really appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you, Charlie. Take care. Incredible testimony there from Jeff Younger, whose son is just gone and being mutilated right now. So what can we do now that we are about to assume political power? And the answer is a lot.

You see, the Democrats, they specialized in this. The Democrats would use the Department of Justice. They would use their instruments of government to come into red states and to red cities and try to make them in their mold. What we're talking about, though, is very simple stuff. So, for example, the Department of Justice needs to launch criminal investigations into every gender affirming care clinic, every child castration clinic across the country, every single one.

We need to look into Lurie Children's in Chicago. We need to look into Boston Children's Hospital. We need to look into the Mayo Clinic. And these need to be criminal investigations. In fact, we need a gender-affirming care czar. There was a doctor in Florida doing viral TikTok videos about mutilating girls.

That doctor should be arrested for some federal law, and I'm sure there's something there. Instead of all these FBI agents going after Latin mass, why don't the Kash Patel working with Pam Bondi and the FBI after, I'm just talking about the youth. I'm not talking about if they're castrating a 28-year-old, that's a separate moral issue. I don't like it, but that's a separate moral issue. I'm talking about 13-year-olds. I'm talking about 12-year-olds. I'm talking about 11-year-olds that are getting drugs. They're getting psychological drugs.

They're being psychologically manipulated by the system. But understand, now that we control the instruments of the federal government, we are able to then use the federal government, we being our movement, like Daniel Penny. If Daniel Penny gets convicted, we're just not going to send any money for New York transportation, or that's what we should do.

You see, the options in front of us are significant. And so when it comes to this gender castration thing, there's many ways to look at it. Number one, you have to look into the advertising of it. Have the Federal Trade Commission go and say, were you guys fraudulently advertising the service? Number two, look into who's making all this money. Don't just go after the

gender affirming cares you need to go and go after Pfizer and AstraZeneca Moderna who are making the Lupron that are being prescribed the 12 year olds go after the pharmaceutical companies that are making the drugs that are going after 12 years you need to make it so toxic to castrate kids in this country that it is no different than the tobacco industry no one wants to touch it I don't want too many lawsuits too much going on then the federal government needs to join

With all the other states and start suing on the civil side and the plaintiffs as well. How powerful would it be if the Solicitor General of the United States, the Department of Justice, joins some of these plaintiff lawsuits of these 12 and 13 and 14 and 15 year olds or these 20 year olds that are detransitioners?

That are suing these doctors because they cannot reach sexual climax and they've been completely cut off and they regret it. And the doctors say, too bad, so sad buyer beware. You're 20 years old. I lied to you when you were 13. These doctors need to go to prison.

Class action lawsuits, squeeze them criminally. And I guarantee you, in fact, Dr. Ethan Haim, who I think is under federal indictment right now for the whistleblower at the Houston Children's Hospital, which I hope that we can get that indictment lifted and fixed with Pam Bondi. Dr. Ethan Haim blew the whistle that there was illegal activity happening in Houston.

follow the whistleblower we need a criminal we need a whole division of doj lawyers that are just obsessed with this this has got to end will not be put up in sacramento this is not like oh you know we're going to leave it to california we're going to leave with new york if you want to castrate kids no no this isn't this is a non-negotiable okay i'm going to put up with this this is there's no place in civil society this is not even allowed anymore in europe

They don't allow it in the UK. They don't allow it in Denmark. They don't allow it in any of these other countries. There is no scientific basis for this. This is voodoo, hocus pocus, made up, fake, fabricated, no different than witch doctor stuff. It's not an exaggeration. There is no basis for this. There's no scientific data, no literature. All the literature they're based on is completely fraudulent. They're like, oh, it's an identity. Well, then if it's identity, how can people detransition from it? If it's identity, how can you be a man one day and a woman another day?

And so we need to make sure that this story never happens again, where dads lose their sons.

because the wife wants to transition their kid because obviously they're psychologically deranged. We're not going to put up with this or where teachers are grooming these kids. The child mutilation issue is one of the morally defining issues of our time. End the cult and we're going to squeeze it every way we can. We're going to try to squeeze it financially, squeeze it legally. We need perp walks of all these doctors that have gone and put these kids under the knife and chopped off their breasts. Federal prison, you abused a child.

We're going to put an end to the cult. Thanks so much for listening, everybody. Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com. Thanks so much for listening and God bless. For more on many of these stories and news you can trust, go to charliekirk.com.
