Game-changing realignment election of a lifetime. The more that we pour over the numbers of what happened last week, it still has not set in. Do you guys agree? Do you guys agree that it just has not set in? It's just... There is almost a feeling of an American renaissance. And I...

I don't want to share too many details. In fact, I will not. But spending the weekend in and around Mar-a-Lago, seeing the president, I have never been more hopeful for what this transition will deliver. The transition team is so focused from Stephen Miller to Howard Lutnick, the whole team, they're doing a phenomenal job from what I've been able to see to fulfill the president's agenda.

In every conversation that I have been able to witness or I've been able to hear, it's, but do they believe what we believe? It's not, did they work for John McCain? It's not, do they have a nice biography? None of that matters. It is a completely different transition than what I was able to witness back in 2016 and 2017. And that should give you a lot of encouragement, everybody, that there is this pace, this focus, right?

about fulfilling what the American people gave us. And what did the American people give us? Well, first and foremost, they rejected the entire mantra of the Democrat Party out of the gate. They rejected it. They rejected what the Democrat Party believes, who the Democrat Party is, and they did a complete repudiation. But also, this is a realignment that puts the American people back in charge.

that puts the American people back in the driver's seat of the nation that we own. We own this country. The American people are in charge. It's we the people, not we the plutocrats, not we the bureaucrats. It is we the people. You see, the Democrat Party bet big that a small subset of issues that are hyper-emotional and very divisive

We're going to determine the 2024 election. Instead, we have been praying and working for a constitutional reset, and we received a constitutional reset. And I want to just say again, for all of you that worked and chased ballots, that registered voters, for all of you, you guys did it. You know, the funny joke is people say, Charlie, I can watch the news again, which is very good for our program, mind you.

Left-wing programs and networks and YouTube channels are going down significantly, understandably. Democrats really thought Kamala Harris was going to win. I still thought it was 50-50. And you go through these numbers, by the way, it was far closer than some people realize. In Wisconsin, for example, or Michigan, Pennsylvania ended up being quite decisive, thanks to the work, obviously, of President Trump and Elon Musk. Fulfilling the mandate is going to be

the new ethos of this program. From now until high noon on January 20th, when President Donald Trump says, so help me God, and lifts his hand off the King James Bible, this program will be primarily focused on fulfilling the mandate you, the American people, gave the president and gave his entire team, gave all of us marching orders.

We don't get to decide what happens. You told us that you want your borders closed. You want business as usual to change, that you want no men and women's sports. And keeping the feet to the fire is incredibly important on this. But I have to say, being at least witnessing some conversations and being part of some, I was so encouraged that at least a week in,

This is not the good old boys network that is rolling in. And let's look at just some of the picks that President Trump has made. Now, mind you, the Elise Stefanik pick is not confirmed. It is not confirmed. So that is, if you have not seen it on President Trump's Truth Social, it is not confirmed. Okay. However, Susie Wiles, amazing. She earned it. And then the one that is confirmed, Tom Homan, the beast, the man.

Officially, the borders are. This is how important the border is to President Trump. Fulfilling the mandate. Former ICE director. I do a chief of staff number one and a border czar number two. That's pretty important, everybody. Think about that. Chief of staff, border czar. Right out of the gate. President Trump is obsessed with making sure that he does what the American people voted for. Telegraphing priorities. You know caravans are already starting to break up and go back to their home countries? Caravans are already starting to say, you know, we've had enough.

This is Tom Homan. Let's begin with his dialogue with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Playa Cut 336. And so the recommendation of the many that you recommended, you recommended family separation. I recommend a zero tolerance. Which includes family separation. The same as is with every U.S. citizen parent gets arrested when they're with a child.

Zero tolerance was interpreted as the policy that separated children from their parents. If I get arrested for DUI and I have a young child in a car, I'm going to be separated. When I was a police officer in New York and I arrested a father for domestic violence, I separated that father from his family. Mr. Holman, with all due respect, legal asylees are not charged with any crime. When you're in the country illegally, it's violation 8 United States Code 1325. Seeking asylum is legal. If you want to seek asylum and go through the port of entry, do it the legal way.

Do it the legal way. Tom Holman is a wrecking ball into this open border scam that we are living through. This is a major power play by President Trump saying, no, I'm not going to be manipulated by you. A spine of steel.

So number one is chief of staff. And before even all the deputy positions are filled, before a national security advisor, I want you to know how rare this is. Typically, the standard operating procedure is chief of staff, the deputies, the clerks, and then you go into all the national security positions. But guess what? The border is a national security position. Our open border being invaded every day. We are being invaded by a foreign nation, the Mexican drug cartels, which will hopefully, God willing, soon be reclassified as a terrorist organization.

And President Trump turns with his transition. Number one, chief of staff, which, of course, you need to do. You need to make sure the air traffic control has some sort of regular order. And then, boom, number two, straight out of the gate, borders are. We've never seen this in American history. In the final weeks of the campaign, President Trump kept repeating the border is his number one priority.

And this is a clear message to DC. We're going to get this thing solved. I've never been more hopeful, even in the four years of the first presidency of Trump, that we are going to have a sealed and closed border. And you know who that's good for? It's good for the young girls that are being sex trafficked from the southern countries. Good for all the kids that are dying from fentanyl. It's good for the people that have seen their wages undercut. Good for the people that have seen their communities overrun by illegals and foreigners. Tom Holman will solve this. The guy's a beast.

He's as good as it gets. Play cut 335 of him on 60 Minutes. Is there a way to carry out mass deportation without separating families? Of course there is. Families can be deported together. It's as good as it gets. By the way, he served under Obama. This guy understands the issue at the border. He's going to be the field marshal. Think of this guy as the general Patton of the United States southern border. That's right.

He is going to be the guy that calls the shots. And I think a military analogy is exactly appropriate given the fact that we are being invaded as a nation and we need that kind of lead, follow, or get out of the way mindset that George Patton would give. Tom Homan, the George Patton of the southern border. He's been there. He knows every detail. He knows everything a border agent can do and can't do. He knows how to work with all the interagencies. And he is an ice cold man.

I was going to say something else, but I'm not going to say it. He's as good as it gets. The last couple of years have been very tough on people economically. A lot of good folks have gotten into horrible debt just to survive. Some of you are paying 20 to 30 percent on your credit card debt and drowning in those monthly bills. If you own your own home, did you know that refinancing that home can help get you help right now? I can hear it now. But Charlie, I have a three and a half

percent rate and I can't refi. Don't be a slave to the rate. Talk to my good friends, Andrew Del Rey and Todd Avakian. Let them crunch the numbers for you and show you. I've used them. They're amazing. I can't say enough good stuff about them. You can consolidate and pay off all your debt, lower your payments, save thousands in interest and possibly even pay your home off sooner.

Get relief at andrewandtodd.com today. Look, we're taking back the country, and you guys did it. It has not even been a week, and you now have a border czar. And by the way, the good news is just going to start flowing, everybody. It's just going to start flowing. And from what I've been able to see from the meetings with Howard Lutnick, who is the chair of the transition, he keeps on asking, hold on.

Are you going to fulfill the mandate? Are you going to do what the president wants? There's this repeated theme, which is just so refreshing to witness. Again, in my small little pieces here, there, you know, went to dinner, nothing, nothing too serious. And I want to get deep into the Senate leadership stuff, but I want to hold on that for a second. The Senate leadership thing is so incredibly important because it is a question of whether or not president Trump will be able to get his agenda implemented. But I want to make one other point here, which is

If you look at this from a God has a plan perspective, which as you know, on this program, we believe that God is sovereign and that God has a plan for all of us. If Donald Trump would have stayed in the White House uninterrupted from 2016 to 2024, I cannot say confidently that 2020 through 2024 would have this kind of urgency. I mean, the energy and the focus and the determination,

I mean, Susie Wiles is just doing terrific from organizing everything. Does it fit in to what we told voters? In fact, I saw somebody with the transition team. They had something printed. You know what it was? It was all the promises that President Trump made on the campaign trail.

And he said, this is what we're focused on. Boom, boom, boom. There's not some sort of other agenda like when Joe Biden or Kamala Harris, what you heard from President Trump in public is now getting executed in private. It's getting acted upon in private. Accountability is incredibly important. And again, of course, I want to manage your expectations, everybody. There'll be good picks and then there'll be picks that, you know, you scratch your head. There, of course, going to have to be some deal making because it's D.C. However,

The direction is just going to be terrific. It's just tremendous. It's terrific, actually. So the American people delivered a clear and resounding message heard around the world. The greatest comeback story in American history. Do we have John Carl from ABC News, by the way, this last weekend saying that this has never happened before in American history? I know I sent it yesterday. It's a terrific clip. And we can't move on, by the way. You know, somebody said, Charlie, when do I stop celebrating? There is no end to this. I want to be very clear.

You are entering a golden era for America. And yeah, look, they might try some big economic collapse thing. They might try some sort. Okay, but bring it up. We're ready for it this time. This is a team of all stars that has been hardened by the COVID propaganda. I know myself. I am a better communicator, better person. I am wiser because of what I went through through COVID. And a lot of people died. But you look back at that and you say, you know what? We turned something really awful into

Into something pretty good. What the enemy means for evil. God will use for good. Genesis 50 20. One of the last scriptures of Genesis. And so here we are with the table set.

To act upon all the things the president said. This is John Carl from ABC News. Cut 344, please. In just 71 days, Donald Trump will be sworn in again as president of the United States. His comeback victory unlike anything we have ever seen in American history. Just take a look at the final results. With Arizona now projected for Trump, he locks in a sweeping victory in every single battleground state. And Trump did more than that.

He made big gains with young voters and with Latinos, doing better among Hispanic voters than any Republican presidential candidate since the first exit polls were conducted in 1976. He even did better among women than when he ran against Joe Biden. Even did better with women. Look, everybody, you guys did this. Every day I said, what are you guys doing? And honestly, the emails that we've received are breathtaking. There is one man, and I feel really bad about this guy,

Because it's just, he should sue. This one guy that drives a truck, what was his name again, Mikey? He quit his job because his business, his truck driving business said you can't vote. He quit his job to go back to Arizona to go vote for President Trump. I mean, I just, when we say that people would crawl over broken glass, this guy quit his job. I pray he finds, what? This guy's name is Randy. I want to help Randy out any way we can. We should help him out if he gets in a financial issue there.

That's what this movement is all about. There's a grittiness. There's a hustle. There's a determination to the core of this movement. And you guys took the country back. And it's not as if you took the country back and all of a sudden you got a bunch of stuff, you know, that is not going in the right direction. You voted for a secure border. You got the best the business has to offer. Tom Homan. And the good news, I think, God willing, is just going to keep on coming. But you guys need to man the battleships these next couple of months because it's just beginning.

Joining us now is Mark Pelletta, Senior Fellow as the Center for Renewing America. Mark, you're a great American, and everybody's talking about Mark Pelletta. They say, Mark Pelletta's got to run this and that and all that. So it's a great honor to you, sir. Mark, how are you doing? And I'm sure you're thrilled about the recent victory. Absolutely thrilled, Charlie. And thank you for everything you did to help reelect President Trump. Going out to the colleges day in and day out is just phenomenal. So thank you in terms of the people who...

made this happen, you're in a very small circle. Well, thank you. And so we are blessed and honored to be able to play a small role. So I want to just ask, what is the direction that you are feeling of this transition? I don't know how involved you are, but at least from what I've seen my last couple of days at Mar-a-Lago,

I feel as if there is an urgency to fulfill the mandate. Your thoughts, Mark? Yeah, Charlie, you know, there's always silver linings, right? 2020 was just outrageous, right? But you had a whole infrastructure, right? The Trump movement that pushed

that was like sort of continued with all of these, these organizations being set up to push the Trump agenda. And you had four years where they developed, right? These ideas. And as you said, Charlie, president Trump is out, was out there making promises and they're all collected up, right? That is the first thing everyone sees whoever's working on the transition team and whatever category is, this is what president Trump said. This is what we're delivering on. It's front and center. And so you have had,

I don't think there's been anything like it. That's why I'm so excited too. In history where you had a president...

who was in, you had it back with Grover Cleveland, obviously, but coming back and having this whole infrastructure to really flesh out, right, his ideas and have people who are involved writing, you know, draft executive orders, writing all these, you know, memos and papers to support what he wants to do. And then when we're coming in and the American people vote, right, this was an overwhelming, as you said, Cleve,

Close in some of the states. I think you did put them over the top in Pennsylvania and other places, right, because of your work and those small margins. But it was an overwhelming victory in the popular vote. The American people want this agenda. As you said at the top of the show, it's a complete rejection of the left, the Democrats' woke garbage that has destroyed this country completely.

Right. And so this everything that the president campaigned on, he has a mandate to implement. And so, as you just said, Tom Holman being being selected right after Susie Wiles, both tremendous selections. But the president showing this is the most important thing for me. And we're going to get it done with a guy with a backbone of steel. Right. That's going to that one is the right thing to do. And to the American people, I think it's a 70 percent approval of deporting illegal aliens in this country. And so, you know, they they're

There's the mandate and there's the experience of people who have been there working with President Trump, the first administration, some battle scars, lessons learned, picking the right people. So I think this could be one of the greatest administrations ever, you know, from the experience, commitment, focus and all that.

I mean, and the people coming in, I'm very excited for the next four years. - I am too. So Mark, let's educate the audience. There are so many positions to fill. Let's just take one department that I care about. I know you do, the Department of Justice.

which I think is going to be one of the most important agencies to fill and to staff. Can you educate the audience and walk them through? It's not just a matter of, you know, picking an attorney general or a deputy attorney general. If you look at the flow chart and they're all publicly available online, it is, it's a monstrosity mark. And if you get one of these wrong, you have a sleeper cell that could undermine your entire agenda. Mark your thoughts.

I think the Department of Justice will be the tip of the spear in terms of implementing President Trump's agenda. You know, the border, right? Working on processing all these, you know, illegal aliens, asylum claims and just getting them out of the country. That's all that's all the Department of Justice that will be working with DHS on.

helping to build the wall and all the legal proceedings and the eminent domain proceedings that were shut down under President Biden, right? So one of the things that will happen, Charlie, is that President Biden on day one and the first 100 days of his administration issued all these executive orders rescinding everything that President Trump was doing. That all changes on day one, right? President Trump has made it very clear. Those are the kinds of things that the Department of Justice will be working on. All

the DEI, the woke, the transgender, the boys playing in girls' schools, all of those issues which involve the Department of Education or other agencies, the legal memos and the work that's going to support doing all those things comes out of the Department of Justice. So what you need

What the president deserves, right, is a fully committed Department of Justice and their career employees. And I you know, you're reading these articles about how some employees are going to try and resist President Trump. And they would be subverting democracy, in my view. Right. The American people voted on this.

the president won on a very clear agenda. And that's the other thing. All of these things were laid out during the campaign, like nothing else for the past four years. And in this, and in the past year of the campaign, um, and, and that's what he has a right to see implemented. Uh,

DOJ across every it's, you know, getting DEI out of the federal government, getting suing companies or universities that do DEI, investigating all the anti-Semitism that's going, you know, and prosecuting people for those horrific acts against people.

looking at drug companies, right? And all the transgender surgeries and keeping it from parents, going after parents, looking at

the January 6th defendants, right? And issuing pardons and commutations for everyone who was persecuted, prosecuted by politically inspired lawfare, right? That's not just on the January 6th defendants, it's other people, abortion protesters, right? Who get thrown in jail for many years simply for just protesting. So that's the agenda. Those are the kinds of things that are going to happen at Department of Justice. That's why it is the tip of the spear.

So how many of those positions in DOJ, for example, are able to be Senate confirmed versus non-Senate confirmed? And that's very important. I hope everyone understands this is why the Senate leadership fight is so important. This is why we've been tweeting like madmen this last weekend.

Because understand that even if you have good, yeah, please Mark, please. Oh, sorry. I think at the top, you know, there's the attorney general, deputy attorney general. Then there's a, an assistant attorney general on just about every single section. Okay. Like the environment, civil rights, the criminal division, um, uh,

the civil division, the solicitor general, all of those are confirmed appointments. They're the leaders of the departments. Yes, you're exactly right. We need to get these people confirmed immediately. President Trump talked about having the Senate to do making recess appointments, which is when the Senate goes into recess for a period of time. I think it's four or five days. That's the minimum. But he can then constitute...

Constitution provides if the Senate's out on recess, the president can make recess appointments that would last until the end of the next session, which would be basically two years of somebody serving in a recess capacity. But all those positions are extremely important. We need the right people. We need people who have backbones, okay? Experience, but really backbones,

And you may know from my background, right, I was involved with the confirmation of the greatest Supreme Court justice in history, right? And that's Justice Clarence Thomas. You know, he's brilliant. He's an originalist. But most important, he has a backbone. He is never bent.

That's what we need from, you know, the appointees of President Trump. And there were too many people in the first administration, right, who didn't have backbones, who thought they knew better than the president, who kept information from him, who tried to subvert him, right, political appointees. So there is this deep state of career employees, to be sure, okay? I dealt with them. We all dealt with them in the first term. But it's as important to get political appointees who are fully committed, as you said, to fulfilling the agenda, right?

And that's a lesson learned, I think, from the first administration. So and I think, again, that silver lining, four years of campaigning coming back. There is no doubt. Right. What is I love the clip of Homan Tom Homan with AOC. Right.

on deporting illegal aliens. This is legal. This is the president's agenda. And it's overwhelmingly supported by the American people. So if she's opposing that, then, you know, she's subverting democracy in the will of the people. Let's play right here. Cut 345 just reinforces this idea of the mandate.

This is a Steve Kornacki. Have we tweeted this yet, guys? It's just terrific. Let's play cut 345, please. Trump swept the battlegrounds. But the other big story this week has to do with the popular vote and how Trump pulled that off. Here's one answer. Big blue states with very diverse populations. This new coalition that Donald Trump's assembled. It meant that he didn't win any of these, but he made some giant strides. California, biggest of them all.

29 point Biden win four years ago. Currently only 18 for Harris, her home state. Look at New York. Basically, Trump cutting that Democratic margin in half. Go down this list and look inside those states and you'll see it. Blue collar areas, cities, metro areas with large Hispanic populations. That's where Trump made his big gains there.

11 points better in California. And I have to just say, we've been saying that there's something happening in California. Again, of course, it's still a deep blue state. But that kind of movement is a really big, big thing. Can you just summarize how rare it is for an incoming administration to have this type of mandate? Not a squeaker, but this kind of mandate.

It's rare and it's even rare, right, to have a battle tested president who's been president. Right. You know what he's doing and he's looking for the right people. It is just it's going to be magnificent. I'm so excited. Again, out of bad, out of bad and evil comes good, Charlie. And this is what you're seeing right here. The American people embrace democracy.

the president. He, you know, he, he's battle tested. He's principled and he's hungry to implement this agenda, which the American people support. And there's no more question about that. And we, and he needs the right appointees to help implement that agenda. Are you ready to lose weight, but not sure where to start? I understand. I,

I was right where you are two years ago. Let me tell you why I chose the PhD weight loss and nutrition program. First, Dr. Ashley Lucas has her PhD in chronic disease and sports nutrition. Her program is based on years of research and is science-based. Second, the PhD program starts in nutrition. There is so much more. They know that 90% of permanent change comes from the mind, and they work on eliminating the reason you gain this weight in the first place. There's no shortcuts, pills, or injections, just solid science-based nutrition and behavior change. And finally, a probably most importantly, I lost 30 pounds. Look, they're amazing.

If you want to lose weight, you've got to go to MyPhDWeightLoss.com. I was just texting with Dr. Asher Lucas today. If you're ready to lose weight for the last time, call 864-644-1900. Go online at MyPhDWeightLoss.com. Do what I did and what hundreds of my listeners have done and call today, 864-644-1900. I recommend their program. Dr. Asher Lucas has her PhD in chronic disease.

and sports nutrition. Her program is based on years of research and is science-based. Second, the PhD program starts in nutrition, but it's so much more. Go to myphdweightloss.com, myphdweightloss.com, call 864-644-1900. I lost over 30 pounds. Dr. Asher Lucas, great American. Check it out, myphdweightloss.com.

I want to do two things really quick. How do we stop the weaponization of government? And Mark, also, the president has floated this impoundment act issue. Is it constitutional? Something that I'm curious about. So please, can you navigate those two topics?

Sure. The weaponization, Charlie, awful, right? It was the Biden administration, kind of a long time, you know, sort of in the making with the left. But the Biden people and all of their allies around the country, right? You know, Fannie Willis, Alvin Bragg, just used weapons.

the law to go after President Trump. They perverted the law. They twisted the law. This wasn't the case of somebody doing something wrong and enforcing the law. This was twisting the law to get their political opponent. Absolutely despicable.

The American people, I think that was on the ballot and they rejected that. Here's the thing. The president needs to assert operational control over the Department of Justice. Right. And the FBI. Right. He is the president. There's only one head of the executive branch. That's the president. They all work for him. And so there's been this notion over the since Watergate sort of that somehow the Department of Justice is independent from the president and they get to look at what they want.

And what we see is this deep state, even under President Trump, when they were going after him when he was president, of looking to sort of take out political opponents. And so the president needs to assert, and through his appointees and through his direct action, what the Department of Justice is going to look at, right? You know, what they're not going to look at, things that he's not interested in, he should shut down. You know, and I've written a number of articles on this, kind of the history where President Washington...

Adams, Jefferson, lots and lots of examples. I'm saying prosecute this person. Don't prosecute this person. It's completely in the norm. And the left wants to make it norm breaking. Why? Because they want to break apart the executive branch and make the president weaker. OK, so.

And that includes the FBI. I think you should fire Chris Wray. Obviously, the president's decision. But Chris Wray at the FBI, send a signal. The FBI is out of control. They work for the Department of Justice who works for the president. They need to look at what the president wants them to look at because he's the executive branch. It's just that simple, that constitutional. And there's history for it. Okay.

Moving over sort of to, and I'm happy to talk more about that, but in terms of the empowerment part, that's another law coming out of what I call the Watergate era, the post-Watergate era, which I think were all laws meant to undermine the presidency, to cripple him in the work he does. You had the independent counsel statute, right, in 1978 that literally had federal judges setting up prosecutors to go after the president's appointees and the president had no control over it, right?

And the Supreme Court upheld it, I think, eight to one or seven to one. It was a monstrosity, but it was all meant to weaken the presidency. The Empowerment Control Act is the same thing. It came out of the Watergate era. And it basically says, hey, you know, Mr. President, when we appropriate $100 billion or $100 million for a project, you have to spend every last cent or you are breaking the law. All right. So if you can build a tank,

let's say it's $100 million, you can build a tank for $80 million, that $20 million, if you don't spend it, you are breaking the law. The only way you cannot do it is to actually go back to Congress and say, pass a new law rescinding that money. That's just insanity. It's stupidity. It's

You know, it's opened up the flood of spending over the past many decades. And it cripples the presidency from having agency, from kind of saying, I can run this thing more efficiently. I can do a better job. Or these are programs that are not good, that are unconstitutional. And we sort of...
