It's important to note that when an individual is called before courts across the country, they appear. Why should the attorney general, who is supposed to be head of all law enforcement authorities, any different?

Garland still has time to comply with this request. We are asking that he bring the tapes to the house and let us listen to them. But in the event that he does not, we will press forward with calling the privilege motion on inherent contempt to the floor on Friday morning.

It is also important to note that if we as a Congress do not have the ability to enforce our investigative ability, that we are essentially going to be ignored and undercut and essentially handicapped by all other branches, which would make us not a co-equal branch of government.

That is Congresswoman Ana Paulina Luna, who I am so proud of. She's doing an amazing job turning Point alum and fighting on Capitol Hill. She joins us now. So, Congresswoman, you are leading the charge here. You are forcing a vote on what they call an obscure maneuver to force the sergeant at arms to detain Merrick Garland. Walk us through all the details here. This is amazing. Congresswoman Luna, tell us about it.

Yeah, so this is actually, it's an old parliamentary procedure that was actually written into Jefferson's manual. So we're talking about back in the late 1700s. And I actually found this in reading the rule manual. And what it allows is there's two different types of contempt of Congress. Criminal goes as direct referral to the Department of Justice. And inherent contempt actually authorizes the body itself, the ruling majority, to say,

basically be a punitive arm. I don't think that our founding fathers ever anticipated that there would be two rogue branches of government, but this is supposed to be the check and balance that we need in order to have a fair and free country. So what would happen is the inherent contempt vote likely will be coming to the floor on Friday. And at that point, pending it passes, what it will allow is Speaker Johnson at

at his direction to either call the attorney general to appear before the House of Representatives or it turns the sergeant at arms into essentially an enforcement arm for the speaker to go get the attorney general if need be and force him to compel the evidence. Now, a lot of people have asked, you know, was this possible? In fact, a couple of weeks ago, Newsweek was actually basically saying that it wasn't. And now, as you're seeing, there is constitutional founding for this. The Supreme Court has upheld

held a decision, lastly, in 1927, that would actually allow and actually give Congress under Article I authorities the ability to do this. So it can be done. But I think more importantly, Charlie, for especially the listeners, you know, again, as I said in the press conference, any other person in the country, if you're called before court and you don't appear, they issue a bench warrant. And we are seeing the Attorney General, one, knowingly breaking the law, but also, two, he's running interference for Biden. We also obtained a letter

that Biden's counsel actually had sent to Congress. And what that letter does, Charlie, is it actually stated that Garland asked the president to invoke executive privilege, of which, you know, Charlie, is actually not even valid because they gave a transcript. So what is about the audio that they don't want to hear? So I just love this. I hope the audience takes note of this. We are desperate for action. While Republican attorneys general across the country are silent and cowardly, we have freshman

or I should say fresh woman, Congresswoman from Florida, Ana Paulina Luna, who is coming out and leading the charge. And this is a growing movement. Your tweet says it very simple. The Department of Justice decided not to prosecute Biden. Mayor Garland decided not to turn over the evidence to back the DOJ's decision. Congress holds him in contempt. The DOJ refuses to prosecute Garland. Inherent contempt. Defy subpoenas. Be held accountable. So...

This is a vote that will occur on Friday that will turn the sergeant at arms to have the ability to put Merrick Garland in handcuffs. Is that correct? That is correct. But what I think will likely happen, Charlie, is I think that at that point, once the vote hits the floor, I think that Garland will indeed present himself. Now, I mean, Garland still has...

up until that date on Friday to essentially let us hear the audio recording, stop interfering with our Article 1 authorities, and this can all go away. But in the event that he doesn't, I hold the simple belief that everyone should be held accountable and equally accountable at that, and that is exactly why we're doing what we're doing. And I've actually, you know, been able to make this argument I sent out a dear colleague letter that actually has the Constitution

constitutionality of the case law, all of this. And again, I know that it hasn't been done for almost 100 years. And that's why there's so many questions surrounding this. But Charlie, this actually dates back to even Parliament in England. And so this was actually something that at least in the United States had been done close to 100 times, made it up to the Supreme Court five different times, of which that 1927 McGrane versus Doherty actually upheld our authority to do so.

So everybody, this is amazing and it should absolutely work. I'm reading on how Scott Gove, by the way, the sergeant at arms is they are tasked with the enforcement of safety and security. Members of Congress and a Capitol complex also coordinates extensively with U.S. Capitol police and various intelligence agencies to assess threats against members and the Capitol complex. So there is precedent for the sergeant at arms arresting if there is inherent contempt of that. Correct.

Correct. Correct. The last case I just stated, McGregor v. Doherty, 1927. And so then the process is, is it correct that Merrick Garland, the attorney general of the United States, has been calling members trying to lobby them not to vote for inherent contempt?

Correct. We actually heard that being reported by Chad's program over the weekend. And I'd like to note, though, that most members, this is actually an educational opportunity because a lot of members were unfamiliar that this power existed. And so it's been actually really good for the conference as a whole because we've been able to have those discussions. And as you saw at the

press conference. There's people, you know, from Dan Crenshaw to Derek Van Orden to Mark Alford to Max Miller to Tim Burchett that are supporting this initiative. So it's a good cross-section of the entire conference. That's very promising. It is. And, you know, it's not easy. We have to explain this to every single member, but I think that's part of the

that's part of why my voter sent me here. And what I will say, though, is that we did hear when I was researching this, and I asked many questions also, too, from constitutional scholars once I read it, because I could not realize what I had stumbled upon in the rule manual. But what I did ask was, you know, has this been done before? And to my knowledge, Nancy Pelosi actually was considering doing it

last election cycle. And I believe the reason why they did, or last Congress of the 118th Congress, I believe the reason, or 117th Congress, I believe the reason why they didn't, Charlie, is because the

The second phase of this is that the speaker, once he's charged with inherent contempt, could say, well, look, maybe we don't want to arrest you, but we will actually hold a trial in the House. OK, so Congress will hold a trial and that would actually open him up to discovery. So I believe that Pelosi did not want to do that. She wanted to push the dirty work onto the Department of Justice to go after political opponents or, you know, outsiders.

spoken voices conservatives whatever it might be and because of the fact that they would have been able to make that case to the american people and present that in um a court fashion i believe that's why she just really quick i'm just to do members not read the rules so you're a freshman and you just read the rules how many members actually know the rules or read them so you decided to go into the actual rules and you found this nugget is that correct

Yeah. Yeah, I found this in Jefferson's Manuals, which is considered part of our rule handbook. And I think it's like 1,400 pages, but I read it twice when I was on maternity leave because they told me I could vote. So you're on maternity leave. I have an understanding of this. Ana Paulina Luna on maternity leave. And this was kind of floated by some people. And you find the sergeant at arms here. And this is, you know, we're always asking for our side to fight, to have people to fight.

And we say in my book, Right-Wing Revolution, we actually have more power than we realize. Here, all of a sudden, we have potentially the power to arrest Merrick Garland for defying subpoenas and being held in inherent contempt. You're right. We don't know how this is going to play out. But so the process and what is the call to action here? Do you think we're going to have unanimity amongst the House Republicans here?

I think it's very likely. I think that what is actually going to happen is I think that this will likely get called up on Friday. And I think at that point, the leadership in the House will have to decide if they're going to basically allow that vote to happen right then and there or if they're going to wait until after recess.

But I do think that in my conversations without, you know, divulging the personal conversations because the speaker did ask me to not divulge that as of right now, I just want to let everyone know that we are talking and that the speaker is

definitely perceptive and is aware of this and what it represents. But I do think that the call to action is just ask your members to listen and to be open to it because really in retrospect, Charlie, you know, a lot of people in this country right now understand that there is a two-tier justice system and we have Republicans in jail.

for ignoring subpoenas. And yet the enforcement arm of the Department of Justice... This is so brilliant. This is exactly right. This is why it's so brilliant what Ana's doing. They are about to throw Steve Bannon in federal prison for defying a subpoena. And they say, okay, you put Steve Bannon in federal prison, we send the sergeant at arms, and we go arrest Merrick Garland. Fire with fire. That's the new right. The days of the old Republican Party of rolling over and surrendering and taking a knee...

So, Ana, can you just mention that? So Steve Bannon, they're going to try to throw him in federal prison. I've been very critical of Speaker Johnson, but Speaker Johnson is now at the last hour. And I think he's doing the right thing here and deserves credit is saying that the January 6th committee was not properly constituted and that he's filing an amicus brief in Steve Bannon's favor. What is going on here?

Yeah, so I think, as you know, Speaker Johnson has a very strong legal background, and I think that he absolutely nailed it. You know, everything that the January 6th committee did, as you know, was completely unconstitutionally founded. Not to mention, I think that everything that came out in the reports were the founding reason why we censured Adam Schiff. And so I think that if Johnson can do that, I think that there is the likely possibility that they can throw out Steve Bannon's charges.

Yeah. And then just talk about the politics of this. So let's say the sergeant of arms actually does go and arrest Merrick Garland. Then the process is unclear. Does he then get jailed in the basement of the house? So ultimately, and there's a lot of discussion on, OK, does the house actually have holding facilities or a jail technically? And so the answer to that is typically what was done is they would convert a room as a holding facility.

holding cell, but I mean, even then, so the last individual that was actually charged with inherent contempt was actually put up at a very nice hotel in Washington, D.C., and then the actual court process played out in the House of Representatives, and they basically had a trial for that individual, and so I think what's likely to happen is, again, pending that this passes, I think that Johnson would actually ask the Attorney General to appear, or, you know, best case scenario, Garland does the right thing and lets us hear the tapes prior. So the

The consolidation of Republican support for this has really been promising and remarkable. Do you think that because of the escalating lawfare against Donald Trump, of what we've seen with the Department of Justice, what we've seen with Steve Bannon and Navarro, have you seen an attitude shift amongst some of your more moderate Republican colleagues?

Well, I think so. But I also think that a lot of my colleagues are tired of the fact that it is very apparent that the executive branch and also to that the judiciary branch seems to be undercutting and not treating us like an equal branch of government. And that's really not one how we should operate. But also, too, I mean, what you are seeing is that.

these people are utilizing a system. They are pointing blame to Republicans saying that we're trying to tear this country apart. And ultimately what they have done is really put oil in a well and poison our country using our very institutions against people that are just trying to get by, right? Like how many FBI agents have shown up on doorsteps of Americans that are really not threats instead of investigating known terrorists, right? So I think for these people especially, there's a lot of frustration

but then also to the weaponization. And then there's the aspect of there is constitutional grounds for this. There's Supreme Court ruling, there's a case law. And so I think that the argument that we've presented as a whole, I think everyone knows that if there is another lawsuit, if the court systems get involved again,

What's going to end up happening is they will stall, stall, stall, because we know that Biden has these different bureaucrats working for him. And ultimately what will end up happening is we likely still won't ever get the tapes. And so that's exactly why we've been forced to pursue this other avenue. It doesn't make me happy to do it, but ultimately I do believe that the attorney general is not above or more important than any other American and should be held to the same standards.

If Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro are going to be thrown in federal prison for contempt of Congress and Merrick Garland just gets to walk free, it's time that we reciprocate. Ana Paulina, thank you so much. Thank you.

But we had a mass group of people go to a roundtable, first and foremost, to discuss what's going on at the Washoe County School District. And then we went to the school board meeting. And this school board has to be the most trashiest and ghetto school board in America.

Number one, they have the school board meeting at 2 p.m. I mean, parents can't go to a school board meeting at 2 p.m. in the first place. You know, they're at work. They're trying to earn a living. They're trying to find a way to figure out how to overcome all of this inflation that the Obama-Biden administration has caused intentionally. I digress.

But at 2:00 PM, they have a school board meeting scheduled. And then the room is packed and the room is as large as a trailer. You can only get about 30 people in there. And then the overflow is packed.

And then people are lining up in the hallways because, you know, there were hundreds of people who came out in support of what we're doing alongside TPUSA and the support that Dr. Bob has so generously given towards this campaign.

And so I stand up and read from the book entitled American Psycho that's in three different schools, three different high schools in particular. And the moment I get into the first sentence, the vice chair of the school board begins to gavel me down and says, you know what, that's one strike.

And I keep reading and then the entire board gets up and walks out. The vice chair says that the meeting has been adjourned and the snowflake tyrants walk out of the school board meeting, leaving me at the podium to continue to do whatever I want to do. But they walk out of the school board meeting because they said that the content that I was reading was too vulgar. Too vulgar, Charlie.

But it's okay for the children, but not okay for the school board. Okay, I want to play the tape here. Little trigger warning. If you have kids, don't listen to this. And this is so bad. So this is cut 61. It's a minute and 15 seconds.

You were reading from the actual textbook. Is that right? A book available at Reno, Galeno and Spanish Springs high schools, correct? And that I was reading from their porn. Yes. So this is the brilliance of what Reverend Amantruca was doing.

He goes and reads what is okay for kids to read, but then adults hear it at the school board meeting and they say, we have to end the meeting. So a 13-year-old can read it, internalize it, and study it, but adults, they don't want to hear it. Play cut 61.

This book references vulgarity. It says, Christy is on all fours facing the headboard, her ASS raised high in the air, and I'm straddling her back as if I was riding a dog or something, but backward, my knees resting on the mattress, my ass half hard, and I'm facing Sabrina, who is staring in for more. She's spread open ASS with a determined expression. Her smile seems tortured, and she's wetting her own lips by...

...and tracing her glistening index finger across them like she's applying lip gloss. With both my hands, I keep Christy's ASS and spread open, and I urge Sabrina to move in closer and sniff them, to sniff her rectum.

Hi, we're gonna, we're gonna adjourn folks. I motion for Sabrina to move her face in closer until she can smell my fingers.

What you just saw was a bunch of tyrants leave the school board meeting because they don't want to hear vulgarity in a book. Because I read what kids get to read in three schools. Reverend, again, what you are doing is the Lord's work. You are shining a light on what they say is perfectly fine for 14-year-olds. But when you do it at a school board meeting, they have you expelled. Tell us about it.

The hypocrisy of it all, Charlie, is what we have to key in on. These people are demonic. They can care less about your children. I've been trying to tell people around this country, I've now been to 14 states, we've been able to collectively alongside TPUSA and others amass over 300 million views. We've been able to flip two school boards, one in Pennsylvania and one in New Jersey. We were able to strike down a transgender policy in New Jersey, policy 5756.

We defeated the devil in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County. There was a person there that was trying to ban the Bible in the public school system, a Satanist to be exact. And on the day that I showed up to confront him, the coward Satanist didn't even show up. So the devil lost again.

We've been able to remove dozens of pornographic books from around the country and the work still presses on and we're going to 12 more states this year. Keep in mind, this book, American Psycho,

has led to gross massacres in this world. A copy was found in possession of Wade Francom, perpetrator of the 1991 Strathfield massacre in Sydney, Australia. Because of that, you have to be 18 years old to purchase this book in Australia. All right? During the trial of Canadian serial killer Paul Bernardo, a copy was discovered in Bernardo's bedroom.

And then during the Duke lacrosse case, a team member named Ryan McFadden sent a profane email to several of his teammates alleging he was going to kill and skin some strippers. The administrators asserted the email was an imitation of Bateman, one of the characters in this book. This book has led to people losing their lives.

Why are we putting this in public school systems around this country? It's not only in Nevada, it's everywhere. Why are they pushing this filth upon children that not only indoctrinates them, I call it mental rape because it assaults the soul, it stains the brain, and it robs kids of their innocence. This is intentional. And so we need to put the right people in office, men like President Trump, who wants to bring back the 10 commandments.

We need that. We need God's word to be plastered on the walls of our schools in this nation. And just think about it. In this country, from 1962 when prayer was removed up to 2024, we have gone from prayer

to porn, from prayer to trannies gallivanting around our school boards and in our classrooms. We've gone from prayer to critical race theory and intentional race baiting tactics, labeling whites as inherently racist and blacks as proverbial victims. We've gone from prayer to now calling math racist. We're losing our minds. But

There is hope because the Lord has given me the grace to speak truth to power. I have a supportive team alongside Turning Point USA. Hats off to you, Charlie. You don't get the commendations that you deserve for being a beacon for hope.

OK, it's OK for me to for you to read this to your children, but I can't read it here among the adults. Now, excuse me if I told that story before, but it bears repeating. I mean, it's not a story. I saw it. Again, one reason I like to watch things like that is because, OK, now I'm getting stuff firsthand. I'm not getting a New York Times report of what happened at the school board meeting. I'm seeing it.

This is what's important. We want to defeat the Marxists. We must show, not tell. Please. Yes, show, not tell. Acts 18, verse 10. And I read this scripture yesterday to a group of pastors and local citizens who were concerned about Washoe County School District. It says, For I am with thee, and no man shall attack you or hurt you, for I have much people in this city. Listen, American patriots. The Lord is with us.

Truth is on our side, but we can't be afraid to speak it. It's now or never. It's either we win back the White House, it's either we win back the Oval Office, or we watch America continue to burn. What are you going to do? Stand boldly, stand strong, and whatever you do, don't claim to be a Christian and vote for Democrats. As a proud conservative, I've always put democracy and our Constitution above all else. Second of all, he looks terrible. I don't know what he's doing, what regimen he's on. He looks awful. Look at that. Joe Biden is not aging well. He's on the Joe Biden treatment. Let's play Cut 65. Donald Trump poses a direct threat to every fundamental American value. He doesn't care about our country. He doesn't care about you. He only cares about himself. And he'll hurt anyone or anything in pursuit of power. We saw that when he tried to overturn an election that he knew he lost in 2020. He attacked the foundation of this nation.

encouraging a violent mob of his supporters to march on the Capitol to prevent the peaceful transition of power. Now he's become even more dangerous. He's called for termination of the Constitution. He wants to be a dictator on day one. He actually said that. And he's continuing to stoke the flames of political violence. There's too much at stake to sit on the sidelines.

So to every American of every political party and those of none, I say now is not the time to watch quietly as Donald Trump threatens the future of America. Now's the time to unite behind Joe Biden and show Donald Trump off the stage once and for all. People like him that call themselves conservatives and endorse Joe Biden are a greater threat to the country than Democrats.
