So yeah, just to introduce myself, I live in Georgia, the country. And pretty much the situation here isn't great at the moment.

So pretty much what the government did was they said that they would delay EU accession talks until 2028.

And the European Union is also pushing back against the government's decision against that. And also because the government passed a few controversial laws in the past year, such as the law on family values, which pretty much tries to get rid of LGBT propaganda in schools. And then another law, which is

a law on foreign transparency, which is to address foreign funding. It's kind of similar to FARA, the U.S. law. So I'm just wondering...

And yeah, pretty much what happened was the current U S embassy completely stopped any relations with Georgia and the EU is threatening Georgia. So at the moment, Georgia and citizens can go to the EU visa free and they're threatening to end that too. So I'm just wondering what the current, the new Trump administration can do to help the situation out and yeah, what the future could look like. Well,

Well, I can't speak to what the Trump administration will do, but let me understand this. First of all, it's amazing that you're calling in from the country of Georgia. One of our team members didn't know that Georgia was a country. And so she will be reeducated. But of course, it's just amazing. So that for people that don't know, yes, Georgia is very much a country and it borders Armenia and Turkey. It's in that neck of the woods. And so, so let me ask you, Lucas, um,

Just to clarify, so you're saying that basically all a lot of U.S. diplomacy is being cut off because you guys passed a law to prevent LGBT propaganda. Is that right? Amongst other things, educate us.

I'm fascinated to learn about other countries. Yeah, so the two laws that were passed, the first one is one that concerns family values. So it bans LGBT propaganda in schools and other public sectors. And then the second law is the law on foreign transparency.

which essentially addresses foreign funding to NGOs. So any NGO here that receives over 20% of their funds from foreign countries must register as an agent and disclose their funds to the government. So those are the two laws in question. And the EU wants us to deal with those laws. Yeah. Well, first of all, you speak phenomenal English. Were you raised in Georgia? I mean, are you?

Yeah, I was raised in Georgia, but I went to British school here. You speak great English. Blake, do you have a thought on all this? Blake is our expert Georgian here. Yeah, so I guess I don't have –

I'm not an expert on what's specifically going on in Georgia, but what I will say is you can look at the headlines and you can see outlines very similar to attacks we've seen on the government of Hungary. It's very similar to the articles they were writing when Ukraine had the original color revolution back in 2014, where they'll say the government is attacking democracy, and then you dig into the details and it's stuff like...

well, the government is promoting traditional families and opposing LGBT stuff. Okay, that's not democracy. That's just left-wing political stuff. And so I think...

What you'd see here if you dig into it is they're basically just saying if the government isn't as fanatically anti-Russia as we are, then they're not a democracy. If the government doesn't promote socially liberal stuff that we want, they're not a democracy. If they don't join the European Union and allow all of our big NGOs to do whatever they want, that's anti-democracy. And so I would certainly raise an eyebrow at all of that.

And what I think is, as Charlie says, we don't know exactly what the Trump administration will do, but I do think Trump's general anti-intervention impulses would mean he will hopefully have a State Department that's less likely to try and tip the scales over what a country should be doing about its family policy and the like. And...

So I think we'll have a much better State Department under Trump than we've had under Biden or as we had under Obama back in the day. Very good. All right. Thank you. Appreciate it, Lucas. Hi, Charlie. First, you are so inspiring. I've been following you for years and I'm just blown away. Thank you. Yeah. With the holidays, my question is on religion. I was curious about how and when you began celebrating Shabbat.

as my husband and I have been too. Are you also following the festivals? And I think you mentioned your book might be on this topic. That is right. So when did I start doing it? So yes, my next book, unless there's something else that comes across, is going to be Stop in the Name of God. It is all about the Shabbat. And I believe that we are...

are called to honor and be anchored to the Sabbath. Are you Jewish or are you Christian? Or are you Seventh-day Adventist? Actually, so I grew up Jewish and then my husband was Catholic. And we just recently learned, we've been watching The Chosen and we've been on this journey. And I think that there's some actual awakening going on because we've actually realized and learned that there

there is actually a history where the apostles originally you know these two religions were joined and you know just the whole history we have been reading on and so we have gone back to celebrating um shabbat as well as the the hebrew festivals um karmic is coming up and

and are no longer celebrating Christmas, but we've just been doing a lot of reading and the Hebrew roots topic has been very interesting to us and inspiring.

So, yeah, I'm just fascinated by this. Again, I'm a big fan of the Shabbat. Less about the biblical rigidity of it. I'm going to get into that in the book. But more about what it can mean for a country and a civilization that is drowning in modernity to disconnect and literally cease all work and all activity. Your specific question is, do I follow other Jewish festivals such as Sukkot or Shavuot?

or yom kippur or rosh hashanah um i think i'm missing a couple there but those are the main ones uh no and and the main reason being is obviously as a christian we we do not feel bound to the specific jewish uh festivals however the shabbat is very different it is in the ten commandments um

And the Shabbat is by far the most repeated law in the Torah, repeated of remember the Sabbath, remember the Sabbath, punishable by death, by the way, if you desecrated the Sabbath publicly. And the Shabbat, unlike Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, Shavuot, or Sukkot, is a celebration of Genesis 1-1, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, or otherwise known as Bereshit. And the Shabbat is...

um fundamentally is not just about the atonement for sins it can be about that it is a habit and it is about rest and it is the longest standing cathedral in time and it is uh it is building it is building the practice that we're going to give time to god not just give um

Where do you stand or where does this fight actually stand? Because in New York, they passed a bill that allows boys in women's sports. Is this my man, Anthony M.? Is that who I'm talking to? Yes.

Yes, it is. This guy's great. He has been one of our first members. It's been a while since we've chatted, Anthony. I know. Been missing you. Blake, what is the status of the legislation right now and the lawsuits when it comes? There's so much action going on in the trans issue. Blake, what's the latest here? I mean, there's a lot going on. The Supreme Court case is obviously what's getting a lot of the attention because you have

About there's like 25 states that have passed laws. Only some of those have come into effect. A lot of them are currently, you know, they're being held back by the courts. They pause them pending the Supreme Court case yesterday. Everyone's trying to read the tea leaves about what the Supreme Court thought on that specific bill, which is.

You know, they're getting into very funny things like John Roberts called the transgender council from the ACLU. Mr. Does that mean he's leaning against us because he used their preferred pronouns? The people I've been talking to seem pretty confident we will win this case, hopefully six to three on the normal conservative liberal split. If we get that, that it'll actually matter a lot how they rule on it, because they're

They could say they're getting – we discussed this yesterday where they were arguing that, oh, it's sex-based discrimination to say that you can't mutilate kids because, oh, this girl can take estrogen, but this boy can't. That's sex discrimination. It would be interesting how the court rules because they could say this is just not sex discrimination or they could say it is sex discrimination, but it's okay. It passes a threshold of scrutiny to allow that.

And what my friends pointed out is it might be better if we got that second ruling because that would pave the way to have more court rulings and more laws that acknowledge men and women are different and the law can affect them in different ways. It's okay to say.

The military is presumptively for men. The draft is presumptively for men. You're allowed to do that. And so it would be it'll depend a lot how the court structures that. And that will shape everything else that happens in terms of sports, in terms of protecting kids, in terms of child custody. So we're all kind of waiting and holding our breath on how they'll frame that.

Okay, so let me just piggyback off. Thank you, Anthony. Yeah, really quick. Really quick, Anthony. Would that affect the New York law that got passed on November 5th? My guess is no. I don't think we're likely to get a Supreme Court ruling that would go all the way and say it's not allowed to do this stuff. I don't think that's on the table right now. So blue states will probably be able to do their thing for the foreseeable future. Go figure. Go figure. Appreciate it, guys.

Thank you, Anthony. Hey, Blake, we have a question here. This is from Darren, who's a member. What is going on in Syria is the question. By the way, we have weird stuff happening in Syria, in South Korea. It's like there's a lot of these kind of pocket coups, resistance. We'll get to South Korea another time. Syria, what is going on here, Blake?

Yeah, that's that's a wild one, because much like some other, you know, actually much like the the Gaza conflict last year, it was something that no one was quite watching. That war has been basically in stasis since ISIS was defeated under Trump. That's about six years ago now.

And so you have these different rebel groups, but no one was making a lot of aggressive action. There's a rebel group. I'm drawing a blank on their name, but they're kind of a successor rebel group to some other organizations called

And it just seems like they waited. Iran has been distracted and weakened by this war, by this conflict with Israel. Hezbollah was allied with the Assad government in Syria. They just got wrecked very badly by Israel. Russia is very distracted by their war in Ukraine. So all the different forces that were basically supporting the Assad government in Syria have been weakened and they've pulled back. And it just seems like some rebel group saw this and said,

Okay, let's go for it. And so they launched a big offensive. There's a large city in northern Syria named Aleppo. Famously, Gary Johnson didn't know what it was. They seem to have captured... What is Aleppo? What is Aleppo? They seem to have captured quite a bit of Aleppo.

there was initially some signs the government might collapse basically immediately. That doesn't quite seem to have happened, but suddenly the war is going on in earnest again. And what's really interesting is you can see a divide. There are some people who clearly are pro these specific rebel groups, and there are some that dislike them. It's a big fractious war, and I think

It's worth taking a step back and saying. Well, here's what I will say, though. We're out of time. Is that the Rebels are not good people. They're not. Asah is not a good person. No one is great. They're not virtuous. Do not cheer for the Rebels. That's the takeaway. George, thank you for being a member. What's on your mind?

Hello. First of all, I just want to say thank you for everything you've done. You know, me and my parents have often talked about everything that you do, watch your videos. So first of all, I just want to say thank you. Thank you. I've been thinking about starting a chapter in my school where I go to university in Connecticut. And, you know, thinking about that, my question for you is...

What sort of precedent does the Hunter Biden pardon set for America, especially after what we've seen with the weaponization of the Department of Justice against Trump and especially the weaponization in South Korea when the president called for martial law? What sort of mark does this leave?

you know, this weaponization of our political systems? What mark does it leave for America and for the world? It's a great question. Blake, actually, it's a good opportunity. Blake, educate us on South Korea and then let's answer the question. So we're getting the whole world. We're getting Georgia. I mean,

We're getting Syria. We're getting South Korea. South Korea is definitely an example of where America could go if things get worse. South Korea is a democracy, but it's a very fraught democracy. The other night I was looking at their list of presidents that they've had, and it's like overthrown, overthrown, assassinated, military coup, imprisoned for 22 years, investigated for corruption and committed suicide. It's wild how all of their presidents... Why is that, though? Why? I mean, they're...

Korean society is very intense. Their political divisions are very sharp. One thing that's crazy, if you check some Korean elections, our most extreme states will be 70% Republican, 70% Democrat. You'll have elections in Korea where one place will be voting 95% for one party and another will vote 95% for the other. And it's not ethnically based. They're all Korean. It's very peculiar culture.

But it's a country that has a lot of, yeah, aggressive lawfare. Most of their presidents end up getting prosecuted after they're in office. And what I think we're seeing here is we're seeing –

We're seeing the Democrats embrace both halves of that, which is they did unprecedented lawfare against Trump. They tried to knock him off the ballot. They tried to throw him in prison before this election. And now what they're also doing is they're saying we can use the pardon power to just totally get all of our crimes off the hook. So he...

This pardon on Hunter Biden, you really can – it's hard to overstate how nuts it is because he didn't just say – he says in his statement, I think this specific prosecution went too far and wouldn't have happened if he wasn't the son of a president, which setting things aside, if you're doing crimes as the son of the president, it does seem a little bit worse than it would be otherwise.

But anyway, he doesn't just pardon him for those. He just says, blanket pardon any criminal activity ever committed in an entire 10-year period from 2014 to now, which means it covers all the Ukraine stuff. It covers...

All manner of reckless and potentially corrupt behavior. And they're also talking about they might pardon other people in the Biden administration to forestall any investigation of them by Trump. There's been reporting on this that they might give one to Adam Schiff, to other people, Anthony Fauci.

And so, again, you're seeing that everything the Democrats claim will be a bad thing Trump will do, they do themselves. So they massively weaponize the Justice Department, and then they also use the pardon power to just blanketly get people off for a huge array of crimes.

And there really is no precedent for this. People will say Trump pardoned Jared Kushner's father, but Jared Kushner's father had served his sentence. And so this was just, you know, it was honoring him. It was giving him a prize for not reoffending, for reintegrating into society. But he had been convicted. He served his time. And Trump only pardoned him for that offense. This is much further. And it is definitely an ugly precedent if we see this become true.

The norm of just every side has to pardon all of its people every time to keep them from getting prosecuted by the people who come after them. And, you know, a bunch of pardons might be better than everyone getting prosecuted all of the time. But it's definitely a decline in the American Republic from what we had before, because ultimately what a, you know, Democratic Republican system of government operates on is you use elections to solve your disputes and.

You let the people decide what policies will be. You don't just you know, you don't just endlessly try to destroy each other through every means necessary because that's the path to civil war and worse. Very good. I would agree that the the precedent it does set, though, is that it gives Donald Trump an uninterrupted, a clear shot to do January 6th pardons like no one can complain. What it does is that there will be no.

legitimate media cycle hit and with it momentum hit for any pardons that Trump does out of the gate? Great question. Thank you for being a member. don't feel like most of the claims made about it as a technology have made a ton of sense to me. It does essentially seem to be... What do you mean by that, Blake? Well, so it starts off where they'll say, oh, it'll be this alternative currency to the US dollar or it'll be a store of value. Well, it's not a super great store of value because it fluctuates so dramatically. A huge amount of crypto stuff

you know, basically ends up a lot of them end up being pump and dump scams. You have the whole NFT thing where it's, Oh, you own the digital rights to this image, except anyone can just copy it. And you don't, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. It, it,

What I feel crypto embodies is it captures the widespread desire of people to endlessly speculate on things and frankly gamble on things. I think most the vast majority of crypto investing is fundamentally a form of gambling. If you think that's immoral, it may be you would want to stay away from it.

I think if you fully understand what it is, it's not necessarily a bad thing because you have to recognize it's very risky. There's all these people pushing pump and dump scams. There's a million coins. Just today, that Hawk Tua woman, someone is claiming that she lost her life savings investing in her silly coin. Like that's bad. You should not scam people and you should be aware a lot of these things are scams.

That said, I don't want to ever say someone should categorically stay away from it because there are people who've made enormous amounts of money off of it. It has definitely carved out a niche as it is a way for people to have some autonomy and independence from overreaching governments, overreaching regimes.

So I don't want to say it's anti-Christian. I've seen some people claim Bitcoin might be something from biblical revelation. It's like a mark. I think I once saw people claim it was the mark of the beast. I don't think it's any of those things. I think it is a risky asset. You can speculate on it the way you might speculate on the Russian ruble or the British pound, but you should know what you're getting into and you should be aware a lot of it is a scam. But

Some of it does well. Some of it goes up. That's all. I think the technology is really interesting. I think blockchain could be used, you know, applicably in other ways.
