Key Insights

Why should managers encourage their employees to vote?

Employers have significant influence on how employees view voting. Encouraging employees to vote can impact business and way of life, making it a crucial aspect of civic engagement.

What is the ethical way to approach IVF from a Christian perspective?

Ethical IVF involves implanting only as many embryos as one is comfortable having, respecting the belief that each embryo is a life. Over-creating embryos and discarding extras is ethically problematic.

What could Democrats potentially do if they refuse to certify a Trump victory?

Democrats could potentially use their control in some states to challenge close results, alleging illegitimacy and preventing certification, mirroring tactics used in 2020.

Why is high voter turnout crucial for the current election?

High turnout favors the Republican party, as Democrats tend to have lower turnout. Encouraging high participation can swing the election in favor of conservative values.

What should a 16-year-old consider before joining the military?

Consider the political climate, potential for woke policies, and personal career goals. The military offers many benefits but may face challenges under a Democrat administration.

How can high schoolers contribute to the election effort?

High schoolers can boost turnout by reminding friends and family to vote, using platforms like the Turning Point Action app, and getting involved with local Republican Party activities.

What is the Johnson Amendment and why is it significant for churches?

The Johnson Amendment restricts political speech from the pulpit. Removing it would allow churches to speak more freely on political issues, aligning with biblical teachings without government interference.

Where can one find accurate fact-checking resources?

There is no single reliable source for fact-checking. Being media literate and following trusted individuals on platforms like X or Telegram can help navigate through misinformation.

We'll have millions of people watching.

Okay, the first question is Jeff, and Blake is also co-piloting. Say hi, Blake. Blake is our Roman history aficionado. Blake, I don't know if we have time to do Hillsdale this week. We might have to do that next week. It's going to be all election-focused. I hear you, Charlie. Although, I do want to shout out, I got my first piece of fan mail the other day because of the Hillsdale quiz.

So I just wanted to show my appreciation for Adrienne Patuara of Eugene, Oregon. She sent me a bag of trail mix. You can put it on camera. I think I know her. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And so Bohemia Mountain Goods Company, if you guys look it up on Public Square, you can check it out. I wanted to shout her out because I appreciated her letter very much. Well, Blake, congrats. And, you know, just for the record, Andrew has never gotten fan mail.

Just so we're clear. He's never done that. I'm sure that's not true. He just wrote that in the chat. He just wrote that in the chat. Oh, a few hateful emails. Hateful emails are fan mail too. They're hate fans.

Jeff is the first question. Jeff, thank you for being a member. What is on your mind and have you voted? Hey, Charlie. Yes, I have voted already, and I'm very proud to say I got my children also to vote, and it's their first time to vote, so it's great. I wanted to let you know I'm a software development manager. I have about 20 people or so on my team.

And I'm looking for good, compelling statements I can give to them when encouraging them to vote. And one of my ideas is I'm planning on giving them a half day off on Tuesday, next Tuesday, if they pledge to take the time to go vote. That's great. I love that. And I know them well, and I'm certain they're going to vote Republican. So I think that's why I'm safe in doing that. But anyway –

What other guidance can you give to managers and supervisors in this country to encourage and compel their employees to vote? So can I ask you, what state are you in and what industry are you in? I am in IT, in the insurance industry, and I am in the great state of Texas. Texas matters a lot right now. That is, I'm telling you, if...

We have plans, just so you know, to expand Turning Point Action as a base of operation in Texas and Nevada beyond the cycle, because I'm afraid that they're going to make big gains in Texas and we've got to do work there. Okay, so it's a great question, Jeff. Let me answer it as succinctly as I can. There are groups of people that have outsized influence in how people view voting. The top three, the number one will be friends and family, obviously, right? Spouse, brother, whatever.

The second is employer. And the third is religious official. So if employers...

have a lot of sway over how their employees vote, especially if you demonstrate it in this is how it impacts our business, how it impacts our way of life. And so my advice to managers and supervisors, you should be unafraid to speak from a perspective of strictly business. Here is how our business would be impacted by this election. Here is how our business would be impacted.

That would be my that would be my advice. My advice would be to explain the ramifications and be be unafraid to lean into that. So. All right. Thank you, Jeff, for being a member. And I think Ted Cruz is going to be OK. Thank you. Appreciate it. Great. Thank you. All right. Next question, Nathan. Nathan, what is on your mind? Hey, Charlie, what do you think about the idea of allowing all day care costs to be tax deductible?

Right now, there's a credit system, which I'm not sure if you're aware of, which allows a maximum credit of 35% for 6,000 or up to 6,000 for two children, which is a credit of $2,100, but decreases to 20% above $43,000, which is a credit of $1,200. As an example, I live in Westchester, New York, and have two daughters and pay $36,000 annually for child care.

which is actually the mean in this area in New York, not high. If it were tax deductible, I would save around $11,000. I think that would be a pretty good benefit for people that have kids.

I think it's a great idea. I see almost nothing wrong with it. And to be perfectly honest, I think that we need to incentivize more people to have children and have daycare costs be made easier. And we do have the child tax credit. Blake, do you have a thought on this? Because we do have the child tax credit, but we need to make it even more accessible, right? Yeah, I mean, it's...

It's so dumb that J.D. Vance, of course, got trashed for this because everything he said on that program a few years ago was basically true, which is in America we have a problem that we want our – we want people – we want our society to be able to reproduce itself. And you do that by making it so healthy, functional, married, working people can find it easy to have children. And so –

I feel like, you know, we could maybe go really aggressive on this. We could say... I think in Hungary they tried, like, you know, if you have four... Like, if you're a married family with four kids, you pay, like, almost zero taxes or something. Like, maybe we can't go that extreme, but...

Like, I think we almost have a poverty of ambition on this front. I think we have to look around and we can say our big problem is that Americans aren't having as many kids as they want to have. We're not having as many kids as we actually need to have to secure the future of the country. And we should make it.

hugely beneficial in tax terms to have children. And if that means like single guys like me who don't have kids right now have to be taxed, you know, to the hilt, maybe that's just how it's got to be. Maybe that's actually the trade-off we need to make. Maybe that's not a winning message because we have more and more people without kids, people who are unmarried, but that's what I think would make sense for the good of the country. Blake, I agree. Okay. Thank you guys. So thank you so much. And it's a great question, Nathan. Really appreciate it. Thank you.

Okay, MJ. MJ, thank you for being a member. MJ, what is on your mind? And again, if you guys want to ask me questions and join the club and you get a nice red hat in return and be part of this incredible movement, it's members.charliekirk.com. Member, MJ, what's on your mind?

Hey, Charlie. Thanks for having this. So I just have a question, you know, post-election, you know, if Trump ends up winning and Democrats don't, you know, accept the results and therefore don't certify them, you know, what's next? What would our plan be? You know, what should we look to do? Yeah. So I don't even want to talk about that because I don't.

quite want to even get into that circumstance. Blake, what is the certification? What could the Democrats do at the worst case here, Blake, when it comes to certification? Well, I suppose the most extreme case is in some of these states they have left wing control. So stuff that they said was, you know, treason or insurrection when Republicans talked about doing it in 2020 is stuff that could be on the table for them. So let's say I think Democrats control

every part of the Michigan legislature right now or Pennsylvania. One of the two, I think they took it in 22. So I could imagine a case where, let's say, Michigan comes down to a very close race, maybe a few hundred votes either way. We already have a case of someone getting caught illegally voting in Michigan. A Chinese student just voted illegally. They're prosecuting him, actually. But so you already have...

The ingredients where they could say, oh, this was illegitimate. There was something wrong with it. And they could go and say, actually, you know, Trump had a point. We're going to, you know, convene the legislature and we're going to revoke the certification or prevent certification.

So.

So all of that is possible. Do I think it'll happen on balance? I don't think it's super likely, but you have to be ready for it. You have to remember a lot of liberals are just you can see this with all the Hitler stuff. They're getting really unglued again at the prospect of Trump being president.

And when people are hysterical, when they're worked up, when they're panicking, that is when you see them start mentally justifying and laying the groundwork for radical stuff that even they themselves would not have done before. When people are paranoid and freaking out, they do radical things. And it could be stuff like, yeah, withdraw the certification. Excellent. MJ, thanks for the question. Blake, thank you for your help there.

I just want to see right here, Blake, before we get to the next question here,

New battleground state poll, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina. Kamala Harris wins with high propensity voters, gets crushed with low propensity voters. What does that mean, Blake? It means we win if there is high turnout, Charlie. And if we have low turnout, if we have laggardly turnout, if people think, oh, Trump's got it in the bag, he did the trash rally, he's taken out the trash, I don't need to go vote, I can go to a

basketball game or something it means if you do that we'll lose but if we turn out we'll win and that's why you're suddenly seeing the stories it's so different charlie when we have viral videos of those uh like democrat uh voter protection people in pennsylvania

You know, I've been around for a while and scandals like that in the past used to be kind of, you know, Republican operatives who would sometimes get in trouble for that. And it was because, well, in the past, Republicans kind of tended to be more wary of high turnout. But now we're the high turnout party. Democrats are the low turnout party. And so you're seeing the roles reverse in an interesting way. So be high turnout and we win.

Love it. Okay, let's get to the next question here. I completely agree with that. You guys have got to find new voters. Jessica, thank you for being a member. Members.CharlieKirk.com. Jessica, what's on your mind? Hi, Charlie. Thanks so much for answering my question. I just want to say real quick, I'm in North Carolina and we're doing what we can to get as many of our friends out there to vote. I'm here right now too. That's right. Awesome. So my question is, I know that Trump wants to have insurance companies cover IVF.

The question I have is, as a Christian, how do you view IVF? Do you think it can be done in a Christian pro-life way? And how is that? My husband and I have been trying to conceive since we were married for more than five years. And our doctors are kind of saying that our only option left is to go that IVF route. And we've prayed on it, and we're really still not sure what the right path is.

choices there? Yeah, it's a really great question. And that's super sad. And so, yes, so there is a, the only way in a, I'm going to say this, and I want you to double check this with a pastor or a spiritual guider in your life, because this is just Charlie Kirk off the cuff.

The way IVF is traditionally done, let me put it this way, our family would never do it because it is implied that you create many lives and many will not live. Okay. So, for example, you fertilize six eggs, you implant them and four or five will not make it.

The only way that IVF could potentially be ethically okay is if you only implant as many eggs as you are comfortable having children, if that makes sense. Now, there is a moral argument for me. Again, I'm not talking about politically. Politically, it should remain legal. People want it. And I'm just talking about personally morally right now, if that makes sense.

that personally, morally, let's say that if you are comfortable having twins, then you could potentially implant two embryos that are fertilized, right? And so the issue is that they over-create them, or you could do one embryo at a time or as many embryos at a time. The problem is it gets very expensive then.

because you have to pay for the procedure to implant up against the uterine wall every time where an IVF doctor will roll his eyes, be like, well, what's the big deal? Well, you and I believe that every one of those embryos is a life, right? So every one of those embryos we believe actually is a formed life. And so I will say this though, if you can find an ethical way to do it,

Within the Christian worldview that I'm assuming that you have, I think it's something worth entertaining. But I hesitate at times to just say from a Christian perspective, it's nothing but great from our own personal moral perspective.

Again, not from a political or a policy perspective, because it is implied that you overcreate. So if you make 12 eggs, for example, and if you succeed on the second, there's just 10 extras that are frozen into a freezer. But we love life and we love families. And I totally understand. I reserve no...

judgment or condemnation for people that go through in vitro fertilization at all. So we have to find a way through the issue. But again, what I'm talking about is just what I think personally how we would navigate it, not from a policy perspective. I hope that's helpful. Yeah, that's what I was hoping to hear from your

from your Christian perspective. I really appreciate that. Great. So I would definitely entertain that. And Jessica, Daisy, if you can connect us, I'm going to send you a couple journal articles on that, that I think would be really interesting. So thank you. Thank you. I really appreciate that. Thank you. I know many people that are IVF babies and they're, they're, they're beautiful people and they do a great work. So it's not something that should be dismissed. It could do a lot of good for the world. We were just days out from judgment day, everybody days out from judgment day, five days, Blake,

You've been through a lot of elections. I just want your take here. A lot. I mean, Blake has really seen a lot. This is unlike anything we've ever seen. Just talk about the unique nature of this election.

It will go down in the history book. I'd say the biggest thing about it that makes it so much – with 2016, what made it so special was just how implausible it was. It was – you thought – you had to be a really true believer to think you could pull it off. You had university professors saying they'd eat bugs if Trump won. But what we have this time is the greatest comeback story ever. We have –

He was not just knocked out of office, but they deleted him from the internet. It truly was a

A total takedown. And since then, they've thrown four indictments at him. They've tried to shut down his businesses. They've sued him into oblivion. They've done every possible thing to stop him. And the comeback has turned out to be unstoppable. Every single thing that they threw at him to weaken him made him stronger. They put him in a jail cell. They made a mugshot. And it just became the most viral image of all time. They shot at him. They tried to shoot at him again.

All of this. And it's just they've been unable to stop the momentum. And we have the chance to bring it to this absolutely thundering climax on Tuesday if we get the job done, if we chase and we do the work. OK, Harrison is a member. Harrison, what is on your mind? Hey, Charlie, how's it going? So I I served in the Marine Corps reserves. And when the Biden vaccine mandate came out,

I and quite a few of my fellow reservists refused it. The problem that we're going through now, and we're affected a little bit differently than active duty, is the baseline requirement for us to get all the benefits we work for. So I worked five of the six years of my contract. Since I didn't complete that last year because they wouldn't let me, they kicked me out for refusing an experimental vaccine. The approved one wasn't even available in the first place.

My question is really, what can Trump advance? There's never been a more pro-military president than President Trump. Everybody I know from that community has voted for him already, if not about to. I'm trying to get him there. But what can they do to kind of correct?

correct what the Biden administration has done to us? Yeah, that's a great question. So President Trump made an announcement the other day saying that he will reinstitute all back pay for people that were discharged from our military, that we're not complying with this ridiculous vaccine order. So that's number one. Number two, kind of going into detail, you guys also might get your jobs back.

which I think is great. President Trump will look at doing that. So it's just so immoral, Harrison. And just to reiterate, they kicked you out because you wouldn't take the vaccine. This is one of the great injustices, everybody, of these last couple of days. President Trump never would have done that. And he will heal and remedy that situation. Harrison, thank you for being a member. God bless you. Thank you.

Justice is the aim.

Justice, what is your question? So my question is, I'm 16 right now and I'm wanting to join the army when I turn 18. But my question is, would you, when I do turn 18, do you think it's a good idea to join the army? Blake, I want your thoughts on this. I struggle and I hate to say it, guys. Justice, by the way, justice, justice, justice. We shall, you shall pursue as it says in the scriptures. One of my favorite.

Blake, is it am I wrong to say this, Blake, that I think you should determine whether or not to enter the military based on whether or not Trump wins? Is that a fair statement or am I over politicizing things? So I think a lot goes into this. And I think.

I think it's definitely a factor. I wouldn't say categorically write it off if Trump is not. I think it would definitely influence maybe what your long term plan is. Are you looking at it? I guess. Could I ask you, Justice, are you looking at it as a long term career thing or do you just want to serve and then after that use the GI Bill? Do you have any thoughts on that?

Well, more it's, I'm more looking at it as like a career thing. I'm going in there because, you know, it's something I can do with my life that's helpful to the country and that sort of stuff, so.

Yeah, Charlie, I would never want to just write off the military because I think it's one of it is one of the great institutions we still have, despite damage done to it. It is an institution that we know. I totally agree. That's why I struggle with it. It's a great way to get ahead in life. We have so many things in our country that, for lack of a better term, are like rigged in favor of veterans. You get a lot of preferential hiring from veterans.

the government, you get free college tuition, which helps a lot with that all being a scam. You basically get taught useful technical skills

at public expense. So you don't have to go out of your way to learn them. You can get a security clearance. You can get a pension if you're in there long term. You know, maybe those will get damaged later, but I suspect veteran pensions will be one of the last things to get taken away in America. So there's so many good advantages to being a veteran in the U.S. I would never want to say don't do that just because there is a Democrat president, because the real truth is

If you're in the military for 20 years, there will probably be a Democrat president in that span. We have political power goes back and forth in this country. So if you feel called to do that, if you think that is a good direction to take your life, I think it offers a lot of opportunity. And I wouldn't say nix it simply because there is going to be a Democrat in charge because there's

That'll be a problem no matter what you do. If you go to a university, well, that's going to be run by a bunch of liberals, except for a tiny number of exceptions. If you go into the corporate world, there's a lot of woke corporate nonsense. So I would say, you know, have an open mind. Maybe if it is really bad, have a backup plan. But the military is a great step in your life. And I think it's no surprise that so many, you know, J.D. Vance, he went into the military and that is was the first step towards him now possibly becoming vice president of the United States.

Well said, Blake. Justice, make the decision that is best for you. But if President Trump is not president, you'd have to deal with woke DEI, you know, gay poems on battleships and possibly fighting a no win war. So, Justice, thank you so much. OK, next is Jonathan. Jonathan, thank you for being a member. What's on your mind?

Hey, Charlie. Hey, Blake. Great talking to you guys. I love you. I've been watching you all for a long time. My question is, what can I do as a high schooler in these last few days to help us win? I love that. What state are you in? I'm in the great state of Texas. Texas. All right. Well, that's great. Go and download the Turning Point Action app and or get involved with your local Republican Party and get as many other people to vote, even though yourself. Can you vote yet? Are you old enough to vote, Jonathan, or no?

I am not. Well, then that is a great opportunity to go chase as many ballots as you can and just honestly call people, remind them to vote and boost turnout. And so that's where I got. That's where I cut my teeth. As an obvious one. Jonathan, have your parents voted, assuming they're on our side? I believe they have. Yes. I'll double check with them. I think they did it over the weekend or late last week. That's great. That's one of the best things you can do if you know people in your own life. Just

You can ask them, have you voted yet? Like, let's, let's go do it. Let's go get, I don't know. What do people have in Texas? Ice cream, barbecue, what a burger, go get something like, and then let's go, let's go vote. I think, I think, uh, if you can be a little bit irritating, it's

it's for the sake of the country and I've been doing that that's been my practice with like every single person I've been speaking with for the past two weeks I called my parents asked if they voted asked my siblings if they voted and they're in states like you know that aren't even up for grabs right now but that is a great thing to do especially I'm not sure where you are in Texas but

Democrats are always fighting. They dream of turning Texas blue. And so you guys have a competitive Senate race. We should be favored, but it's competitive. You have a lot of competitive House seats. We want to make it. We want Democrats to be miserable about how long they've been fighting to make Texas blue and failing. And we look forward to you joining the fight directly in just a few years.

Thank you. Thank you so much for being a member and get as many people as you can to get out to vote. Okay, let's see members here. Members.CharlieKirk.com. Who do we have next? Daisy. Let's see. Amanda. Amanda, thank you for being a member. What is on your mind? And tell us where you're from. Hi, Charlie. Hi, Blake. I'm from Oregon. First of all, Charlie, I saw you on or heard you on your Georgia speech. It was just powerful, amazing speech.

And I was so hoping to see you at Madison Square Garden, but you weren't there. Yeah, you know, I had a pre-existing commitment in Arizona, so I wasn't able to do that. Yeah, but you were powerful in Georgia.

How much can pastors share from the pulpit? I mean, I know they can talk about any cultural ill, you know, according to the Bible, but how far can they speak? Because it seems like Jack Hibbs and Rob McCoy and others that you've presented on your program say so much. But being reminded of this Johnson Amendment, is that really accurate? I mean, is that, do they follow through on that?

Yes, I mean, first of all, they've never followed through on it before. But secondly, what difference does it make? Do you really need as a church the government's permission to speak out biblically? I mean, think about how backwards we are, where the church thinks they're subservient to the government. And so what Jack Hibbs and Rob McCoy say is, so what? We're going to operate outside of the government. Go ahead. Come after us. We don't care. I wish we had more pastors that had the courage of their convictions to do that.

But yeah, I'm gonna push for Donald Trump to try to get rid of the Johnson Amendment. In the first administration, they tried to get rid of it legislatively. I think it's unconstitutional and I think churches need to be able to speak out boldly. Thank you so much for being a member, Amanda. Talk to you soon, thank you. Laura, Laura, what is your question? Thank you for being a member, members.charliekirk.com. - Hi Charlie, Mr. Joshua. I talked to you a while ago and I said you were a Joshua at the very beginning of this in the Bible.

Do you remember that? Yes. Thank you. I remember that. Thank you. Well, OK, so I have a couple of questions. But first, I want us to remember about Habakkuk. Do you remember in Habakkuk, how in Habakkuk 3 and he says 16 through 19. OK, so at the very end, it says yet. So he's very scared, right? Habakkuk is. He says, I heard in my inward parts trembled.

And he says, yet I will exalt to the Lord and I will rejoice in God, my salvation. The Lord God is my strength and makes me my feet like hind feet and makes me walk on high places. Charlie, as I watch you guys and this movement, you and your workers and all of you guys, I just see amazing. The Lord, the Holy Spirit is guiding guys. That's all there is to it. It's amazing. Amen.

I just have to tell you that. Well, thank you, and God bless you for those kind words. Thank you. It's so refreshing. I mean, I watch it, and I had emailed you a note this morning to let you know, and you're wonderful people, that you're so, you guys, you're doing God's work, but you're not only doing that.

I love on your call to continue, to continue to go out there and to continue to keep on fighting, but keeping your eyes on the Lord, but you keep on going and going. You have to fall and get up and keep going and keeping your eyes fixed on the prize. And so I see that in you guys, Charlie, you guys are standing strong and you guys have your, you have your eyes on the prize. And I just, um,

It's one. I mean, I'm not even saying everything is one, but God has won the victory of it all. So, yeah.
