"Do not just show up at the border, stay where you are and apply legally," President Biden announced on Thursday, as the White House revealed he will make a visit to the US southern border this weekend. This trip comes amid heavy criticism of the Biden administration for its handling of border and immigration policy. In his Thursday speech, he revealed there will be a tougher crackdown on illegal crossings made by migrants coming from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Haiti and Cuba—an expansion of a previous policy that has proven effective. FOX News Sunday Host Shannon Bream joins the Rundown to discuss what the White House is hoping to accomplish with Biden’s visit to the border, disagreement in Congress about legislative priorities on the issue of immigration, and the uncertain future of student loan debt cancellation.

Today marks two years since the attack at the United States Capitol in which rioters attempted to block votes which certified Joe Biden as President. As part of the massive Omnibus spending bill, Congress just passed the Electoral Count Reform Act, which lawmakers hope will make challenging election certification results more difficult. Managing Editor of Sabato's Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia Center for Politics Kyle Kondik joins the Rundown to explain why the law will be helpful. He also discusses the ongoing challenges of America's Electoral College system.

Plus, commentary from co-host of Fox & Friends Weekends and Host of ‘The Will Cain Podcast’ Will Cain.
